A Royal Wedding Between Kefira and Lithuania (Closed)

Prince Casimir of Lithuania and Lady Neve Vinesk of Kefira are getting married in Verkiai Palace in the capital of Vilnius. Grand Duke Casimir invites all of the nations in the Western Isles to attend.

Verkiai Palace

Sigisumund Hall

High Council Hall

Conference Rooms

All of the following are provided to each representatives
-Hotel rooms to representatives on the premise of the palace.
-Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner all provided in the Sigisumund Hall.
-Free Wifi
-Spots in the garage (recommended that you drive to Vilnius due to it's location in the mountains).
-3 meeting rooms.
-High Council room open to anyone to meet w/t Lithuanian officials

All security will be handled Grand Duke's Guard, a security force tasked with the security of the Royal Family. The 1st Division of the Lithuanian Army will also be stationed near Vilnius.

The Grand Duke was sitting outside the palace waiting for the first of the respresentatives to arrive when Major General Tadeusz Kościuszko.
"Grand Duke, the Captain of the guard informed me all of the security measures are taken care of."
"Good," The Grand Duke replied. "I want no incidents."

While Eiralis has no royal family, or current head of state, we will be sending a small number of parliamentary representatives to attend the wedding, in hopes that we can secure better relations with our new allies. We hope it will not offend you if we send a small armed guard with our delegation, considering current states of foreign affairs with other countries. They will be armed, as usual, with nonlethal weaponry. We look forward to attending your delightful event.

Morgane Roatta, Prime Minister of Tuernia, pulled up to the palace. She arrived in car that had been sent to the airport to pick her up. President Allard was in the Vidnoye, and she had decided she would rather attend personally than send the Foreign Minister or a diplomat. As she pulled up she noticed the Grand Duke waiting outside the palace's entrance. She exited the car and walked towards him.

"Your Royal Highness, what an honor to meet you. I'm Morgane Roatta, Prime Minister of Tuernia. Congratulations on your son's wedding, and my condolences on your soon-to-be daughter-in-law's losses. We were all so sad to hear of the attack in Tuernia."

"I wasn't expecting any high ranking official to come with the Bhumidol conflict. About my daughter-in-law, she was heartbroken but, we must put the past behind us or it will consume us. She cannot return to Kefira now it's too dangerous. The Captain of the Guard has assigned 5 bodyguards to each of my family member. Any attack against Lady Neve Vinesk is an attack against Lithuania. But please, come inside with me. We can talk in the High Conference Hall."

"Oh yes, there have been many important Prime Ministers in our history. However, as the President appoints the PM, and they're almost always from the same party, the President ends up being the primary political figure. He sets out policy, and I serve more to work with the National Assembly to implement it. What's really interesting is those rare occasions where the President and PM are of different parties."

Denis Moss, diplomat, gets on the plane. Takes a shot of Jyusier otua, reads the news, finds out that the Stromae City FC just beat the Mynas Sporting Club in the Driidas Koc Stadium, sleeps. He wakes up, the plane lands, he gets off the plane, watches his watch, yawns, get on the diplomatic vehicle for Dansawae in Lithuania. Looks at himself in the rearview mirror, rubs his hairless forehead, wishes he had hair. Enjoys the view of Vilnius streets. Arrives to the Verkiai Palace, gets off the car. Enters the palace, registers, goes to his room. Showers, readies up, goes downstairs. Salutes the Grand Duke, congratulates him. Salutes Mrs Rotta. Confesses this country fascinates him, proposes the setting of a Dans'auw embassy in Vilnius.

"The ceremonies are quite important to the Lithuanian people The monarchy here has more power then most do in the world. I've heard of a certain Queen Elizabeth who is just a figurehead. Poor chap."

"There was a point were the Sejm tried to crack down on the monarchy. All of the palaces were owned by the Sejm, except this one. Over time, they were able to buy back 2 of the other ones.
