The inside of the state house was bustling with busy servants and staff, The kitchen was alive and working like a well oiled machine. This was the new countries first impression on the rest of the world and the staff knew. The floors were polished and the windows cleaned, everything top to bottom was spotless and ready for the arrival of dignitaries, diplomates, and leaders from all over the New World.

Just across the city at Fredrick military base it was equally as intense. Entire Divisions and Squadrons were practicing for a display of military might for the leaders to come. They practiced their D&C till it was perfect to the point and executed flawlessly, They did this until they felt it was correct... and then they did it some more. Along with the formal and standard D&C there were some less formal and more tactical demonstrations being practices across the base, These were practiced in secret and will be unveiled during the parade.

President Neilsen readied himself with the help of highly trusted servants, looking his best and entertaining his soon to arrive guests were at the top of his priorities at the moment. Although no matter how crazy all this was he still wished his wife and children were still here to see this day.

The gates of the State House opened and a fleet of vehicles left the perimeter and headed towards to the Airport to pick up the guests, The entire Cpt. Houser International Airport was shut down for this momentous occasion. Security was at its highest and large men in black suits were everywhere. These men were the best of the best, beyond Special Forces, their own entity which guarded the President and any other high value official that came to the country.

The motorcade staged itself outside the Airport and waited for the first of the guests to arrive.

Cpt. Houser International Airport

The luxurious plane had just crested over the horizon, coming into range of the airport's airspace. The pilots requested permission to land, putting the plane on course and slowly descending. They were ever careful not to disturb the passengers.

King Stanis IV of House Andropov sat in a black recliner, the lights inside of the plane dimmed ever so lightly to his satisfaction. He held a book in his hands, a fictional tale based in Albuaria. It took a while to understand it, but he figured that learning some of the culture wouldn't hurt. He laughed at the protagonist's antics as the door to his room opened, his son and heir to the throne walking in. Stanis looked up startled, then smiled upon seeing Levin, laying the book down onto a desk.

"Sorry father, I should've knocked." He glanced around the room, noticing that his mother was absent. "Where's mother?"

Stanis stood up, shaking his head. "No worries Levin." He stretched, looking out of the plane's window and seeing some of the ground below. "Your mother," he began, walking over to the wardrobe and opening it, still dressed in his nightwear. "She's talking to the girls.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the plane, Queen Anastasia had gathered her two daughters, Anna and Valeryia, both of them twins. The queen walked around the room, finishing her own makeup while the two other women sat and talked amicably, watching their mother's antics. Neither of them had much experience with formal meetings, being that they weren't expected to inherit the crown. However, Anastasia insisted that the entire family would travel to the dinner, and after some considerable arguing, Stanis consented. A royal guard knocked on the door and entered the room, bowing to the three royals.

"Your Majesties, we have just arrived at the airport."

The royal family gathered in the center of the plane, being escorted by their guards to the door. Stanis now wore his familiar suit, along with Levin who wore business attire similar to his father. The women wore dresses, the queen's being more elaborate and fanciful than the others out of her own personal choice. They exited from the plane, Stanis leading the group down and reaching the tarmac. The guards retreated inside of the plane, trusting that the Albuarian soldiers could escort them well enough.

The Albuarian Secret Service had a red carpet rolled out for the Emperor awaiting his arrival. Guards were posted everywhere and counter-snipers at every elevated location, There would be no risk too small or ignored.

Three agents walked up to the emperor and bowed out of respect, they then stood upright again and extended a hand to show the direction in which to follow the guards into the Airport. At that moment the three guards surrounded the family, two in the back and one in the front to lead the group.

"Always with the military escorts. They never let us walk alone."

"Are you implying dear," he raised a brow, "that you would rather walk around alone in a foreign country?"

"Well, no... but it's always so dull."

"Is that why you waste all my money on making my royal guards look, what was it, 'exquisite'?" He laughed, his light jab veiled as a truthful statement regarding their relationship. While Stanis was always busy with diplomacy and war and how his family was represented, Anastasia spent her time enjoying her position in society.

They reached the doors of the Airport and two other guards opened the doors for them to walk through. Once the entire party entered through the doors they shut behind them. Another guard came out from behind a corner and approached the party, He bowed and help up a silver plater with badges on top of it. He stayed there until the Royal Family claimed each of their respective badges, The badges were encrusted with the finest golds and silvers from the Albuarian mines. Once they did so he stood back up and walked away.

The three guards continued to lead them through the airport and out another set of doors leading to the outside, again opened by another pair of guards.

