The Altis Crisis (CLOSED, SIGN UP OR I KILL YUO)

Postby Huda » Fri Mar 27, 2015 1:02 am

this, lol same ArmA 3 song

Image
The Kingdom of Altis and Stratis is currently in turmoil, as the rebellion group, the "Freedom Independence Army'" is vying to get rid of the long-serving Leminos dynasty and form a Democratic government.

The Kingdom of Altis and Stratis... one of the most beautiful countries of the world. Ruled by the Leminos Dynasty - who have been on rule since the overthrow of the Roman Empire in Altis. Of course, they were overthrown by the Ottoman Empire for a short time, but later on got back on rule thanks to World War I. The Kingdom was on steady rule, and was neutral for most of the time. It was very pro-Western, and usually received funding, weaponry and other forms of aid. In return, they would allow Western companies to use Altisian resources.

The resources in Altis can prove to be vital. Underneath the massive caves, large deposits of coal and oil can be found. And it is also rumored, in some areas - treasure has been found! Treasure by means of gold, jewels and anything beyond imagination. Stratis, on the other hand, is quiet silent. Not many live there anymore: many moved to Stratis in hopes of fortune. However, the area is very crucial to the Kingdom, as it holds an Air Base for not only refueling, but soldier housing. The area is very rich in coal and oil as well - and home to two towns. As previously said, the area has a number of bases, making it a useful military island.

The United States had stationed troops since 1970s, as Cold War fears rose. However, by the end of 1990, they removed their troops, thus leaving a lot of the bases abandoned. Altis has made their own weapons market, thus leading to their own sustenance for the AAF (Altisian Armed Forces). The FIA, on the other hand, are based on Stratis. They mostly control Southern Stratis - headquartered in Girna. However, in the midst of all this, the rising of Kristofer I as led to struggle.

Kristofer I promotes nationalism, criticizing the US, and nationalizing Altisian resources. Altis formed into a rouge state, as US rallies into war. The United States, is supported by Greece. Thus, they will be pushing from Greece. In the midst of all this, the Greater Abbasist Republic of Huda seeks to implement an Abbasist Government. Who will win? This, will inevitably shape Altis' future.

Telos, Altis

Greg Farhammer had chosen the small city of Telos to be his force's HQ due to its location. Telos was the main town that controlled the major roads that across the strait of land connecting the east and west of the island. As long as Telos could be held, an invading force would need to move by sea around the island, which was possible, but Farhammer couldn't help that.

Farhammer had been a soldier once, from a nation long-since crumbled to conflict. He had been a soldier then, and once he had left, he had still wanted a soldier's life. He became a mercenary at that point, joining a PMC and become a field squad leader. The PMC had since been bought out, and he'd worked as a private contracter. This is where the United Remnant of America came in, who had offered to pay for his and his friends' services in response to leading their growing mercenary army. One such mercenary force was the 12,000 mercenaries currently under his command. The URA had bought them as a detachment, more like a heavy infantry division, from the Vanguard Corporation. In Farhammer's opinion, these troops were bottom-of-the-barrel mercs, most of them from Vanguard Corporation's home nation, some backwater that he couldn't even remember the name of.

He currently had these troops separated into 3 regiments of four battalions each. The first regiment was stationed around Telos, Gravia, Athira, and the airport. The second regiment was based in Pyrgos and had units in each of the four small towns from Dorida south. The third and final regiment of four-thousand troops had been scattered between Neochori, Kavala, Zaros, and Poliakko. Farhammer knew if push came to shove, he could further disperse his troops as needed, but he was afraid that these damn mercs just weren't up to par with his opfor, and he prayed the Hudans would get here soon with reinforcements, so his troops could just provide city defense.

Greg knew his enemy. The Organized States were leading them into combat. He knew a little of the URA's politics, enough to the the URA and OS were allies, and he doubted that had changed. He assumed that's why he and the mercs were here, instead of a unit of the URA's soldiers. He'd become a deniable asset in case the OS tried to accuse the URA of being assholes. What Greg didn't know was that the URA was supporting Altis for its rich natural resource reserves, and knew an indebted Altis would be more than willing to offer a portion of those resources to a savior like the URA. What Farhammer also didn't know was that the URA already had a contingency plan set up in case the Hudans got greedy and tried to wrest all the reources from Altis, leaving the URA with none.

Farhammer didn't get paid his hefty sum to think about the URA's inner workings. As the most senior mercenary from Fort Eagle Eye, the URA's main private contractor base, he got paid to win and make sure other mercenaries got home. But even though 12,000 mercs came here, he doubted they'd all go to their temporary home.

MOB Taara, outside of Zhabar, Zataristan.
Captain Saboor Hamdini.
3/28/2015.

A Hero's Life - Hudian Army Propaganda.

I looked at the evening sun as I took a bite out of a grilled cheese sandwich I bought from the marketplace. I was Captain Saboor Hamdini, a Hudian army official stationed in Zataristan. I've been in the country for three years, now. My wife and my son, Rasheed were currently home. Rasheed had just entered Grade I. Why was I thinking all that? I was going to war. Earlier in the day, I was instructed by Colonel Zamani to begin packing my things. I was leading a third portion of a Battalion in Judho Force II.

I got up from the ledge I was sitting on. Walking behind, I entered the base. Having already packed my thing, bidding goodbye to my family was next. I drove to our house and told my wife about it. She kissed me, and tried to stop crying, but she was howling. My son came and hugged me - although he barely understood what was happening. Once more, as I walked out, a feeling of misery entrenched me. I went back to my base, where I could see a number of people coming out from a magnificent boat.

