World Diplomacy III

Claim your nation here. Please post an opening for your nation.

For years, problems have faced the world, problems we often are faced with the fact that there is no option that ends well for everyone. It is these kinds of problems between nations that leads to a breakdown in international relations, threats, then full on war. Luckily, no major powers have gone to war yet, however, what if the consequences were less 'world ending?'

That's what this RP is set to focus on. The change of borders and how nations interact with each other in good times and bad. In this RP, you will take command of a nation of your choice and run it however you want. Once you've taken command of it, you will go by the nations name and leader (Of course unless the leader is removed and replaced later on or in the beginning post). Everyone who is in the RP will have a place on this map:

Rules:

-I'm OP so what I say goes. I am light however. Most things I'm okay with.
-No godmodding, numberwanking and usual unacceptable things in RPs.
-Humans only.
-No genetic apocalypse is allowed unless I allow it (Zombies)
-Genetic and Natural Warfare although is allowed
-Nukes are allowed if you're a nation that is capable of being armed with one. (Like Andorra would never ever ever have a nuclear bomb)
-Use your nation correctly. If you choose Andorra than your military cannot be 1 Million or if your the Philippines and you simultaneously become a economic superpower.
-Lastly, Have Fun!
-If you want a core nation (Like the California Republic, Brittany, or other non-existent but still possible of being a nation just telegram me and i'll look over it)

Claimed Nations:

The United States of America - Antarctica
Grand Panau - Australia

In the Ottawa sense of change is in the air as prime minister Harpers government comes to a foreseeable end in the election next month. Their biggest rival the Liberal party and their leader Justin Trudeau. Many people see him as one of the only honest politicians out their and he is ready o take his place as PM if the people want it.

But the people of Quebec have voted in the provincial elections and the Bloc Quececouis won the majority of seats in the provincial parliament, there one goal to see Quebec its own nation weather the rest of the country allows it or not. The armed forces in Quebec seemed unwilling to serve the greater canada and it looks likes mutiny could happen if Quebec decides against peacefully leaving and decides the latter, War

The Russian Federation, the largest nation on Earth and once a great superpower. Russia has seen her fair share of adversity, from France in the Napoleonic Wars, to the United States in the Cold War. However now, times have changed. International relations are stronger than they've ever been, and the world is divided into sections and alliances. Russia however, has been somewhat isolated since the fall of the USSR in 1991.

Under the leadership of a new President, Vladimir Reznov, Russia has begun to pursue a new foreign and domestic agenda. The new President seeks to drastically change Russia's geopolitical stance, shifting from a more Eastern habit over to a centralized position. On President Reznov's agenda is:

-Increasing free trade with China, the United States, and Europe.
-Building up an out of date military industrial complex.
-Uniting Russians around the nation, especially those in the Far East, showing that Moscow cares for them and they will not be left to die.
-Strengthening economic and military cooperation with form Soviet states.

If Reznov can accomplish these goals, he believes he will restore Russia to a respected and powerful international position. As he takes office and prepares to lead, he immediately begins his plan of 'centralization.'

The Republic of the Philippines has encountered different problems like corruption, China's claim on West Philippines Sea which truly belong to the Philippines, insurgency and many more. Later in 2015, the people can't take it anymore they have to choose the righteous leader to overcome the never ending problems, the people decided to do another people power to overthrow the current regime. Fortunately the current administration stepped down, and Viktor Salazar became the new leader of the country.

Viktor Salazar promised to act against insurgency, to fight what is right in West Philippine Sea, and to eliminate all government officials who was proved and included in corruption , the people found new hope to their new leader, hoping to bring the country back on it's former glory.
Work in progress!!

Premier of China State Building, Beijing, People's Republic of China

China. A nation of great history, the territories of the ancient Chinese people and their neighbours now belonged to great People's Republic of China. A world leader, and a nation of great importance on a global scale. A nation that cared not for the petty needs of the individual, but for the needs of society as a whole, the evils of capitalism and tyranny vanquished.

If only that were so Premier of China Li Shongqui reflected. China was once mighty, and now could be again. But things were deteriorating. This "plan for equality" wan not working. Corruption was rampant, and problems were everywhere. Even the Philippines is claiming our rightful territory! This had to be stopped. And Li Shongqui was determined to make the People's Republic of China the true global power it was meant to be.

