IC thread
The world had been throw into utter turmoil.
It all began with Malefor, the Dragon Prince, and his annexation of the various sovereign states of Europe. The leaders of Europe were enraged, and joined forces to stop him. However, some kingdoms were less than cooperative. Weselton, for example, displayed an insatiable hunger for revenge against Arendelle, which they claimed was corrupting the world because of their monarch, Queen Elsa, and her ice powers. Critellardon, in turn, wished to annex Weselton during the chaos of the war. And the Faroe Islands only sought to take over the capital of the WIlderwest in an attempt to take more power for themselves.
Then came the Millennium Items. Seven mystical artefacts from Ancient Egypt, forged from pure gold and imbued with the spirits of the Bandit Citadel of Kul Elna. How they ended up in Europe was a mystery. One thing led to another, and eventually, the seven were scattered, some in the hands of good people, some in the hands of wicked people, and some utterly lost. Many could not handle the vast powers sealed within these items, and one, Crown Princess Anna of Arendelle, succumbed to its temptations and to the hypnosis of the Demon Dragons, becoming the High Priestess of Darkness. For within that short amount of time, it was revealed that two Arch Demons were manipulating the events of those few years to suit their own will, and they had, only now, decided to step in and claim what they believed was theirs. The world had been tainted.
In a last ditch attempt to put an end to the madness, Jorgen III of the Wilderwest flew to the New World on the back of his Night Fury, to unlock a seal. A seal, laid down to lock away one of the most powerful dragons of light- the White Dragon. He, along with his dragon, was shot down and captured, for even though he wielded the incredibly powerful Millennium Rod, it could not protect him that moment.
With the Resistance without a leader, the governments of the world were thrown into turmoil. Within months, Reykjavík was destroyed by the Arch Demon's forces. Soon, every other major city followed suit. Berlin, Tórshavn, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Oslo, Moskva… the capitals of Europe fell. It wasn't long before the others also came under the power of the Arch Demons, who already wielded the Millennium Ring and the Millennium Necklace. The world was, effectively, theirs to rule.
…
However, all was not lost.
In a last ditch attempt to stop the Arch Demon's forces, Shadi, the Guardian of the Millennium Items, took back the Danish city of Copenhagen from the demons using the power of his two Millennium Items, transforming it into a final sanctuary of light for those who were still loyal to the cause of humanity. There, the last remaining leaders, warlords, vagabonds and ronin banded together to put up one last resistance against the Dark Masters of the Different Dimension. Here, humanity would make their last stand.

Rules:
I. No number fapping and/or godmodding. It ruins gameplay when there's an unbeatable army. Don't do it.
(e.g. Gary Stu sent 100,000,000,000,000 soldiers to conquer Berlin)
II. No meta gaming. Meta gaming is when you use knowledge only available OOC to give yourself an advantage IC.
(e.g. When A sends a letter that's only meant for B, and C uses the contents to his advantage despite his characters never having read it.)
III. No one liners. I am holding everybody here to a certain standard of role-playing. I don't expect everyone to write 400 word essays for every post, but at least do one or two paragraphs.
I will make an exception when your characters are having a conversation, and there is nothing else to add besides the words exchanged.
IV. Keep all OOC posts in the OOC thread. It's quite unsightly seeing OOC messages scattered on the IC.
V. Listen to the OP and the co-OPs. If they tell you that City X is barricaded, then it is barricaded.
VI. Have fun
