Once upon a time, it was only inhabited by nomads who traded goods between Persia and Egypt. But that all changed when Allah made Mohammed his prophet. He spread Islam to all corners of the globe and Arabia became the center of many great empires. Now, it is a center of many modern countries. However, that all changed in 2014 when the Yemeni Infidel Purgers, or YIP, took over the capital of Yemen and installed Sans Rekt as their leader. His terrorist and pirate organization, who now controlled vital trading routes, began attacking the coasts of mighty Xarcan. This conflict came to a boiling point when many Xarcanians and one Kiwi journalist died. They were attending a major sports event in Djibouti, in Xarcan, when a lone bomber of the YIP detonated his suicide vest. Therefore, Xarcanians, Kiwis, and many other nationalities came to Xarcan's aid in sending many elite anti-terror special forces to Yemen. After a long and bloody struggle, the people of Yemen were freed of the tyranny of Sans Rekt. Later, after being administered by Xarcanian armed forces, the people of Yemen unanimously voted in a referendum to become a new prefecture of Xarcan. Soon afterwards, all the people of Xarcan saw the light of Allah and were converted to Islam.
But, the Pope of Christian Constantinople saw these events and became jealous. He especially envied the many resources, such as oil and petroleum reserves, Yemen had within its borders. So, he sent an expedition of his armed forces to convert the adamantly Islamic peoples to Catholicism. They quickly abolished the blasphemous Sultanate and swept through the nation until it was annexed. Seeing these events unfolding, Xarcan's then president, Panas Kejam, sent our armed forces in Yemen to enter into Oman to counter this movement. This ended with a truce: Xarcan may incorporate the Dhofar province of Oman into their Arabian province and Christian Constantinople may settle the remaining areas of Oman as one of the pope's colonies. However, tension has proliferated this border since the truce.
Lastly, a new Islamic Empire was founded in Arabia, occupying the territories once known as Saudi Arabia. It is called Ishakarya and is home to Mecca, the holy land of Islam. Tensions have mounted in Oman after the Xarcanian Empire refounded itself on its traditional Islamic principles in an attempt to revive nationalism and unite the burgeoning empire. Two sides have emerged in New Zealandia. One supports Christian Constantinople and one supports Xarcan. Who will win this epic struggle?