First things first. The Premier of China asked the foreign minister to send some evidence of the righteousness of the Chinese claims on the Philippines. Not that anyone would believe them. But the Li Shongqui had other work to do. Contacting a few generals and admirals, he began to understand the military situation. Then he ordered a large fleet to Hainan. He would show the world why China was to respected....and feared.

To: Premier Li Shongqui of the People's Repubic of China
From: President Vladimir Reznov of the Russian Federation

China and Russia have had a long, complicated history. Our nation's have shared a border for centuries, we lived under Mongol rule, we worked together in World War II, but then relations soured later in the Cold War. It is a shame that our nation's went through such a divide.

I am President Vladimir Reznov of the Russian Federation. What I want is move Russia into a position of having better relations with the international community, especially nations like China. We have much in common, especially considering our shared ideology history. Throughout the Cold War, we were the two major Communist powers, but now that things have changed, we havn't really mended our broken relationship.

This is what I propose. We should hold a summit in Beijing in which we can discuss future economic and military cooperation. We are regional powers in this part of the world, but together, we could be greater superpowers than the world has ever known.

I hope can we look forward to a future of cooperation and I wish you well Premier.

The Federal Republic of Germany is found in the center of the European continent. It has a population of 82 million, with most of its citizens being fluent in German and English, and living in major cities such as Frankfurt. The German Capital, Berlin, is found in the northeastern part of the nation. This is where the Leader of Germany, Chancellor Gerard Atlantics, who is of British and German descent, makes his decisions, along with the Bundestag. The economy of Germany is indeed very strong thanks to automobile manufacturing, and other industries. It's currency is the Euro, and it's national animal is the Eagle.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I have an announcement to make. Firstly, the Kingdom of England and the UK is no more. From now on, the British Empire is reborn. All hail the Emperor. I will build this nation good and strong, make it great again. I hope to pass on my success to my son,"

The Republic of Georgia
"The Pearl of the Caucasus."

Overview

Georgia, or officially the Republic of Georgia, is a country in the Caucasus region of Eurasia with Giorgi Margvelashvili as President, Irakli Garibashvili as Prime Minister and Davit Usupashvili as Speaker of the Parliament. Located at the crossroads of Western Asia and Eastern Europe, it is bounded to the west by the Black Sea, to the north by Russia, to the south by Turkey and Armenia, and to the southeast by Azerbaijan. The capital and largest city is Tbilisi. Georgia covers a territory of 69,700 square kilometres (26,911 sq mi), and its population is just skimming 5 million. Georgia is a unitary, semi-presidential republic, with the government elected through a representative democracy.

The Republic of Georgia is a member of the Council of Europe and the GUAM Organization for Democracy and Economic Development. It contains two de facto independent regions, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, which gained limited international recognition after the 2008 Russo-Georgian War. Georgia and a major part of the international community consider the regions to be part of Georgia's sovereign territory under Russian military occupation

Location

Georgia is situated in the South Caucasus, between latitudes 41° and 44° N, and longitudes 40° and 47° E, with an area of 67,900 km2 (26,216 sq mi). It is a very mountainous country. The Likhi Range divides the country into eastern and western halves. Historically, the western portion of Georgia was known as Colchis while the eastern plateau was called Iberia. Because of a complex geographic setting, mountains also isolate the northern region of Svaneti from the rest of Georgia.

Geography

The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range forms the northern border of Georgia. The main roads through the mountain range into Russian territory lead through the Roki Tunnel between South and North Ossetia and the Darial Gorge (in the Georgian region of Khevi). The Roki Tunnel was vital for the Russian military in the 2008 South Ossetia war because it is the only direct route through the Caucasus Mountains. The southern portion of the country is bounded by the Lesser Caucasus Mountains. The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range is much higher in elevation than the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with the highest peaks rising more than 5,000 meters (16,404 ft) above sea level.

