Close call near northern Draed

Postby Entrits » Fri Feb 20, 2015 7:45 pm

Weapons incident near Draed

After the Entrisian government blocked the proposition for the Cruitsian group to become an official political party, tensions rose to a new level today when weapons including guns and explosives were detained from about four people who claimed to be hikers in the region. The weapons were dispersed in backbacks, clothing, and a sled.

The Entritsian military has increased their coverage of the northern mountains due to increased threats of violent activities by the Cruits. This is the first time the Cruits in decades have persued as a group the inclination towards violent activity. While arms and people have been found trying to join the Cruits in the past, the type of arms they were transporting has policy makers nervous.

Ohino's Slight Change in Government

Postby Ohino » Sat Feb 21, 2015 7:40 pm

A law proposed by Queen Hunter will change the government a bit and also allow an expansion of Ohino itself. If this new law passes, Cities will be allowed to form in Ohino so people can live in the Kingdom and live in other cities. Ohino is also looking into expanding its territory also building other citys.

"I want to give people options" said the Queen during a press conference. "We don't think that Domar will give up more land but to the south, there is some opportunity."

There are people in the south that have been sending letters to Ohino's Government Center asking to be a part of the nation. Grace wants to start building more farms to export more goods. Also building more cities.

Companys based in Ohino has shown a presentation of the Future. Ohino will have more citys, build more expressways and more of a train network.

The council will vote on the new law tomorrow.

Plane Investigation Comes to a close

Postby Domar » Sun Feb 22, 2015 4:37 pm

The Domar Transport Safety Board has realised an Investigation of Wazekia Airlines Flight 7214, a flight that carried 267 people on board. A DC-10 From Ayossyk, Wazekia to Appendux, Domar, only 145 people survive the crash.

The people were taken to near by hospitals and a research center in Appendux for the Healing Tank treatment and were put into coma's for five days where they are completely healed from injuries.

From eyewitness accounts, black boxes and ATC the investigation has confirmed that the third engine exploded and somehow all of the hydraulic fluid has been realised making sure that the crew could not control the pitch, flaps, and direction. Forced to used there engines, they head to an Air Force base and crash land 5 miles from the runway.

After the investigation looked at the engine, they find that one of the blades on it have been cracked in a straight line. After a visit to the airline's headquarters, they found that maintenance never changed the blade in years due to budget cuts.

The investigation blames the airline for lack of maintenance and calls for changes. It calls for checking engines more frequently on older aircraft too keep this from happening again.

Daymin Long of Tern, Domar wanted to meet someone that he met online and wanted to see her for the first time coming in to Domar. But almost went down in a plane crash. Sara Thomas of Wazekia survived the crash and recovered from her injuries in the healing tank. Both of them are happy. She is just happy to be alive. Unlike others.

Lets just hope this never happens again.

Wazekia Rejects Domarian Investigation Findings; Tensions Simmer

AYOSSYK – The gates of the Ayossyk Airport are covered in flowers today, a sign of memorial for what has become the single largest loss of Wazekian life in over three decades. Candlelight vigils were held all across the nation, including a massive vigil in the capital which drew an estimated 500,000 people. In an address to the nation, President Jonan Kithar called for unity and support of those who lost loved ones in the plane crash. In addition to a moment of silence that was held across Wazekia, the President has also declared three days of national mourning.

As the nation comes to terms with the loss, a number of questions still remain over the exact cause of the crash. Domarian officials have recently closed their investigation, claiming that the accident was caused by Wazekia Airlines’ improper safety regulations brought about by budget cuts. Prime Minister Karolek Ertish lashed out in a speech today stating “It is absolutely ludicrous that a developed nation could have published such flawed report. They’d completely ignored the fact that the plane’s hydraulic fluid was somehow drained. They have also not explained how they found a cracked blade from an engine that was supposed to have exploded. I can only denounce this report on the strongest terms and look forward to the conclusion of our own investigation.” The Prime Minister has also summoned the Domarian Ambassador to ask for a more thorough explanation of the findings and why the Domarian government was so quick to blame Wazekia.

The accident comes at a rather unfortunate time for relations between Wazekia and Domar, which have been strained over the issue of the Domarian Air Force Bases being constructed in nearby Beiarusia and in Entrits. The move has seen several large Anti-Domarian protests erupt in the capital. Since the loss of Flight 7214, relations have soured even further. A recent graffiti near Ryzap’s Rynnok Station read “Domarians are Murderers” and had an outline of the nation of Domar dripping blood. The Wazekian Government has declined to say when their investigation will be finished.

The Final Frontier

Postby Entrits » Sun Mar 01, 2015 9:23 am

Image

Legislation was incredibly positive Friday with not only education reform but also integration of an appropriation for the installation of a space devision within the Entritsian central government. The division, named EASA (Entritsian Aeronautical and Space Association), has been given a central mission to "explore the final frontier of man as an essential imperative to the final directorate of humanity as an essential good." Such an appropriation as begin to show "a new light on technological advancement and education within the confines of Entrits."