Of course. The Hudian reinforcements that were carpooled by India. I had to chuckle as the men came closer. They saluted me, as I saluted them. I kept a brave smile, as I went for our intel. "Hello Captain." The general called. I saluted him, and vice versa. "Your intel is right here. And I hope you were there for the Hudian Arms Expo last week. We've upgraded our arms. Combination of modern Russian and Hudian equipment. Most of it is Hudian - the recent update on arms was amazing, really. The program began in 2012, and is now complete. They showed the arms in the expo - pretty amazing and very strong." He notified me. For one, I grinned at him. I never knew we were going to have such arms.
INTEL ON THE CURRENT ALTIAN SITUATION
TOP SECRET

The Kingdom of Altis and Stratis is in the risk of a potential invasion by a coalition, led by Organized States. They have chosen to side with us, and have agreed to establish an Abbasist Monarchy, which may be an odd pair, but Abbasism does not require democracy to function. Nevertheless, an unknown faction of mercenaries are aiding the Kingdom - which had never paid for mercenaries. Nevertheless, we only require this scrap of land for it's position. We will have access to the Baltic, as well as access to resources. However, these resources yet rightfully belong to the Altian Kingdom, and an agreement will be brought on, Inshallah. Your objective is to travel to Telos with the Zataristani forces and discuss battle plans with the mercenaries. Below, images of the new weaponry to be operated can be found.

For one, I got out a couple of reasons as to how fast our weapons got upgraded: we had a small army. I bet that the other militaries would be sending numbers, or at least they had more men. I nodded as I called the Zataristani base. I requested them to mobilize their ships.
We were going to Altis.

Somewhere near offshore Altis,Mediterranean Sea
0121 Hours
Zataristani Task Force Group 1

Lieutenant General Mansour Salahudeen walked around the bridge of the Zataristani Landing Helicopter Assault Ship, the night was dark,he stared at the sea for quite sometime,Mansour is a fourty nine years old man,he had entered combat in Gaza and Syria, winning various battles. The orders had been given from Supreme Leader Mahmoud Hafez himself,to assist the Hudian troops and to establish an Abbasist government in Altis, and to NOT let Altis fall to the wrong hands. The Zataristani troops is about to land in coordinate 17,14((refer to the map)) in a few hours just near Charkia.Mansour walked back to his cabin,as soon as he arrived in his cabin,he approached the table, checked the map and made a few final scratches for the landing zone and the plan.

few hours later....

The time was straight 05:00 in the morning, the Zataristani SIR Abu Azrael Landing Helicopter Assault Carrier made it final turn towards Altis, the ship blinked its light towards the island, signaling the mercenaries so that they will not be engaged. The Zataristani LHAC then opened its bay,as about ten BTR-90s that is carrying Zataristani troops with full gear swarmed. The BTRs made its way towards the shore,as above,Kamov KA-50 Black Shark choppers hovered, while some also made its way towards Altis.Behind the BTRs,Zubr class LCAC carrying Zataristani T90MS 'Tagil' manuvered towards the shore. Then, the Mi-26 carrying troops and equipments starts taking off along with Zataristani Modernised Mil MI-17.

About fifteen minutes passed, and the BTRs had already made its way towards Charkia and Rodopoli. The T90MSes scattered between the two small towns, with the helicopters landing their troops at Charkia.Phase one was done, the troops had already secured the landing zone and already settled.Next phase is to create a Forward Operating Base at point Nifi where the grounds are flat, and a main base at the town of Charkia.Lt.Gen. Mansour Salahudeen walked around Charkia where the main base was being constructed, tents are being built, hardwares are being installed along with defences and such.He had a grin on his face as he put on his classic aviator shades, while holding his Khaybar KH-2002 fitted with a Zataristani version of the ACOG sight.

Zataristan
0710 Hours
Zataristani Task Force Group 2&3

As Task Force Group one had already landed and secured the place,it is time for group two and three to go along with Hudian forces.Like before,it started with a handful of Landing Carrier ships, then about two Udaloy II class destroyers sailed behind the ships,Hudians troops were also visible on board the Landing Helicopter Assault ships.

South Guernsey, St Peter Port City, House of Parliament.

The Prime Minster along with Major-General Brock watch the fleet set sail into the sunset both knowing full well what the men and women of the Royal Navy are geting into. "Many men and women wont make it back.." said the Prime Minster, Brock looked at him and replied "Yes, but all for the good of the people of Altis.". The Prime Minster nods his head knowing that Brock was right. It was time for change in Altis and the only way that was possible was by using lethal force against the enemies of the people.

Hours later...
Off the coast of Mazi Bay.

The first stage of the invasion had begun on Mazi Bay and .Agia Pelagia 1,200 Royal Marines landed an assault on the bay hoping to then pushing north into the town of Salakano with lethal force if contacted by anyone posing a threat. Once the town is secured Navy helicopters will insert Marine 'Husky TSV' Armoured Vehicles in and around both the bay and the town. The Marines on the ground assigned to the Huskies will then enter their vehicles and conduct area patrols.

Little to no resistance was shown in both the town and the bay. The Marines began to round up the locals taking details down from each individual. The locals where confused and had no idea what was happening to them. The Flag of Guernsey Land was then risen in the town to show control over the town. The helicopters arrived with the Huskies and patrols began. Captains within the marines began to talk to the Locals telling them that they have nothing to fear. Resistance against the the enemies of the people was encouraged and anyone who has already or is willing to take up arms are no enemies to Guernsey Land.
Navy medics and surgeons arrived from HMS Sarnia (Carrier) and begun setting up a field hospital between the bay and the town.

