Westeros: Rise of a King (Dead)

Postby Arana » Sun Dec 14, 2014 8:45 pm

The IC!: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=324448

Introduction
In the year 301, the War of the Five Kings came to an end, with Stannis Baratheon on the Iron Throne. When Stannis came to power, one of his main supporters, the Bastard of Winterfell Jon Snow, was legitimized by the King, becoming the Lord of Winterfell after the last of the Boltons were executed. Roughly two years later, Howland Reed, Lord of Greywater Watch, came forward with a secret that had been held for twenty-one years: the identity of the parents of Jon Snow. It was revealed then that Jon had never been a child of Eddard Stark, but rather his sister Lyanna. His true father was none other than the Prince of Dragonstone and heir to the Iron Throne, Rhaegar Targaryen. As such, Jon was not only both a Targaryen and a Stark, but the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. As such, when Stannis Baratheon was assassinated by an unknown assailant several months later, without any male heirs, Jon Targaryen was crowned King.

When Daenerys Targaryen, after uniting the Ghiscari and ending slavery in Slaver’s Bay, eventually returned to Westeros two years later, she met with her newly discovered nephew, and the two agreed to marry in order to avoid bloodshed. As such, the Seven Kingdoms, the Ghiscari Empire, and the Great Grass Sea were united under the Bastard of Winterfell and the Mother of Dragons. However, their victory would not last. In 318, Mace Tyrell, the Lord of Highgarden, was arrested and executed after it was discovered that he was plotting to assassinate the King and Queen, intending to replace them with his own daughter, Margaery Tyrell, and her husband, former King Tommen Lannister. Lord Mace’s execution led to open rebellion, with House Tyrell and several others, along with their bannermen, against the Iron Throne and their allies. In the cover of darkness, the armies of Highgarden stormed King’s Landing, killing Jon and Danaerys and taking the three year old Aerion prisoner. Aerion’s two siblings, the six year old Viserys and twelve year old Aemon, were taken out of the city by loyalist forces, and brought to their mother’s empire in Slaver’s Bay. With Aerion in the custody of House Tyrell, the Targaryen forces in Essos and those of Targaryen loyalists in Westeros were unable to continue the war, which was forced to end inconclusively.

The year is now 330 AC, twelve years after the Tyrell Rebellion, and the world is in a state of crisis. In Westeros, the Tyrells control the Iron Throne, with the young King Aerion and his queen completely under their influence. As a result, tensions are rising between those lords who supported Jon and Daenerys and those who took part in the rebellion. In Essos, the situation is much worse. In the Stepstones, a new ruler, the Pirate King Aero Cithien has united the island chain, moving on to conquer the Free Cities of Lys and Tyrosh. In the east, the other sons of Daenerys Targaryen have taken up their mother's positions, with Aemon becoming Emperor of the Ghiscari and Viserys leading his mother's khalasar in the Dothraki Sea. Under Viserys, the Dothraki have become more bold, and raids against the Free Cities have become more common. Fearing the threat of the Pirate King and the Dothraki, the Free Cities have started trading less often with Westeros, and the Iron Bank of Braavos has started collecting on it's debts and withholding new loans, resulting in financial disaster for both the other Free Cities and the lords of Westeros.

You are in the center of this crisis. But who are you? Are you the head of a noble Westerosi family? Are you a brave knight, fighting in the army of your liege lord? Are you a wealthy merchant or slave trader from one of the free cities? Are you a pirate captain, raiding the seas under the command of the Pirate King? Are you a khal of the Dothraki, leading your khalasar on raids against your pale-skinned neighbors? Whoever you are, you will play a part in forging the future of Westeros and Essos alike.

Summary of the Introduction (You should still read the actual one)
So basically, I've made a Game of Thrones RP! Or, if you read the books instead of the show, it's an A Song of Ice and Fire RP. Whichever. You don't need to be an expert about the series to take part, or even know that much about it, but it is recommended that you have basic knowledge. If you don't, however, or just have a question, feel free to mail me, your trusty OP, or consult the very helpful Wiki of Ice and Fire. Now then, let's get started.

The Rules
  • All NS and P2TM forum rules apply. Obviously.
  • No godmodding, no meta-gaming, no nothing. In some cases, it will be allowed with permission of either the OP (me) or whatever character you happen to be interacting with.
  • Posts must be a minimum of four lines, unless you have a reasonable excuse. I'm not going to be that hard about this rule, unless it becomes a habit.
  • As far as this RP is concerned, I am God. I have the final say on everything, period. However, if you can provide a good argument, I can be swayed.
  • If you apply as a house, apply as a character as well.
  • Multiple players can be from the same house, although I would recommend asking permission from whoever originally created it.
  • Enjoy yourselves! Or else...

"The Captive King"; "The Boy Dragon"
King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men; Lord of the Seven Kingdoms | Played by: ARANA (OP)
Born: 315 AC | Prince of Westeros 315 AC - 318 AC| Lord of the Seven Kingdoms 318 AC -

When Stannis came to power, one of his main supporters, the Bastard of Winterfell Jon Snow, was legitimized by the King, becoming the Lord of Winterfell after the last of the Boltons were executed. With Aerion in the custody of House Tyrell, the Targaryen forces in Essos and those of Targaryen loyalists in Westeros were unable to continue the war, which was forced to end inconclusively.

While inconclusive, however, the war was not without victory. With control of both Kings Landing and Aerion, the Tyrells were able to exercise great influence, arranging for Margaery Tyrell to become Regent and for her daughter, Elvira Lannister, to be betrothed to Aerion. Furthermore, the Tyrells were responsible for the young king's education and upbringing, making him loyal to the Tyrell family and willing to do whatever Margaery, who he saw as an adoptive mother, asked of him. Often, he can be found reading or playing music, much like his grandfather. He tends to be like Rhaegar in other ways as well, respecting the rights of the smallfolk and the Faith, as well as the other religions in Westeros. His best friend is most likely his dragon, Aerax, who he spends a good deal of time with. Currently, Aerion is fifteen, anxiously awaiting his upcoming wedding.

