Rebel Alliance Theme
Image
The Rebel Officer stared out of the viewport of his command deck, which was still consumed by the alarms of damage to the Engine Compartment. How they made it so far, away from the clutches of the Empire was anyone's guess. But he had his own. The human stood erect and resolute next to his wounded Admiral, the last of the great Rebel heroes. Drawing his lasts breaths. Admiral Ackbar, after the destruction of the Second Death Star, had managed to pull a retreat from the Endor system with the Imperial Star fleet in momentary panic. His last contribution, would be to see the fleet...or whats left of it, safely arrive at their secret base, one in which they had hoped they would never need to use. For if victory awaited them at Endor, then it would sound the beginning of the end for the Empire. However, the Rebellion lost 50% of their fleet strength in that battle, and even with the destruction of the Second Death Star, the Imperial Navy showed no signs of breaking. As they hungered for the glory of ending the Rebellion that day.

Image

And so the Rebels fled, fleeing to a world where they knew, they would be safe. At least for a time. Tantus II, a small moon orbiting a planet of the same name. A world never discovered by the Empire, or the Republic before it. And only happened upon by chance from a Rebel convoy just a year earlier. At first it was dismissed by Rebel Command, as the world had no strategic location. Had few known resources and was far away from any real strategic objectives deep in the outer rim. But now, hidden, is the most important thing for the Rebellion. And it is here, on this world, where Ackbar rests his closes his tired eyes for the last time. That the Rebellion, shall burn anew.

Imperial Theme
The nameless soldier, bearing the armor of a Imperial Stormtrooper, slowly removed his helmet and gazed above the forest canopy of Endor. He could still see the destruction of what used to be the Second Death Star, the ultimate weapon of order in the Galaxy. Along with its end, came the end of the Emperor and his own right hand, Darth Vader. What events transpired upon that great station, this soldier will never know. But as he wiped his sweaty brow with the back of his gloved hand, readjusting his E-11 Blaster, he replaced the helmet upon his head and descended back into the forests of the world. If he could not understand what has happened here, he could at least ensure that the remaining Rebel scum and their small bipedal allies would not enjoy their brief victory.

Image

Pacing aboard the bridge of his Star Destroyer, the Admiral knew what was coming for the Empire. Despite what will be shouted in propaganda stories as a Great Victory, the destruction of the Death Star, and the deaths of it's Emperor and Vader left the Empire in a place of doubt. There was no line of secession, namely because the Emperor never planned to need one. So, despite the armadas of Star Destroyers and the Legions on Stormtroopers...the Empire hangs on a knife's edge. And the greatest threat to it will soon the the squabbling Grand Moffs, who rule their separate portions of the Galaxy. It will not take long for them to begin plotting to seize the throne, and should a weak and foolish man claim the position, then surely chaos will reign throughout the pinnacle of Galactic civilization.

CIS theme
Roars and cheers from a red skinned warrior people, the Kaleesh. A planet in which has defied the order of the Empire, under new leadership from a long forgotten warrior from the Clone Wars. A Kaleesh whose visage is almost exactly like that of the General who almost led the Old Republic to ruin and terror with his campaigns at the helm of the endless armies of droids and machines. King Malevolence, non other than the son of the deceased General Grievous, Malevolence has united his people to throw off the rule of the Empire from their world and doing so, has proclaimed the return of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, rallying many alien worlds, oppressed by the human superiority Empire to follow their example, and join the ranks of his new Confederacy.

Image

The secession of Kalee sparked numerous other secessions across Imperial Space, most of which were alien worlds with a few rebellious human worlds thrown in, such as Onderon among others. The Confederacy of Independent Systems was rising anew, spurred on by the slow response of the Imperial Moffs, the upstart CIS was able to take control of their own worlds, but hold little power beyond. Now, as they rise up, tainted by a reputation of the past, they must carve through the crippling problems facing them, or risk being swept away by the march of the Empire.

Chiss Ascendancy theme
Image
And in the unknown regions of the Galaxy, a secret power has awoken, finding a chance to dominate the Galaxy, as they unveil themselves as allies of the Empire on the surface. But just beneath it, they craft plans to form the Empire into nothing more than their own puppet regime. Taking complete control of the Galaxy through the Empire's massive industrial, economic and military complexes. Needing to only aid the Empire in ruining their enemies while ensuring that whoever takes the Imperial Throne will never be strong willed enough to resist Chiss influence. Or who know? Perhaps they will install one of their own.

