Drakesing High: When Love Is Not What It Seems, (IC)

(Now i will be honest this post is from the Original Drakesing, the very first, but i thought it was a good fit for the beginning. ^^)


Kaez'rii'tia descended slowly, she was still angry with her father, but she was sure that he wouldn't find her here. With flurry of sudden energy, she began to manifest into a physical form: Female, 17. short, straight, Orangish hair. pale pink skin, slender limbs, small body, 5''6....blue eyes, natural beauty....

Kaez'rii'tia looked around her, she was in an alley, no one around.....which was probably good, because she was entirely nude. This physical body should be good enough, she thought, Even the demons would think me a human. Suddenly she blushed, as she just remembered her nudity, and with wave of her hand, clothes began to appear, stitching themselves stitch by stitch until she appeared fully clothed. She assessed her surroundings once again. A school....she walked out of the alley and looked at the name on the entrance....Drakesing High.... She smirked, the perfect cover, with a blink she manipulated the realm around her and signed herself into the school data frame as a new student.....I need a name, if i use my real one, i will never pass for human.....Kate...I shall be known as Kate... She made it so, then with another wave of her hand, she changed her clothes to the appropriate school uniform, and also created a backpack with all the necessary school supplies. However, school didn't start for two more hours, so with that, she decided to wait patiently on the steps.

While she waited, she checked her handy work, making sure she didn't mess anything up, like her clothing, or if she forgot to give herself a belly button, or if her registration was convincing....

In truth, she was excited, her father would never have approved of this, but what did she care? She could finally learn all about the mortal concepts of love, learning, and all those other strange rituals that mortals constantly did to one another. She was sure she was going to enjoy High School.....

Jake moved through the streets of his home city on a Mag Rider, basically a hover bike. He weaved through traffic whilst being pursued Eldritch warriors on similar vehicles "Die infidel!" Jake heard behind him as he saw an energy missile fly past him and hit an oncoming transport vehicle causing it to explode "What are you doing!? We need him alive! Drazet demands his blood!" With that, Jake conjured an Eldritch Smig (SMG) to his hands and fired behind him at the pursuers, hitting one of their Mag Riders in the targeting optics "Drazet damn it! He took out my optics! I can't get a lock on him!" This gave Jake chance to quickly turn a corner and head towards the Space Port.

Still being pursued, Jake quickly conjured a swarm of buzzers, small flying creatures that strip living creatures down to the bone in order to feed. He sped up as the buzzers distracted the Eldritch Warriors eventually getting to the Space Port. He got off his Mag Rider and sprinted towards a Tormentor Gunship and climbed in, turning it on and lifting off as the Eldritch Warriors just appeared "Ve'ael, you will cease and desist now!" One warrior relayed to Jake in a rather angry way before Jake turned the gunship on them "Eat my arse" Jake simply said before firing at them with the gunship's nose cannon, taking a couple of them out before he flew outside the planets atmosphere. Within moments a naval cruiser had been deployed to follow him until he activated his Slip-Space generator and disappeared, reappearing in orbit of Earth where he lost control of the Gunship as it plummeted into Drakesing Forest.

Today

Jake walked out of his apartment with a bored expression on his face before going into the garage. Every day he wonders who took his ship after he crash landed. He only left it for 7 hours and from what he knew of Earth technology it would have taken a lot of heavy lifting equipment and time to move a thing like that without anyone noticing. It bothered him but not as much as trying to fit in bothered him. He adapted rather quickly to Earth society but he would occasionally slip up and do something that normal people wouldn't do. He sighed before getting onto his motorcycle, placing his helmet on his head and starting it up before heading out to school.

Elli

Elli's alarm clock went off, causing her to reach an arm out of bed and slam her fist down on it, causing it to make a high pitch electronic squeaking noise before stopping completely. That was another alarm clock broken. She sat up in her bed and yawned before crawling out of bed to go in the shower. She was late, but she didn't care. It didn't matter how late she was if she was already late to get out of bed.

Kinara sighed as she woke up, her body aching ever so slightly as she moved. Morning tiredness sapped the speed from her movements, though as she began to move around she felt that begin to wear off. After a moment she walked out the door to her room, moving to the bathroom for a quick shower, noticing Isha seemed to have already woken up and left. She kept the water on room tempreture, her resistance to both heat and frost strong to the point where she could barely feel tempreture changes. In fact, she tended to feel cold most of the time no matter what, and those around her did as well, the aura of frost surrounding her would give people the chills.

After her shower she got dressed and placed some bread in her toaster, getting dressed as she waited for it to finish. She came down in time, grabbing a bag of books and the toast, munching on it as she left, strolling at a fairly leisurely pace, reaching school and finding she was still early. She noticed a girl sitting on the steps. She had never seen her before and would have ignored her had some curiosity not prompted her to walk up to her.