The formation of EASA will be accompanied with the task of space research, development, global environmental research, technological inspirations, and possibly space travel and exploration. The Entritsian government as never before addressed the the quantifications of space research and travel. Such research has been of great interest recently after the interaction with the Republic of Leanore's space program.

After national talks and bills were put together the government widely accepted the need to "fuel the ever needing conception in man to travel and expand his knowledge."

Many peace rights have declared the space program an innovation in itself, as the government rejected the space program to be integrated and apportioned as a sub-department in the Defense Department. While EASA may integrate new technologies formed by the Defense Department or other military technologies, those technologies will only be integrated for the "peaceful development of intersteller initiatives."

While some constituents condemn congress for worrying about trivial and juvenile aspirations, the incorporation as been very positive.

EASA will begin planning and and building a sub-department building in Cail but also creating a large research and development building near Hayi. While only rumors, the first large telescope will begin development soon.

Domar Explains Plane Crash in Deeper Detail

Postby Domar » Sun Mar 01, 2015 10:19 am

The following is a press conference surrounding the Crash or Wazekia Airlines flight 7214:

"Welcome, today is March 1st." says Nayge Allen or the Domarian Transportation Safety Board. "We are here today to answer questions that the Country Wazekia has asked us. There has been conspiracy after conspiracy. We feel that we need to clean them up."

In the investigation, we know for a fact that the engine on the tale has exploded and somehow all of the Hydraulics are gone which made the plane almost unflyable. The Pilots stayed calm and used there two engines on the wings to control the plane. That is how they were able to line up to make an emergency landing at Jordan's Air Force Base.

Why did they crash 5 miles from the base?
The Investigation has concluded according to the black box recording that the pilots misjudged their distance from the airport to the plane itself. This is not the case though. ATC of Greenville, Domar at Greenville International told the pilots incorrect information on how far the AFB was from the plane. Since the plane had no Hydraulic fluid and it didn't pitch up in time.

How did an Engine explosion take out the Hydraulics?
This is the million dollar question. Here is a picture of a DC 10.
Image
Now here is a blue print.
Image
The engine on the tail exploded a little differently as you expect. The Investigation found holes in the side of the capsule for the engine and holes in the tail. It just so happens that when the engine exploded, shards went though the side and into the tail which happened to hold all of the Hydraulic fluid. So because there is now holes in the system, it empties due to air compression.

How can something like this happen?
The engine we found had a straight edge on it that it just sheared off. This is called Metal Fatigue. When metal is bent, its strong, but it you keep bending it in the same place, it will get weaker and weaker until it shreds in a straight line. Engines do this all of time, this is why in Domar is required that an engine needs to be replaced after every 5 years unless in good enough condition. The investigation looked into Wazekia Airlines maintenance records and the last time the engine blade was replaced was 15 years ago. To be honest, a DC 10's engines can last 7 years if its only ran in clear environments. Its amazing how it lasted this long. As we looked in how it did, we found little remnants of Gorilla Glue that was recently put on there we guess about a year ago. We quickly looked at how the company was acting then and we found that the Airline was going through a fallout in Budget cuts. This accident could have been prevented if it was not for the budget cuts.

"This investigation has concluded that Wazekia Airlines has violated safety regulations. And was 90% to blame. We also blame Greenville ATC for giving incorrect information to the pilots. We don't have much jurisdiction over the airline. So we will pass the updated report to Wazekia."

State of Emergence

Postby Entrits » Wed Mar 04, 2015 9:41 pm

Image

Three days ago the possible shift in politics may move towards a new region of governance. Coming from previous Korovian countries, an idea emerged for a merging of the two regions Britantion and Laymena.

Talks have begun between the Secretary of State of Laymena, the Republic of Entrits and the Secretary of Public Relations of Britantion, the Free Frontier. While talks have not come to a conclusive and adequate position for both regions, there are signs of progress. One such progress being a formal bill introducing the merger that might become public in the next few days mattering on the Presidents of the two countries wishes.

Possible detriment to the formation of the region comes from land formation, power struggles, and inadequacies is laws. While there are many problems to traverse, the Republic of Entrits has made it clear that every option will be open as a possibility.

5 March 2015

Beiarusian troops push into Bergueten

Nationalist forces have confirmed their crossing into Bergueten territory following the assassination of king Reginald IV and the subsequent destabilizing collapse of the kingdom’s government. Refugees have since flooded into Beiarusia’s Anders Region, creating a security nightmare as Anarchist continue to gather strength in Ven. Though an end goal has yet to be defined, the Nationalist government has made clear its intent of securing its eastern border and has fully committed to ending hostilities between former government troops and oppositional forces.

Though the full scale of the operation has yet to be ascertained it is known that a sizeable deployment of troops and hardware – including units formerly deployed in Acturn Valley – have pushed deep into Bergueten territory ultimately with the intent of reaching the capital of Hannenberg. The Beiarusian State Department has declined to comment on the goal of the operation citing security concerns.

King Reginald IV was assassinated on February 17 by an unknown gunman outside Hannenberg City Hall. Following the monarch’s death the government of Bergueten found itself divided as various parties sought to wrestle control of the nation from both internal and external adversaries, a situation which quickly devolved into civil war. Anarchist have been confirmed active within Hannenberg and are suspected to have played a role in the assassination. Their connection with Beiarusian Anarchist has yet to be made known.

