06/02/2015 - Elektrograd Purchases Several Retired ZAF Su-24M2 Ground Attack Jets, JSu-97 Toran Officially in Full Service With Zolevskoyan Air Force

Just yesterday, the sale of 25 Su-24M2 attack jets to Elektrograd was finalized. The Zolevskoy Air Force retired all Sukhoi Su-24M2 ground attack jets in mid-January 2015, after serving for more than 5 decades with both the former Zolevskoy People's Army Air Force and the current Zolevskoy Air Force.

The entire inventory of Su-24M2s will be replaced by the new JSu-97 Toran fighter-bomber jets. The development of the JSu-97 began during early 2014, and officially entered service in the beginning of February 2015, though there have been rumors of it being used in the Zolev-Ordian War in November and December 2014.

The JSu-97 Toran is a two-seated fighter-bomber based off the Russian-made Sukhoi Su-34 Fullback. It is based off the Zolevskoyan JSu-90, though the Su-34 itself is based off the Su-27 Flanker. The JSu-97 is designed primarily as a ground attack jet with the capability to carry many types of missiles, ranging from short range air-to-air missiles to cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles and even nuclear missiles. It is capable of operating in poor weather conditions and during the day and night. The jet can reach speeds of up to Mach 1.8+ and has a very large operational range of up to 1,200 kilometers.

"This sale is towards a stronger Zolev-Elektrogradian friendship," Zolevskoy Defense Forces Commander-in-Chief, Colonel Alexej Zdislav stated today. "The friendship between our two nations is vital in order to keep the political and military pressure on the Caetellan government and Zolevskoy Democratic Republic Party terrorists. If both continue their reign of terror and warmongering in the region, they could eventually face total isolation from the international community." He further stated.

Meanwhile, Yakzistan has also displayed interest in purchasing some Su-24M2 jets from Zolevskoy. A deal could be underway currently, though it is not known to the public yet.

League of Communists slam Sarkozkan Communist Party in Decision to "Stalinize" country.

A few days ago Premier Gergő of the People's Socialist Republic of Sarkozka has announced the start of a "Great Independent Path forward" hoping to put an end to the 51 year union with Sarkozka in which the nation relies upon Krajstali. He does hope to still maintain independence and good relations with the SFR. In the first of these steps is Sarkozka has seeing the introduction of Central Planning. A form of economy mostly associated with the former Eastern Bloc and the soviet union itself compared to Krajstali's free market socialist policies. However this has been met with friction from both the Sarkozkan Populace and in Krajstali but protests had been put down brutally by Sarkozkan authorities.

Stalin to this day is still a controversial figure compared to Russia being the man who openly threatened and challenged the young Democratic Federal Republic of Krajstali. This caused a rift between the Crvenagrad and Moscow leading ultimately to the Kranc-Stalin split and the start of the informbiro period. It has been ultimately believed that Stalin's death was at the hands of Krajstalian Spies in which the government has confirmed it was true.

This however was not taken lightly in Crvenagrad as Marshal Karadsevic criticizes Gergő's need for Central planning despite being a close ally. "The path that the SCP takes is similar to Stalin's rise to power whom is a deeply hated man in our nation. He (Stalin) does not belong in leftist politics anywhere, by doing so he will cease Sarkozka's revolutionary spirit as did the Soviets and will lead to another Informbiro period." Warned the Marshal himself in a statement to the League of Communists.
The Government and a majority of the Krajstalian populace believe that Premier Gergő's plans will most likely result in a major decrease in Human rights, political purges,failing of the Sarkozkan economy and ultimately a famine. All reflecting the actions of the "Red Terror" of the Soviet Union once known as Stalin. Marshal Karadsevic warns the SCP to further halt the "Stalinization" of their country or face destruction at their own hands.

The Krajstalian Government is currently willing to accept those who are at the borders between Sarkozka and Krajstali hoping to flee the possibility of the Resurrection of an Eastern Bloc state. So far no action has Sarkozka taken yet in Borders but Marshal Karadsevic warned states bordering Sarkozka and other nations in the Region to condemn Sarkozka.

Stalin was the greatest leader of the 20th Century and in my Opinion he and Kranc were great friends. At least eleven people were killed earlier today after an explosion ripped through the heart of Copenhagen. According to witnesses, mere moments before the explosion those responsible began firing at traffic police after they were pulled over for suspicious behavior. Not long after the call for backup went out the men detonated what we can only describe as devastating. Not long after the explosion shook the city, emergency services was flooded with calls describing a scene of a massive plume of smoke rising above the city's skyline.