OK, thank all of you for the patience in reading that setting. The Galactic Civil War has changed drastically, and while both the Empire and Rebellion are greatly weakened, although in different ways, new players and powers rise to carve their own place in the Galaxy. This RP will embody character RP, warfare RP, political and espionage RP as well. In short, this is a very different Star Wars galaxy then we all know, and it will be ours to mold. All of our characters, and their stories will have far reaching affects. Perhaps you are an ambitious Imperial Governor of Grand Moff, with eyes on the throne? Maybe you are a idealistic Rebel, inspired by the sacrifices of your heroes? A Chiss spy, divulging secret Imperial Information to your superiors. Or a CIS officer, struggling to defend a fledgling nation from two overwhelming powers? The possibilities are endless.

Seek out survivors of Order 66? Create a powerful new Mandolorian Mercenary Army? Champion the cause of freedom?

The tales we weave will shape everything. With all of that said, I welcome you to my RP and May the force be with All of You!

Name: Aran Vale

Species: Human

Gender: Male

Age: 43

Faction: Rebel Alliance

Appearance:
Face
Uniform

Personality: Aran is a ambitious individual. He has a desire to be recognized, is very proud and hates when he feels as if he is being passed or looked over. This is balanced by a very driven personality and his own belief that there are no 'No win situations'. He values friends and allies, but is not above using them if it would serve what he believes to be a greater good. Aran has a habit of being very formal and proper, and carries himself with an almost aristocratic air.

Biography: Born in 39 BBY on Onderon, Aran Vale was born into a upper class family on that world. He was raised in a very Aristocratic environment, and has retained the attitude of such of a position ever since. Growing up, he was an average student, often to preoccupied with chasing women and living freely on his family's wealth. This however began to change in the years proceeding the Clone Wars. 17 when that conflict began, when Aran's family, and in particular his father supported the CIS, he did as well. They both looked up to Count Dooku and his stand against the corruption of the republic, and as such, turned a blind eye to the appointment of a Pro CIS king on Onderon. When the Onderonian Civil War began, with the Republic supplying the resistance against the CIS ruled world, Aran did not take an active part in the fighting. But once the Onderonian Rebels succeeded in overthrowing the King, and the Republic's rule was restored on the world. Aran's family was placed under investigation for their support for the CIS. After the war and during the Rise of the Empire, his father, who had been under arrest for more than a year, was sent off to a 'Re-education Camp'. He was never seen again.

Now in his early twenties, Aran was nothing like the boy he used to be. Even while his family was stripped of their status, their wealth seized by the New Order and his mother and several siblings being forced into slavery for failure to pay new debts, Aran was more than dissatisfied with the New Order. But, before he could do anything about it, he was drafted into the Galactic Imperial Navy. Where he rose to the rank of Captain, his ship was stationed in orbit above Mirial, a dry and frigid world in the Hydian Way, and home of the Mirialan species. It was here that he met Irella Sega a young Mirialan woman whose own family had supported the CIS during the Clone Wars that Aran became infatuated with. But, being a Imperial Officer, his relationship with her needed to remain a secret. And so, while his ship was assigned to her world, they built a image of being nothing more than an informant reporting to a Imperial Contact.

However, after a couple years, Irella revealed that she was actually a Rebel contact, and offered Aran a chance to finally abandon the Empire which he hated. Citing that his experience in the Imperial Navy would be invaluable to the upstart rebellion, but both knew personnel reasons had more to play. A month later, on a routine patrol outside of the system, the ship suffered sabotage from Rebel agents, and was lost with all hands. That was the official story, in reality, Aran had arranged a shore leave for most of the crew, all of those not loyal to him, and keeping only a skeleton crew that he could trust, stole the ship and defected to the nearest Rebel cell, with Irella aboard guiding their way. When he arrived, the rebels in desperate need of officers, quickly given command of a Corellian Corvette, which he renamed the 'Indigo Light' and for the ceremony in which he took command of the ship, was a marriage between himself and Irella aboard the Bridge of the warship.

