NBC needed to make a business decsision and trump was no longer as profitable nor as importent for the network. His comments about illegal immigrants didn't help ether. I don't condemn or condon what NBC has done. It was a business decsision at it core and I can't blame a corporation for making a business decsision.

Either way, private businesses like NBC have the right to terminate employees if they feel that said employee's conduct reflects poorly on the business. It's the same reason that people get fired from or passed over for a job because they put photos of themselves doing stupid things on Facebook.

They don't want to alienate their customer base by backing a candidate who makes those kinds of off-the-cuff inflammatory remarks, or any political remarks whatsoever. Channels like FOX and MSNBC make their living off sponsors and consumers who buy into their political views, but NBC, to my knowledge, is strictly a profit-driven business.