Protests have sprung up around and throughout the country decrying Beiarusian involvement in an internal conflict. Calls have been made for foreign powers to force the Nationalist government to stand down, citing a renewal of Beiarusian imperialism and being quick to cite the often hostile relationships the two nations have shared in the past, including the Ven Offensive and the Crossroads War among several other conflicts. Tensions between the two nations remained high up to and until the annexation of Beiarusia by the Empire of Kato, after which the Kingdom of Bergueten adopted a neutral stance when confronted with a powerful foreign government. Recently tensions briefly flared following the restoration of the Landvik monarchy as Bergueten refused to acknowledge the legitimacy of the Nationalist government, leading to various accusation of their supporting of Loyalist forces in the Anders Region, an area formerly under Bergueten control. Though the accusations have since been proven false they did nothing to aid in creating a stable diplomatic relationship between the nations.

The Loyalist government has yet to address the issue.

As the Bergueten kingdom collapses the Landvik monarchy finds itself in prime position to expand into new territory, and though the Beiarusian State Department has neither confirmed nor denied the possibility of annexing Bergueten territory it first must quell the violence that has overtaken Hannenberg and various other parts of the failing nation. Is this a sign of Beiarusian imperialism? What consequences could such an action bring about? Voice your opinions at BNN.bei.

Negotiations begin in Csoling

Nationalist and Loyalist ambassadors have arrived in the Wazek city of Csoling to begin negotiations to further cool hostilities between the two governments if not to bring about a complete end to open warfare. The two sides of the ongoing civil war agreed to peace talks late last week following a decisive Nationalist victory at Acturn Valley. Despite the apparent advantage held by the Landvik monarchy neither side is willing or capable of marching further into conflict, and with tensions rising throughout the nation both governments are seeking a quick and reasonable end to the war.

Loyalist forces have faced an ever growing supply shortage since the departure of the Katian Empire and the loss of support from DiaMant Group. Having failed to bring about a victory in Thames, and with growing internal tensions as Anarchist continue to pose a greater and greater threat, the Loyalist government has been forced into negotiations in a last ditch effort to maintain power within Beiarusia, a move that has left the Loyalist fiercely divided. Alternatively the Nationalist government has overexerted itself and marching north in Anlow or Rickten would prove a costly endeavour. Though willing to commit to war if need be, the Landvik monarchy wishes for a peaceful solution so that other matters may be handled more efficiently.

Negotiations will begin tomorrow afternoon and will be presided over by Wazek officials.

Military research and development have proposed the construction of such weapons costing around 1.5-2.5 billion dollars. Of course Environmentalists are concern but so are the citizens of Leonlong. Nuclear waist all over the world or nuclear leaks can damage people, plant, and animals all over a region. Scientist and community leaders have begun pleading with the central government to not create such deadly weaponry, but to create weapons for protection.

In other news the mayor of the islands off the coast of leonlong has partition the president to reconsider construction of a bridge saying it would destroy the beauty of the land and ruin the air quality. Engineers of a corporation have a solution that connect these island with leonlong with an underground rail system able to carry cargo in between both but the citizens don't with for any intervention of anything for Leonlong.

4 People Killed many Injured after Protest near Feidler Airp

Postby Entrits » Sun Mar 08, 2015 10:00 am

Incident

Earlier this morning 4 people were killed and many more injured when protesters and Entritsian military units clashed in front of the boundries to Feidler Airforce Base. What was supposed to be a peaceful protest against Entrisian support of Beiarusia and the building of new Airforce base ended when shots and yells where heard near the right side of the protests.

Protests have increased in the last few days as immigrants from a nearby country flooded the area near and around Ven, increasing the number of people in the area whole dislike the Beiarusian government. Radical anarchist, who have supported Cruitsian claims against the Entrisian, have also increased lately, tipping the balance against Entrits as well as Beiarusia in the area.

Nobody is exactly sure who started the clash first as sides differ on who is at fault. Military officials state that protesters became extremely rough as protests began throwing rocks as troops guarded the boundries between Ven and Feidler. After a few minutes of tension, Entritsian soldiers claim that protesters began to move closer while throwing rocks and other objects. Entrisian soldiers claim that one man within a group of a few other man brandished a pistol and pointed it at a few soldier. That's when an Entrisian soldier fired at the man killing him. 3 others protesters rushed the soldiers and bludgeoned one soldier, who died earlier today. 2 of the protesters beating the soldier were shot as the rest of the protesters began to flee. The Entritsian military base confirms that 7 soldiers where injured during the clash.

The protesters differ and say that Entritsian fired upon them with no provication and that the people acted in self defense as they saw their friends and family being engaged for no reason. Head protesters say they will be coming out in force tomorrow night at Feidler to protest the incident. Head Protester Dean Anderson yelled "We will not allow these government fear mongers to scare us from what we believe is right. The Entrisian people have supported a government that has subjected us to serious harms and burdens. We want change!"