There are reports of up to eighteen black body bags being removes from the scene as well as dozens of ambulances carrying the wounded to nearby trauma centers.

Edit 1: 14:34 - While our sources are still not forthcoming with any new information regarding the perpetrators, we have learned that two police officers did die but it is still not known as to whether they died because of the firefight or because of the bomb blast. We have also learned that upwards of thirty-seven people have been injured because of the incident and taken to the cities top Trauma centers.

Edit 2: 15:42 - We have received word that the death of Stein Schummer during his emergency surgery has made the official death toll twenty dead and thirty-four wounded. Our sources within the Domestic Security Services has hinted at the possibility of a Faroese involvement in the terrorist's plots.

During her speech the Queen was surrounded by what we can only describe as an army of Domestic Security Personnel wearing body armor visibly. They were clearly on edge and we at Ratatoskr do not blame them.

Edit 4: 22:38 - Security services has confirmed that a Faroese Terrorist Group attempting to achieve independence by any means necessary was the main perpetrator behind the attacks. They have also alluded to the chance that certain Islamic Extremist groups may have helped finance the attacks on Bjornoese soil for certain Ministers' criticisms of their Religion and the Prophet Mohammed. Not long after this information was confirmed we began seeing checkpoints on most major roads and had reports of Strategic Response Teams being stationed at train stations and air ports. We have also heard unconfirmed reports of Bjornoese Special Forces in armed vehicles.

07/02/2015 - BREAKING: ZOLEVSKOY DEFENSE FORCES INITIATE "OPERATION CLEAN VICTORY", BOMBARDMENT OF ZNP REMNANT POSITIONS BEGINS IN BYSTRICA AND GROUND OFFENSIVE

Today, it has been announced by the Zolevskoy Defense Forces that operations have begun in the Bystrica Oblast to clear out a significant number of Zolevskoy National Party remnants who have taken shelter, and possibly were planning another attack on Zolevskoy; similar to what happened in August and September 2014 during the Northeastern Zolevskoy War. ZDF ground forces have also moved into the region to sweep areas hit by Zolevskoyan artillery.

The ZNP remnants are suspected to have been in the region for several months, as ZDF soldiers have been attacked since the war ended in a government victory in September 2014. Most of the ZNP rebels who survived either surrendered or fled into neighboring Russia, though some ditched their weapons and uniform and returning to civilian life to avoid capture. Others went into hiding in the mountains and forests of northeastern Zolevskoy, though.

The operation began with a heavy bombardment from Zolevskoy Defense Force howitzers and even some air strikes on known ZNP positions such as hideouts, command posts, and other strategic areas used by the terrorists. It is estimated that the ZNP has already taken 20 casualties so far, though at this time it is difficult to confirm. The ZNP remnants are known to have several vehicles such as technicals, a small amount of armored cars and a single T-55 tank.

"This operation will be quick, but not simple." Commander-in-Chief of the ZDF, Alexej Zdislav stated today. "Ever since we fought the Zolveskoy National Party terrorists last year, we have learned what their weaknesses are and the tactics they use. Though they may use new tactics against our brave forces, we suspect that not much has changed with them."

The goal for the Zolevskoy Defense Forces according to Ahmadullah Bellic, president of Zolevskoy, is to either force the ZNP remnants to leave Zolevskoy, or to destroy them all while taking prisoners.

Coastal pirate weapons cache raided in Northern Yakzistan


Several AK rifle variants and several wornout RPG-7s found in pirate safehouse.

After several anonymous tips from locals residents of the region,Interior Forces of Yakzistan raided several weapon cache in the coastal mountians of Yakzistan.The battle with pirates and smugglers is an ongoing issue with nations since October of 2014. Hundreds of AK rifles variants, Chinese SKS rifles, RPG-7s and other weapons were found at the caches.

One Interior Forces members was minorly wounded by a crude grenade trap left set by the pirates holding the area. 8 pirate members were killed by gunfire between them and Interior Forces members at the caches. 3 other pirates were captured are being held for questioning with government authorities in Saint Milož. No other infomation is given about the detained pirates being held in custody

Following a statement issued by the Krajstalian Orthodox Union and a series of Sermons held in honor of the two Comrade Marshals Kranc and Karadsevic. The Krajstalian Orthodox Church christens both the former Marshal Kranc and Marshal Karadsevic as saints, just as the Russian Orthodox Church named Stalin a saint as well.

