Is what most modern people would say these days. I mean what sane person believes in dragons, mermaids and fairies when we have all these modern scientific proofs that they aren’t real? It’s not like anybody’s actually seen one.
Well my friend, some things are invisible by choice but that don’t mean it’s not real. “Mythical creatures” aren’t so mythical after all. They are one hundred percent bonafide real, and more tied to our sheltered modern world than you think.

A long time ago, the kingdoms of the mer, fairies, elves and other creatures roamed the earth freely and dominated it, they co-existed and sometimes even mated with humans. But humans started to get greedy and take over the earth, driving the Fair Folk into near extinction and blotting them from the pages of history. The Fair Folk found a brand new world where they flourished once again, but never again appeared to all but their chosen humans, until now.

On Earth, there are many hidden gateways to the magical world, and although the fair folk have been content for many years, some are not so content. Some dream of conquering the Earth once again and the few humans that do know of the magic world want to take it for themselves, and that puts both the magical world and modern Earth in grave danger. The magic world isn’t as primitive as you think, many aspects are quite modern it’s just more natural and magical. The evil doers of the magic world will not be denied however, in order to take over Earth and rule the magical world, they must first understand the modern human and its technologies. Seeking the power to take the planet, the evil ones have cast a spell to bring modern humans into the magical world to use their secrets for their dark purpose. However, if the side of light gets these humans there is a chance to save all.

You are one of these modern humans trapped in the magical world trying to get home, or you are either one of the dark ones that sent them there, or a creature of light trying to aid them in escaping. It’s your choice, it’s a sandbox-y RP with a plot to help keep it running so you can pretty much do what you want aside from the main plot, but the main plot is always there. Now I know I have a problem at keeping RPs alive, but I do try my best and I hope that this one will last.

Powers/Abilities: Titania is an extremely powerful fairy with a variety of magical abilities, but her main power is telekinesis and to use light both for attack and causing explosions.

Special Skills: She's a formidable warrior and in place of magic, her main weapons are twin long knives.

Bio: Titania was the daughter of Queen Fidelia and Lord Janus, rulers of the Seelie Court and as their eldest child she was future heir. Growing up raised to be a queen, she was determined to be a great ruler for her people. Living on Earth for most of her young life, she had a good relationship with the humans she was around until the Great War which drove the magic creatures into another world.

As a young princess, she eventually met Oberon, the Prince of the Unseelie Court in a meeting set up by their parents. It was hoped that the two would marry and as such unite their kingdoms and heal the rift between the kingdom of the fairies. Well it wasn't exactly love at first sight, as teens tend to do especially as strong personalities as these two have, Oberon would playfully tease her and Titania would fight back. They became annoyed with each other but couldn't deny the growing attraction between them. It was when they saved each other's lives during an attack that they started to bond and eventually fell in love. They then married and upon the death and abdication of the former rulers respectively, Oberon and Titania became the king and queen of the fairies. They have a lot of marital strife due to both of their temperamental personalities, constant arguing, annoying each other and sometimes affects the weather, revenge pranks, jealousy and infidelity on both sides but besides that the two still love each other deeply, just don't show it as much as they used to. When the plot to take over earth by the dark ones was uncovered, Titania with her husband rushed to close the remaining gateways between earth and the magic world. They closed all but one that was well hidden, and the modern humans were brought through there into the magic world to be used in this war. Now the Fairy Queen is on a mission to get these humans home and preserve the world.

Bio: Jason's family and the circumstances around his birth are unknown. He was left at an orphanage in a South American village when he was just a new born. The conditions there were very difficult and dangerous. The children often fought and bullied each other over supplies and food. It was here that early in life Jason learned that you needed to fight for yourself to survive.
When Jason was just six years old a man in a black armored uniform had come by his village. He had seen Jason get into a fight with three older kids in the village. Though Jason held his own for a while the others soon over powered him and began to beat him mercilessly. Intrigued by this child the man came over and broke up the fight. He tended to the boy's wounds and asked him his name in Spanish. The boy wouldn't speak to him for a while, but nodded when the man asked him if Jason would like him to take him away from the orphanage. Jason eventually opened up to the man and told him his name and that he had lived in the orphanage all his life as he never knew his parents. The man adopted Jason and took him to his large home at the base of the Andes Mountains.
Soon Jason learned that the man was a professional mercenary named Jonathan Marrison. Despite his violent profession Jonathan was also a very intelligent and cultured man. He spent equal amounts of time training Jason in academics and culture as well as combat. After years of training Jason has grown into a skilled and deadly mercenary, though sometimes he grows weary of his future as he doesn't get joy from killing and just sees it as part of the job. Training and assisting his adopted father, Jason has traveled across the world and had a rather exciting life so far.