Outside there were 4 black SUV's and 2 black sedans, one in the front and one in the rear to escort the motorcade. The SUV's just had drivers while the sedans were filled with heavily armed men in black suits.

The three guards then split off, one went to each of the SUV's and opened the doors for the family while the other extended a hand pointing to the vehicles signing them to board them.

Inside the vehicles there were snacks and drinks for the children, along with some of Albuaria's finest wine and horderves.

As Aleksander's ornately dressed guards quickly made their way down the stairs of the massive Aeurian plane, he stepped out onto the platform, momentarily blinded by the sun.

"Fils de pute, c'est étouffante!" he swore, the heat of the country smacking the Emperor like an enraged ex-lover. He quickly reached into his coat and fetched his sunglasses, putting them on quickly.
As he began descending the stairs, he lit a cigarette and looked at the scene before him. He could not help but be impressed, the Albuarians certainly knew how to throw a welcoming party.

As the Aeurian Imperial Guardsmen relayed their orders to not leave Aleksander's side - under any circumstance - to the Albuarian Secret Service, they simply nodded, their eyes hidden behind dark sunglasses.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Aleksander stepped off of the staircase and onto a red carpet stretching from the plane to the airport. "A nice touch." he thought to himself with a small smile as he began the long walk to the terminal. Aleksander wore a simple, white linen suit: a stark difference to his usually regal and heavily adorned attire. The suit however allowed considerable airflow to keep the Emperor cool. After all, this was a country whose heat had a worldwide reputation - wearing a heavy uniform would surely suffocate him.

After a few steps, a small group of Albuarian Secret Servicemen approached the Aeurian Emperor, surrounded by his stone faced guards.

The Albuarian Secret Service guided the Emperor along with his guards down the red carpet and into the Airport. When the group reached the doors they were swung open two other Secret Service members so they group could walk through. As the doors closed behind them two other Secret Service members came and nodded at the group, upon doing that one of the Secret Service members touched his ear and radioed ahead to the motorcade to start their engines before they reached the door.

Upon reaching the doors they swung open and there outside sat two SUV's and two sedans, both shining black. The group surrounding the Emperor split apart and opened the door on the second SUV, laying on the seat of the SUV was a badge encrusted in the finest golds and silvers from the Albuarian mines. There were also h'orderves and some of the finest wines ready for the Emperor to enjoy.

"How about this, Charlie? Not bad, not bad at all!" laughed Aleksander as he sipped on a glass of white wine as he fiddled with his badge. His faithful, ever-present and always agreeable aide-de-camp, Sir Charles, sat opposite him in the SUV.

"Indeed, Sir." Sir Charles began thoughtfully, "I must admit, I was not expecting such a..." he trailed off trying to find the right word.

"Stately welcome?" asked Aleksander with a laugh as he ate some kind of seasoned cheese on a cracker, which he found most agreeable.

"Yes, stately is the word. I admit, I was expecting something more..." Charles again trailed off.

"Third world?" asked Aleksander with another sip of his wine. "I'm surprised at you Charlie! Such words don't often pass through those sweet lips of yours." he said with a playful laugh as he leaned forward and pinched his aide's cheek.

Sir Charles cleared his throat and looked out the window of the SUV as his Emperor's hand left his face, fearful of blushing. "Is that the reason why Her Majesty, nor your family, is on this trip?" he asked meekly as he returned his gaze to Aleksander.

The Emperor simply smiled wryly as he sipped his wine. "Oh Charlie," he began with a laugh. "You, of all people, should know very well my marriage is a political one." he said earnestly as he crossed his legs, enjoying the sights of Albuaria roll by as he looked out the window. "Besides, Luna hates the heat - I'm sure she's perfectly happy to stay by the sea back in Trepial."

"I just don't know what other nations will think since you never bring her along with you to these functions." said Sir Charles, worry in his voice.

"I haven't been bringing her for decades, it's not unusual - not for me anyway. I'm an interesting enough character to keep the politicians and tabloids entertained." Aleksander quickly replied. He paused a moment, starring into his aide's eyes. "Fearful of being exposed, are we Charlie?" the Emperor asked with a hearty laugh before continuing. "I think the heat is getting to you, you're acting most unlike yourself. What happened to the boy who would walk around the palace stark naked?"

Sir Charles' face reddened. "Your Majesty, please!" he pleaded, quite uncomfortable with the sudden subject of their discussion. "This is going to be a long, long car ride." he said as he shook his head.

Emperor Aleksander simply giggled like a child, enjoying his aide's discomfort before sipping his wine again. "Indeed." he said simply.

