2014 Resolution Popularity Contest! Part III

Postby Omigodtheykilledkenny » Mon Jan 26, 2015 12:48 pm

And so it continues...

Repeal "International Criminal Court" and Nuclear Safety Convention came out on top during the last round, and win an all-expenses-paid trip to the Final Round! (If you're wondering how NSC broke that tie, it's because it passed by more votes...but fret ye not, fans of Radiological Terrorism (the resolution, or the concept!): GA#289 is coming back in the Wild Card Round!)

Speaking of which, if there are any other resolutions that lost thus far but you'd like to see them get another shot, visit the Wild Card Round thread and nominate them. Ultimately two will be picked to advance to the finals.

Now we lock horns over Third Quarter 2014 (July - September). Interestingly enough, no repeals this time! But we do get to consider the WA's landmark 300th resolution. Here are your choices:

Pick your top two favorites. Don't cheat. I will know when you're cheating. :eyebrow:

Voted for Invidivual Working Freedoms and a random one I just closed my eyes and ended up picking. Not that any of the other resolutions here were bad; I just wasn't very passionate about any of them.

I went for 301 and 296. 301 because I really, really support it, and 296 because it was really funny seeing the Bears getting it through.

No, we are not a nation of cat people. We're all humans (and a few annoying gnomes) here. The cat's just there because our king is such a genius, he saw that it would be a good military strategy to have a distractingly cute flag, to blind our enemies to (our) victory!
Technological level: FUTURE TECH. We also have MAGICAL TECH, and a lot of the people here still play with MEDIEVAL TECH and PRESENT TECH. We're cool that way.

#296, #299.
A diplomatic mission from Bears Armed, formerly stationed at the W.A. . Population = either thirty-two or sixty-four staff, maybe plus some dependents.