"You new?" She asked casually, though she kept a neutral expression and level tone.

Kate had just finished reassurring herself that she did indeed have a belly button when she heard a voice greet her, Kate looked up to see a girl standing above her. "U-Um...yeah! i'm new...i am still trying to memorize my schedule...." though truth be told she was just now making her schedule, but perhaps she could get insight on what were good classes..."So...oh yeah! my name's Kate! did i do that right....yes i'm sure... umm...are any of the classes good?" Kate blushed nervously with an awkward smile. She only hoped she had not blown her cover so soon....

Aiden


Aiden stretched a bit as he finished the meeting and began walking to school. today was a fairly good day, though he had devoured Isaac for failing him for the last time. The Blood Sparrows were a serious organization, failure was not a word that the leader liked to hear...so it was simply easier if he dealt with it himself...but he would eventually have to report it... Aiden sighed, "Gave Isaac three chances, and he still couldnt follow orders. i guess that settles breakfast...."

Kinara raised an eyebrow, pausing for a second. This person was strange, though she seemed nice at least, which was why Kinara was reluctant to be rude and just leave her once she sated her curiosity. Plus she seemed nervous, Kinara flashing back to her own first day. "Depends what you like." She replied to the question about classes, shrugging slightly. "Though Gym can be a little... hazardous if you have no way to defend yourself." She said. She hadn't had a decent conversation in a while, so it was nice to talk to someone who wasn't and Ice Demon and didn't hate her.

Kate wasn't sure what she meant by hazardous, of course mortals were strange.....Kate was sure she could handle it, and her curiosity of this "gym class" made her already decide to add that to her schedule. "Oh, i can defend myself..." she said casually, "as for what i like, well.....i like them all.....mor--i mean, they are all easy...." she blushed again. she had almost said, mortal subjects are pretty easy... but if she had said that, she probably wouldn't seem...normal. "what classes do you like?"

[Ulvenes]

Ulrica slowly opened her blood red eyes as the sun slowly shown through her blinds of her apartment and on to her slightly pale skin. She yawned wide, revealing her wolfish fangs and rubbed her still sleepy eyes. She slowly sat up, letting her soft blanket fall off of her developed but fit body that was covered by only a bra and panties. She climbed out of bed and groggily walked in to the bathroom with a towel and music device.

She plugged her music device in to a dock and played Last of the Wilds by Nightwish, a song she enjoyed for it's serene melodies, and then proceeded to take off her bra and panties before climbing in the blazing hot shower. She scrubbed her hair and washed her body thoroughly, feeling not only her body but her mind wake up. After her reinvigorating shower, she stepped out and dried herself off before wrapping the towel around her body and unhooking her music device from the dock.

Ulrica then walked out of the bathroom in nothing but her towel and opened the window, letting the steam from her shower ventilate. She then proceeded to her dresser and pulled out another pair of black panties and slipped them on under her towel before removing the towel. She then put on a matching bra along with her school uniform, putting on black thigh high socks and matching bridal gauntlets that came up to her shirt sleeves. She dried her hair and let it hang freely, not bothering to do anything fancy with it. She looked at herself in her vanity and nodded before walking in to the kitchen. Almost as soon as she entered her stomach growled causing her ears to fold down. "Waaan.." She whimpered before grabbing a fruit and yogurt parfait to eat along the way, then grabbing her book bag and heading out the door and walking to school where a few other students were gathered.

Harald unfurled from his ball and yawned loudly. He scratched his jaw as he rose to open his blinds. Wincing at the light, Harald proceeded with his daily routine. Starting with a quick shower, he shook himself dry and went to his wardrobe. Harald always slept nude in the comfort of his own apartment. First he grabbed his underwear and trousers, then picking up a white shirt and grey blazer to match his trousers. Quickly slipping on some socks, Harald went for breakfast.

It was a habit for Harald to wake up early, giving him time to make a proper breakfast. Harald enjoyed meat in his breakfast and fried up some bacon. Whilst waiting, he toasted some bread for a bacon toastie. He ate it practically in four bites, his sharp teeth cutting straight through the bed. He then turned on his radio and relaxed until it was time to leave. When the time came, he slipped on his black leather shoes and laced them up. Grabbing his bag, he went off to school.

Prionsa groggily woke up, when his tv that he had left on after falling asleep on the couch started scrieching. Prionsa grabbed the remote and slammed down on the off button. Grumbling he grabbed his head from a pillow on the couch and reattached it to his body.

He rubbed his neck as he headed up to his bedroom to change from his ordinary clothes to his uniform. He kicked off his boots and threw his clothes to the ground as he undressed. Not bothering to change his boxers and socks, he slipped on his crumpled uniform and headed down to the kitchen.

He put some bread into the toaster, as he waited he did some homework he had forgotten about yesterday. He slowly ate his toast after it popped and then grabbed his schoolbag as he left his house to go to school.