Peace Agreement Reached in Csoling

After three long years of fighting peace has finally returned to the Beiarusian region as the Nationalist and Loyalist governments formally accept a long term peace deal to end hostilities with the ultimate goal of reunifying the country. This brings about an end to a vicious civil war that has killed an estimated 17,000 since its start in February 2012.

Nationalist and Loyalist ambassadors meeting in the neutral city of Csoling, Wazekia came to the agreement late Saturday evening. Their respective governments were quick to accept the terms brokered out in the deal though several high ranking Loyalist officials continue to remain opposed to the agreed upon terms. Despite the hesitancy the vast majority of the civilian population is in support to the end of hostilities as the Loyalist north finds itself more and more isolated from the rest of the world. Furthermore, Anarchist established in the northern cities of Anlow and Rickten have made clear the need for outside support should the situation devolve as it has in the city of Ven.

Hundreds of thousands have taken to the streets all across Beiarusia in celebration to the end of the war. Though the Beiarusian State Department has been cautious of declaring outright victory given the circumstances of the negotiations, the end of the conflict has no doubt cemented the Landvik monarchy in its place as head of the Beiarusian state.

A treaty is currently in the process of being written and ratified. From information released from Csoling it will contain the following articles:

    • Recognition of the Landvik monarchy
    • Integration of the Nationalist and Loyalist militaries
    • Establishment of the Loyalist Party within Parliament
    • Partial autonomy for the Kale and Polatsuka Regions

Nationalist Forces Push into Hannenberg

A large Nationalist force has secured large portions of the former Bergueten capital despite fierce resistance from both Government and Opposition forces.

The Beiarusian State Department has made clear its intentions of stabilizing the region and has not yet ruled out the possible annexation of the Bergueten territory. Despite this several large protests have sprung up in various cities decrying Beiarusian involvement in a foreign affair, citing Beiarusian imperialism and the needless use of a growing military.

Government to Subsidized Aspects of Beiarusian Life

In response to a skyrocketing tax rate the Beiarusian State Department has proposed legislation that would socialize various aspects of the economic sector as well as offering free public services to the population. The legislation seeks to create a free Healthcare and Education system as well as subsidizing Agriculture and other non-state owned industries in an effort to drive costs down to near nothing for Beiarusian citizens. A vote will take place in the coming week.

BREAKING NEWS: 4 Killed Outside Feidler AFB

Postby Beiarusia » Sun Mar 08, 2015 10:39 am

8 March 2015

Protests Turn Violent

Four have been killed, and several more injured, following a protest outside Feidler AFB.

Protesters amassed near the Entrisian AFB early today in response to the growing presence of foreign powers within Beiarusia. It has been reported that several protesters brandished weapons which led to a brief engagement with Entrisian soldiers, leading to the deaths of 3 Beiarusian citizens and 1 Entrisian soldier. Alternatively is has been suggested that the Entrisian soldiers fired unprovoked into the protesting crowd.

Tensions have remained high following the reformation of the Anarchist Movement within the Anders Region, tensions further strained by the large influx of refugees in the region. Protests in and around Ven have often targeted government policies and the reestablishment of the Landvik monarchy. Recently an outcry has been heard concerning Beiarusian involvement in neighboring Bergueten, which some have likened to an invasion.

The recent exchange at Feidler AFB has left the Nationalist government with little chance of smoothing tensions. Entrits and Beiausia has since forged a close alliance since the revival of the monarchy, but failure to act may further polarize tensions in the troubled region.

Dispatches have been sent to the Entrisian government and a separate investigation is currently ongoing. A detachment of Guardsmen has also been deployed to the city of Ven and the surrounding regions.

Chief of the Technate Soni Gan, only in office for six months, won a major victory today when she announced that the Technocratic College had passed a resolution shedding Athretvari's isolationist policy and opening it "up to the world". She seemed overwhelmed as she was answered with thunderous applause from members of the Federal Lotterial College, the Technate's lower legislative chamber.

Chief Gan Speaks to Lotterial College
Chief Gan who won a hotly contested battle to become the Technate's head of state and government with the support of progressive factions within the Lotterial College, had promised to discard the decades long self-imposed isolation intiated at the beginning of General Szungga's dictatorship, but not yet lifted twelve years after his death. Chief Gan promised Lotterial College members that her administration would begin to establish a strong diplomatic standing around the world representive of the nation's great industrial and military capabilities.

Said Chief Gan at the Lotterial College 3rd Plenary Conference in Nivârima on Saturday, "The time has come for us to open up, to welcome, and to engage. We must set out upon this adventure, and seize the great opportunities that will arise from this awesome endeavor to insure our nation's peace and prosperity."

Chief Gan sought to assure conservative faction members by stating that Athretvari would be diligent in its affairs, and not enter into hasty agreements. But she also sought to appease economic faction members by promising to seek out trade deals with major active powers throughout the world.

"Do not fear, the promotion of mutually beneficial trade will be a core principal upon which our diplomatic efforts will be focused."