150 Royal Marines began to gear up again ready to take on the next town, Ferras...

Chalkeia, Altis

Farhammer had taken a trip out of Telos to check on the new developments happening to the south. Since he had last left Telos, Zatari troops had come up into the towns between his 1st and 2nd regiments, areas where he hadn't put troops to provide buffer space. This addition of troops, and armor along with them, would greaty reinforce the area.

And it was only so lucky that the first enemy combatants had appeared in the southern peninsula. Luckily, his mercenary troops were able to withdraw from Selekano as soon as they saw ships on the horizon where they shouldn't have been, immediately tipping off the Vanguard soldiers that they weren't friendly.

Even though this movement had put more troops in Pyrgos and Chalkeia, he still had about 400 soldiers in Feres and 600 in Panagla. The downside was that Feres Airfield was basically lost, since there was only a klick of distance between his two companies in Feres and the enemy, who appeared to be flying a flag that Farhammer had later locked up that belonged to Guernsey Land. Due to their lack of mentioned from the URA or their Hudan allies, he assumed they were hostile and would treat them as such.

As it was, forward recon patrols of Vanguard soldiers had seen and heard glimpses of armor being put into Selakano and the coastal villages further south. Farhammer didn't have armor to combat these vehicles, but his troops did have AT weaponry, so he could still put up a fight against these invaders. The next couple days were most likely going to see Feres become a battleground, but Farhammer had ordered his troops not to engage first unless these troops opened fire or exhibited hostile intentions.

Pyrgos, Altis.
Lieutenant Shafir Rabbi.
3/29/2015.

Our forces just landed into Pyrgos. The whole number of Judho Force II poured into the port. Startled Altian troops begin aiming at us - their leaders trembling and asking us to stand down. Our leader, Rahim Khan began speaking. "We are Hudian and Zataristani aid.", he shouted. The Altians heaved a sigh of relief and brought us to the Commander of the Army: Akaklios Constantinou. A few hours later, Colonel Rahim told us. "Alright men, we've now arrived to Altis.". We nodded, and were led to our quarters.

I was told to type in a telegram to the Zataristanis and Mercenaries all the way over at Telos and such. Heard that the Selakono? What was it? Oh yes, Selakano. It was captured by possible hostile forces. As for the FIA - the rebellion; they'd have captured Abdera, Oreokastro, Syrta, Agios Dionysios, and Kavala. I heard that Kavala was important and heavily guarded. I begin wondering - why haven't the hostile forces began invading anyway? We already realized that entering Altian territory was enough.

I finished writing the telegram, and sent it.

From: Hudian-Zataristani Forces in Pyrgos.
To: Mercenaries, Zataristani forces near Kalthea Bay.
Encryption: [EXTREMELY HIGH | #$%^#@zatmerchudalt#$$*!#Y#&]

We have reached Altis.
Sorry for delays.
We will fortify Feres.
Retaking of Selakano secondary.
Begin blockade of ships against hostiles.

Selakano.

The 150 Marines set off accompanied by Huskies as Guernsey Apache attack helicopters ascended from HMS Sarnia. The Apaches where assigned to barrage the town Panagia north of Feres in order to destroy the enemies chance of reinforcing Feres. 400 Marines where ready for any counter attack against the attacking force.
Royal Marine snipers took up positions ready to take down any immediate threat against AT, AA or enemy snipers. They where also assigned to take out anyone expected to be medics or officers.

The first contact was made when the Marines spotted armed men appearing to be hostile within the town. First shot was fired by Guernsey Land.

Meanwhile..

The remainder of the Marines begun to instruct the locals to set up walls of sandbags around the town to increase the town's defenses.

Back in Mainland Guernsey Land word of the successful landing had begun to travel up the chain of command boosting the moral of the commanders. 24th Infantry Battle Group was then ordered to sail out to Altis now that the Marines had a foothold in the town of Selakano. They just had to hold the Town until the Battle Group had arrived..

"Raining Fire"

Postby Organized States » Sun Mar 29, 2015 6:40 am

OOC: Sorry if it isn't up to my normal standards. It was late when I was writing this.

OSS Independence Ready Room 1, 318 miles off the Coast of Altis
T-Minus 1 hour, 30 minutes to the launch of Operation Altisian Freedom

The ready room of the Independence was a large, darkened room, centering around the digital multi-mission display mapboard, one of 8 on the ship. A massive tablet-like display that showed the positions of every aircraft, ship, and landmass detected by satellite, radar, the CIC, and other assets, projecting friendly units in Blue, unknowns in Green, and Hostiles in Red. Fighter pilots all stood around the display as the Operations officer began the briefing.

"Gentlemen, approximately 12 hours ago, Satellite imagery detected a Helicopter carrier accompanied by multiple other vessels, now confirmed as the ships of a joint Hudan-Zarasitani Task Force to assist the Altisian Government. We've received orders to terminate this task force with extreme prejudice." the Operations Officer said with emphasis on the final word. "Anti-Ship munitions will be fired at this point here. Questions?" at which he circled a point on the map with a red marker, before looking up from the board to the Flight Gear-clad pilots with a quizzical expression.

"Any word on hostile air, sir?" asked one of the Super Hornet jockies, probably interested in the obvious.

"It appears at this time to primarily be made up of rotor-wing assets, mainly of Russian origin. Expect mainly Hokum As, Halos, and Hips." the Operations officer replied, as the Jockey nodded.

"Gentlemen, man your aircraft."

