Our Empire welcomes any nation that wishes to establish diplomatic relation with Forlini and, consequently, maintain a diplomatic mission inside Our country. Embassies and consulates may be established or if they wish, only either of the two. But first, let us introduce ourselves.
The Foreign Office
We are a group of people building bridges between cultures. Our mission is to foster relationship between countries while simultaneously learning and exchanging every bit of each other's culture in the spirit of knowledge, amity and, above all, humanity. We create and maintain academic, economic and security partnerships between foreign governments and the Forlinian government. We are also responsible for the maintenance of diplomatic missions in Forlini and making sure that the voices of foreign powers are heard in the Court of Her Imperial Majesty. The Empire of Forlini has been exchanging envoys with other nations since 349 AD and we look forward to exchange envoys with your country.
The Foreign Office is a department of Her Imperial Majesty's Government that deals with foreign and international affairs between Forlini and other countries. The division of the Foreign Office that maintains diplomatic missions is the Forlinian Diplomacy Center. The current Secretary of State for Foreign affairs is Hanifa Hilaire MP. She is recently appointed by Chancellor Rania Sadeghian after the formation of a new government following a general elections. She is a member of the United Royalist Party.
At the moment, all applications must be submitted in English.
Our Country
Forlini is an Empire ruled by Empress Beatrice. We are a member country of the Imperial Dominion, a group of countries that share the same Head of State. We are a democratic and compassionate people with reverence toward tradition. We value liberty, to an extent, and equality of races, religions, genders and ethnicities across all aspects of life.
Our capital city is Mianna, a bustling, clean and multicultural cosmopolitan filled with skyscrapers and beaux-arts buildings. Located by the sea, it offers magnificent view of the coast of Sainte Helene, overlooking the pristine waters of Forlini. We maintain an extremely-low carbon footprint and as a result of this, our sky is among the most clean in the world. Future diplomats need not worry about breathing the air around the bustling and grand avenues of our capital city. Our second most-populous city is Vetivaire, a historical baroque city complete with towering Cathedral and a Grand Mosque built in the renaissance style. There is a height limit for building construction in Vetivaire which is no higher than the column of Saint Andrew (about 15 floors tall). Other towns that host a significant number of expatriates are Ville Fatima, Lexham, Helia, Fincosia and North Clovia.
Important Information
Embassies are not sovereign territory, applicants seeking establishment of embassies and consulates must abide by international law and local laws. The physical building in which the embassy is located is called the chancery. The land on which the chancery is built is treated as Forlinian territory. We value diplomatic immunity and extraterritoriality as set forth by current international laws governing diplomatic affairs, therefore we will not barge in to your diplomatic compound without reasons subject to international law.
The following are a few rules to follow when applying for diplomatic mission(s) in Forlini:
1. Your Government must abide with international law concerning diplomatic missions, diplomatic immunity and any other regulation that governs the conduct of embassies and consulates.
2. You can only establish one embassy and it must be in our capital city of Mianna.
3. You may establish no more than three consulates.
4. Embassies have a limit of 25 security staff, 60 service staff, and 25 diplomatic staff. Consulates have a limit of 10 security staff, 20 service staff and 15 diplomatic staff. Each security staff at an embassy may only carry one weapon. Only two security staff of a consulate may carry a weapon at any given time, regardless of the total number of that consulate's security staff. Other security staff of consulates may carry non-lethal weapons such as taser guns.
5. Your country is not allowed to construct helipad or any hub for airborne vehicles within the premise of your chancery.
6. Consulates may be established in: Vetivaire, Ville Fatima, Lexham, Helia, Fincosia and North Clovia.