The highest mountain in Georgia is Mount Shkhara at 5,068 meters (16,627 ft), and the second highest is Mount Janga (Dzhangi-Tau) at 5,059 m (16,598 ft) above sea level. Other prominent peaks include Mount Kazbek at 5,047 m (16,558 ft), Shota Rustaveli 4,860 m (15,945 ft), Tetnuldi 4,858 m (15,938 ft), Mt. Ushba 4,700 m (15,420 ft), and Ailama 4,547 m (14,918 ft). Out of the abovementioned peaks, only Kazbek is of volcanic origin. The region between Kazbek and Shkhara (a distance of about 200 km (124 mi) along the Main Caucasus Range) is dominated by numerous glaciers. Out of the 2,100 glaciers that exist in the Caucasus today, approximately 30% are located within Georgia.

The term Lesser Caucasus Mountains is often used to describe the mountainous (highland) areas of southern Georgia that are connected to the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range by the Likhi Range. The area can be split into two separate sub-regions; the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, which run parallel to the Greater Caucasus Range, and the Southern Georgia Volcanic Highland, which lies immediately to the south of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains.

The overall region can be characterized as being made up of various, interconnected mountain ranges (largely of volcanic origin) and plateaus that do not exceed 3,400 meters (11,155 ft) in elevation. Prominent features of the area include the Javakheti Volcanic Plateau, lakes, including Tabatskuri and Paravani, as well as mineral water and hot springs. Two major rivers in Georgia are the Rioni and the Mtkvari. The Southern Georgia Volcanic Highland is a young and unstable geologic region with high seismic activity and has experienced some of the most significant earthquakes that have been recorded in Georgia.

The Krubera Cave is the deepest known cave in the world. It is located in the Arabika Massif of the Gagra Range, in Abkhazia. In 2001, a Russian–Ukrainian team had set the world depth record for a cave at 1,710 meters (5,610 ft). In 2004, the penetrated depth was increased on each of three expeditions, when a Ukrainian team crossed the 2,000-meter (6,562 ft) mark for the first time in the history of speleology. In October 2005, an unexplored part was found by the CAVEX team, further increasing the known depth of the cave. This expedition confirmed the known depth of the cave at 2,140 meters (7,021 ft).

Climate

The climate of Georgia is extremely diverse, considering the nation's small size. There are two main climatic zones, roughly separating eastern and western parts of the country. The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range plays an important role in moderating Georgia's climate and protects the nation from the penetration of colder air masses from the north. The Lesser Caucasus Mountains partially protect the region from the influence of dry and hot air masses from the south as well.

Much of western Georgia lies within the northern periphery of the humid subtropical zone with annual precipitation ranging from 1,000–4,000 mm (39.4–157.5 in). The precipitation tends to be uniformly distributed throughout the year, although the rainfall can be particularly heavy during the Autumn months. The climate of the region varies significantly with elevation and while much of the lowland areas of western Georgia are relatively warm throughout the year, the foothills and mountainous areas (including both the Greater and Lesser Caucasus Mountains) experience cool, wet summers and snowy winters (snow cover often exceeds 2 meters in many regions). Ajaria is the wettest region of the Caucasus, where the Mt. Mtirala rainforest, east of Kobuleti receives around 4,500 mm (177.2 in) of precipitation per year.

Eastern Georgia has a transitional climate from humid subtropical to continental. The region's weather patterns are influenced both by dry Caspian air masses from the east and humid Black Sea air masses from the west. The penetration of humid air masses from the Black Sea is often blocked by several mountain ranges (Likhi and Meskheti) that separate the eastern and western parts of the nation. Annual precipitation is considerably less than that of western Georgia and ranges from 400–1,600 mm (15.7–63.0 in).

The wettest periods generally occur during spring and autumn, while winter and summer months tend to be the driest. Much of eastern Georgia experiences hot summers (especially in the low-lying areas) and relatively cold winters. As in the western parts of the nation, elevation plays an important role in eastern Georgia where climatic conditions above 1,500 metres (4,921 ft) are considerably colder than in the low-lying areas. The regions that lie above 2,000 metres (6,562 ft) frequently experience frost even during the summer months.

Religion

A large majority of Georgia's population (83.9% in 2002) practices Orthodox Christianity. The Georgian Orthodox Church is one of the world's most ancient Christian Churches, and claims apostolic foundation by Saint Andrew. In the first half of the 4th century, Christianity was adopted as the state religion of Iberia (present-day Kartli, or eastern Georgia), following the missionary work of Saint Nino of Cappadocia. The Church gained autocephaly during the early Middle Ages; it was abolished during the Russian domination of the country, restored in 1917 and fully recognised by the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople in 1990.

