As of the 24th of May, 2015:

We the people and government of the Republic of Chernarus hereby declare our independence from the Socialist Federation of United Bogan States. We are tired of being under your oppressive Socialist regime, which you brutally and unjustly forced upon us and we are tired of you enforcing your nations laws on our people, destroying our sense of cultural and national identity. We will no longer be a pawn in your Socialist Union and we have a right to exist. The Republic of Chernarus has existed long before your states united to make the Socialist Federation of United Bogan States, and yet alone your Socialist Union. You may of saved us from invasion during World War 2 but you have occupied us yourselves and we will take no more of it.

Please vote yes on Chernarussian Independnece so Bogan will accept!

PS: We need a majority vote!

We proudly applaud your vote to declare independence from Bogan. We also understand your reasoning to do so, as we were stuck in the same situation you are in. See, in the first days following our freedom, we fought vigorously to drive out the dictatorship, but they didn't leave without a fight. That fight continues today, and we strive for our independence. I have been leading the people since day one, and will help anyone in times of revolution.
