So, Why Is Military Trade So Popular?

A meeting place where national storefronts can tout their wares and discuss trade. [In character]

So, Why Is Military Trade So Popular?

Left, Right and Centre you can see arms or weapons being sold, designed or funded. Some nations are just naturally rich, others are trying to militarise but my biggest question is;
Why is armament so important to countries?
Poland's amazing. It's full of food.

https://www.politicalcompass.org/yourpoliticalcompass?ec=-4.38&soc=-0.21 why must it be so dull. A socialist at heart, but ended up with this :)

I am deeply sorry for the attacks on your nations capital, and pray for those affected by the attacks both in Paris and throughout France. As a fellow Muslim I apologize deeply and in place of those who use our religion to commit such an heinous crime. I pray for France, for Paris, and for all those affected.

Defense, expansion, and pointing at people/groups who don't follow your orders. Nukes for the safety of assured mutual and complete destruction.

To answer this as quickly as possible: Humans, like other animals, love war in one way or fashion. Therefore, that behavior leaks here.

To answer it from a GE&T standpoint: It isn't hard, depending how you do it anyways, to make an arms storefront. Though I don't honestly wish to call storefronts that just list some stats and a picture an arms storefront - they are the primary examples though, which is sad. There are other popular ideas here but arms are the most simple and sought after industry to run as. Even I got into it because I wanted to try my hand at it - the only reason im so successful, though, is hard work and dedication to the game.