Additional Information:Aerion possesses both the dragon Aerax and the Valyrian steel sword Dragonfyre, which he is an expert with. He has great skill in combat, and is proficient at jousting, archery, sword fighting, and so on. Furthermore, he's very intelligent, although blinded by the education he's received from the Tyrells.

    Loras Tyrell:
    LORAS TYRELL

Lord Paramount of the Reach; Lord of Highgarden; Warden of the South | Played by: NOVAE VITAE
Born: 304 AC | Lord Paramount of the Reach 319 AC -| Lord of Highgarden 319 AC -| Warden of the South 319 AC -

Comely of complexion and outgoing of personality, fast of tongue and sharp of wit, Loras Tyrell was the second-born son of the late Willas Tyrell. Born three hundred-and-four years after the conquest of Aegon, Loras Tyrell was never intended to be heir to Highgarden. He was never intended to rule the Reach. His elder brother, Garlan, was raised to be a rigid master of politics beside his father, a more stunning embodiment of martial skill than the uncle of whom Loras is the namesake.

But then he died. Willas Tyrell, on behalf of Margaery to visit the Iron Bank, brought his son on a tour of the Free Cities. The late lord had hoped Garlan would begin forging his first alliances there. When their ship broke on the stones of Braavos, father and son washing up dead days later, the Reach passed to Loras.

It was, inarguably, a poor option. The support of the Reach was crucial to the support of Aerion, the newly-made king. Garlan, Margaery's brother, moved quickly to seize the regency of the Reach. However, Margaery warned him of grasping a power too much--at the same time, however, she ordered Garlan to stabilize the Reach.

So, while his uncle went about ruling the Reach, Loras did the rational thing any fifteen-year-old Lord Paramount would do--he bedded whores and drank with gamblers, rode with hedge knights and danced in the festivals of smallfolk. His uncle Garlan died when he was twenty-two, forcing him to rule for once. He has found a struggling balance; he is just and genuine to the smallfolk that love him, which has alienated some of his powerful lords, but not all. However, with the threat of his aunt's wrath on his tongue, the lords have been somewhat silent.

And so now, after four years of ruling the Reach, Loras's lust for life has stretched to his desire to play the game of thrones. He has three hopes.

His aunt is the regent. His cousin is the queen. And he is the most powerful lord, man-for-man, in all of Westeros.

    Margaery Tyrell (Lannister):

    MARGAERY TYRELL

    "The Thorny Rose"
Lady Regent of the Seven Kingdoms | Played by: HAI JIN LAO
Born: 283 AC | Queen of Westeros 299 AC - 301 AC| Lady of the Seven Kingdoms 299 AC - 301 AC | Lady Regent of the Seven Kingdoms 318 AC -

For close to two years, Margaery Tyrell was Queen of Westeros, first to King Renly Baratheon, then to King Joffrey Baratheon/Lannister, and finally to King Tommen Baratheon/Lannister. That all changed when the War of the Five Kings came to an end, with Stannis Baratheon on the Iron Throne and Tommen, by that point believed by many to be a bastard born of incest between Jaime and Cersei Lannister, was left with close to nothing, his uncle Tyrion being named Lord of Casterly Rock instead of him after his great uncle Kevan's death. As a result, Margaery, along with her husband, were forced to return to Casterly Rock. For the next thirteen years, they lived quietly there, with Tommen growing older quietly and Margaery spending much of her time influencing the politics in Highgarden, far from her young husband. In 313 AC, this all changed, with Margaery finally becoming pregnant. Nine months later, her daughter Elvira was born.

In 318 AC, Margaery's father, the Lord of Highgarden Mace Tyrell, was arrested and executed for treason by King Jon and Queen Daenerys. This led to an open rebellion against the Iron Throne, with the Reach, the Vale, and the Westerlands, along with several other houses, against the King and Queen, who had the support of the North and the Riverlands, as well as powerful armies in Essos. In the early period of the war, a Tyrell army attacked King's Landing in the dead of night, catching the defenders of the city by surprise and overrunning the walls and gates before the City Watch had time to react. Before long, the King and Queen had been killed, and the youngest of their children, Prince Aerion, had been captured. The other two princes, however, were able to escape, smuggled out of the city by loyalist troops as the Red Keep fell. The rebellion would last awhile longer, but with Tyrell control over King's Landing and the young prince, the loyalist forces were unable to utilize their full strength without risking the lives of Aerion and the people of King's Landing. The rebellion soon ended, and the Tyrells declared Aerion king, intending on ruling through him.

As the young king grew older, Margaery was always at his side, advising and influencing him. Using her influence, she was able to secure a position for herself as Lady Regent, as well as ensuring her daughter would be married to the king when he was old enough. Unfortunately, around 325 AC, her husband Tommen grew ill, and was forced to return to Casterly Rock, leaving Margaery behind in King's Landing. It was never proven, but some in Casterly Rock and King's Landing suspect that Tommen was poisoned, although none dare say so in Margaery's presence. Despite her increasing age, Margaery still retains her former beauty, and her wit has only become more sharper, granting her the nickname "The Thorny Rose," similar to her grandmother who she had learned from: the "Queen of Thrones" Olenna Redwyne.

Born: 310 AC | Lord Paramount of the Westerlands 326 AC -| Lord of Casterly Rock 326 AC -| Warden of the West 326 AC -

After the war of the five kings ended with Stannis on the throne, and with most of the Lannisters dead. King Stannis lifted the exile that was placed on Tyrion Lannister from the free cities of Essos. When he returned he brought with his a whore named Celria, who was pregnant with his child.
King Stannis appointed Tyrion Lord of Casterly Rock after Tyrion bent the knee to King Stannis. Not wanting to give the title to his former enemy and due to the constant rumors that Tommen and his sister were conceived from an incestuous relationship, Tyrion was the best choice.
Celria died giving birth to the young Lord Jamie. From the day that he was born his father showered him with love, even naming him after his brother who he cared so much for.