Bio: Helen was born to Ayodele and Akeni Elan in Sierra Leone, West Africa. She grew up in a fairy well off family and is the second of five children. She grew up like any other middle class African girl and went to Leone Stare College at seventeen. However she was expected to be like other women and get a job as a retailer or clerk, marry and have children. But from an early age it was clear that Helen loved the spotlight and the stage.

She performed in school plays ever since she was fivce years old and always was ready to take a picture. Her aunt saved up enough to put her in acting classes and she excelled in them. It was clear that this young girl was meant to be a star, and Helen wanted to strike her luck in America but her parents weren't very sure about sending her away. She made some videos doing skits with her friends and put them on YouTube, being discovered by an American talent agent named David Barcroft. David saw the potential in Helen and s\took her to New York with him where she got her start on Broadway and winning the fifth season of America's Next Top Model. She started to get bigger and bigger roles and has been in many famous movies.

Bio: Oberon is the son of King Erebus and his wife Queen Esperanza of the Unseelie Court. Growing up as heir, he had an upbringing befitting a future king. The Unseelie Court is the court of the "dark" faeries and Oberon always wanted to fix their image, he is proud of his heritage and the fact that they strike fear intro their enemies but always wanted to show that all Unseelie fairies were not evil. He was trained in governance, warfare, strategy and magic and while most children would dread such a thing, Oberon always relished in it. His closest confidant from childhood was his best friend Robin Goodfellow, son of the royal librarian who was alwaya better known by his nickname Puck, known for his light-heartedness and knack for mischief. The two were always very close throughout the years, sometimes intimately so in their youths but their bond was always akin to that of brothers. Oberon like Titania grew up in the Fae Kingdom on Ireland in Earth but as a child the war between humans and the magic beings forced them into a new world. Oberon was resentful for many years and wanted to take over Earth but eventually learned to let go of his hatred for humans and finding out that this world was a new beginning for them.

As a teen, he met Princess Titania of the Seelie Faeries and the two were introduced in the hopes that something would grow between them. Oberon, taken by her beauty but wanting to see what she was like started to tease her, with the help of his friend Puck they made the courtship a bit of a game. Seeing that she was willing to fight and had a strong mind and heart, Oberon genuinely fell for her and started courting her seriously. It took three proposals but she finally accepted and the two were wedded that summer. The two being both equally strong and fiery in temper and never wanting to be wrong argued frequently and tricked each other often, the famous one being when Oberon out of revenge made Titania fall in love with Bottom, who had been transformed into a donkey to humiliate her, something which Titania still hasn't forgiven him for. Despite their marital strife and mutual unfaithfulness on occassion, he truly loves her very much and will protect her without hesitation and even enemies say that the two of them together are a formidable pair.

They've been wed for 28,573 years so that says something. Oberon wants children and often asks Titania why she refuses to get pregnant seeing as how fae women can control all that. Titania, wanting kids too insists that they can't bring a kid into their hurricane of a marriage at the state it's in. Oberon, being the Unseelie King with Puck as his main attendant was at first blamed when the plot to conquer Earth was discovered. Titania defended her husband and beinf tried innocent, he and Titania worked to stop the plot by arresting the leaders and closing the gateways, but they didn't get them all and the humans were sent here anyway. Now trying to save both worlds, Oberon and Titania along with the other leaders of the magical world have to get to the humans before the dark ones do.

Bio: Arristar was born in the shapeshifter kingdom to a small merchant family. He traveled along with his mother and father on their business trips and Arristar always loved adventuring and would often run off and get himself in trouble. Arristar learned his parents' trade however he knew that aventuring was his true calling. When he was 15 Arristar set off on his own. Over the last six years he has travelled across the fantasy world. Seeing many things and meeting many different peoples. Because of his travels he has learned many languages and is quite resourceful. His journeys even took him to a royal party held by the King and Queen of the fairies which proved to be a very interesting experience. In the last year however he began to notice strange goings on around the world. They were small, but signs that something bad was happening. Arristar has now been traveling around trying to figure out what was going on.

Bio: Alaza was born to a powerful general in Dasgaria. The general was disappointed when his eldest child was a daughter. However Alaza proved to be a capable warrior who enjoyed fighting even from a young age. Over the last few hundred years Alaza has proven her skill as a warrior and made quite a name for herself in her kingdom. She has also become notorious for her behavior which some see as not fight for a woman. She often drinks and parties at feasts and after battles. Recently after the King of Dasgaria had noted the disturbing events around the world he sent Alaza to serve Queen Titania as a guard and adviser as a sign if good faith. Alaza didn't much like the idea but did her duty and has been serving the Queen for over a year. The king often flirts with her though Alaza doesn't return his advances out of respect for the queen. In fact, she is secretly more attracted to the queen than the king. She has been working closely with the Queen to try to find out who was causing the disturbances throughout the world.

I don't see why not. They'd probably have to be pretty old though seeing as humans and magical creatures haven't been in contact for thousands of years. Or maybe they married and one decides to stay in the other's world.