In the last couple of days the central government has been arguing on building an underground train connection between it and the barrier islands. Many of the islanders are not happy with the decision and don't want much of leonlongs intervention. However even though they don't wish for it the eco-friendly agency built in 1878 to Protect wildlife habitats and the environment have agreed with this because it cuts the emissions from traveling between the two territories. Also the government is also considering cutting some of the unnecessary laws for corporations such as the major industry sectors and the medical sectors. These are the low and none important rulers and regulations that both sides see as a waiste and that reduces progression. However the government is in fact keeping a close eye to ensure that these sectors follow each of the new guidelines.

In other news drug agency report that the nation is one of the hardest to smuggle in drugs of any kind into the country. However even with them cracking down on the import they still cant seem to touch the drug lords behind it all. With international relationship being weak since the apparent terrorists attack and war not to long ago, many nearby regimes have yet to trust the nation.
Earlier today mount. Rumpus erupted from its three hundred year old slumber and has begun to show heavy plumes of ash and smoke. The surrounding areas have been evacuated and others on standby if this eruption becomes anymore dangerous. The good news of this is with Leonlongs advance earthquake and volcano sensors they were able to predict nearly just when the eruption would take place. For the past few weeks the mountain had stirred up and thankfully no one was injured. The down side is so far about 2000 square miles of nature has been destroyed by the mountain and the surrounding areas have been stuck hard.

Thank you and have a good night.

Attempted Assassination in Tiim

People Running from shooting.

Today, in the city of Tiim, people flee the scene of an assassination attempt on the governor of Tiim while he was waiting in his car. Governor Fredrick Dail has been an outspoken proponent of increasing action against the Cruitsian radical group. While the assassination attempt failed to kill the governor his security officer, Daren Stevens, was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the shoulder and chest. Dail's staff told ENT News that Stevens in stable condition at the moment and will undergo surgery later today.

The man who attempted the assassination was shot after he fired his second shot. The man who has not been was taken to the hospital and died before he could answer any questions.

Many people are considering branding the Cruitsian group a terrorist group, the first official terrorist organization in Entrits history.

10 March 2015

Beiarusian Armed Forces Secure Hannenberg

As fighting intensifies between Government and Oppositional forces within Bergueten, Beiarusian Armed Forces have succeeded in securing large parts of the former capital of Hannenberg with little resistance. This comes mere hours after BAF assets began the enforcement of a No-Fly-Zone over the city and surrounding region.

The collapse of the Bergueten government several weeks prior has created a security nightmare for the Beiarusian government and specifically so in the troubled Anders Region which lies on the Beiarusia/Bergueten border, prompting the deployment of Beiarusian military forces in a bid to bring stability to the territory. With the Bergueten government in tatters talks have been held by the Beiarusian State Department of annexing the former nation’s territory, a potential move that has led to a vocal outcry over apparent Beiarusian imperialism. The Beiarusian State Department has declined to comment but has repeatedly stated that securing Beiarusia’s borders is a priority that will be accomplished with the best possible course.

Further stoking the growing tension of the region the government of Virancia, Beiarusia’s southern neighbor and ally of the former Bergueten monarchy, has condemned the Landvik monarchy’s actions and have since closed the borders near Leyte in retaliation. Political diplomacy with the Virancian kingdom ceased following the Crossroad’s War, and though the Empire of Kato and Virancia enjoyed neutral relations tensions have again increased following the reestablishment of the Landvik monarchy.

As a sign of hope, reactions within Bergueten have remained positive as Beiarusian forces continue to bring security to a nation devolving into civil war. A referendum will be held in the following days to decide the course of Beiarusia’s actions within Bergueten.

Protests Continue Outside Feidler

Protesters continue to gather near Feidler AFB following the deadly exchange which claimed the lives of four, including that of an Entrisian soldier. The air force base, belonging to foreign power Entrits, has drawn no end to controversy since its construction last month, with claims of abuse against both the Beiarusian and Entrisian governments.

The Beiarusian government, specifically the Landvik monarchy, has been accused of various crimes against humanity following the destructive Battle of Ven in late January which claimed many civilian lives. In the weeks following aid to the ruined city was hampered due to continued war in the north, and with security concerns growing many turned to the growing Anarchist Movement as a source of leadership. The Ven Riots and the influx of foreign refugees further turned the local populace, claiming significant cultural differences, against the Landvik monarchy and ruling Nationalist government. The close alliance between Beiarusia and Entrits is seen as a pact between two corrupt governments and both have been accused of provoking tensions throughout the region, something which the Beiarusian State Department denies.

During the initial protest outside Fiedler three civilians were shot and killed after an Entrisian soldier was severely beaten, later dying at a local hospital. Both sides have since claimed differing stories of events happening that morning, prompting an independent Beiarusian investigation. Actions taken by the Beiarusian State Department may potentially harm diplomatic relationships with the Republic of Entrits or, more concerning, invite more acts of violence within the region.

Currently the Entrisian ambassador and several Beiarusian officials are meeting to discuss ways of easing tensions within the Anders Region, a goal that may well be helped by aid currently in route by the nation of Domar that is to be used in rebuilding areas damaged in Leyte, Thames, and Ven. Currently the investigation is ongoing.