The Little Lord had everything that he ever wanted or needed. From an early age his father imported tutors from all of Westeros and Essos to help groom Jamie for rule. One of his favorite teachers was a sword master from Braavos, whom he practiced with for 3 hours a day. His father knew the importance of martial skills, the young Jamie showed the same skill as his late uncle and the teachers have him the nickname the little lion.

Of course his father also forced him to study the books. Reading and writing everything that a future leader needed to know.
The one thing is father also stressed to him was the importance of loyalty. Making his son swear loyalty to the iron throne at a early age. When his father passed away he became Lord of Casterly Rock.

    Elvina Lannister (Tyrell):

    ELVINA LANNISTER

    "The Rosebud"
Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men; Lady of the Seven Kingdoms | Played by: ARANA (OP)
Born: 314 AC | Queen of Westeros 318 AC -| Lady of the Seven Kingdoms 318 AC -

With control of both Kings Landing and Aerion, the Tyrells were able to exercise great influence, arranging for Margaery Tyrell to become Regent and for her daughter, Elvira Lannister, to be betrothed to Aerion. Furthermore, the Tyrells were responsible for the young king's education and upbringing, making him loyal to the Tyrell family and willing to do whatever Margaery, who he saw as an adoptive mother, asked of him. Elvina is now ready to bear children, and so the marriage between Elvina and Aerion is to be expected soon.

The Tyrells believe that they can use the Targaryen name to establish more legitimacy in their rule, following the widespread knowledge of Tommen's parenthood. Elvina appears to act like the other women of the court, enjoying poetry, art and music. But Margaery has made it absolutely clear that her role is to rule and maintain the Tyrell hegemony. Elvina has been secretly groomed from a young age to rule, and even to defend herself. Aerion has deliberately been distracted with more interesting activities such as hunting and fighting to ensure that Elvina is the true ruler of westeros.

Additional Information: Elvina is torn between being her mother's puppet and ruling the realm herself. She is wholly loyal to her mother's cause and as thus is seen to be the weakness in the Tyrell plan. If Elvina can be removed, then the Tyrells can be stopped. However with the lush pastures of the Reach combined with the vast gold reserves of the Lannister westerlands have ensured that this necessary alliance is a formidable one. And with two dragons, who knows how the Tyrells shall bloom in the future.

Lord Paramount of the Iron Islands; Lord Reaper of Pyke | Played by: WOODSTOVIA
Born: 309 AC | Lord Paramount of the Iron Islands 330 AC - | Lord Reaper of Pyke 330 AC -

Loron Greyjoy was born out of a marriage of necessity rather than love. The son of Euron Greyjoy and Gwin Goodbrother (Euron marrying Gwin in order to tie down Great Wyk as an ally after the unpopular decision to bend the knee led to whispers of rebellion).

As a child Loron had a rather unique upbringing. His mother tried to constantly protect him and make sure he had a sheltered upbringing, while his father tried to educate him in plotting and strategy; his maester tried teaching him to be cultured and educated while his father's men and captains tried to teach him the ways of the Ironborn and how to fight.

The results of this upbringing were therefor fairly mixed with Loron displaying a mixture of positive and negative features. He's a sociable person, generally happy and cheerful who can be both kind and generous. However at the same time Loron has been fairly neglectful of the smallfolk who he often disregards as well as showing signs of cruelty and ruthlessness. As a warrior and captain he is decent, not terrible but nothing special. The same can be said about his intelligence which is fairly average for lords.

But in the end Loron is still young and has only been ruling for a short amount of time with Euron passing away only a few months ago. And has time to change himself. Only time will tell what he becomes as at this moment he has the potential to become a tyrant or a hero.

Born: 295 AC | Lord Paramount of the North 302 AC -| Lord of Winterfell 302 AC -| Warden of the North 302 AC -

Rickon was born in 295AC in Winterfell to Eddard and Catelyn Stark as their youngest child. Years later Rickon meets and adopts a young dire-wolf who he named Shaggydog. The two soon became close friends and were inseparable. The events of his childhood, namely his family leaving for war, scared Rickon greatly, making him more skeptical and untrusting. When Theon Greyjoy betrayed the Starks Rickon escaped the castle and headed off to Skagos with his direwolf and Osha.

Rickon was soon retrieved by Sir Davos, Stannis' Hand, and brought back to Winter fell once Jon had been made lord. When Jon rose to King of Westeros he named Rickon lord in his place. Rickon has ruled since and fought for his half brother during the Tyrell Rebellion. He detests the Tyrells but has not risen in rebellion because he knows he does not have the strength. Though he hates it, he will wait for the right opportunity to seek his revenge.

Brynden Blackwood is the eldest son of the now deceased Tytos Blackwood. A warrior and battle commander, he holds a grudge against the Bracken's, for betraying their king and bending for the Lannister's, but hates the Lannisters even more, for what they did to King Robb, and for never releasing his brother. His life as the heir included holding court with his father. He is becoming increasingly rebellious toward the Tyrell's, and only reluctantly bends the knee. He is happily married with children of his own.