Abraham woke up at 8:00 AM, meaning he was soon going to be late to first period. Abraham rushed to his car to drive to school. He was still in his pajamas without brushing his teeth or showering. He had showered last night, so his bodily smell wasn't an issue. While driving, he reached in the glove compartment and put a few mints in his mouth to take care of his morning breath. He arrived at school a few minutes late.
He didn't want to be marked late, so he needed a distraction so that the teacher wouldn't see him entering late. He saw a human freshman in the hallway and suddenly, he got an idea. Abraham grabbed the student by the belt and lapel and threw him out the window. Once everyone rushed to the window after hearing him hit the ground, Abraham quietly dashed to his seat.
The teacher then called for help, then finished taking attendance, marking Abraham as "present".

Jake finally pulled up into the parking lot of Drakesing High. He took his helmet off and walked inside, straightening his blazer as he did before walking over to his locker where he grabbed his books. He yawned as he walked towards his first class, bag slung over shoulder, books in one hand and his motorcycle helmet firmly gripped in his other. Just another day of school, which was boring not because he had to go but because he thought everyone mentally inferior to him, being a highly advanced alien came with it's negative personality traits.

Elli

After getting out of the shower, drying her hair and stuff, Elli walked back into her bedroom where she began to brush her hair in the mirror. After that, she got dressed, putting on a pair of red panties and a bra and then her skirt, shirt, tie and black thigh highs. After that she began putting her makeup on including eye liner, foundation and to finish off, red lipstick. After that, she grabbed her purse and walked outside before a bright light appeared on her back. The lights expanded and took the form of angel wings before the light dissipated leaving her wings behind. With a might flap of the wings, she was airborne and heading towards school.

Harald arrived at school with a scowl stuck on his face. The mortals were weak and the monsters ignored him. He sat on the school steps and rifled through his bag double checking he had everything packed. Satisfied he was prepared for the typical tedious day, he gave a quick lick of his hand, and ran it through his hair. His bag was placed between his legs as he waited for the bell. With a little scratch oh his grey ear, Harald sat silently. Class was under way fairly soon. Harald seemed to be invisible as always when he entered the class without a word. He took his seat at the front, and took out everything he needed.

She kept up barriers and seemed to be keeping Kate at a distance, both physically and mentally. Kate might be able to feel her cold aura, seeing as she was somewhat nearby. "Honestly, I'm not exactly a model student..." She admitted. Though she got good grades, she tended not to challenge herself or become passionate about learning... or anything for that matter. She wasn't really in any clubs unless they were compulsory and hardly ever showed up to anything that wasn't strictly class.

Aiden

"Don't feel too bad. Isaac was a fool." A voice soft yet harsh and cutting like a dagger spoke from nearby. A blonde haired girl with blue eyes. Isha had her black hoodie covering her hair, walking behind Aiden. She briefly wondered whether or not Aiden had noticed her up till now. She tended to say anyone that Aiden ended up executing in the sparrows was a fool. She had little respect for those who couldn't follow orders. "He wasn't given that hard a task. He just got lazy, and sloppy." She added.

Science? those are great classes! thanks!" she knew they were mandatory subjects, but now she knew which classes to assign herself to. she blinked once and manipulated the multiverse to reveal the girl who had greeted her's schedule. she took note of the teacher's names and made sure that she got the same ones, but not necessarily the same classes. strangely enough one teacher's name was "Mrs. Gaiastone" and she taught Xeno-biology. Kate giggled as she remembered the name from the time one of the mortals she was watching in Seeing Mirror back home had mentioned it. In the distance, Kate noticed several other students starting to arrive, most were in school uniform, however some wore clothing that wasn't school regulation, yet no one seemed to be bothered by it. Kate didn't understand it at all....

Aiden heard the familiar voice of Isha, one of the top assassins of the organization. "Killing that low-level demon should have been a breeze, if he had only followed his orders. You dealt with her, right? That demon is dead?" he asked casually, not that he doubted Isha's skill, but rather was questioning if whether or not she had done it already or not, as a way to take a note for his report to the Leader later.

She didn't want to give Isha the satisfaction of teasing the new girl. "We should probably go inside before my sister comes... Trust me, you don't want to meet her..."

Isha nodded. She had done so before she came to meet Aiden. "Freezing Arrow while she was still asleep. All that's left of her is a few chunks of ice. With any luck people won't even know she's dead for a while. Even then, there wont be anything left to examine" She reported coolly. "Quiet, Deadly and clean as always." She smiled at that, then pulled her hoodie down. It would look odd if she wore it while walking into school.

Kate was puzzled but agreed, but only because she didnt want to offned her. as she she stood up, she asked, "So...what's your name?" Kate could tell the girl was distant, but Kate wanted to be friends with everyone.