Attack in Entrits Prompts Beiarusian Reaction

Following the attempted assassination of Entrisian governor, Fredrick Dail, the Beiarusian State Department has unanimously voted in the blacklisting of the Cruitisan Radicals operating within Entrits as a terrorist group. While the move is predominantly symbolic it will serve to further sever ties between the Entrisian Cruits and Beiarusian Anarchist.

Currently the only other group blacklisted by the Beiarusian government is Thunbergia’s DiaMant Group, who have been accused repeatedly of providing arms to terrorist operating within Beiarusia and in aiding in the Highway 4 Bombing last February.

The Anarchist Movement, while thought to be responsible for several violent acts, including the attempted assassination of King Gyles Landvik last month, have yet to be labeled a terrorist organization in fear of inviting more devastating attacks throughout the nation.

Mount Rumpus

After the large scale eruptions by Rumpus two days ago and the destruction from the pyroclastic flow of yesterday the Mountain has become silent. Scientist estimate about fourteen tons of ash came from the mountain. Being that he has been silent for a while and now a large opening remains at the top it will be closely monitor for the rest of the countries lifetime.

Central Government

In other news the Central government has made their decision on their citizens in the soon warring nation to the south called Maule. Maule has been on the verge of a civil war for about a month and several Leonlongians are in the nation. The government has begun to send in recovery teams to extract their citizens. Also the government is saving money for relief efforts if a civil war does breakout. It's estimated that over 2.7 million dollars is going to be needed with the relief efforts.

Also in the government has signed for the investigation of nuclear weapons. However as to please the environmentalists and public retaliation they agreed to build only one hundred nukes and two hundred other nuclear weapons. These weapons will be used as a last resort and only as a last resort and all possible efforts are thoroughly used.
The government is also have chips implanted in the guns to know where these guns are. Many citizens are extremely pleased with this because they don't have to worry about the game gun ever being lost or robbed. The design of these chips are unclear so far we can tell that it is part of the gun.

Now for our top story. The nation has finally allow its citizens to vote for the judges in the supreme courts based on their careers. Ever since the death of the oldest supreme judge dieing at 108 years of age. This has sparked some controversy all over the government but the citizens has voted on it and up to 85% says they want this change. 10% doesn't care and the remaining 5% says no. The public has spoken and this does allow more to see certain parts of the government in a brighter light.

This is leonlong national news with the nations top news stories.

Beiarusian State Department to vote on Bergueten annexation

Following a quickly held poll in the nation of Bergueten the prospect of annexation by the Landvik monarchy has been seen as generally favorable by the local population, prompting the Beiarusian State Department to officially convene to discuss this matter. Should the annexation process be approved the nation of Beiarusia will stand to double in size seemingly overnight.

Despite the potential economic boost that would benefit both territories, harsh criticisms have been levied against the Nationalist government. The Anders Region, having once belonged under the banner of the Kingdom of Bergueten, has been most vocal over what many accuse of Beiarusian imperialism. Dissidents within Bergueten have also taken offense to the hastily established poll, accusing Beiarusian officials and sympathizers of manipulating the results to suit their own agenda. Others have shown concern over the government’s ability to bring stability to a region after only just bringing peace to its own.

Analyst have pointed to this matter being that of circumstance regarding the Nationalist government and its storied past alongside the Landvik monarchy. During the 19th century the Kingdom of Beiarusia stood as a prominent nation on the continent with the potential of becoming a world power should its influence have continued to grow, but various mismanagements and civil war led to the kingdom’s eventual demise in the 20th century. With the monarchy’s revival and recent victory in uniting the nation as a whole, the situation within Bergueten may be that of Beiarusia flexing its influence once again.

As the Beiarusian State Department moves forward with its vote the Kingdom of Virancia, an ally to former king Reginald IV, has bolstered its rhetoric against the Landvik monarchy, claiming intentional violation of a nation’s sovereignty. Prince Dimitri II, who fled to Virancia following his father’s assassination, stands to inherit the Bergueten throne, though a fractured government and few overall supporters have impeded such an action.

The Beiarusian State Department is expected to reach a resolution within the coming days.

      - Annexation of the Kingdom of Bergueten by the Kingdom of Beiarusia:

        51% For
        49% Against

BAF assets deployed to Domar

With the rise of violent secessionist groups within Domar, the Beiarusian State Department has pledged its support in aiding the Republic of Entrits, a close ally of the Landvik monarchy, whose air base now stands on the front lines of the conflict.

The 26th Attack Squadron “Lancer” is confirmed to having been deployed to the nation of Domar. A detachment of the Nationalist Army as well as Kolt Avionics special assets will accompany the BAF squadron. The aircraft will be operating out of Booths AFB, an Entrisian military base located within Domar near the city of East Ohino, and will be cooperating with Entrisian forces in combating the Sisterhood Cult whose burning of Groton sparked international. Despite the notoriety of the Cult the deployment has been recognized as negligible in terms of military might, though the potential for future escalation has remained open should the need arise.