As the motorcade started to merge onto the interstate, it started picking up tremendous speed, All interstate systems in Albuaria have no speed limit and are only regulated when there is bad weather, Because of this times are drastically reduced between major destinations and Highway crashes and accidents are at and all time low. As the motorcade continued to drive out the window it was very obvious that Albuaria was very green when it came to technologies and the over all color of the landscape. Albuaria had some of the lowest pollution levels in the entire region and because of that the environment was very lush and beautiful! Buildings were outfitted with solar panels and you could easily see wind farms out in the distance of the country side.

As the motorcade started to reach the city it merged into the right hand lane and began to slow down. In perfect formation all the vehicles merged at the same time, leaving no gaps and no room for error.

After 30 or so minutes the motorcade entered the city and started to head down the main street. Thousands of people lined the city sidewalks cheering and celebrating the State Feast, This was a very big moment for the country of Albuaria and the fiercely loyal citizens supported it in anyway they could. The motorcade took a left turn and pulled into the driveway of the State House, Massive gates opened up and let the motorcade in. It drove up the driveway and came to a halt at the steps of the State House.

Secret Service members came and opened up the doors of the SUV, They then bowed and extended and arm to show the State House with President Neilsen standing at the top of the stairs. Leading up the stairs and all the way to the door was a black carpet.

Aleksander admired the Alubarian countryside as it rolled by. Their green technology earning them respect in his mind. During his 3 decades as Emperor, he too worked tirelessly to make Aeuria an oil-free and green powered nation as well as reduce pollution at the expense of industry - which caused his family significant financial loss. Of course, this "significant" loss was but a drop of water in an ocean of wealth, the Fairfax family still boasted a fortune in the hundreds of billions.

As the SUV gently coasted to a stop in front of the State House, Aleksander reveled at the grand building. Aeuria was not home to many buildings of modern architecture, instead preferring to use centuries-old styles. As the door opened, Sir Charles all but jumped out of the SUV, anxious to leave the needlessly flirtatious company of his Emperor. Aleksander slowly followed suit, stopping a moment - still seated but his feet hanging out of the open door - to light another cigarette. As he took a deep inhale he stepped onto the black carpet, his guards taking their positions around him, Sir Charles closely by his side.

A warm smile spread across his face as he locked eyes with the Albuarian President. "Your Excellency, it's a pleasure." Aleksander said with a nod, delighted to have been payed the respect of a bow. "Quite a building!" he exclaimed with a wonder as he looked up at the imposing glass structure. "The only buildings like it in Aeuria are in the financial districts - skyscrapers and whatnot." He said, taking another drag of his cigarette.

King Stanis climbed out of the SUV behind them, leading out his fair Queen and gathering the three children. He looked at Aleksander, about to shout something when Anastasia walked beside him, gently grasping his arm.

"Well Stanis, the state house doesn't look bad."

"And? What did you expect my dearest Queen?"

"A shed. Or something worse. I must say," she looked around, admiring the state house with a playfully large grin. "These Albuarians know how to take care of their land. Did you see the windfarms?!"

"For Christ's sake Anastasia! I've already invested in nuclear power, what more do you want?"

"Wind farms!" She laughed, turning around to face her two daughters. "Try to behave yourselves, else I never hear the end of your father."

"I heard that dear!" Stanis shook his head, walking away from his family and coming into range of President Neilsen and Emperor Aleksander.

President Neilsen started to walk down the stairs slowly, sort of bouncing with each step. "Yes! haha we take great pride in out building, These buildings are outfitted perfectly for the maximum amount of natural light during the day and to keep a stable cool temperature inside at the lowest energy possible. We worked tirelessly on them for years before we got the design just right. Now they're almost a standard."

By the time President Neilsen finished his statement he reached the Emperor and extended his right hand for a hand shake, He had to use his right hand since the other one was holding a glass of Whiskey on the rocks.

"How was your flight Emperor? Good I hope, And the drive here, was it to your liking?"

From the doors of the State House an army of staff members flood out and head to the SUVs to get the luggage of the VIPs and bring it to their respective rooms. The rooms for the VIPs are grand and beautiful, Modern fixtures and aesthetics with the combinations of white carpet made of silk and white sheets on the bed left you feeling like you were in a cloud. The temperature was at a body relaxing 69 degrees which stimulated brain activity and thinking. Each room came with its own kitchen fully stocked with all the foods and delicacies of the occupants nation. The Alburians spared no expense!

President Neilsen waited for King Stanis to reach him and the emperor.

Stanis reached the group, giving a polite gestural bow to the President. "It is a pleasure to meet you, President Neilsen. Your country is rather remarkable this time of year, and is impressive still." He turned, looking at Aleksander. "The same to you Aleksander, I hope you've been well since we last met?"

