Which state is your home state (united states).

Postby Timsvill » Wed Mar 25, 2015 7:14 am

The question is simple. Which state is your home state. If you were born in, lived in (for most of your life) , or you just really love that state, any one of those make a state your home state. So say you were born in washington, but moved to texas at 1 years old. And you lived in texas for most of your life. Then you can say texas as your home state. But if you lived in washington since birth, then washington is your home state.

My home state is texas. I wasn't born in texas, I was born in kattenburg Russia, I was adopted at 8 months old. I'm the oldest of three. My parents went back to Russia to get my youger brothers when they were born. Anyways. My dad was in the army, and he worked at the pentagon for most of my childhood till 2nd grade. At the end of my 2nd grade year, he retired then we moved to dallas. Where he got a job at lockeheed martin missiles and fire control. He worked there for 14 years. I'm currently at texas a&m university, so I lived in texas for 14 years. So texas is my home state and I'm proud of it! I love texas because its a great state. Good economy, good people.

So NSG (if you live in the United States) , which state is your home state, and if you like your home state, tell us why!

I have reason to suspect that the majority of NS'ers don't live in a US state.

South Carolina

I live in a part of it that has less of the stereotypical redneck (still a few) and more old rich people. Traveling around the state to different cities (Columbia, Charleston, Myrtle Beach, Greenville, just to name a few) I have an idea of what kind of people the state has. Other than the occasional idiot, everyone is alright. The state government doesn't quite share my political views. But other than that, I don't think I'd like to live in any other state in a while(High School student planning to go to the University of South Carolina).

The comma in the title is unnecessary and the country name should be capitalized.

Indiana. I've lived in New York, New Jersey, and Illinois as well, but Indiana is my home, and is the best state of the four. Haha.

Those who would be willing to secede from thier nation are not patriotic, and have no care for the nation they are in.

I was raised in western Pennsylvania. It was a town of 8,000, with a solid industrial mix, including continuous casting steel alloys for nuclear reactors. We had four passenger rail lines running through town. There are still many dairy farms. There have usually been two milk bottlers. Hunting and fishing are the most popular pastimes. There are many miles of unspoiled state game land. There was no ethnic diversity. We had several Native Americans, and one African American family. Two doctors were from Taiwan.

Well I was born out of nation and don't see The Untied States as my home, even though I have pretty much been raised here all my life (from age 2 because I know you care so much) In any case Illinois, Land of Lincoln!