Critics of the Nationalist government have lambasted the move, stating that corporate lobbying has led to a waste of resources and potentially the lives of Beiarusian soldiers in what is generally seen as a distant affair. Aircraft produced by Kolt Avionics Corporation, the largest arms producer in Beiarusia, will be taking part in live fire exercises alongside BAF assets, though the Beiarusian State Department has claimed that Kolt’s involvement was coincidental.

Currently the Nationalist government has no plans for escalating military strength within Domar, preferring at this moment to operate in an auxiliary capacity.

In response to the growing call to arms against the alleged terrorist group, the Sisterhood Cult, the Kingdom of Monemvasia issued a statement early this morning declaring their neutrality.

"The fact of the matter is, we know almost nothing about the group, nor have we seen any evidence that they actually were responsible for the apparent attack on Groton that killed 3,000 people. We don't even know the nature of the attack, beyond what Domar news agencies have reported, which is vague in of itself. We must be cautious whenever it comes to the use of military force, especially in matters which do not directly concern us."

Thaddeus Doukas,
Monemvasia Minister of Foreign Affairs

At the same time, the Armed Forces announced it will be keeping a close eye on foreign military deployments and respond to any threats, both from the Sisterhood and any nations attempting to exploit the current situation.

BREAKING NEWS

Postby Leonlong » Fri Mar 13, 2015 8:27 am

For the past four days the nation has been in a chaotic mess. Starting us off with an eruption from Mount. Rumpus following pyroclastic flows raging the surrounding areas. Next came the storm that has hit last night. This stir ravaged the northern shoreline and submerged about five miles inland. This has led thousands homeless and without jobs. Here with me now if Professor Yuri from the university of Leonlong. He is also lead scientist of Disasters. Professor what do you and your department make of this.

Professor: These chain of disasters are actually a norm for our nation. In the past our land has received numerous disasters and from time to time they have coincided with one another. The last time this occurred was 180 b.c. However these events are so rare that when it happens it drastically changes the landscape completely. The last time this occurred the beach we have today was ten miles out, as you can see though this only happened for two reasons. The first was an earthquake occurred lowering the sea floor. The second is a large tsunami crashed into the land flooding the area. How ever mount. Rumpus didn't erupt that year but ten years later and has so since, but thankfully we are able to monitor him as he erupts.

So this is normal for the land?

Professor: Yes. However we believe there maybe two more storms to come but not as powerful. So I advise that you listen closely to the news.

Thank you professor. Later today we will learn the out come for a few of the major issues sweeping the nation.

Treaty of Csoling to go into effect

The Treaty of Csoling, signed last week by the Nationalist and Loyalist governments in Csoling, Wazekia, has gone into effect starting today, bringing about an official end to the war which has divided Beiarusia since early 2012.

As per the terms of the treaty, the Kale and Ryaaka Regions of Beiarusia will remain partially autonomous, leaving the Loyalist government a seat of power in the nation’s north. While bound to the Landvik monarchy and federal legislation (for which the Loyalist Party has been formed) the opposing government will retain much of the freedoms it had while in exile from Thames. Though many look favorably to this outcome, some have voiced their concerns about the potential abuse of power from the monarchy in terms of limiting Loyalist policies. A small opposition has staged rallies calling for, if need be, independence from Beiarusia and the Landvik monarchy. A fringe minority, their power to illicit discourse has been hindered by the threat of Anarchist within their ranks.

Despite this, the terms of the treaty have been seen as favorable to the vast majority of those in seats of power, and though wounds may take time to heal the Treaty of Csoling serves as a start to uniting the Beiarusian people.

Eldridge Memorial Hospital reopens in Ven

As aid work continues in the battered Anders Region, Eldridge Memorial Hospital has again opened its doors in part to the efforts of Entrisian volunteers.

The hospital, the largest in region surrounding Ven, was damaged significantly damaged during the conflict between Nationalist and Loyalist forces last January, forcing its closure and the relocation of patients to smaller clinics. As public services continue to slowly come back online, the reopening of the hospital stands as a major victory in the reconstruction of Ven and its citizens.

Though still far from being completed, vital sections of the hospital are again open and are already serving the populace.

Beiarusian State Department votes Yes to Bergueten annexation

Following a controversial referendum, the Beiarusian State Department has voted to annex the territory of Bergueten whose central government has largely fallen to shambles following the assassination of King Reginald the IV. The process is set to begin immediately despite vocal outcries by oppositionist.

Protesters gathered outside the Ven City Hall voicing their outrage over the act. Ven, and the Anders Region as a whole, was once a part of the Kingdom of Bergueten before being acquired by Beiarusia during the Ven Offensive. Over the years talks have been made of rejoining the eastern kingdom though nothing ever came of the idea. Though rallies have so far remained peaceful it is feared that Anarchist will use this to increase their numbers. In Bergueten itself the population has been split over the issue though generally the annexation is looked favorably upon.

More concerning, however, is the fierce rhetoric of Beiarusia’s southern neighbor, the Kingdom of Virancia which currently houses Prince Dimitri II, heir to the Bergueten throne. Though the monarchy within Bergueten has largely collapsed, the Virancian government has made claims of Dimitri’s right as ruler to the country, claims which the Beiarusian State Department has largely dismissed.

More information will be released as the annexation process takes form.