Military

Georgia's military is organized into land, sea and air forces. They are collectively known as the Georgian Armed Forces (GAF) The mission and functions of the GAF are based on the Constitution of Georgia, Georgia’s Law on Defense and National Military Strategy, and international agreements to which Georgia is signatory. They are performed under the guidance and authority of the Ministry of Defense. Georgia contributed nearly 1,000 soldiers to the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan, making it the highest troop contributor per-capita to the mission. As of September 2011, Georgia has suffered 10 deaths and 38 injuries.

Law Enforcement

In Georgia, law enforcement is conducted and provided for by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. In recent years, the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has undergone a radical transformation, with the police having now absorbed a great many duties previously performed by dedicated independent government agencies. New duties performed by the police include border security and customs functions and contracted security provision; the latter function is performed by the dedicated 'security police'. Intelligence collecting in the interests of national security is now the remit of the Georgian Intelligence Service.

In 2005, President Mikhail Saakashvili fired the entire traffic police force (numbering around 30,000 police officers) of the Georgian National Police due to corruption. A new force was then subsequently built around new recruits. The US State Department's Bureau of International Narcotics and Law-Enforcement Affairs has provided assistance to the training efforts and continues to act in an advisory capacity.

The new Patruli force was first introduced in the summer of 2005 to replace the traffic police, a force which was accused of widespread corruption. The police introduced an 022 emergency dispatch service in 2004

Administrative Divisions

Georgia is divided into 9 regions, 1 city, and 2 autonomous republics, these in turn are subdivided into 69 districts.

Georgia contains two official autonomous regions, of which one has declared independence. In addition, another territory not officially autonomous has also declared independence. Officially autonomous within Georgia, the de facto independent region of Abkhazia declared independence in 1999. South Ossetia is officially known by Georgia as the Tskinvali region, as it views "South Ossetia" as implying political bonds with Russian North Ossetia. It was called South Ossetian Autonomous Oblast when Georgia was part of Soviet Union. Its autonomous status was revoked in 1990. De facto separate since Georgian independence, offers were made to give South Ossetia autonomy again, but in 2006 an unrecognised referendum in the area resulted in a vote for independence.

In both Abkhazia and South Ossetia large numbers of people had been given Russian passports, some through a process of forced passportization by Russian authorities. This was used as a justification for Russian invasion of Georgia during the 2008 South Ossetia war after which Russia recognised the region's independence. Georgia considers the regions as occupied by Russia.
Both republics have received minimal international recognition.

Adjara under local strongman Aslan Abashidze maintained close ties with Russia and allowed a Russian military base to be maintained in Batumi. Upon the election of Mikheil Saakashvili in 2004 tensions rose between Adjara and the Georgian government, leading to demonstrations in Adjara and the resignation and flight of Abashidze. The region retains a minimal level of autonomy.

As the week ended it became clear that the area of Canada know as Quebec was a tinder box waiting to explode with the election two weeks away this seemed a very bad time.

In Montreal massive protests calling for Quebec Separation began to take place but this seemed just like the 99% protests unorganized and doomed to fail. But behind the scene it became a breeding ground for French Radicalists waiting to pounce.

The Quebec government response was expected a crackdown by local police using tear gas and non lethal weaponry. But one elderly officer mistaking his pistol for his taser shot an aggressive protester in the heart killing him instantly this turned the protests into province wide riots causing large scale damage to local buinsesses and government property.

The Prime Minister however refused to act knowing his term was over. This gave the riots a chance to grow very large and invelope most of Quebec with the police massivly outnumbered the Quebec provincial government declared martial law and ordered a curfew with threats of jail for those who didn't follow. It seemed this crisis was far from over.

Chancellor Gerard Atlantics was concerned with the dispute in the West Philippine Sea, despite no German territory being near it. He felt that the Philippine Government were right in saying that what they claim in that area is theirs. So, he decided to invite the leader of the Philippines to Berlin.