According to church officials,"The two Marshals have the right to be named saints since the two had protected Orthodox rights of worship,protected Orthodox churches and were guardians of holy Slavdom. Compare them to Stalin who persecuted Orthodox Church leaders and demolished Churches as well but was still called a saint."

This move was taken as bizarre to several since the two Marshals despite being raised and baptized as Orthodox, Kranc and Karadsevic had never pursued any religious interests and simply protected their rights to exist within the nation. But Orthodoxy being the largest religion in Krajstali means that a majority of will follow in believing the two to be saints.

"Saint Kranc was the one who united us,Saint Karadsevic was the one who succeeded Kranc and kept us together bringing us a new era of prosperity" Bishop Milos of Banje Luke stated.
Already several churches in the Socialist Republic of Titovka,Bolugaria and Iondinia had followed suit where installations of two windows featuring the Marshals were being installed.The two icons are now a popular product among not only Orthodox worshipers but also even Tourists.

The Church in the city of Novi Das was among the first who had the two windows installed. During the Civil War, Novi Das was under heavy NATO bombardment. The old Church was hit from time to time until the Krajstalian Forces had set up Anti-Air defenses around Novi Das preventing further Bombardment, after the war Marshal Karadsevic himself was among the first who planted bricks for the reconstruction of the Church. To this day he is labeled as a hero in Novi Das for protecting the Church and it's worshipers. But this met some friction to a few, the Catholic church for example who criticizes the move of making an Atheist a saint. The Sarkozkan Communist Party also criticizes the move labeling Krajstali as a "Theocracy" and "Copying Stalin's image".

The Islamic community has made no comment as of yet but already Cosniak Muslims are taking to the streets to protest against the Titovkan minority within SR Cosnia to keep Marshal Karadsevic as a leader but not someone to be worshiped.

Just yesterday, the sale of about 80 Elektrogradian made SKOT (Sredni Kolowy Transporter Opancerzony) IFV's was finalized. Zolevskoy will join Modrova and Elektrograd as user of this modern, STANAG 5 graded, vehicle. Used extensively in Afghanistan and Iraq, carriers proved their worth, saving countless lives of coalition soldiers, thanks to their high IED protection values and modular structure. Armed with 40mm automatic cannon, four Israeli Spike launchers and protected by Zolevskoy made Arena countermeasure system, SKOTs will be fielded in Red Strip territory and as a part of elite Zolev expeditionary forces.

"Thanks to these vehicles, our northern neighbours will be able to react to any threat even faster than before, striking both nationalist terrorists and any potential invaders." Stated chairman of Zbrojeniowka, Maciek Kowalewski. "Of course, we hope for further cooperation with Zolev government, both scientific and economic. This region direly needs stability."

Purchased vehicles, according to our reporters were already sent to Zolevskoy by train. Bojar Vehicles were bought for overall price of 224 million dollars.

February 19th, 2015 - Kingdom of Bjornoerne and Republic of Yakzistan Improve Relations through Arms Deal

After a week of negotiations between the Bjornoerne and Yakzistan, the two nations have finally come to an agreement that will strengthen the bonds of the two nations. As to what was being negotiated, well, that was a big mystery until the deal was finalized. No one knew what it was but that didn't stop the internet from sensationalizing the back-room talks and offer their own theories. One user, Ciscomatix, admitted to starting the rumor of Bjornoerne purchasing a chemical weapons off the black market, which turns out to be completely false.

What was the real reason behind the negotiations? Yakzistan recently decommissioned a Chinese built Xian H-6 Strategic Bomber and Bjornoerne's military leadership jumped at the leadership to expand it's limited arsenal of war planes.

But do not fear over the Forty-Six million dollar price tag, Bjornoerne has not spent a dime of 'your' tax dollars in this venture. It was a simple trade. Twenty MBT-75's, half from the reserves stock and the other half being produced right here in Bjornoese factories, was what the Yakzistanians asked for and that's what they shall retrieve. As this is being wrote, we can only assume that the Bjornoese Armed Forces are removing any sensitive material from the tanks, like those pictures of Actress Lykke Thorsson that have been supposedly floating around on the internet.

