Although Descartes is a bit lazy about getting the world to exist since he basically invokes God for it to happen.

I roleplayed Rene Descartes for an AP Euro philosophical debate. I completely agree with you. The whole idea that God must exist because we can conceive in our minds such a being is complete bull. I can conceive a 6-legged snake with eagle wings and the head of our lord and savior Max Barry.
