Lichtenstein "Meg-a-thread"

The German humorous political party Dei Partei (or "the party" in English), invaded Lichtenstein in 2009, with the intentions of abolishing serfdom and catching tax evaders. Although Dei Partei is supposed to be funny and not serious they do have a point here. Lichtenstein is one of those obnoxious little countries that run of tax evaders from far better countries. And not just that they are extremely backwards politically, they only gave woman the right to vote in 1984 and it passed with only 51% of the vote! Also in 2003 they gave their prince the power to veto stuff that the government proposes, he even threatened to sell the castle and move to Austria if they didn't let him do that, and guess what they still love him. I think Lichtenstein is probably the second worst country in Europe after Belarus (not counting Russia, that's a part of Asia). So what do you think should be done to these backward mountain people?

note. I'm being humorous here if you haven't noticed. Also you might notice the similiar setup to the thread in which Burleson proposed giving Muslims less rights (and was more serious about that than how I am about this).

I don't think you're allowed to call something a 'megathread' by yourself, even jokingly; the mods have to approve it, and they certainly won't. Megathreads are for when there are a bunch of threads about a similar subject popping up, so that NSG doesn't get clogged with them and stuff. This is certainly the first Liechtenstein thread I've ever seen. You should probably change the title. But I'm no mod.

Anyway, I heard they were taking some steps to become less of a tax haven relatively recently. And they're one of the only countries in the world to have more businesses than actual citizens, which I find strange and interesting (though not all too surprising).

But people who just discovered Lichtenstein exists think it's funny. See the reference to another small and unknown country in the poll.

Their politics are certainly eccentric (I say that with the experience of writing a whole ton of Wikipedia articles on Lichtensteiner politics). The whole saga of the "silent election" held in 1939 is a story unto itself, and the relationship between the two major parties is really closer to collusion than coalition.

But the country itself is quite pleasant to visit. I stayed in this really charming little guest house overnight in Balzers (I believe) while on a family trip in northern Italy. The hiking around Schloss Vaduz (the royal family's castle) is quite nice, as is the city of Vaduz itself. We all had a great chuckle when all of the ads in tourist materials we picked up were for banks.
