Aurora. Galactic RP (Closed to CAS)

Aurora is an rp based around the future and space colonization. Players will be able to implement future technology their own alien species, and conquer the galaxy through trade, politics, or military. The rp is very sandbox allowing players to choose their species, tech level, and starting location. And they just have to abide by the rules in order to survive. Certain technologies will be limited such as space travel will be defined by the rp. The rest is up to the player.
Aurora, Galactic Roleplay; Takes place in an area known as the Aurora Sector, an area in the Nexus Spiral Galaxy where Three Solar Systems are within Phase Space Proximity of eachother. Many planets, stars, and other space anomalies exist within The Aurora Sector making for the best journey through outer space.

-Technology must be at most basic space exploration technology at start. We all know you can't just appear with god technology.
-Space travel is managed via Wormhole Jumping form of Space travel during the beginning

-Wormhole Jumping is derived from the Black Hole portals that were harnessed by the ancient galactic empire to quicken travel across star systems.
-Control of these Black Hole portals is key to trade and travel throughout the Aurora Sector.
-The Black Hole gates offer instantaneous travel to the other end of the portal.
-Travelling outside of your planet clusters takes months without the use of Wormhole Jumping without the use of Faster than Light travel which you may develop later on.
-The Wormholes do not travel on a specific route or on a route at all. Keep in mind these wormholes are essentially wrinkles in space that have an opening to the other side of the wave.

-The time scale of this rp is 1 Week(s) out of character are equal to 1 Month in character.


-If you are applying as a Human Species be sure to make it your culture first then (Human) in parenthesis afterwards.
-Any form of intelligent life is playable as a species as long as it would be plausible. (Walking Zebra Men if its believable)
-Using a species from another universe is allowed but not recommended.
-You may use another player's species with permission.
-You cannot make your species gods. (sadly) That would be unfair.
-You may not start on a Barren Planet.
-You may not create lore for a planet you do not own or have not attempted colonizing. (IMPORTANT)

Short Physical Description: Goths stand at average height and tend to have pale skin, with black or brown hair, Purple or Blue eyes, and like to decorate their face with purple or black make up ranging from a few small dots to intricate webs decorating their entire face.
Brief History of Species: The Goths inhabit Anno along another minority called the Drac; a warrior cult that inhabits Anno's most eastern continent. While they fought for some time in their early history they now are tolerant of each-other and the Drac recognize the Goths as the rulers of Anno. The Drac often fight in the Gothic military and typically sell their abilities as warriors throughout the Pheon System.
 The Goths have begun developing technology to weaponize space and protect their trade.

Tarazedian Exodus

Shortly after the turn of the 20th Century, a Tarazedian Antarctic expedition unearthed an alien device beneath the McMurdo Glacier after investigating a series of earthquakes in the area beneath the ice. The discovery of the ring-shaped alien “Gateway” (as it came to be known) and various associated artefacts were quickly classified, with everything that had been recovered sent to the recently completed Site 31 in the mountains of the Tarazedian heartland.
It wasn't for another ten months before the purpose of the ring was discovered by a brilliant team of Tarazedian scientists, linguists and engineers. The ruling theory quickly became a postulation that the ring was in fact a gateway between two locations in space, all that remained was to test this theory; a process which would take years of programming, translating and calculating.
The first proper activation of the gateway occurred on the 18th of January 1970, where a series of probes were launched to survey the location beyond the confirmed gateway connection.
The probes emerged in a lush woodland area on a world (designated P3X-403 by the Tarazedian computers that calculated the gateway connection) and confirmed the presence of seven new elements, extra-terrestrial life and that there was a whole plethora of gateway destinations.
This mission cemented the importance of Project Gateway and Site 31, which began manned expeditions through the gateways in 1973. Gateway usage continued to the late 2020s - with several thousand destinations being charted and potentially tens of thousands still to be charted, remaining highly classified despite numerous close calls with the Tarazedian media and international curiosity at what purpose Site 31 actually served as the site had an annual budget of over 5.4 billion meritums to run despite having no official purpose other than weapons research.
The major snags began to appear on the issue of integrating the discovered technologies and elements into the general population – as even the most optimistic simulations predicted global mass panics and rioting if the program’s findings were declassified. After meeting with a handful of world leaders, the general consensus was that such an announcement would be catastrophic.
As such, the Tarazedian government came up with a solution. They wagered that their own populace would be able to digest the information and as such began planning for a mass re-location of the Tarazedian people under the guise of a major reactor failure so that the other nations would not be put at risk.
On the 14th of August 2030, Tarazed suffered a complete communications blackout – all connections to the outside world were severed and at 3PM local time, Director Damion White announced the activities of the Gateway program to the general public. Over the next few hours, several riots occurred in Tarazedian city centres but were extinguished soon after they began; the population was then transferred to Tarazedia Prime via mass teleport – a technology procured through Gateway explorations.
Following the Exodus of the population, all sensitive materials were either destroyed or transferred to Tarazedia Prime. The existence of Project Gateway is still not public knowledge to many nations of Earth.