To President Viktor Salazar,
Greetings! I am Chancellor Gerard Atlantics of the Federal Republic of Germany. I would like to tell you that I have been monitoring the situation in the West Philippine Sea, and I support the Philippines and its claims. I am very interested to talk about it more, therefore I would like to invite you to Germany's capital, Berlin for a state visit. Thank you for your time!
Best regards, Chancellor Gerard Atlantics

Chancellor,

I am President Vladimir Reznov of the Russian Federation, and I have noticed that Germany is seeking to aid the Phillippines in the current crisis and its complicated relationship with China. Even though we are reaching out to China to begin a partnership, Russia is trying to centralize itself above all. I would like to join you in Berlin for the talks and negotiations with Philippine leaders.

It takes greater powers in the world to resolve situations like this, and I hope we can. As well, I hope this effort will bring Russia and Germany closer together deity our long, complicated history.

From: Premier of China Li Shanzhi of the People's Republic of China
[hr]

Greetings,

The history of Russia and China is one of great importance, and controversy. The past is however the past, and as such China is willing to further our ties in order to ensure the mutual benefit of the involved sovereign entities. A partnership with the Russian Federation is excellently aligned with the interests of the People's Republic of Vhina, and as such we would be honoured to hold a diplomatic summit between our nations in the honored capital of the People's Republic, Beijing.

In addition, we note the dispute of the ownership of various territories and islands in the South China Sea. The Republic of the Phillipines claims territory belonging rightfully to the People's Republic of China, and we would greatly appreciate any assistance on this matter. In addition, our ideological similarities in the past give us a unique relationship that I believe and hope can be furthered in this modern time.

The meeting was set, and President Reznov set up an agenda of things he wanted to accomplish during the summit in Beijing. On his list was:

-An official trade partnership established between the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation.
-A military partnership between Russia and China.
-A partnership in stabilizing hot issues across the Eurasian region, especially concerning Iranian nuclear aspirations and and South East Asian conflicts.

If these three goals could be accomplished, President Reznov believed it set the stage for a new era of cooperation between the two great nations. A few hours later, Reznov's plane touched down in Beijing for the summit. An adviser came and got him as he was straightening his tie. Reznov walked through the plane to the door where he stepped out and set his eyes on the vast, economic hub that was Beijing.

Beijing, People's Republic of China

Premier of China Li Shanzhi looked yet again at his agenda for the summit. He quickly ordered the issues into an order of priority and crossed out some of the ones that were impossible, or just plain idiotic, before stepping outside to greet the President of the Russian Federation, glancing briefly at the notes he had made as he walked.

-To further the diplomatic and economic relations of China and Russia.
-To attempt to acquire a form of military partnership or alliance with the Russian Federation.

Li Shanzhi then stepped fully outside, towards Reznov. Finally within range to speak, the Premier of China began his small speech of welcome:

"Welcome, honoured President Vladimir Reznov of the Russian Federation, to Beijing, China. The hub of the nation's economy, diplomacy, politics, military, and technology. This is the very heart of the People's Republic of China. Now, shall we proceed to our summit?"

Pro-Georgian protests in South Ossetia and Abkhazia Met With Force

Peaceful protests in the break-away republics of Abkhazia and South Osseita have not only been met with local hostility, but also acts of deliberate force against the pro-Georgian protestors by the Abkhazian and South Ossetian. In Sokhumi, the de facto capital of the Republic of Abkhazia, a 1000 man pro-Georgian march was ambushed by pro-Independence protestors using molotov's and small arms against them, 77 died in the attack. But the pro-Georgian protestors bravely marched on and appraoched the Abkhazian government building, it is there where Russian-made APC's of the Abkhazian Military opened fire against the un-armed crowd, killing 123 and wounding 51. In South Ossetia, the HQ of the Georgian Ossetic Liberation Movement, or the GOLM, was attacked by armed pro-South Ossetian gunmen who eventually burned the building down, killing 19 and wounding 11. The South Ossetic Military have also harrassed various Georgian citizens attempting to travel to and from South Ossetia.

President Irakli Garibashvili has declared this not only a deliberate act of war, but an act of provocation to ensure that the Georgian Military launches offensives against South Ossetia and Abkhazia which will be countered by an almost certain counter-strike by the Russian Federation whom occupy South Ossetia and Abkhazia, henceforth President Irakli Garibashvili has requested that the Russian Federation leave South Ossetia and Abkhazia and de-recognize their independnece which would de jure place the regions back under control of the Republic of Georgia.