F/A-18E Miss Identified, 12,000 feet, 129 miles away from the Zarasitani-Hudan Task Force in port at Pyrgos
T-Minus 20 seconds until the start of Operation Altisian Freedom

Lt. Junior Grade Matthew "Dark-Matter" Scott take a deep breath into his mask as he looked out towards his starboard side. A flight of 12 F/A-18Es of VFA-182 "Copperheads". On his portside, a few thousand feet above him were a pair of EA-18Gs working their magic and attempting to jam the radars of the hostile fleet. It was a simple get-in, get-out mission. On his wing-mounted pylons, he carried a set of four Lockheed Martin LRASM-Bs, supersonic anti-ship missiles. Developed as a counter to the rise of the People's Liberation Army Navy, the LRASM-B was one of the world's most advanced anti-ship missiles. Carrying a 1,000lb High Explosive Fragmentation Warhead and traveling at the speed of Mach 2.9, it packed a deadly punch. It had been nicknamed the "Mayweather" after the boxer, due to it's ability to move quickly and quietly and lay down a killer punch.

"Copper All Signs, clear for weapons release." said the airboss aboard an E-2D a few miles away coordinating the massive strike. Within seconds of the command, 48 LRASM Bs tore away from their pylons on the Super Hornets, falling down towards the sea and beginning their mission at Sea Level, adjusting for the terrain. The sea-skimmers quickly began to accelerate, remaining hidden from enemy radars as the F/A-18Es banked away from the vector and returned towards the strike group at high-speeds.

OSS Gabrielle Giffords, DDG-85, Carrier Strike Group 8
+30 seconds from the start of Operation Altisian Freedom

The evening sky around the carriers was illuminated as dozens of RGM-109E Tomahawk missiles left their Mark 41 Vertical Launch Tubes. The 6 James Lawrence-class Guided Missile Destroyers and 3 Hopkins-class Guided Missile Cruisers seemingly had the ability to launch them concurrently as two volleys of missiles left their tubes. Their targets were many and varied. The Negades-Kore factory, the Pyrgos Research Base and Harbor, Altisian positions at Kastro and Thronos Castle, and a dozen other sites throughout Altis. The eve of destruction was nigh.

FB-23A Little Birdy, approaching the Anthrakia power plant
30 minutes after the start of Operation Altisian Freedom

The two OSAF Northrop Grumman FB-23A Black Widow IIs flew in at 28,000 feet, breaking the sound-barrier super-cruising before approaching their target. The Anthrakia Power Plant was a massive solar array which powered massive swaths of Altis. Inside of their internal bomb-bays were a set of 20 CBU-100 Rockeye II Cluster-munitions. The two WSOs armed their weapons before releasing them on the Solar Power-fields below. The 9,880 Bomblets separated from their carriers and spread out among the fields, raining fire below.

B-2A Lucky Ducky II, approaching Altis International Airport
4 hours into Operation Altisian Freedom

The flight of two B-2As followed by a flight of 4 F-22Cs and 2 FB-23As slipped through the night sky towards the Airport. The black, dorroito-shaped aircraft carried with them two GBU-57B Massive Ordinance Penetrators, the most-powerful conventional bomb ever built. A 30,000lb behemoth, the Massive Ordinance Penetrator was a bunker-buster. Designed to crack even the hardest of command bunkers and hardened aircraft shelters, it was manufactured by Boeing Space and Defense, one of the Big Three Defense Contractors.

As the B-2s approached their target, the Co-pilot began the process of targeting the hardened Altisian Air Force aircraft shelters and hangers on the Northside of the Airport. Within seconds, the bombs fell away, rapidly falling towards the ground. 4 bombs, one for each of the structures.

The FB-23As carried with them a far more sinister payload. Carrying 24 Mantra BLU-107 Durandals, a runway-cratering munition, the FB-23As released their payloads as the final blow of the strike package. The Durandals slowed their release via parachute, before impacting the runway. Their ordinance dropped, the aircraft of the strike package quickly attempted to exit the area as fast as they could.

Telos

Farhammer had just gotten back into his temporary office in Telos only to find out that the shit had collectively hit the fan. He was recieving reports from everywhere about enemy attacks. But at least the Hudians and Zataris had shown up at Pyrgos to support the Altisians and his troops. He read the written message by the Hudian command and nodded. At least his regiment defending the south was going to get supported, which was what was needed, they seemed to be under attack from all sides right now, even as the regiment centered around the western portion of the island around Kavala went completely unnoticed unto this point it seemed. Farhammer thought over the situation and quickly started writing a reply to the Hudians. Then the lights flickered once before everything went dark.

"What the fuck. Johnson! What the hell happened to the power?!"

Altis International Airport, Altis

The duty here was nice. The guard was heavy. And no one was worried about bothering a civilian airport, despite their being a few Altisian military planes here. At least George had pulled luck by being part of the 1st Regiment and being part of thr 4th Battalion, which was protecting the airport. Geroge walked around the air control tower, seeing other contracted soldiers milling about, mostly standing around and talking or smoking. George didn't know why, but he happened to look up at that moment to just stare at the blue sky. It was certainly a beautiful day, one where he could just sit on a grassy hill and sleep. Way high up, he could just barely make out a couple moving dots, which could have been airliners or satellites or something.

The power had been out for a couple hours, now, but the airport was running on backup generators to keep things running. He heard a lot of the troops holding towns weren't so lucky, since civilians didn't really get backup power. That must've sucked. It was nice to watch TV or listen to a radio on break.

George was slow to react at the sound of the first explosion, but he was much quicker to react at the sound of the second one. George quickly slung the rifle he'd been carrying around his back and took off around the AC tower to see the runway, only to see the first two airport hangars go up in smoke, the blast waves washing over him in a gust of air that nearly knocked him off his feet. Even as he watched, the next to hangars disappeared in explosions, their own blast waves hitting him from further away. George started to take off towards the closest hangar to try and help. He had friends who were in thoe buildings! As he crossed the runway to get to them, he glanced up again at the sky where he saw those jets. There were parachutes coming towards him.