In the following years, he took part in many of the most crucial space battles between the Rebellion and the Empire. Present at Yavin, Hoth and the Battle of Endor, Aran has perfected the Rebel profile of denying space to the Empire via isolated strikes and raids, bypassing large naval battles and instead hunting supply convoys, outposts and undefended garrisons. He soon rose to be one of the chief advisers of Admiral Ackbar, a figure he held in deep regards, and even discovered the world of Tantus II, believing it should be made into the new HQ of the Rebellion. But he was overturned.

But now, with Luke, Ackbar, Han, Leia and so many other Rebel Heroes dead or captured. He now sits at the most powerful position of a greatly weakened Rebellion. But with the rise of the CIS, a power in which he believes could be a natural ally in their fight against the Empire. Only time will tell if Aran can remake the Rebel Alliance into the force it once was.

Name: Commodore Andar Valan Ondromar
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 44
Faction: New Imperial Senate
Appearance:
Normal:
Image
Armour:
Image

Personality: Andar is an incredibly loyal man, in almost everything he does. He is loyal to his ideals, to his commanders, to his family, his hopes and dreams… To the empire. That loyalty is what got him where he is in the first place. He is a man who believes that the end sanctify the means, and there is little he will not do to get his ideals to shine. Next to that, he holds life in high regard, and will only kill when commanded, or if no other option is easy.
Biography: The story of Andar Valan begins, for us, in the Imperial Academy at Coruscant. Coming from a political family (his father was a senator, his mother a bureaucrat), Andar was raised as a loyal servant of the Republic. He lived his early life, up until his twenties, nearly worshipping the Galactic Republic. From the Jedi to the Senate, and eventually, to the Grand Army of the Republic, he loved everything about this age-old institution. When his father supported Palpatine in his rise to power, so did Andar. When his father supported his claim as emperor, so did Andar. And when the emperor struck down the Jedi order in a single day, so too did Andar despise the Jedi. When the Imperial Navy opened up her ranks to non-clones, Andar was among the first to apply for the Academy. There, he got the training he needed to become an officer, an occupation he excelled at.

Andar was instrumental in the first years of the empire. Coming from a political family, he had a knack for the games of shadows politicians played. From system to system, he served as a lieutenant to many a Grand Moff, routing out political dissidence and those disloyal to the empire. He was brutally effective, but not too brutal. His operations were precise and aimed, and took out only those who were really the threat. His aimed operations proved successful, and many a planet was cleansed of high political figures who opposed the governors. He rose and rose, until he was taking his operations galaxy-wide. When the Imperial Senate was disbanded, Andar Valan Ondromar was the one who took the emperor’s justice to those who dared oppose him on the grand scheme of things. Many a former senator was found blasted, blown up, or simply never found again at the hands of the ‘88th Battalion’, nicknamed ‘Ghosts of Coruscant’.

It was in the political nightmare after the destruction of the first Death Star that Andar got where he is now. The vacuum of officers created by the explosion opened up the ranks for experienced individuals. Most of the officers blown up with the Death Star owed their position to rich families or connections, while the new officers were hand-picked for merit. The emperor himself rewarded Andar Valan with the position of ‘Commodore’, granting him greater powers over other officers and a lot more men and hardware to draw from. The new influx of officers also proved a test of loyalty, one not all greenhorns succeeded in. ‘Commodore Skull’ and his Ghosts made many visits in the following years, earning a sinister reputation as the ‘Emperor’s Clean-up crew’.

Yet, it was not to last. With the destruction of the Death Star II, the death of both the Emperor and Vader, and the scattering of the fleet, Andar retains only one ship. The Star Destroyer ‘Hound’ and her crew remain under Andar’s command, as his most loyal ‘Battalion 88’. With their sinister skull markings and black colour scheme, they still retain a measure of loyalty to their commander. With the death of the emperor, Andar’s job is not over. He believes the Imperial Senate needs to return, to either return to democracy (a system he has never lost faith in) or elect a new emperor. All those who oppose this idea are traitors, and Andar knows what to do with traitors. The Ghosts of Ondromar are not gone yet, and the galaxy would do well to remember.

App

Name: (Duchess) Mira Vizsla

Species: Human

Gender: Female

Age: 24

Faction: The Rebellion

Appearance:
Image

Personality: Mira Vizsla grew up in both settings of the New Mandalorians and the old ways of the Mandalorians, both had an influence on her. She is calm and compassionate, always trying to fight for what she believes is right and trying to fight evil wherever it surfaces. She values the art of diplomacy, and understands that her words can get her out of situations that her blaster may not be able to. Her time among the Mandalorian Clans instilled a strong sense of adventure and battle sensibility.