Aiden


Aiden slung his bag around his should as they approached. "Meet me at Jon's Icecream Shop after school today. there are things you and i will need to discuss before heading back to HQ." he gave her a sly smirk before walking on ahead. while in school, all Blood Sparrow members who were not already identified as friends would usually ignore each other and act as if they were ordinary students. discussing business while at school was forbidden and people who would not normally mingle with certian people did not mingle, for it would cause suspicion. to break these rules meant severe punishment. by Aiden's or by Her...hands.

Aria

Aria was already in the girl's lockerroom changing into her cheerleader outfit. She looked like any other cheerleader, and even though the other students knew she wasnt human, no-one except one person knew that she was a spirit, (and that girl only knew cuz she was one too, and also they kind of shared the same home...) Aria always changed early, it was just easier that way. after she finished she began the morning stretches, waiting for the rest of her team to show up. practice started at the the first ring of the bell, so she had some time to herself, even if it were only a few minutes.

I can't afford to get attached to her. "And you already said your name was Kate."

Ice cream? He must be feeling generous Isha, like many ice demons, had a soft spot for cold dairy foods. Cold milk, Ice Cream and even cheese once and a while. Kinara didn't seem to share this however, strangely enough. She was a half breed, so Isha supposed that made sense. Or maybe he just wan'ts to cushion the blow of whatever he wants to say. Heh. She thought.

Speaking of her worthless sister, she didn't see her on the way to school. Half breed must be already in class or maybe she decided to stay home and brood. She mentally teased.

[Ulvenes]

Ulrica, standing out in the open and trying not to stare at the two girls conversing, wanted to talk to them just to try and be social. But before she could the two girls decided to go inside. Ulrica sighed softly, disappointed with herself that she caused herself to miss out on yet another opportunity to be social and maybe make a few friends. Her head drooped low and she began to follow the others in to the school.

Kate was about to reply when suddenly a boy bumped into the two of them. it was a light bump, not capable of knocking one down, but it was noticeable enough. "Oh, hello girls." he said in a friendly tone. he stared at Kate for a long second before turning to Kinara, "I take it that she's a new girl, Kinara? Odd, i didn't figure you for the social type, but whatever. If you can finally open up more, i'll take it as a sign of good fortune...." he said with a wink. he then turned back to Kate, "Sorry that i don't have long to talk, my name is Aiden, Aiden Chidestorm! i'm number 88 of the Drakesing Wyverns Varsity Football Team. Nice to meet ya." he smiled and offered his hand out, though for what, Kate wasn't sure, as such a gesture had so many meanings in Mortal culture, she just hoped it didn't mean marriage. She blushed a little, "U-Um, well, my name is Kate." she left his hand alone, not knowing for certain how to respond.
The boy Aiden paused for a moment, "hmm, don't trust me enough for a last name, huh? well that's alright we've only just met, so i guess thats okay, anyway, i gotta go, today is Tuesday, which means more practice for Friday's game! See ya girls later!" he called as he casually walked away. What a strange mortal... Kate thought to herself.

Hmm...a new girl....i wonder where she will fit in the grand scheme of things.....i'll add this encounter to my nightly report later. Aiden thought as he walked off. She didn't shake his hand so he wasn't able to acquire any of her essence or memories, just something to add to the to-do list later. Aiden took a deep breath as he walked to the boy's gymnasium. (the school had a total of three, one for boys, one for girls, and one for both). While at school, among the students and coaches, Aiden was considered one of the nicest guys in the school, had excellent grades, and was a valued member of the Varsity Football team. of course all of this was a mask, one he wore to school everyday and never took it off except within the Blood Sparrow, where he was feared. not that it really mattered, fear was just a tool, not a means of enjoyment.

She turned around to face Kate. "So, what homeroom class are you in?"

"Oh...." she said before replying, "Xenobiology, with Mrs. Gaiastone...." Kate smiled innocently, "what about you, what is your home room?" She already knew the answer, of course, but she was smart enough to know it would be strange for her to know it when no one else had told her. But that aside, Kate was still brimming with excitement, eager to learn more of the mortal ways and such. She should have done this millenia ago....

Jake sighed and entered the classroom for Xenobiology. He placed his motorcycle helmet under his desk before slumping down in his seat "I still can't get over how they still use paper. This planet is strange" Jake thought to himself as he looked around the classroom and noticed books "The only books we have are millions of years old and in pristine condition. These silly hairless apes can't even make theirs last a couple of years" He once again thought to himself as he leaned back in his chair. Hopefully nobody was reading his mind. Not that they would be able to unless they were powerful enough to bypass the brain implants.

Elli landed at school, brushing her hair out of her eyes and folding her wings back in. He walked into the school and went over to her locker and pulled it open, taking out books needed for her class in Xenobiology. Once grabbing her books, she closed her locker and began walking down the hallway towards her class.