George died in the following explosion as bomblets rained down on him and others running across the runway as the OS-borne weaponry laid waste to the airport. The mercenaries had never even known what had hit them.

Pyrgos, Altis

Team sergeant Torres saluted the Hudian and Zatari soldiers, smiling as he did so. 2nd Regiment was based out of Pyrgos, and Torres was a memer of the 1st Battalion here. He was lucky, he'd guessed. He'd heard rumored reports of enemy contact from the guys in 4th Battalion around Feres. Sucked to be them, he guessed. Torres cradled his rifle in his hands and walked thorugh the streets, seeing a nice calm here, waving and saluting to passing Vanguard Corporation personnel as warranted. The first blast wave of an explosion knocked him onto his face. Torres quickly rolled around and looked back down the hill at the harbor, where missiles streaked into the Zatari and Hudian ships. "Holy shit!" Torres quickly scrambled up to his feet and started to run towards the ships, but stopped when he heard a whistle and a larger missile appeared to strike the docks and harbors, vaporizing some mercenary troops as the damage started to take hold. Torres spooked and turned to run, even has he saw more missiles streak overhead and hit the research labs on the other side of the city, mushroom clouds going up. The soldier went to take cover from the bombing, cursing to himself as he realized he might die today.

Feres, Altis

Company leader Jackson hid behind a roadbloack and fired a couple more rounds blindly. Some of the troops under his command fired beside him the same way. A hundred or so meters away were the obviously hostie troops with IFVs replying to thier fire. He'd gotten sktechy raido reports from Panagla of their being an attack helo assault, which had gone really well for his troops, all things considering. Apparently the helos had managed to take out a few houses before patrolling soldiers with Stingers started to give them hell. As far as he'd heard, the attack kind of fizzled due to that. Lucky them.

Here in Feres, they'd recieved the brunt of the ground assault, and in Feres, they had less troops. The forward patrol, from Jackson's own company, had seen these assholes come up and was planning to stop them and ask their business before one of they opened fire on the mercenaries. That's how this started. Now, Jackson was trying not to get his head blown off, as he'd seen anyone lifting a Javelin to take out those IFVs. Not all his allies had been so unlucky, as evidenced by a few burning wrecks of IFVs, but still, the sniper competition was strong, and his own snipers were playing a cat-and-mouse game right now trying to kill and not be killed. The soldier right next to Jackson screamed and fell back under cover, blood seeping from a fresh bullet wound in his shoulder. Jackson raised up and emptied his clip as covering fire before dropping back down again. So far, they hadn't needed reinforcements and were holding there own against what appeared to be an equally-sized force, but hopefully the rest of the battalion in Panagla could send some help if things got any hairier here.

(( Havent got much time to post, so let's just say that my bundestag ( parliament ) have authorized the deployment of units down here and bla bla bla ))

100 nautical miles south of Altisian coast

2 patrolling Molotovskiyan Dassault Rafales provided a background for an armed NH-90 helicopter which was just 10 meters above the landing deck of the amphibious assault ship, FMS Buggenhauser. The helicopter was trying to land in the middle of a thick midst. It was very hard to see, with only the assault ship's light to illuminate a 50 meters visibility for the NH-90 . The pilots of the helicopter were trained to operate in all weather conditions though, hence, after a short period of time, the helicopter landed successfully on the deck of the ship. A number of crew on the deck quickly rushed towards the helicopter, attaching what it seemed to be a fuel hose and a long sturdy rope. At the other end of the rope, a 155mm Boombar howitzer was attached to the rope. While the crews were busy with the helicopter, a man dressed in an officer uniform approached the helicopter - opening the loading door of the helicopter afterwards. Inside, a squad consisted of 10 men stared at the officer as soon as he opened the door. The atmosphere seemed to change, whatever they were on about was interrupted by this authoritive figure who simply placed a satchel bag in the center cabin of the helicopter and nodded to the squad commanding officer, Leutnant Jurgen Hoffman. Hoffman then nodded back at the officer, before shutting the door close.
Filled with curiousity, a squad member, Feldwebel Erich Hasseldorf reached for the satchel bag. Seeing Hasseldorf trying to reach the bag, Hoffman held Hasseldorf's hand firmly-..

[Lt Hoffman] "Didn't your mother tell you not to touch other people's things?"
[Fwb Hasseldorf] "Ugh, what's inside the bag anyway?"
[Lt Hoffman] "That, Feldwebel, is our mission. Now, before we continue.. **Leans forward towards Hasseldorf** We might have known each other for a long time, but if you don't behave yourself you can get off this heli right here, right now."
[Fwb Hasseldorf] "J-Ja, Herr leutnant"
[Lt Hoffman] "Good. **Looks around the heli before adjusting his earpiece to his comfort** Alright, listen up. We're headin' to Altis, the general had personally sent us as the first Molotovisch to enter Altis for "peacekeeping" purposes. **Opens the satchel bag, reveals a map of Altis, and a marker from his uniform pocket** So the general wants us to establish a forward base at this area. **Marks a place with an X on the map** There we'll set up a [i]grade 2 fortified camp, sleeping tents, field hospital tent, armory, HESCO bastion walls, all must be constructed on the camp. And we're also bringing an artillery system with us, a 155mm howitzer. That have the ability to reach most of Altis from where we're gonna' place it. Anywho, we will receive a satellite intel report shortly, other than that, our orders are restricted to what I've just said, do not engage at any armed men unless they shoot first. In that case, rain hell upon em'. Alles klaar?"[/i]
[The rest of the squad] "Klaar, herr Leutnant!"