Tarazedia

Upon the population’s arrival on Tarazedia Prime (formerly P3X-253), order was quickly restored and the first major settlement sites chosen. Once a general consensus was reached, construction of the new megacities to house the bulk of the population before the expansion out into the rest of the planet began in earnest.
The leap in technology became immediately apparent to the population, what would have normally taken months to construct was completed in hours as large skyscrapers rose from the ground – constructed in hours by nano-robots. Less than a day after the population had arrived a fully cohesive supply chain had been erected and over an eighth of the population had been moved into permanent housing.
As the nano-robots continued to fabricate the new cities, additional sites were selected for further settlement and over the next few weeks the entire Tarazedian Population had been resettled over the surface of Tarazedia Prime and designated a temporary civic duty to quicken the complete restoration to Pre-Exodus life.

Short Physical Description: Suited Female Ellassi, Unmasked Female Ellassi, and Artist Depiction of Unmasked Ellassi Female.

Ellassi are generally shorter and of slighter build than humans. Ellassi have an endoskeleton, lips, teeth, and two glowing white eyes with eyelids and tear ducts; they also have three thick fingers on both hands which include a thumb, an index finger, and a long finger, similar to the middle fingers for humans, as well as three toes on each foot. Ellassi facial structure and hair actually makes them very similar to humans in physical appearance. Their lower legs are bowed backwards significantly, compared to humans. Aside from hands and legs, their general body shape and sexual dimorphism is similar to humans. Male Ellassi, however, appear to lack a third toe. Their ears are longer than human ears and end in a point, though they hear just as well as Humans.

Ellassi are very sensitive to touch, they live typically as long as Humans, and due to most bacteria and viruses on their homeworld being beneficial to Ellassi in some way they have very weak immune systems. Requiring them to wear sealed suits in order to survive anywhere off their planet or not in a sterile clean room. Ellassi are a very social species among themselves but around non-Ellassi they are rather shy and prefer to observe them from afar. Ellassi are Omnivores.

Brief History of Species:

The Ellassi are a very peaceful species with perhaps an innocent or naïve look at the worlds beyond them. It should be noted that the Ellassi have fought few wars between themselves as they are a very emotionally attached to those of their species and that the act of killing another Ellassi no matter the circumstances has been recorded as causing the killer to fall into deep depressions which have sometimes been inescapable. As such it should be no surprise that the Ellassi religion is a religion of peace. A female goddess named Keelah and the ancestors of the Ellassi look over and protect the Ellassi people and keeps from them the horrors of war as they bestow upon the Ellassi the blessings of peace. The more militaristic Ellassi however are not shunned, rather they adapted to Ellassi culture and became much like the ideal human Knights.

Ellassi warriors protected their brethren from dangerous wildlife and the few Ellassi who turned criminal, all the time holding to a code which bade them to win peace and defend the innocent with the sword. With most of their years in peace the Ellassi found it easy to unite themselves and with their unity came a golden era of advancement. Today that era has brought the Ellassi to a state of supreme technological advancement in the medical, robotic, AI, and even military fields. AI created thanks to Cognitive Impression Modeling, plasma weaponry and energy shielding, robotic workers (see Geth in ME) for dangerous and menial tasks, cybernetic implants, medical miracle cures and vaccines, all of this has been accomplished by the Ellassi and now after many years of hiding on and in orbit of Livua the Ellassi are eager to explore what the vastness of space has for them and to find other sentients out there to communicate with.

Brief History of Species:
the Empire of United Planets was formed on the planet Sol after the EUP known planet wide war. after the war the EUP was formed to attempt to unite the planet under a single leadership in order to avoid any more conflict between themselves. the EUP has inhabited and has a city/town on almost every continent on the planet and the EUP has started investing into the development of space fairing technology, though so far they have only made small progress.

Their fingers are like humans, excluding a pinky finger. They have two large toes on each foot. Their skin is usually a dull grey or brown. Their eyes are always a radiant blue. Their organs are also similar to humans, save a binary vascular system. (Two hearts,) Instead of dozens of teeth they have four mandibles.

However, in CE 2050 the prophet Vlupax announced that the one true God-King was here. The first God-King's name was Ulqamin. Ulqamin raised a massive army of followers and the last crusade began. In CE 2075 Ulqamin had conquered all of Ustapus. He then set up a dynasty of God-Kings that would never be broken...

Empire of United Planets Imperial armed forces have developed a type of mount using the current large reptilian creatures that are based on Sol. the EUP Military has created "mounted reptilian units" using the taming methods of the EUP Rangers and the Military enhancements of the Military R&D. the current number of the reptilian units is low but not yet tallied up, the variation is also low as of now.

The Gothic Navy
The Gothic Navy on the water is mediocre at best. Three fleets with a standard load out of ships. Each Fleet contains One Aircraft Carrier, Three Cruisers, Fifteen Destroyers, and thirty tactical and support ships.
Space on the otherhand is well invested in by the Republic and its corporations. While new to the Space front has seen several offensive military ships and interstellar trade ships.
