How military of gun-free state looks like?

Yet, at the same time:
Defense 25.4 %
Defense forces ranking: 29 (While World Average (median) is 18)

It doesn't look like my army became defenseless without guns.
I don't know military very well, so I wonder, what happened with my army? For example, does it mean I can't use tanks, because tanks have guns?

Guns did not always exist. Maybe they began using older (read: medieval) technologies to replace guns.

Or maybe the army owns guns, but none of them are on the nation's territory, so technically the nation does not contain guns.

Silly responses aside, I presume it means civilians and your police force are not permitted to carry weapons. Your army will always have guns - the only way to eliminate this is to eliminate your army.

Yes, who are so skilled they simply just punch bullets back at the enemy army. Tanks? No problems, all it takes is an Iron Palm on the armour and bam crushed. Helicopters/Planes? Throw slabs of concrete, street poles, or the random neighborhood grandmother.