We have yet to hear what the international community may have to say about this arms deal but we at Ratatoskr support any deal that will protect the lives of Bjornoese men and women, and all civilians abroad, including this one.

Joint Yakzistani-Mislauian military operations against pirates

After several meetings with two Mislauian officals, Yakzistan has allowed the nation of Mislau to conduct naval and ground joint military operations with Yakzistani Navy and Defense Forces. Since of October 2014, the Buryualik coast line has been terrorized several foreign pirate factions originating from the nation of Ranzdories. However in early February 2015, an swift invasion of the Sakhalin island which was major basing of the pirate factions was launched and several pirate leaders have been killed however.

The Mislauian Navy will send several ships from the fleet to help the Sverdlov-class cruiser and other frigates of our navy to defeat the pirate cargo ships disguised as civilians from coming into port. Also, a rumor was leaked onto an anonymous imageboard of Mislauian Special Forces conducting operations with several Spetsnaz units in Northern Yakzistan. However the rumor as of now are considered false by the Yakzistani government. No word on the public reaction to this.

22/02/2015 - Tensions Continue Escalating Between North and South Afror, North Afror People's Army Conducts Military Drills Near Border of S. Afror

The military of North Afror has recently conduct a large, but presumably short military drill that simulated a southern attack on North Afror recently, with many vehicles and weapons such as tanks, aircraft, artillery, and APCs being used. The government and state media of North Afror has claimed these drills are primarily "defensive". This drill comes as tensions between communist North Afror and capitalist South Afror due to the recently announced ZDF-SAAF exercises in May 2014 , which has sparked mass anger within the government of North Afror.

The North Afror People's Army is known to have a large number of soldiers, artillery and tanks; thus they were used lots in the recent drills. Although most of the NAPA's vehicles and equipment are very outdated, the North Afroran military still manages to pose a grave threat to the smaller and weaker South Afror Armed Forces. Several wars have been fought in the past between the two Afrors, mostly ending in either a peace treaty or a Northern victory.

Not just the upcoming joint Zolevskoy-South Afror exercise has caused these tensions, though. North Afror is rumored to have recently tested chemical weapons in the barren deserts of their nation, and several ICBM missiles; though not nuclear.

"If the Northern government continues to act this way in light of proposals for peace talks, we can not expect to see peace between the two Afrors anytime in the near future." The Zolevskoyan foreign minister stated about the current situation just a few days ago. The North Afror government has not made a statement regarding the foreign minister's comments. However, Marshal Chifundo Enitan, the leader of North Afror, has ordered his military to begin "war preparations", which has caused concern in the South Afroran government.

General Omar Abdoulahi, in response to accusations by Zolevskoy's government of belligerence issued a stark rebuke today of the interference of white Europeans in African affairs.

'This is an outrage,' he began, gesturing with his hands. 'The white man of Europe has caused infinite anger across the continent with their greed. The people of Afror are peaceful and wish nothing but prosperity and the bettering of the lives of Africans. The capitalist puppet government of the south are the true enemies of the people.'

'These wargames are in the interest of the people of Afror, to show the world that we are ready to counter any aggression from the enemies of the people.' When asked about the recent rumored declaration by the President of the People's Democratic Republic to prepare for a war footing and reunification of the two Afrors, he laughed.

'This is absurd. The President is a peaceful man and is being targetted by the enemies of the people and white Europeans to discredit a successful African nation ruled by Africans. We have no designs to invade south Afror, we merely desire peaceful reunification with our oppressed brothers in the beleaguered and occupied nation of the false 'Republic of Afror.'

24/02/2015 – North Afror Begins Ground Invasion of South Afror, Zolevskoyan Government Condemns Invasion

Earlier today, the North Afroran military and government made a move not seen coming even by the international community, and began a full ground invasion of their southern neighbor and primary adversary, South Afror.

North Afror People’s Army (NAPA) forces have already seized control of numerous towns and strategic facilities as far as 3 kilometers deep into South Afror, and have inflicted many casualties upon the South Afror Armed Forces (SAAF). NAPA forces are not expected to stop anytime soon, and may have planned to annex the entirety of South Afror.

Shortly after the invasion, Marshal Chifundo Enitan made a speech along with a large NAPA parade down the main parade square of North Afror, in their capital city of Agadez. Enitan even went on to condemn Zolevskoy in his strongly-worded speech.