Meanwhile, the Georgian Military has been moved into DEFCON 3 and with more of its government funding going to it and mandatory conscription, and its lesser dependency on the Russian Federation and Ukraine for arms, the Georgian Military was hugely improving and soon it would be ready to fight. If war did break out with Rusisa, which President Irakli Garibashvili didnt want. he would use Georgia's NATO membership as an advantage.

To whom this may concern,

Once again, with military escalation between South Ossetia, Abkhazia and the Republic of Georiga, we are asking that the Russian Federation de-militarize all bases within the occupied South Ossetia and Abkhazia regions and leave at once. We can not stress enough that these regions are Georgian sovereign territory under Russian Military occupation and the government and military of South Ossetia and Abkhazia are using this as an excuse to play god over the situation, knowing that if the Georgian Military responds you will support them in an instant. But this is the last time we ask you, as we will not let your occupation of South Ossetia and Abkhazia get in the way of maintaing law and order in the regions and if Russian Forces are playing an active part in support South Ossetia and Abkhazia during war-times, then we will have no other choice but to target Russian Forces.

Think about your next actions very carefuly.

Yours Faithfully,
Tamar Beruchashvili

You are very quick to jump to conclusions my neighbor. What you're thinking of are the disastrous and careless decisions of the Putin/Medvedev regimes. By order of President Vladimir Reznov, I am obligated to inform you that Russia not only doesn't care for South Ossetia or Abkhazia, we have yet to get around to withdrawing our recognition of those illegal states and pulling our military installations out.

We are pursuing a centralist policy, and we would like to keep it that way. As such, we will support you in any way necessary in bringing down those illegal states and cleansing the Russian reputation of their existence. We only ask that you do not harm the soldiers we have stationed there before we can get them out.

Regards,
Prime Minister Sergei Lavrov

Regards,
President Vladimir Reznov

Federal Republic of Germany

To President Vladimir Reznov,

Greetings! I have read the telegram that you recently sent me, and I have decided that it would indeed be a pleasure if you could come to Berlin to discuss this issue with my counterpart from The Philippines. However, I will have to wait for President Salazar's response on whether or not he will be coming to Germany. Thank you for your support, and may our nations' relations further improve, and strengthen!

Best regards, Chancellor Gerard Atlantics of The Federal Republic of Germany

From Gori, the 5th Infantry Brigade has deployed the 51st Light Infantry Battalion and the 52nd Light Infantry Battalion totalling at 6000 men, which have begun troop movement towards the border with South Ossetia. The 4th Mechanized Infantry Brigade from Viziani have also deployed the 43rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion to support the 51st Light Infantry Battalion and the 52nd Light Infantry Battalion, this brings the total assault force to 9,000. The 5th Air Group operating out of Gori Air Base have launched the 51st Fighter Regiment and the 53rd Attack Regiment, and earlier today the 53rd Attack Regiment carried out airstrikes on South Ossetian military bases. Forces on the South Ossetian front are also recieving support from the 1st Artillery Brigade.

To whom this may concern,

We ask that the withdrawal of Russian Forces from South Ossetia and Abkhazia, and the de-recognition of the declaration of the independence of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of Abkhazia happens as fast as you can possibly make it to avoid Russia being caught in the cross fire. Once complete, our President has announced his interests in re-opening the Georgian-Russian border and re-opening a railway line that links Russia and Georgia through what (will soon not exist) Abkhazia as well as re-opening tunnels on the Georgian-Russian that leads under the Caucasus Mountains, and even re-activating trade links between Georiga and Russia via the Black Sea.

In spite of the fact President Reznov was in Beijing, and Lavrov didn't want to interrupt him with a phone call, the Prime Minister ordered the immediate withdraw of Russian forces in South Ossetia and Abkhazia, as well as dismantling of the Russian bases in the two breakaway states. In a public statement to the world, the Prime Minister said,

"Russia is perusing a new age of centralization and cooperation with both the West and the East. In this case, Russia is simply trying to reestablish military and economic relations with the Republic of Georgia. The war in 2008 was an embarassment we are trying to cleanse from the face of Russia as much as possible. What we did cannot be denied, but we can make up for it little by little by showing the Georgians they don't have a power in their back yard that seeks to annex, control, or destroy them. We hope relations with Georgia will improve and Russia can repair its international reputation.