While his father was still alive, Brynden lead a happy life, but after he passed away peacefully, Brynden became a hard man. He does not appreciate any slight towards him and his family. For years now, he has been the General behind the attacks on the Bracken's, though he does not admit it. His father taught him the sword and shield, and he has used it well. Should the day arise when another Stark declares themselves King, Brynden was be all to happy to pledge his sword to them. JEOR ARRYN

Lord of the Eyrie; Lord Paramount of the Vale; Warden of the East| Played by: AURINSULA
Born: 303 AC | Lord of the Eyrie 306 AC - | Lord Paramount of the Vale 306 AC - | Warden of the East 319 AC -

In the official genealogical rolls of House Arryn and in the Peerage of the Realm, Jeor Arryn is the only child of Robert Arryn and Sansa Stark. Indeed, in the year 303 the two were married, and Jeor was born one year later as a healthy baby boy. Unfortunately, these rolls are a lie. In plainest fact, while Jeor was conceived in wedlock under the strictest definition, the fact of the matter is that he is not Robert Arryn's son - nor could he be, being conceived when his "father" was only 10 years old. Truthfully, he is Sansa Stark's son by an Eyrie stable-hand, and as soon as Jeor was safely born, both said stable-hand and two of Sansa's maids who knew about the affair were thrown out of the Moon Door. Still, though no confirmations exist and only two alive (Sansa herself and her principle advisor, Petyr Baelish) know the exact identity of the father, his illegitimacy is almost an open secret.

Shortly after Jeor turned three, Robert Arryn was felled by poison in the guise of sickness. Petyr Baelish, who had arranged the whole ordeal, thus began to rule the Vale openly as Regent to the Lord. Despite being a cunning and self-serving man, the Vale prospered under his administration. When Jon Snow was legitimized and married Danaerys Targaeryen, then the Arryns were quick to flock to his side. And why wouldn't they? The new king was Jeor Arryn's uncle, and the Arryns were among the crown's most thorough supporters. But Littlefinger was cunning, and when House Tully moved to assassinate the King, he was quick to turn his coat and begin supporting them.

At the age of 16, Jeor Arryn's regency was officially at an end, and he gained the right to sign documents and make decrees in his own right. At first, he was horrified at the betrayal of his uncle by the Tullies and by his chief advisor, but he could at the time do nothing - Lord Baelish was too important to the government of the realm. In 325, however, at the urging of his mother, Sansa Arryn, Lord Jeor finally had the gumption to throw down his advisor. He tried Baelish on a charge of conspiracy to poison him, and when Baelish - skittish of a proper trial for the exposure of all his habitual wrong-doing - selected a trial by combat, Jeor took the floor himself as his own champion. Baelish's champion was too frightened to fight his own liege lord seriously, and Jeor defeated him and doomed Baelish to death. He was thrown out the Moon Door.

Jeor Arryn doesn't truly rule in his own right, even now - his mother has taken Baelish's place as his principle advisor - and her prejudices rule the Vale. The Arryns have turned away from the Tullies, and while they remain technically loyal, the Tullies know all-too-well that a strong wind could turn them away from the Crown and blow them into the arms of a pretender.

Viserys Targaryen:

VISERYS TARGARYEN
"Zhavorsa Ramasar" (Dragon of the Plains); "Khal Jahak Vizhadi" (Silver Braided King); "Khal of Khals"
Khal of the Great Grass Sea; Prince of Westeros; Prince of the Ghiscari | Played by: ARANA (OP)
Born: 311 AL | Prince of Westeros 311 AC -| Prince of the Ghiscari 311 AC -| Khal of the Great Grass Sea 321 AC -

Viserys Targaryen is different than his brothers, and has been since birth. The first, and one of the biggest differences, is, quite obviously, his parentage. When alongside his brothers, it’s almost impossible not to pick out which one is Viserys. In fact, for much of his early childhood, the Lords and Ladies of Westeros had trouble believing he was related to the rest of the Targaryens at all. The identity of Viserys’ father is a secret known only to the late Queen Daenerys, the late King Jon, and Viserys himself. As a result of his Dothraki heritage, as a child, many Westerosi considered him a bastard and a savage, leaving him with a strong disdain for Westerosi culture.

As a child, Viserys spent less time in the courts of Westeros than his siblings, instead receiving much of his education from his mother’s khalasar. As a result, whereas his brother’s are fluent in the Common Tongue and High Valyrian, Viserys is fluent in the Dothraki Tongue and the bastard Valyrian of Slaver’s Bay. However, he still is able to speak the Common Tongue well enough, although he limits his use of it. Furthermore, despite largely embracing the culture of the Dothraki, Viserys still shows signs of an attempt at a noble education, including a willingness to use currency, an acceptance towards followers of the Faith of the Seven (although he is not one himself), a lack of fear towards the sea, and a preference for beef or pork over horse, although he’s perfectly fine with either.

After fleeing from King’s Landing as a child, Viserys was originally brought with his half-brother Aemon to Meereen, but soon left at the age of ten in search of his mother’s khalasar, who were as of yet still loyal to her sons, partly out of great respect for their fallen Khaleesi and partly out of fear of the Targaryen dragons. With Viserys went Jhogo, one of his mother’s bloodriders, who had sworn to escort the young Khal to the khalasar before joining Daenerys in the afterlife, as well as two dragons. One of these dragons, Berras, was the same age as Viserys, having been raised by him. The other, Drogon, was the most powerful of his mother’s dragons, and developed a fierce bond with the son of his former rider.

At first, the young Khal had trouble maintaining his unusually large khalasar, with close to 3,000 men, women, and children deserting by his twelfth birthday. This eventually escalated into an attempt on the Khal's life, which was foiled only because the assailant accidentally woke Drogon. The assailant was roasted alive, and no more attempts were made. Over the next six years, Viserys grew as a leader, winning his first major battle at the age of thirteen in a raid against Norvos. Since then, he's led his khalasar on bolder and bolder raids, even coming within five miles of Pentos before returning to the Dothraki Sea. As of this point, his braid has never been cut, and has many bells, signifying his many victories.

Additional Information: Viserys has possession of the dragons Drogon and Berras, as well as a Valyrian steel arakh. Like his two brothers, he is a warg, although he has little skill. Prior to his birth, he was prophesized by the Dosh Khaleen to be a great warrior and leader, destined to lead the Dothraki to greatness.

