According to the research that our Ministry of Health has compiled, HIV is definitely a serious issue amongst the MSM community. However, the debate has risen in our nation that MSM are not the only people who have HIV, and is discriminatory to solely exclude MSM from donating blood.

Which brings us to the question, what is your nation's position on allowing men who have sex with men (MSM) to donate blood for organ transplants?

It takes up to 3 months for a person to test positive for HIV using the most common(and affordable) antibodies test.

Given that roughly 3.8 % of the population is LGBT* and maybe half of that are MSM a MSM restriction has a minimal effect on blood supply. Also the high numbers of msm with HIV who do not realize they have HIV is cause for concern.**

Actually, suspecting the same, I went looking. This one does not appear at a brief glance to be a previous DOS user, Archeuland or otherwise. A quick look at their posting style doesn't promise a particularly long or fruitful NSG career though.

MSM blood donation is fine. They already test blood for HIV. Even so, a failure in the system is extremely rare.