Due to witnessing the horrors the Imperials inflicted upon her people, she grew to hate the Galactic Empire and everything it stood for. She saw the Empire as a being of pure evil, trying to claim the galaxy for its own sinister purposes. The Rebellion's aid to the Mandalorians gave her a strong dedication to the Rebellion, hoping that her own aid may make up for the debt that her and her people owe to them. The newly formed Confederacy of Independent Systems she has mixed feelings on, she didn't dislike them and she has pondered whether or not they would be better suited for Kalevala's interests, but she still had her duty to the Rebellion that kept her from doing anything in favor of the Separatists.

Biography: Mira Vizsla was born in the waning days of the New Mandalorian rule over Mandalore in the end times of the Clone Wars, to unknown parents belonging to Clan Vizsla and the notorious Death Watch. Her parents brought her to the capital city when Pre Vizsla assumed power over Mandalore, hoping for her to live a life in the capital while training her to be apart of Death Watch.

These dreams were ruined almost immediately upon Pre Vizsla's death at the hands of Darth Maul, and in the immediate sweeping chaos that consumed the capital. Mira's father died trying to kill the Knight Owls, the traitors to the Death Watch under Bo-Katan Kryze. Her mother killed in the chaos that filled the capital afterwards. Alone and parentless, the young Mira wouldn't have survived if not for a group of fleeing Mandalorians that brought her with them to the planet of Kalevala, where she was adopted by a member of Clan Kryze.

She was taken care of among the Kryze Clan, who raised her as if she was their own, trying to instill the same principles that the New Mandalorians tried to instill into the Mandalorians. The Rise of the Empire brought tough times to the people of Kalevala. The ways of governance didn't prepare them for the Imperial forces, and Kalevala fell almost immediately. Clan Kryze, the outspoken leaders of the planet, were subjugated to execution to quell any rebellion that may occur on the planet. The young Mira, in order to be spared from harm, was sent back to her birth world of Mandalore where she was taken in by a Mandalorian Clan that was resisting Imperial control.

Living among the Mandalorians instilled her with the martial combat and culture of their people, something that the pacifistic New Mandalorians never did. She grew up in this society learning their ways, but this did little to prepare her for the Empire's strengthening control over the planet. She, along with her adopted clan, resisted the Imperial control but this did little to help them as the Imperial grip tightened around the planet. All seemed lost until the arrival of the aid of the Rebellion, with whose help they were able to finally throw off the Imperial controllers and free Mandalore.

Seeing this as a turning point, Mira returned to the planet of Kalevala in order to overthrow Imperial control, with which she was successful due to the Empire retreating from the sector. Upon liberation, Mira was named the leader of the new Kalevalan government, Duchess Mira Vizsla. Using the temperate hand she was taught during her time as a ward of the Kryze Clan, and using her Mandalorian knowledge she gained from the time on Mandalore, she formed a government that could run itself, democratically.

While she was named Duchess, she didn't feel all that ready for such a powerful position over a planet, she wanted to explore the galaxy and aid in overthrowing the Empire. With the advanced ship building techniques of the Kalevala Spaceworks, Mira Vizsla built a small fleet of Mandalorian fighters and warships that would be used in the Rebellion. She dubbed her small fleet as the Mandalorian Crusaders, harking back tot he time when Mandalorians waged Crusades against the Republic. Now the name was going to be used to wage war against the Empire.

Ohh,don't worry. It doesn't need any edits. As long as we both remember that the Kryzes were executed under the orders of my guy, we'll do fine. It's a small thing, but it'll add flavour.
The name's James. James Usari. Well, my name is not actually James Usari, so don't bother actually looking it up, but it'll do for now.

Trying to find a picture of a Cybernetic Kaleesh without using a picture of Grievous is borderline impossible.

Indeed, also gives my character a point of anger and revenge that could add a good bit of flavor to RP.

She finds out it was you, and things get real for her as revenge clouds her judgements and... I'm getting into spoiler plan territory. :P

Name: Commodore Andar Valan Ondromar
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 44
Faction: New Imperial Senate
Appearance:
[spoiler]Normal:
(Image)

(Image)

Name: (Duchess) Mira Vizsla

Species: Human

Gender: Female

Age: 24

Faction: The Rebellion

Appearance: [spoiler](Image)