Shortly after, the helicopter ascends off the assault ship. At the same time, 5 other helis with the same loads, and 2 other helis, each carrying an excavator, took off from the deck of the FMS Buggenhauser, and it's sister ship, FMS Donitz. The helis then were followed by 3 EC-665N Tiger, and a flight consisted of 6 Dassault Rafales as an air superiority fighter to cover their landing. In FMS Buggenhauser's bridge, having sent the Hudaean forces an encrypted messsage which contained their force's strenghts and plans, Brigadegeneral Heinrich Schneider and Flotillen-Admiral Karl Zeitmann watched the helicopters took off from the ships through their binoculars. They had high hopes for the men departing that night.

Feres.

The Marines fought on into the town while taking casualties. The Marines left their dead and injured behind for the Quick Reaction Teams (QRTs) to pick up and bring back to Selanko. With the destruction of a few Huskies the men where a little shook, however, their moral stayed strong and they remained eager to win. The 400 Marines on standby where tasked to replace fallen Marines on the battlefield to keep the numbers strong.

Snipers found themselves having quite the challenge against the enemy's snipers thus taking few casualties.

After the unsuccessful helicopter attack, causing two to be taken town, the choppers flew back to HMS Sarnia. Two pilots are presumed captured or dead. They where last seen parachuted behind enemy lines.

Meanwhile off the coast.

The Battle Group had arrived landing 4 Tanks and 300 Soldiers onto the beach of Agia Pelagia to help the attack on Feres while the rest of the Battle Group gradually deployed on Mazi Bay to reinforce the town of Selakano.

(OOC: Apologies for this being brief.. I'm at work at them moment.)

Pyrgos Gulf
On board SIR Saqr Helicopter Carrier

TOOOT TOOOT TOOOT
The alarm rang, good thing this only happened to only two ship, the SIR Saqr and the SIR Ghadeer. It was the last two ships to be in the Pyrgos Gulf, the rest counting six are on its way back already hours ago ,except for the destroyers which was patrolling far away. The captain,Hamza Massoud woke up to the sound of the alarm. He immediately ran towards the bridge, the ship was already banking to the left and right, explosions could be heard. It had no defence except for some CIWS,which now is useless. The captain rushes,as he arrived at the bridge it was already chaos. He looked to his left,he saw SIR Ghadeer starting to sink while his front,a Mi-17 exploding. He then took the radio as he calls in

This is SIR Saqr calling main,we and Ghadeer are sinking.Lots of em,dropping ASMs!Send help! Out!

He switched to the intercom,he knew this was the end...

Men,do not give up.The bay is open, abandon ship while you can.Over and out.

He instructed his officers to rush and get as many crew out as possible.Everything was exploding,Massoud walked out from the bridge,as it blew up seconds later. Then a screeching sound was heard, the ship started to hardly bank to the left, the sailors who survived the blasts had already took the boats and left,as the captain insructed to do so.None was left,it was all destroyed.PSSSH it sank, along with the captain, and SIR Ghadeer

Miles offcoast Altis,Mediterranean Sea
SIR Zhabar & SIR Jamaran

Our returning chopper carrier had detected an enemy movement, satellite and drones had also confirmed it.Hostile Destroyer group, suspected to be the one who launched S to S missiles to Altis.Numbering around eight of them. Now our mission here is simple, get in range, fire our SS-N-22s and then sail away back to port. Its basically hit and run gentlemen.Remember, for the guys and Saqr and Ghadeer.

Now that's what the captain said few minutes before, now we're on our way to the selected coordinate.

few moments later

The two Udaloy-II class destroyer stopped. They're in range.I rushed to my station,I am in controll of the launchers of the SS-N-22 Sunburn ASMs.One Udaloy has a total of eight Missiles,so a total of 16 from both will be launched.I arrived,I then measured some stuffs, you know, some normal launcher stuffs. We were ready,we coordinated with the neighbouring Udaloy,SIR Jamaran.

KRRSH KRRRSH KRRSH KRSSH

The ASMs left the tubes, making their way to the sky, about to hit the State's Carrier Strike Group 8.A total of sixteen missiles. Then its running time, the Udaloys quickly turn back and made its way back to Zataristan.

FMS Buggenhauser, Flagship of Task Group 14

The bridge seemed to be bustling with activities, Admiral Zeitmann had ordered the crew to stand-by incase of a general quarters situation is announced. Previously, the Admiral had seen a real time feed of Altis and it's surrounding area, including it's water space from a Molotovskiyan satellite. The Admiral noticed the last moments of the 2 Zataristan which met their fate that day. In addition to an increase in general situational awareness, the Admiral had ordered an additional air patrol consisting of 2 Dassault Rafale fighters, totaling to 4 fighters patrolling the group's parameters at any given time.

Meanwhile, at the marked Altinean LZ

The forces that were sent from the task group had been deployed on the ground, the cargo had also been unloaded, and placed into position, and the helicopters headed back to the task group with the exception of 2 EC 665 Tiger and 2 NH90, which landed on an open area near the landing ground. Plenty of soldiers were expanding the HESCO bastion, covering vital areas such as the base perimeter, and each individual howitzers, while the excavators fill the HESCO bastion with sand. Some soldiers were also errecting the tents, and some other soldiers were installing defenses such as portable AA pods and AT pods. In general, the construction of the forward base would finish in a matter of hours.
Hauptmann Hoffmann, who, about hours ago were known as Leutnant Hoffmann, received a field promotion from Brigadegeneral, he was given the task to supervise the building of the site, and overall coordination of land-based operations until a higher ranking officer sets foot on Altinean soil.

((gotta sleep))

Feres

"Fuck!" Jackson dove behind the corner of a building as bullets stitched across the ground after him. The enemy had been slowly pushing his troops backwards through Feres with what seemed like an unending supply of reinforcements. Earlier in the day, Jackson's counterpart had been taken out by a sniper shot, leaving Jackson as the ranking commander of the about 200 soldiers that remained in and around the town.

