3. progress and setbacks in these processes

this thread is vastly different from the existing "LGBT Rights & Issues Thread", so pls do not merge or delete this. WE NEED OUR SPACE TOO.

Poe's Law makes me afraid to comment. That said, on the off chance this is a troll thread and I end up looking like a tool, I'll proceed anyway:

1) If you don't unconditionally accept LGBT equality, you're a terrible person. No one is "forcing" you with a gun to your head, but ostracizing and marginalizing bigots is something I'm all for.

2) LGBT people have the same reproductive rights, that's not a hetero issue.

People are born gay, and they can hardly change that. It's not really often about sexual abuse. I know many real stories about people getting raped in the childhood, and, in the adulthood, they still were heterosexuals.

Man, because, you know, there ain't no place in the modern world where I can encounter heterosexuality except most every movie, tv show, the default assumption of everyone I meet, the over arching social assumption that meeting and marrying someone is the raison d'etre of my entire life, etc etc...

Thank god someone decided to create a poorly conceived badly laid out 'me too' thread because he saw someone get something and, being so used to being catered to in every fleeting whim and never being denied a goddamn thing, thought "OOooo...I must need to counter oppression too! Let me invent some!"