Meanwhile in the North Caucuses, the Russian military carried out a massive exercise with a new tank that had been developed. The Armata Tank, which had been in development since 2012, showed off its firepower to the world. One of the newest and most well equipped tanks in the world, the Armata is the perfect blend of Eastern and Western technology. The tank has heavy armor and massive guns, however lacks in the speed element. This is made up for though, by the unprecedented firepower of the new battle tank. This exercise was to show the world Russia was still relevant, and was a useful nation to have as an ally.

We would very much so like to reopen trade as well as economic and military cooperation. Russia and Georgia have a complex history, but we were together in the Soviet Union, we both fought the Ottomans and the Mongols as well. This shows our nations have a history of a common goal, one that was never realized. We should work together to bring all the struggling nations of the Caucuses and Central Asia to the glory they deserve.

May our nations see a bright future together.

Prime Minister Sergei Lavrov

Tajikistan once part of the glorious country that was once the Soviet Union is now a shattered country with no infrastructure, no education, and bordering the dangerous Taliban to Northern Afghanistan. However, inside Tajikistan brews the fire of ambition, the people although poor work hard under the guidance of Emon Ram to revive the greatness that th Soviet Union once brought them.
The Tajik economy has finally recovered from the devastating civil war that plagued the country since independence, Tajikistan receives more than 30 percent of its GDP from Russia giving the 2 nations extremely close relations. The Tajik objectives are many, like the problems that plague it. Its first objective would be an attempt to annex Northern Afghanistan in the name of liberation from the Taliban. The weak Afghan government will not have the international influence to blame the problems on Tajikistan, however the Tajik army is not capable of destroying the Taliban being extremely weak and outdated. Tajikistan will have to build up their military with Russia for any hopes of that succeeding. The 2 nations of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan are very close perhaps an alliance would be in order.
Tajikistan's ultimate goal is to create a large federation made up of all the "stans" however that goal is a long way ahead.

In a summit that was held in 2013, Russian, Kazakh, and Belorussian leaders met to discuss the possibility of an economic union similar to that of the European Union. After much dispute, it was finally decided that one would be founded by those three nations. After Putin left office however, another summit was held to discuss changes. President Vladimir Reznov of the Russian Federation spearheaded the idea that the three nations shouldn't choose between East or West, but should instead create the economic union to be centralist. Thus, the Eurasian Union was founded.

Image
The Eurasian Union

The Eurasian Union is an economic, cooperative organization made up of nations in both Europe and Asia, hence the name. The Eurasian Union follows a valued policy of centralism, embracing both Western and Eastern ideas, as well as building relations with nations from both hemispheres. Similar to the EU, the Eurasian Union is made up of sovereign states that seek to promote economic and industrial growth through cooperation and mutuality.

Headquartered in Minsk, the Eurasian Union seeks to bring about mutual benefits to all its members, the nations that signed the Eurasian Union proposal, Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. The EAU (abbreviation to avoid confusion with European Union) also links all its member economically. Once a member, a nation must adopt the Eural as its national currency because it is the Eurasian Union currency. Similar to the situation with the EU, the Eural as a universal currency for all Eural-Zone members and it links them economically making business easier and spurring growth in all nations in the EAU.

Any nation that seeks to become a member of the EAU may do so by simply signing the Constitution, however there are some sacrafices to enjoy all the benefits that come from being a member states.

To Join the EAU, a Nation Must:

-Sign the Constitution.
-Elect a delegate to represent their nation in EAU summits and meetings.
-Pay 0.6% tax from their GDP to allow the EAU to set up agencies and allow it to operate as it should.
-Agree to spend a sufficient percentage of their GDP to have a modernized military.
-Abstain from conflict with any other EAU members.
-Vote in EAU resolutions.
-Have a sustainable economy that is trustworthy and will not default.

Benefits of Joining the EAU Are:

-Being linked into one strong, universal currency.
-Guaranteed military protection from other EAU members.
-Welcome to economic assistance form other EAU members.
-The ability to vote on resolutions that will help the people of their particular nation.
-Being provided and the opportunity to provide humanitarian assistance if necessary.
-Intelligence and military information is shared among member states.
-The freedom of citizens of member states to live, work, or retire in any other member state they choose.