The reinforcements from Panagla had done a whole lot of not appearing all day. They were more interested in holding one of the chopper pilots captive, or so the radio went. Apparently, another one had parachuted out, too, but he'd had a bad landing and snapped his neck on impact. On top of that, radio reports coming in from Pyrgos say that a major bombing took out Zatari ships and some of his brother mercenaries. On top of that, over half of the battalion at Altis Int'l Airport had been killed with the air attack there, since most troops were taking housing in the hangars. The damage was still being assessed, but it seemed that 1st Regiment had been reduced to three battalions and his own regiment had two hurting battalions.

Jackson tossed a grenade around the corner and down the road. Feres was going to be lost in another couple hours at this speed, and then the mad run his troops would have to make to Panagla would be horrible as the enemy shot at their backs. Hopefully, they'd stop at Feres. Maybe some kind of peace could be reached for a trade: Rest for the enemy helo pilot. Jackson's thoughts were interrupted as he heard the gear sound only a tank could make. Jackson chanced a glance around the corner and his heart sank. "Somebody get those fucking Javelins up here! We got heavy armor!"

Feres.

With the attack a near enough a success the troops and tanks ceased fire as Major Chester, guarded by a section from Royal Marines, walked into the town slowly bearing a letter of temporary peace and conditions for the battle over Feres.
The letter said:

To, whom this may concern..

You and your men may be allowed to surrender and leave the town on the following conditions:
1. Any pilots captured or killed will be returned to Guern forces. (Dead bodies will be returned home for proper ceremonies)
2. Anyone left will be allowed to retreat without harm.
3. The town of Panagia must be free of your men and left for Guern troops to take control of.

On acceptance of the terms you may retrieve your casualties from the battlefield provided the men and/or women assigned to do so are unarmed. You have the promise of our nation that Guern forces will not open fire unless provoked to do so. If such terms where not met, or you disagree to comply, further conflict will be a 100% guarantee.

Also a ceasefire will take place on agreed timing.

Major Chester of the Royal Marines.

Meanwhile..

Guern forces completed their deployment in Selanko and began to take up positions in the town relieving the Marines. Army medics and field surgeons occupied the field hospital that had been deployed between the town and the bay.

The remainder of the armour took up positions ready to conduct an assault onto Panagia if needed while Marines and soldiers loaded onto Transport vehicles provided by the Royal Logistics Regiment. Hopefully the mercenaries would come to terms with the Guerns so that another battle wasn't needed.

Feres, Altis

"Do you have him?"

"Yes. Definitely officer."

"Accounted for windspeed? Drop?"

"Yeah. Range is 400 meters. I've done harder in worse conditions."

"Alright, you have my go. Fire at will."

Jackson cringed as the sniper's rifle cracked above the silence. The sniper had sent a round downrange to meet the officer holding the letter. The enemy shouldn't have ceased fire. The mistake would cost them their commander.

Jackson and the sniper were perched on the reverse-side of the roof of a two-story house on the edge of Feres. Jackson's troops had almost been completely removed from Feres and were basically waiting for a signal to turn and run the couple kilometers back to Panagla. The sniper shot was the signal. Within a half-dozen heartbeats, squads broke off and ran parallel to the road leading out of Feres towards Panagla. A quarter of teh force stayed behind to cover, armed heavily with AT weapons and suppressive LMGs. The AT-laden soldiers turned corners from cover and locked onto whatever vehicle they could see: tanks, trucks, IFVs, it didn't matter, civilian or military. They all opened fire nearly at the same time, sending a dozen anti-tank missiles downrange. This was a message to back off.

Jackson slowly started to slide down the roof. He glanced up at the sniper. "Stay in contact with the others on radio. I'm going down to help out on the ground." Jackson dropped to the ground with a thud and grabbed his assault rifle from off the ground. He lifted his personal radio to his mouth, "For those of you who volunteered to stay behind: We stay for only twenty minutes. Long enough to give the rest of the company a headstart to warn the rest of the battalion in Panagla. After that, we turn tail and run to RV with them. These guys will either be on our heels or they'll stay here. Either way, everyone: Fire at will!"

Feres.

As soon as the shot was fired everyone opened fire again sending a hail of bullets and tank rounds into the town. "Give 'em hell boys" a young officer screamed down the radio. Troops stationed in Selanko who already loaded up into vehicles soon entered the battle. The mercenaries crossed the line. Word went down the radio that these mercenaries had killed a Commanding Officer (CO). Attack Helicopters ascended once more from HMS Sarnia to rain hell on the enemy. A few tanks where destroyed along with a few more Huskies but they where soon replaced by the remainder stationed in Selanko. The town was going to be torn down and hopefully along with the enemy. A full scale attack on Panagia was already being planned after Selanko had fallen.

The Helicopters where quick to arrive sending waves of rockets into the town followed by a stream of bullets from their auto cannons.

The current goal of the troops was to annihilate all enemy forces in the area.

Selanko.

Injured troops where under treatment inside the Field Hospital before getting ready to send home. Many of the injured where unfortunately seriously injured and where expected to be out of service.
The Officer in Command (OC) of the Battle Group was at a table inside a tent along with Company Commanders and other Officer ranks discussing the plan ahead with the sound of heavy gunfire rattling through the town.
It was unfortunate that a CO had to die, however he was not as important as the enemy may have thought as a CO is only in command of a Company and easily replaced thanks to the ranking system of the Guern Military.

