The time is 1859, and nations of the world big and small see now as the time to establish themselves. Old empires hold on to what strands of power they have, while new ambitions one wish to upset the balance, revolution, nationalism, and militarism run high as each wish to hold to seat of power even if just for awhile. Races against races, man against man. In a world on innovation and creationism, some few see it as a opportunity to bring peace, other war, but one thing is for sure, a mark will indeed be left on this little blue dot.

The Eisenlander Empire is spreading through central Europe. Uniting Germanic peoples of the motherland, it promises a good economy, stability, and advancement to all who join it.

The population is made up of a curious people, speaking Eisenlander, but all women, possessing the parts of a male for reproduction. This causes a desire for one nation state of such Eisenlander peoples, as they fear discrimination abroad, and wish to create a safe zone for such people. The empire expands diplomatically, bringing smaller duchies and kingdoms under its wing.

Togeria likewise is expanding, focusing on bring Romantic nations, as its forces are split in Northern Italy, and Western France, doing what's possible to expand, as the leader Antoine the Merciful leads his forces in Italy.

The Vukmire spreads through Tusnia like a wildfire after gaining support of a new Islamic caliphate, it marches into Algeria with a Strom of men with rifles on their back.

Kaiserin Liesel continues to command the development of the empire, with her prime minister, Elise Fürstentag mandating the development of industry within the country, wishing to transform Eisenland into a highly industrial state.

Policies of Togeria shift toward expansion in Togeria, as Antoine structuring his military off the Eisenlander model for maximum effectiveness, as he continues his campaign in Italy.

The Eisernlanders make sure their model is the most efficient around. Effectively a meritocracy, it is staffed by noble officers and commoners alike, having passed through intensive training to reach their position. Any incompetence is rooted out, and punishments are stringent.

The Imperial Army is one of the most advanced as well, armed with the Dreyse needle gun, Eisenland's first bolt-action rifle, and capable of an extremely high and accurate rate of fire.

Togeria begins to establish some industry as well, hiring nearly anyone as to bolster the economy, and produce more ammo and guns. The Assembly begins building rail lines, as to improve communication.

Eisenland industrializes rapidly, exploiting coal and iron find in the naturally resource rich country. It begins setting its eyes on Alsace-Lorraine as another potential area for development, which could springboard industrial growth even further.

Togeria continues its expansion, moving more westward, as this for the time being takes priority, utilizing Calvary charges.

With the far northern area under RUT control, Antoine makes the decision to head back, and aid in the force expanding west.

The Eisenlanders manage the secession of the states of North Eisenland, including some areas stretching into the place known as "southern Kvasno." With the empire having fulfilled its dream of uniting the motherland, work begins on connecting railroads all throughout the great tracts of land.

Not alot of resistance is held in Algeria as the population is mostly Muslim though the western nations will not be so easy as they are introduced to Christianity from Spain.

The new kingdom of Olvic slowly develops in the north, the devine king Christoffer Ottosen trying to further his countries progress economically and industrially.

Togeria puts ore into its military structure, requiring at least 3yrs service for each available man, training them harder and in new techniques, as to keep on even levels with Eisenland.

Eisenland upgrades its standard military uniform, providing a sense of order and solidarity among the troops. The pickelhaube is a traditional symbol of imperial glory, and is hoped will induce fear in the troops of enemy nations.