”Such actions of warmongering and imperialism, as demonstrated by the Democratic Republic of North Afror today, are unacceptable in today’s civilization.” The foreign minister of Zolevskoy, Vlatko Wilkowske stated shortly after news of the invasion hit home.

South Afror is well known for its very healthy relations with the Republic of Zolevskoy, as a once unified Afror was a colony of the former Empire of Zolevskoy. It is not known what North Afror’s friend, the Socialist Federal Republic of Krajstali, has to say about the invasion yet.

Due to to heighten concern between the government in exile of South Germany and Austria, and Germanischen Staaten,the country of South Germany and Austria has bought 55 MiG-23MLDs, 4 F-4EJs and 25 L-39 trainer aircraft were purchased from military surplus market of Yakzistan. The deal between the nations of Yakzistani and South Germany and Austria totaled a $127,990,00 exchange for the military surplus aircraft.

The Yakzistani government offered 150 Yakzistani Air Force pilots for training of the South Germany and Austria pilots free of charge in exchange of for housing and food. The Yakzistani government are still paying the pilots salary though. Any more talks between the two are unknown.

March 6th, 2015 - Recent border incidents between Bjornoerne and Norway cause military posturing on the border

The town of Charlottenberg has turned into a sea of tents and camouflaged vehicles after a recent rash of border incidents between Bjornoerne and Norway caused a number of deaths, most notably of which was a Norwegian military vehicle crossing the border at night and causing a fatal motor accident. With the Norwegian Government denying the allegations and the video evidence that has been offered, the Bjornoese Government felt it necessary to assign border security. The Norwegians have responded in kind posting an armored division on the Norwegian side of Charlottenberg.

While combat troops have been deployed to the border, civilians in and around Charlottenberg have been informed that the military forces there will act as an additional police force to assist the local constabulary. It isn't known at the moment if this is the beginning of what some conspiracy theorists consider a recreation of the Kalmar Union but our sources inside the government insist that history has nothing to do with current operations on the Bjornoerne-Norway border.

With the news blackout ordered yesterday we were unable to make a broadcast about what has transpired along the Norway-Bjornoerne border yesterday. At approximately 1 p.m. our time, Norwegian forces all along the border crossed over and attacked our border checkpoints there. We only had a limited number of Home Guard stationed along the border with assistance of a single tank battalion. There are reports from civilians inside the combat zone saying the Norwegians have pushed as far as twenty to forty kilometers past the border and into Bjornoese territory. There have also been reports of civilians wearing red armbands and speaking with the Norwegian army.

With the possibility of Pro-Norwegian insurgents operating inside of Bjornoerne, we would like to ask those of you who are still loyal to the crown to keep your heads down and stay safe. We don't know yet if these Norwegian sympathizing cowards will try anything to gain favor with their new friends. If you have anything to report about Norwegian Troop movements, our offices are always available. We will be answers messages from phones, radios, pidgeons, and strings attached to cans. We will do our part in this fight for our way of life.

"After several failed proposals in Parliament in past several years, Senator Belousov Kusma reintroduced the bill into Yakzistani Parliament with re-introduced bill with major changes to it in late November 2014. The bill introduced by Belosuov will introduce wind farms to be constructed 4 miles off the eastern Yakzistani coastline powering most of the eastern region. The voting ended March 10th with majority of the parliament voting for it with some minor opposition to the bill. The construction of the wind farms are to be expected by somewhere around mid 2016 according to officals."- AAN News

16/03/2015 – President & Commander-in-Chief Authorizes Deployment of Additional Forces to South Afror

President Ahmadullah Bellic and ADF commander-in-chief Volkhardt Lehman have recently approved a request for a deployment of an additional 23,000 Austzeland Defense Forces soldiers to South Afror yesterday along with several more Luftwaffe aircraft, to provide additional aid towards the struggling Republic of Afror Army. The additional forces are expected to leave Austzeland by late Tuesday, and arrive in South Afror by Friday. However, aircraft of the Luftwaffe is expected to arrive by early Wednesday. The forces being deployed are already preparing to be shipped off, according to numerous domestic sources. The current intervention force in Afror is one of the largest foreign deployments for the Austzeland Wehrmacht, since the deployments to combat the Maoist insurgency in Paldavia last summer, as part of a large coalition of International Freedom Alliance members lead by Bratislav.