Feres

Short radio reported that the troops who'd left for Panagla were almost there. Jackson yelled out over his own radio, "Alright, everyone! We sure as shit can't stay here! They've got Feres, let 'em have it, we need to get out, now!" Jackson fired off a few more rounds. All the Javelins had been used up, and a couple troops fired the three Stingers they had at the helos in the air. Sadly, two of those troops had that act as their last, as the autocannons ground them down.

Jackson started rounding up the defenders of Feres. What was once two companies of 400 had been cut in half, then 150 of that had already gone to Panagla. Of his fifty defenders, Jackson counter roughly thirty as they started to back off from Feres, still laying down fire into the town, soldiers taking cover in the ditches or holes in the ground where the could find cover, mainly relying on the hope that the troops would stay in Feres to fortify it and search for anyone left behind.

Panagla

The battalion commander had had enough. He'd heard spotty reports from Feres over the radio, knew his force of a thousand spread over the two towns had been deeply wounded. The captured pilot was sat in front of him, cross-legged. In a fit of anger and retribution, the mercenary battalion commander pulled out his sidearm and summarily executed the helo pilot with no words. What was done was done. His battalion would rally in Panagla, and they'd defend it. No reinforcements would come from the rest of the regiment, since Pyrgos was a mess, and there was no time to move troops from another regiment. His troops were the line in the sand. If Panagla fell, then these invaders would have roads to Pyrgos and further north. That couldn't happen. The commander spoke into the radio, ordering his troops to get ready for an invasion, and to get ready to resupply the Feres company.

Colonel Rahim Khan.
Pyrgos.

As I got out, I heard the mass number of explosions. I got out my Chisti assault rifle. I fell down from the tremors and a number of my men as well. The missile strikes hit the Fitfth Battalion's departing. About 250 men. A few tanks and vehicles. I scowled as I rushed to begin discussing. Thankfully all my commanders were alive. I grudgingly walked and discussed with my men. Feres was taken before we can approach it. It was time to push the enemy when we can now. "Alright men, send in the Sixtieth battalion. They will travel to Feres and the Twenty-Fifth squadron will hammer heavy armor to make it simply easier. Once we gain foothold in the city, mobilize Fifth." I commanded.

The men set off at once, as I once more set off planning. The FIA were silent - but I bet the US will begin fortifying Kavala. If we can secure the Mazi beachhead, I think it would be certified that Guernseyan forces would have to retreat, and would have to cross either near Pyrgos or any other area we control from the North. While I knew the Zataristanis did a mistake retreating their ships, I think the new Molotovskiyan men could spare their fleets to fight the goddamn Americans.

I would have sent them a telegram, but the Altians said that maintenance on communications would take a few days. I shook my head and began writing battle plans.

Husseinbad, Huda – Yesterday, Presidente Zaheer said that the current war ongoing in Altis can reach a ceasefire, so long all parties interested to so are present. The scathing conflict entered a new stage when Zatari-Hudian and Molotovskiyan forces entered the country - to defend it against Guernseyan forces that had recently invaded the country. Another scathing attack by Organized States has left thousands of Altian residents killed or injured.

The Altian government has released mass numbers of propaganda videos and began mass recruitment for the army. The government has party been denouncing the militant stance the Altian monarchy is taking. The Hudian army has stated that an offensive to Feres will be beginning soon - and Operation Muktijudho Altis has begun. Not much is known about the situation, please sign in soon in Hudian Shurjo!

Altisian Waters

[BrigadeGen Schneider] "Admiral, we must move our group closer to the beach so we can deploy our main force, now that our forward base is established."
[Admiral Zeitmann] "Well, moving our group closer to the beach would make us even more vulnerable to attacks from anti-ship missiles. We should destroy the other forces naval group first."
[BrigadeGen Schneider] "As far as I know, we have 5 destroyers capable of anti aircraft and anti missile role, I think it's safe to lay our group in their protection."
[Admiral Zeitmann] "It is, and as for the enemy naval group, I'm going to dispatch an airgroup to take them out. Prepare your men General, we're going to move closer to Altisian coast."
[BrigadeGen Schneider] "Alright, I'll get my men ready."

The naval group, consisted of 9 ships, which composed of 2 amphibious assault ships, 5 destroyers and 2 logistic ships, headed towards Altis. They intended to anchor around 15 kilometers off the souternmost Altisian beach, meanwhile, a group of Dassault Rafales, consisted of 6 planes, each armed with 2 AS-4 Kitchen Anti ship missiles, and 2 IRIS-T missiles, the pinnacle of Molotovskiyan engineering, took off the deck of FMS Buggenhauser, towards a group of hostile naval force, about 300 miles off Altis, which had been spotted by satellite imaging. The group was thought to be the naval group which laid waste to the Zataristani naval force. It would take only minutes before the airgroup locks the hostile naval force in their radars, and launching their anti-ship missiles. In addition, the Lutjens class escorting destroyers readied their P-1000 anti-ship missile to supplement the attack on the hostile force, and was ordered to fire after the airgroup spot the hostile's naval force.

Altis, Forward Base 1

From the forward base, which was located on a plateau, which was connected to the mainland by a single narrow road, was strategic enough for the Molotovsch artilerry observers to observe the action surrounding them. To the east, they saw Feres, a town engulfed in a battle between two forces, and Panaglia, a town full of military vehicles and men, which seemed to be waiting. And to the north, they saw Pyrgos, which had numerous men military vehicles which also were seemed to be standing by. But that was all that could be seen, they couldn't identify the forces they saw. All they knew was that one force were retreating from Feres, and the other force were chasing them off. To identify the forces, Hauptmann Hoffman ordered his men to get a helicopter UAV to be flown towards Feres, and they did so. Hauptmann Hoffman then waited for the heli to reach Feres before making a further decision.