"Oh yes," he turned back, thinking. "Uh, you can take the family to the quarters. I'll find them later... couldn't overlook Anastasia." He chuckled, clearing his throat. "The trip was indeed pleasant. I've see you've worked hard on keeping green energy afloat. Wish I could say the same for Mascargo."

"Yes green energy is a very important thing to us here in Albuaria, We must take care of these lands like they have taken care of us." President Neilsen gestures to walk around the state house and begins to walk with King Stanis, "I look forward to these next few days with you and the other leaders, It will give me a moment to see how ill be working with my future allies. Along with your input on issues. I see that you come from a very successful nation and one with a vast and amazing history. We both, it seems, have a warrior culture, This can either be a great benefit for each other as an alliance or it can be a great harm for each other. Do you not agree your excellence?"

Albuaria wrote:President Neilsen started to walk down the stairs slowly, sort of bouncing with each step. "Yes! haha we take great pride in out building, These buildings are outfitted perfectly for the maximum amount of natural light during the day and to keep a stable cool temperature inside at the lowest energy possible.

Aleksander looked down at the extended hand and after a moment's hesitation shook it. He understood countries without a monarchy weren't always privy to royal etiquette but Aleksander was a very tolerable man, wholly understanding the President's ignorance.

"The flight was pleasant enough," he began with a smile. "And the drive...was interesting." he said, recalling his conversation with his aide. "Your countryside was most impressive. It's good to see other nations taking care of this planet we share!" he said with a laugh. "Especially ones so close to my Empire!"

Aleksander nodded to King Stanis as he approached. "I've been quite well Stanis, thank you. I hope the same is true for you. It's wondrous to see a familiar face in a foreign land." he said with a light laugh.

"I'll see you gentlemen inside, I'd like to get settled into my quarters before dinner." Aleksander said with a nod to the two leaders before he, his escort of guards, and Sir Charles walked after a group of servants carrying the Aeurians' luggage.

"We both do have a history of war and the culture to back it. I see no reason for us to fight. Warriors make friends just as easily as foes. However, an alliance or pact between us is more than just mere friendship, something that would need to be discussed in great detail."

"Of course your excellence, I was just brining it up here, I fully expect that well have a discussion on this in great detail later on. As of right now let us celebrate and cultivate a friendship between our great nations."

President Neilsen pulls out two hand rolled high dollar cigars from his jacket pocket and hands one of them to the King.

"Do you smoke?"

The jet cruised through the sky, the pilots were personally chosen by the King. Queen Louise was in the back of the plane, and King Georges sat writing as the pilots asked for permission to land, Prince Edwardus and Princess Amanda, walked to their father's door and knocked.

Georges put down his pen and diary and answered the door, "If you want Mother, she's in the back." he said pointing to the back. "You looked dressed well farther, but I do wonder. What does mother look like? YOU have a good taste of women" Edwardus teased his father.
Georges smiled, and then shook his head. "One day you'll know, trust me. You will fall in love, but I will not talk about this rather light subject. I also need to get my formal clothes on." Georges replied.

Stanis stopped and looked at him. "Well, I do on occasion." He laughed, looking at the entrance to the state house. "I suppose this is an occasion!" Stanis took the cigarrete, sliding it into his mouth and pulling out a personal lighter he always carried. He didn't smoke often, but he wasn't about to avoid a gesture of kindness.

President Neilsen lighted his cigar as well and continued to walk with the king, "Everything the people use, consume, or use for production, is used within the boarders of the country. We are almost completely independent from foreign inport, With a few exceptions of course! haha." President Neilsen holds up the cigar and gives a small laugh.

"Well I must be going because I must attend to the staff, I must oversee that everything is performed correctly at the moment. I will be speaking with you later."

President Neilsen then heads to the State House doors and walks in heading to his presidential office.

Stanis watched as the president walked away, bringing a hand to his chin and turning his back to the state house. He took a long drag from his cigarrette, thinking about what the president said. "Self sufficiency?" He pondered privately, looking back at the building. "How peculier. Why would an isolationist country want to open up now, of all times?" He turned back his attention as his wife walked up, escorted by some Albuarian guards who were taking the family to their rooms. He raised a brow, giving a small smile.

"How was talking my dearest Stanis?" Anastasia asked sarcastically, her hands clasped together.

"The dinner hasn't even started yet Anastasia."

"True, but I can already see the scheming thoughts behind your eyes. We're going to our room, take care dear." Anastasia chuckled to herself, allowing the guards to continue escorting her away and inside of the state house.