Aemon I Targaryen:
AEMON I TARGARYEN

"The Magnificent"
Emperor of the Ghiscari; King of Meereen; King of Yunkai; King of Astapor; Lord Protector of Lhazar; Dragonlord of Valyria | Played by: OF THE QUENDI
Born: 302 AC | Lord of the Seven Kingdoms 318 AC - 318 AC| Emperor of the Ghiscari 318 AC -| King of Meereen, Yunkai, and Astapor 318 AC -| Lord Protector of Lhazar 318 AC -| Dragonlord of Valyria 318 AC -

Aemon Targaryen was the firstborn son of Queen Daenerys Targaryen Stormborn and King Jon Targaryen, the ruling couple of Westeros born in the early years of their illustrious reign on Dragonstone. Growing up he was groomed to become the future king of Westeros, Emperor of Ghiscari and Khal of Khals of the Dothraki Sea, the largest empire ever forged since the Doom of Valyria, instilling in the young child a great sense of pride at his illustrious station in life and a great sense of responsibility towards preserving the vast divided empire.

At age twelve his circumstances changed forever when a surprise attack by House Tyrell on King's Landing lead to the death of both his parents, the capture of his youngest brother Aerion and his own exile with his middle brother Viserys to Essos. Grieving for his murdered parents, his captured baby brother and his lost throne Aemon called on Targaryen loyalists in Westeros to rise up against the Tyrell while instructing his regents to assemble the armies of the east to retake Essos. Incensed by the betrayal of the Tyrell's Aemon managed to claim Drogon for his dragon determined to lead the assault on Westeros himself. Eventually Targaryen loyalists managed to convince him not to try to rule his eastern empire himself but accept a regency and he fled to Ghiscari with Viserys and Drogon.

Taking up residence in Meereen as its king Aemon was educated by Ghiscari tutors to one day assume control over the whole of his parent's empire but as time passed and no news of great victories in the west came Aemon began to realize that his parents empire was collapsing around him. At sixteen he assumed personal control over his dominion and promptly named his brother Viserys as ruler over the Dothraki, realizing that the colossal empire could not be maintained under one man's rule. He proceeded to reorganize his Slaver's Bay's territories that had never recovered from the abolition of slavery and the disastrous wars of his mother by establishing himself as Emperor of a Second Restored Empire of Ghiscari, proclaiming a new golden age for Slaver's Bay, thus raising the spirits of his people.

Since Emperor Aemon the Magnificent has ruled over his empire trying his hardest to resurrect the Ghiscari empire of old and make Slaver's Bay a prosperous and rich land, while sending Ghiscari armies to assist his brother Viserys in securing his reign over the Dothraki. But though his interests seems to lie in the east Aemon has not forgotten the betrayal of the Tyrell's or his birthright as King of the Seven Kingdoms.

Additional Information:Aemon is a warg, like his brothers, and possesses the dragons Rhaegal, Viserion, and a third younger dragon.

    TALAEMOR VAELENEOS

    "The Demon of Mantarys"
Lord of Mantarys; Master of the Demon Road | Played by: KRUGMAR
Born: 293 AC | Lord of Mantarys 309 AC -| Master of the Demon Road 309 AC -

Talaemor Vaeleneos has been the Lord of Mantarys for over twenty years now, inheriting the title after his father died from an infected wound. His childhood was mainly spent learning how to become a Lord, with this came the skills needed to fight and how to survive deadly intrigue. He was married to his sisters in typical Valyrian fashion at the age of 15, his family keen to keep their bloodline pure. After becoming the Lord of Mantarys he began an aggressive expansion against the Tolosi, retaking parts of the Demon Road and making it safer to travel.

At the age of 26 in 318 AL he won his first major victory against the Tolosi, pushing them back to their city of Tolosi and fortifying the Black Cliffs. The war ended in 320 AL with an uneasy truce that was heavily biased towards Mantarys. For the past 11 years he has been preparing his strength for another attack, intending to conquer the Tolosi and eventually move on to Elyria. During this time he has waited in Mantarys, making sure that trade has proceeded as normal and focusing on creating his dynasty which will succeed him.

Talaemor has received many angry letters and calls to court from his Emperor, Aemon, over his attack on Tolosi. He has ignored most of them, simply replying that it is within his right to fight the Tolosi and that if the Emperor is serious about these threats then he should march up the Demon Road and confront him. For now he has been left alone, though he has certainly made an enemy of the Emperor.

Additional Information: His family are Eastern Valyrians, not as pure as the Targaryens would have been. The influence on them would have been the Eastern cultures, so a strange blend of Ghiscari and Valyrian in both tradition and blood.

    Maelesa Vaeleneos:
    Image
    MAELESA VAELENEOS

Lady of Mantarys | Played by: KRUGMAR
Born: 291 AC | Lady of Mantarys 309 AC -[/floatright]

Maelesa is the older sister of Talaemor by about two years. She is far more independent than her younger sister and helps her brother govern Mantarys. She was raised as a warrior-woman, since their father Taenar wished for the heir to his house to be a warrior and he didn't take chances with only one son. She married her brother at the age of 17 and was one of the reasons that he survived the succession when Taenar died and cousins and kin of the family attempted to lay claim to the city.

She took part in the First Tolosi war and was responsible for several minor victories before 318 AL. She is credited with holding the Northern Demon Road from the legions of Tolos, keeping her brothers army safe while they took the Black Cliffs and cut off the Second Tolosi Legion. This enabled them to wipe out this legion and press the truce upon the city. She now rules with her brother, having given birth to a son, Taemor Vaeleneos.