The announcement came as ADF forces officially began their push into the territory of the Republic of Afror that is occupied by the northern Afror People's Army, which is being lead by the 7th Panzer Brigade. Large gains have already been made by the Austzelandi intervention in Afror. It is also said that because of the Austzeland Luftwaffe, the Afror People's Army Air Force has halted operations due to their poor training and aircraft inventory. The "biggest threat" to Austzeland Air Force pilots are anti-air systems on the ground now, according to several AAF commanders.

"The Republic of Austzeland and the Republic of Afror will not stop to halt the advance of APA forces in Afror, and will take all necessary steps to halt their forces wherever they go. I assure that all citizens of Afror affected by this war will be compensated not just by their government, but also by the Austzelandi government." President Bellic said in a statement.

Volkhardt Lehman also spoke about establishing permanent ADF bases in South Afror, too. "In the future, the Austzeland Defense Force will likely establish several permanent bases in the Republic of Afror, to train and advise ROAA forces and also to act as a deterrent against any aggression. These sites will likely be located in central, west, and southern areas of the Republic of Afror." Volkhardt also went on to say that "from now on, an attack on the Republic of Afror is an attack on the Republic of Austzeland."

Recently, the 1st Armored Company of the Zenzembarion Ground Forces has been deployed to Bashyrria with coalition forces in Bashyrria. The Zenzembario goverment deployed around 14 or so T-62 tanks according goverment sources. They will cooperate with much larger Yakzistani forces in the northern Kurdistan region of Bashyrria.- AAN Middle Eastern News

Recent rumour has been finally confirmed! Elektrogradian prime minister Artur Bierut has officially announced the creation of joint Elektrogradian-Austzelandi brigade, which will hopefully become operational this very month, right after a summit between leaders of both countries. Elektrogradian-Austzelandi Brigade (Elektrogradian: Elektrogradzko-Austzelandzka Brygada; German: Austzelandi-Elektrogradische Brigade) will be a joint formation consisting of units from both Austzelandi Wehrmacht and our Land Forces. Though details about brigade's organizations are still unknown, we know that Elektrograd will contribute at least three mechanized battalions and that its headquarters will be located somewhere in southern New Austzeland.

According to Marek Juszczak from Niezawisla.el, creation of such unit was desirable and unavoidable. "It was easily predictable, I mean, let's look at the map for a second. Elektrograd and Austzeland are the only two nations able to fend off a certain eastern aggressor and its unstable satellite, that's Sobotka. Western nations won't do anything and we know it, NATO is virtually non-existent and the rest of Black Sea Defence Pact will take forever to take any real action. The most important thing we achieve by creating this brigade is creating a strong and lasting military alliance in the region of Eastern Europe. Now we will have a close ally to, hopefully, rely on."

Elektrogradian detachment will be under command of colonel Katarzyna Hekner, a seasoned veteran and a mind behind several ant-terrorist actions against Lithuanian nationalists militia.

Yakzistani Interior Forces liberates foreign anti goverment controlled town in the northern region

Ever since there ever ongoing battle between Goverment forces and pirate smugglers has been tearing the northern part of Yakzistan for months as now since the last year's of 2014 major Point Soinsé Conflict. Ever since the conflict, the ever increasing amounts of weapon smugglers and anti-goverment groups has terrorized the northern reigon of Yakzistan.

However since the start of 2015, the goverment had stepped up their game against the opposition groups. As of recently, the small town of Nauhz Port has been liberated from an small foreign anti-goverment forces by the Yakzistani Interior Forces. According to the locals, the town has been under control since December 2014.

The assault of the opposition controlled town started around 13:00 when around 60 Interior Minstry members and several local militia groups assault the town. The leader of the opposition group surrender around 17:00 after several hours of fighting. There only several wounded casulities for the Interior Minstry while the opposition suffered 15 dead and 19 severely wounded. Currently the opposition group leader and his men under questioning by the government officials in Fort Yulanskio. No other word on the opposition group intentions of the town.- AAN News

Sakhalin rebel leader surrenders to the Yakzistani military forces in Poronaysk

Ever since the downfall of Muko Tomeo's tyrannical reign of Randozies in early 2015, several former military leaders of the defunct Randozian military formed small resistance groups against the Yakzistani invading forces. However today, Taguchi Norinaga; leader of the short lived Sakhalin Free Group surrendered to Col. Alexander Sobolev in Poronaysk.