17 March 2015

Annexation of Bergueten Finalized

Nearly a week after the controversial referendum in the Kingdom of Bergueten, the Beiarusian State Department has finalized plans for the annexation of all Bergueten territory in a move that will see the Kingdom of Beiarusia double in size overnight. However, despite the benefits Beiarusia stands to gain from such an action, many have become vocal in their stand against what has recently been referred to as the revival of imperialism.

Protests have continued in Ven and throughout the Anders Region near nonstop since the referendum first took place last week. Anders, a region of Beiarusia with a predominantly Bergueten cultural heritage, has in recent times become a hotbed of Anarchist and anti-government activities, and it is expected that potentially violent groups will only continue to grow despite attempted inroads towards peace. Anders and the city of Ven were captured during the brief war between Beiarusia and Bergueten known as the Ven Offensive, and attempts at reunification have often been rejected by both the Landvik monarchy and the Empire of Kato. A potential secession was proposed during the Beiarusian War for Independence (alternatively the Second Beiarusian Civil War) but was all but forgotten following the Nationalist victory at Ven. Anarchist and other anti-government movements have since thrived in the war torn environment of Anders, and with the annexation of Bergueten reunification has since become a mute point.

Citizens of Bergueten have continued to become increasingly divided as three very different camps take form: those in support of Beiarusia, those in support of Prince Dimitri II, and Oppositionist who stand opposed to both. Beiarusian forces have secured the capital city of Hannenberg and large portions of the Heldge Region, an effort made all the more easy with the support of government officials in favor of annexation. Oppositionist have staged rallies throughout Bergueten denouncing the Landvik monarchy and though threats have been made they have yet to receive credible attention despite the group’s apparent involvement in the assassination of King Reginald IV. More pressing tensions have instead arose from Beiarusia’s south in the Kingdom of Virancia, which currently houses Prince Dimitri II who fled after his father’s death. Though the prince has yet to make any public acknowledgement concerning his right to the Bergueten throne, Virancia and loyal government forces within Bergueten have pledge to see the reinstatement of the crown and do stand to pose a credible threat. Despite this the Beiarusian State Department has yet to release a statement concerning the rhetoric emanating from the southern kingdom.

Legal documents are currently in the process of writing to formalize and legalize the annexation of the Bergueten territory while Beiarusian forces continue to secure the destabilized region. It is expected that the transition will be predominantly peaceful in regions near the Beiarusian border and that further regions will follow suit in time.

Renewed Power Plan: Nuclear Energy

Postby Entrits » Wed Mar 18, 2015 7:55 pm

Image
Yesterday, March 17, the government of Entrits announced the integration of nuclear energy as the main power source for Entrits. After a few months of testing low grades of uranium in small and heavy water reactors and perfecting the enrichment process, the Entritsian Atomic Energy Commission (EAEC) believes that the nation is ready to implement nuclear power on a large scale.

While full nuclear complicity wont be possible for years, the commission believes that a large nuclear energy complicity can be successfully and safely created within months due to a large amount of nuclear infrastructure build up. While Entrits has one nuclear reactor already running outside of Cail, new reactors will be built in a timely manor.

While there are some who are critical of the expansion of nuclear energy as a sustainable resource, most have responded positively to the announcement. The state has stated that "it is critical that the nation explore and continue to entertain new ways of developing safe, sustainable, and environmentally stable energy resources and will continue to align with multiple power sources for the betterment of society." Nuclear power will not be the only power resource as both coal, wind, and solar energy will still be in use with coal power plants to be continuously reduced due to it's environmental effect in the future.

Still, some people are skeptical. Many have not been convinced that nuclear power is the right option. Skeptics claim that while nuclear energy is a powerful resource that reduces effects on the environment, the process of waste disposal is still a very costly and possibly damaging cost. With the slight possibility of nuclear meltdowns, security concerns, and the worry of weapons of mass destruction development, some believe the cost are just to high.

EAEC addressed such issues by stating that nuclear reactors will only be placed in safe locations and will be expected to abide by very stringent security and safety precautions. Disposal ideas and facilities will be built with minimal damaging effects to the populous and environment and nuclear energy for the development of weapons is not currently in development.

It is once again time for Entrits to undergo its search for the most watched movie this "movie season." A undertaking that extremely competitive, tempers are hot and actors and actresses are hotter than ever in their attempt to become part of the next big thing. Receiving votes from all around Entrits, the vote have been calculated and are now here!

#1 Frozen
#2 March of the Penguins
#3 Jack Frost
#4 Titanic
#5 Happy Feet

Ok this isn't right is it? Yes, ok then Entrits... there you go? Top 5 movies viewed this movie season... Lets look at the comments that came out after the announcement was made public.

When asking a biddy from upper Entrits about her feeling of Frozen being number one on the list her response was, "OMG like #tots my life," as she stumbled away from a frat party. I am sorry for all that had to see that comment. I hope you have not lost as many brain cells as I have.

When asking other actors about how they felt about the list some where very confused as to how a penguin beat them in the ranking. I mean come on... look at them... they are adorable... with their little feet and... never mind then. I guess in short they will just have to "let it go."