    Vysenna Vaeleneos:

    VYSENNA VAELENEOS

Lady of Mantarys | Played by: KRUGMAR
Born: 296 AC | Lady of Mantarys 310 AC -

Vysenna is the younger sister of Talaemor by one year. She was left largely ignored by her father, being raised by nurses and carers which developed her personality into a caring and trusting one. She is not a warrior and prefers to remain in their palace at Mantarys. She married her brother at the age of 15, a year after he had married her older sister. She stayed out of the First Tolosi war and remained in the city, to care for the children left behind and to keep a Vaeleneos presence within the city.

She has continued her life in the city, mainly staying shut away in the palaces caring for her daughter. She does not get on very well with her older sister, having very different ideals and ways of living. She has taken more of an interest in governing the city in the recent years, helping with matters involving coin and trade for which she has shown a natural affinity for.

    Additional Information: N/A

    Taemor Vaeleneos:
    Image
    TAEMOR VAELENEOS

    "The Golden"
Lord of Mantarys; Master of the Demon Road | Played by: KRUGMAR
Born: 314 AC | Prince of Mantarys 314 AC -

Taemor was born in 314 AL to Talaemor and Maelesa Vaeleneos. He has primarily been raised by his mother and so has adopted her focus on war, his relationship with his father is strained due to his fathers high expectations of him. His life has mainly been sheltered in Mantarys, though he has occasionally accompanied his parents on raids into Tolosi land and hunting for bandits. His relationship with his half-sister is strange, he barely knows her since they have been raised in separate wings of the palace due to their mothers dislike of each other.

His training has mainly been on traditional westerosi weapons, the sword and shield. He has been trained by both eastern and western mentors, the very best that Talaemor could hire. Much is expected of him as the heir to Mantarys and he can feel this burden upon his shoulders. He is soon to be married to his half-sister and dreads this day, fearing it more than battle with the Tolosi.

    Additional Information: N/A

    Elaena Vaeleneos:
    Image
    ELAEna VAELENEOS

Princess of Mantarys | Played by: KRUGMAR
Born: 316 AC | Princess of Mantarys 316 AC -

The youngest member of the family is Elaena, who is two years younger than her half-brother Taemor. She has been raised by her mother Vysenna for her whole life, rarely leaving her side. She has experienced little outside of the walls of the palace and only then she has been completely guarded. Her mother has taught her the proper ways of court etiquette and has recently been teaching her trade and accounting, though she hasn't taken to it as well. Her marriage to Taemor is soon arriving and she hardly knows him. Her father Talaemor hopes that the marriage will fix the rift between the two mothers, though the real reasons for the marriage are simple: To keep the dynasty going and keep the Valyrian blood pure.

Areo Cithien:

AREO CITHIEN

"The Sun King"; "The Slave King"; "The Red Dread of Tyrosh"
Pirate King of the Stepstones, Lys, and Tyrosh; Pirate Lord of Sunstone | Played by: ARANA (OP)
Born: 311 AC | Slave 311 AC - 328 AC| Pirate Lord of Sunstone 328 AC - | Pirate King of the Stepstones 328 AC - | Pirate King of Lys 329 AC - | Pirate King of Tyrosh 330 AC -

Born in Volantis in 311 AC, Areo Cithien, at the time just Areo, was a slave child, one of many in the city. At the time of Aero's birth, Volantis was in turmoil. Roughly a decade earlier, as Stannis Baratheon united Westeros and Daenerys Targaryen conquered Slaver's Bay, an immense wave of religious fervor hit the city. Both Stannis and Daenerys were believed by many to be the legendary hero Azor Ahai reborn. Led by the High Priest Benerro, the slaves of Volantis praised the two, mostly Daenerys, and declared their support for the Mother of Dragons. This starkly contrasted with the opinion of the Triarchs and landholders of Volantis, who cursed Daenerys, and rallied support against her. In 301, tensions finally boiled over, and the slaves of Volantis, along with the priests of R'hllor, rose in rebellion against the Triarchs. The rebellion lasted three years, with the Triarchs mainting control of the city. However, much of Volantis was in ruin, and many had died. Over the next decades, several more rebellions would occur, the bloodiest being in 307 AC. Each time, the Triarchs narrowly maintained their control over the city.

When Areo was five years old, he was sold as a Slave of R'hllor, and began training at the Temple of the Lord of Light to become a priest. At this time, he had flames tattooed on his cheek and forehead, although as he grew older they became covered by his long hair. There, he studied under a kind Red Priest, who taught him much. Despite the fact that he had been sold against his will into the service of the Lord of Light, he very much enjoyed his time there, and became very devout. Although this has never been confirmed, he is rumored to be a Shadowbinder, supposedly being capable of magic by the age of thirteen. His life, however, took a tragic turn when he was fifteen, and was kidnapped while walking outside the temple. His abductors brought him first to Lys, where he narrowly avoided being purchased, and then to Sunstone, where he wasn't so lucky. His new master, a pirate lord, demanded that Areo perform magic for him, and that he find visions in flames to allow the lord to tell the future. For two years, he quietly obeyed. When he was seventeen, however, while describing a vision for his master, the pirate lord was mysteriously struck down from behind, although no assailant could be found. According to Areo, he was struck down by a shadow. In the period that followed the pirate lord's death, Areo was able to rally many of the pirates of Sunstone behind him, promising them great things in exchange for their loyalty.

Clearly, he carried through with his promise. Within a year, Areo, through a combination of diplomacy, intimidation, and brute force, had united the Stepstones, and the next year his forces conquered and sacked Lys. His most notable conquest came a year after Lys, when in a surprise raid, his forces captured the city of Tyrosh, and within a month the rest of the Tyroshi Disputed Lands as well. Following the conquest, Areo issued a demand to the people of Tyrosh: convert and serve the Lord of Light, or burn at the stake. While many converted, others refused, and hundreds were burned to death in sacfrice to R'hllor, earning Areo the nickname 'the Red Dread of Tyrosh.' Now, Areo mainly just launches raids against the remaining Free Cities and against Westerosi merchants, although there are rumors that he may soon plan another invasion, rumors that have left many in Essos, including the mighty Iron Bank of Braavos, paralyzed with fear...