The resistance of Norinaga's suffered heavy blows after several failed hit-and-run attack on the Yakzistani military forces. After several days of heavy fighting in the worn out city of Poronaysk, Norinaga sent a interloper to YRK agent an message of surrender. Norinaga forces surrender peacefully after the message was sent to Col. Sobolev via the contacted VRK agent.

Norinaga is convicted of support and involvement of the Point Soinsé conflict in mid 2014. Along with the other cases, he will likely face 10 years in imprisonment beacuse of this. No other word on the trying other resistance leaders by Yakzistan officials.- AAN Yakzistan News

Protests erupted on Wednesday in Cyllea, as people expressed their anger over Cyllea's joining an international soccer tournament. The main issue of contestment is that the soccer tournament allows only men to join, which is a clear remnant of the patriarchal oppression of women for hundreds of years. Many in Cyllea have become angry over Cyllea joining the tournament due to this; in Cyllean culture, men and women almost exclusively play on sports teams together, and for Cyllea to create a team purely of men to represent Cyllea is completely unacceptable in many people's eyes.
While sports were the issue that sparked the protests, there are a range of issues that keep the flame fueled; recently, Cyllea began relaxing its immigration laws, and many are concerned that Cyllean culture and religion will be threatened if too many foreigners move to Cyllea. In addition, the 2015 annual budget introduced large cuts to the education budget, sparking protests earlier in the year, as most in Cyllea feel that education should be prioritized over everything else.

On the other hand, this is one of the first serious, mainstream oppositions to the government since the Pujaan Riots of 2004, and while it has started out peacefully, many fear that those within the government will use their position to violently suppress the protests in order to keep their jobs and wealth.

May 4th marks the 35th Anniversary of the death of the founder of the nation, Josip Broz Kranc. Since 2000, Marshal Karadsevic has declared the period of five days containing his death and birthday (On may 7th) to be "Kranca nedelje" otherwise Kranc's week starting off with May 4th being his date of death. For this week, both the Young,the middle aged and the old remember the man who liberated the country in a great "National Liberation War" carried out during the Second World War greatly expanding the nation and bringing the nation to the world stage where Kranc gained renowned world fame.

The man had fought two world wars, the first where he was but a mere Austro-Sarkozkan conscript and the second where he was in total command as the Marshal. Founded the Non-Aligned movement and his rule ensured Krajstali a golden age ruling for 35 years.Josip Broz Kranc’s funeral in Crvenagrad was the largest in the world being attended by 200 senior officials and 1 Million Krajstalians. Only a few months ago on February earlier this year, the Orthodox Church of Krajstali had named him a Saint.

Many prominent Krajstalian singers such as Roki and Knindzap have announced details to albums dedicated to the Marshal. So far the album made by Roki is being titled "Kranc's Week" as well.
It is not only Krajstalians but also Millions across the world who thank Marshal Josip Broz Kranc.
He will forever live in the memory of the youngest to those who weren't even around when he died to the Adults who personally met the man as children,Pioneers who sing praise to him and Partisan veterans who fought side by side with him during the National Liberation War.

On Sunday, the Cyllean Trade Minister, Ms. Hikari Myung, announced a deal between Cyllea and Paragania to open up Uranium imports. Cyllea will import Uranium from Paragania at a rate of $37.28 per pound, though no figure has been released on the actual amount of uranium to be imported. Critics, both Cyllean and foreign, have expressed concern to expanding the Cyllean nuclear program; after the Fushiya Nuclear Disaster of 1993, many are concerned about the nuclear program, and there are some calls to shut it down.
A poll in 2012 among residents of Yaojiaya showed that only 28% of Cylleans supported an expansion of the Cyllean nuclear program; 55% supported it at its current stage and nothing else, while 17% supported downsizing it or getting rid of it altogether. There are also some unfounded claims that Cyllea is planning an expansion of its Nuclear Weapons capacity; Currently, Cyllea officially has around 40 nuclear weapons, though critics both internal and abroad say the number is more like ~100.
Ms. Myung has applauded the deal, calling it a 'milestone in Paraganian-Cyllean relations and cooperation' and has expressed support for further trade and relations; her counterpart, Foreign Relations Minister, Mr. Austo Raih, has also indicated he would support further relations with Paragania; unofficial reports indicate that embassies may be established between the two soon and trade may be expanded. However, these reports aren't binding and are largely speculation at this point in time.