Additional Information: Areo dreams of obtaining a dragon, and rumor has it that his men may be searching the Smoking Sea for dragon eggs. Not much is known about him, leading to widespread and often incorrect stories about him throughout Essos and Westeros.

ARREN

"Eagle-Eye"
Sellsword | Played by: ASYIR
Born: 299 AC | No Title

Born in 299 AC into a farming family near Winterfell. Arren's younger days were spend assisting his father in planting and harvesting, exploring with his siblings around their farmstead, and hunting(poaching). Arren was kept sheltered during the events of the War of the Five Kings, with the family living far enough from Winterfell to be unaffected by Theon Greyjoy's attack on Winterfell. Nothing changed after the war, and Arren and his family lived out a peaceful existence for a time.

Towards his 15th birthday in 314 AC, his father passed away, and it left Arren and his older brothers Donnic and Eldric in charge of the farm. By 316 AC, his mother had passed on, and his sisters were married off to various smallfolk families. Arren felt no need to remain north on the farm, and his lust for adventure soon overtook him. He worked hard on the farm, saving his coin when he could. However, in the year 318 AC, the lords of Westeros went to war, and armies were being levied. Both Arren and Eldric were conscripted, leaving the farm to Donnic.

Life as a Stark soldier was less than glamorous for the bold Arren. He soon became dissatisfied with the way he was treated by his superiors, and soon deserted. He became a mercenary, and gained the nickname "Eagle Eye" for his bowmanship skills. Soon after the war ended, Arren heard word that Eldric died of disease, and decided to remain in King's Landing, working as a sword for hire. By 330 AC, the grizzled mercenary would soon offer himself to the crown, and hopefully strike it rich.

Additional Information: He loves coin.

RAVEN SNOW

"The Cold Boy"; "Tree Boy"
Wildling | Played by: ARANA (OP)
Born: 318 AC | No Title

Not much is really known about Raven. He was born roughly thirteen years ago, in a cave somewhere in the Haunted Forest, to the southwest of the Antler River. The exact location, however, is unknown, even to Raven himself, who has always just been able to find the way there from wherever he is. Although his entire life has been spent north of the Wall, his father is known to have been a kneeler from the south. The identity of his mother, however, is unknown. Remarkably, Raven has seemingly survived much of his life on his own, with neither of his parents ever being seen with him, and without a clan to raise and protect him. Technically though, he hasn't been completely on his own. Constantly accompanying Raven are his two companions: a grey direwolf, and a black crow. The three of them are inseparable, and Raven has regular conversations with the two. The two are essentially his family, the direwolf his guardian and the crow his mentor.

Although seemingly insignificant, Raven, like many other Wildlings, was born a warg, with the ability to enter and control the minds of animals. He is surprisingly talented for his age, possibly even at the level of a greenseer, leaving many who meet him to wonder about his childhood. Personality wise, Raven is rather friendly, quick-witted, and intelligent, and is more or less just a generally likable person. However, he does have a sort of unsettling presence around him, almost unnatural. His distinguishing features are his dark brown hair, pale skin, and ice-blue eyes, as well as the obvious direwolf and crow that accompany him. Furthermore, he always carries his prized possession at his side: a crystal blade, which he claims he took from a wight that he himself killed. What is much more likely, however, is that he just found it laying around and took it for his own. It appears to be a shorter version of those seen here. He's quite proficient with it, as well as with a bow and arrow, which has come as a result of having to survive in the bitter environment north of the Wall.

Additional Information: None. Yet...

Dragons

Image
Drogon, one of the three dragons of the former Queen Daenerys Targaryen, is currently the mightiest dragon known to be alive. The largest and most aggressive of the dragons as well, he can only be reined in by those he bonds with. Drogon has black scales, with blood red horns and spinal plates and smouldering red eyes. His wingspan is currently roughly 30 feet from tip to tip, and his fire is black and red. Drogon is currently commanded by Viserys Targaryen.

Image
Rhaegal, like Drogon and Viserion, is one of the dragons raised by the former Queen Daenerys Targaryen. Rhaegal has green scales, which vary in appearance from being moss green to shining like jade, depending on the time of day. Rhaegal's teeth and claws are black, and his eyes shine bronze, glowing from his own heat. His fire is orange and yellow, with veins of green. Rhaegal is currently commanded by Aemon Targaryen.

Image
Viserion, like Rhaegal and Drogon, is one of the three dragons raised by the former Queen Daenerys Targaryen. Viserion has cream colored scales, with gold horns, wing bones, and spinal crest. His teeth, like those of the other dragons, are black, and sharp as daggers. Viserion's eyes are like molten gold, and his fire is pale gold with red and orange. Viserion is currently commanded by Aemon Targaryen.

Image
Ghirach, also called Ghirach the Red, is a younger dragon, who's parent was the dragon Viserion. Ghirach is currently too young to fly. His scales are all red, as are his wings, leading to his name. Ghirach's eyes are gold, and his fire is red and orange. Ghirach is currently commanded by Desirhae Targaryen.

Image
Berras, sometimes called Hoshor by the Dothraki, is a younger dragon, who's parent was the dragon Drogon. Berras is currently too young to fly long distances, but can handle short flights. Berras has golden scales all over his body, as well as golden horns and wings. The only parts of Berras that aren't golden are his teeth, which are black like all dragons, and his eyes, which shine like rubies. Berras' fire is gold with veins of red. Berras is currently commanded by Viserys Targaryen.

Image
Aerax, sometimes referred to as Ice, is a younger dragon, who's parent was the dragon Viserion. Aerax is currently too young to fly long distances, but can handle short flights. Aerax has white and grey scales, with black teeth and red eyes. Aerax's fire is blue and white, much like ice, hence the nickname. Aerax is currently commanded by Aerion Targaryen.

I wouldn't think so. Margaery certainly is, but the head of House Tyrell would need to spend much of their time at Highgarden.

Understood. I'm sure fire-and-blood will bring the Tyrells together sooner or later, so to begin at Highgarden is fine. I'll have my app up tomorrow, as I have to go to sleep now. Good night. :)

Appearance: http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb2014 ... ile-HD.png
Biography (At least 2 well written paragraphs)
Joffrey is believed to be the oldest son and heir of King Robert Baratheon and Queen Cersei Lannister, both of whom entered into a political marriage alliance after Robert took the throne by force from the Mad King Aerys II Targaryen. In reality, his father is Jaime Lannister, the queen's brother and the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard. He has a younger sister, Myrcella, and a younger brother, Tommen , both whom are also the product of Jaime and Cersei's incest.

Joffrey takes after his mother in terms of looks and personality, his blonde hair being a subtle clue that he isn't really a Baratheon, who famously always possess black hair even when one of their parents possesses blonde hair. He is usually accompanied by his sworn shield, the formidable Sandor Clegane, who is better known as the Hound. Even before he ascends to the Iron Throne, Joffrey is spoiled, arrogant, cowardly, and sadistic; however these traits are further exacerbated upon Robert's death and his ascension to the crow

I hope I did good with the app. If there's a problem please let me know.

NS Nation Name: Nuridia
Character Name: Desirhae Targaryen
Nickname, if any: Dessy or Rhae, although she prefers Rhae
Title, if any: Princess of the Ghiscari Empire
Age: 15
Gender: Female
House Allegiance: House Targaryen
Appearance: 5'9 and slender with fair skin, bobbed platinum hair with a bright gold streak down the middle and large purple eyes in a heart shaped face. Wears a long light brown wig when in disguise.
Biography (At least 2 well written paragraphs) Aemon Targaryen was born into the royal house of Targaryen that reigned over Westeros for three hundred years, a son of one of the dragon blooded kings. After the events of Robert's Rebellion, as a young child the prince fled to Essos to escape the slaughter of his house. Eventually, he grew up and came to rule the Ghiscari Empire as their emperor and took as his wife the Princess Jina who was the daughter of the previous emperor. Eventually, after a few years of marriage Aegon's wife bore him a daughter who bore the trademark features of the blood of the dragon and the child was named Desirhae, using a character that had been so common in Targayen names. Her existence had been kept secret from Westeros, as she is one of the few Targaryens left alive. Growing up peacefully in Essos, Desirhae was trained like any other heir to the throne as a warrior and as a scholar. She excelled in her studies and proved a very excellent swordswoman, eventually her father granted her a Valyrian steel blade as a present for winning a tourney and she named it Storm Dragon. One day at eight years old while travelling, she found a dragon egg deep within a cavern that was bright red and swirled with silver. Taking it home and hatching it, she named the dragon Ghirach and it became her constant companion.

Although her parents had hoped, Empress Jira bore no sons and so Desirhae was named as the heir to the throne of the empire. It was unheard of as no woman had ever ruled there before, but there's a first time for everything. She learned the history of her people first in the Valyrian Freehold and then when Aegon the Conqueror and his two sister-queens conquered Westeros and ruled it. But what interested the young Princess the most was the story of Daenerys Stormborn, the rightful Targaryen Queen of Westeros who was banished from her lands. Ever since then, Rhae learned all she could about Westeros and about Daenerys, wanting to meet her one day but she onl caught the one glimpse of the Mother of Dragons from a distance when she was only a child. Since world travels quickly, Desirhae heard everything from Daeverys finally reclaiming her throne to her dynastic marriage to the nephew that she never knew she had. But ever since the massacre of the King and Queen, Desirhae has wanted to seek out her cousins, the children of Daenerys and offer them her support to gain their throne back from the usurpers. Upon hearing word of two of her mystery cousins here in Essos, Desirhae has journeyed with her dragon to go and find them, concealing her identity during her travels.
Any Additional Information: She has a dragon called Ghirach the Red, it's not fully grown but is large enough to fly on.

First off, his name is Aemon, not Aegon. Second, Roberts Rebellion was in 283, before Aemon, or even his parents, were even born. Third, no to the dragon egg, although you can have a baby dragon. Fourth, a woman has ruled there before. Daenerys. That's why her son is Emperor.

I like your idea, but it needs a lot of reworking. Maybe try reading the introduction?

Oh, so she's Daenerys' granddaughter? Okay then, I'll fix the bio. And I put Aegon for Aegon the Conqueror.

...what does he have to do with this? And why would Aemon be nicknamed Egg?

Just for history, I imagined that Aemon would be telling his daughter about her history Also that one was my fault, I was thinking about the wrong Aemon. I just finished reading the introduction and so I'm going to fix my mistakes.

Appearance: Young looks about 17 (12 was considered full adult for similar time periods), Slightly shorter than average height, Long hair past shoulder lenght, Dressed in casual atire for the region (similar to heavy Korean Jeogori and Baji; Belted-Plaid minus the plaid; and Hijab), and a buckler and Spatha on the right hand side.

Biography:

Any Additional Information:

NS Nation Name: The Great Nation of Dan
House Name: House Kurwek (Pronounced Quu-ur-wic-ue)
Leader: Elder Council of Kurwek
Lands: Yhang Suo Dnae (A 4 island cluster a half day frigate travel off the north-west coast of "The North" region. Referred to as being part of the Free Folk.)
Overlord, if any: Upper Councils of Kurwek
Coat of Arms: Every council member has their own. But the collective symbol is just to have a guy carry a 30 plane green flag pike.

(Will continue soon...but any problems as of now with my App? Because from what I'm seeing here I can fully create anything I want as of now as long as it fits well into the canon of Game of Thrones. I've only watched about 4 episodes of the show.)

...these islands don't exist, the Free Folk don't have governments or coats of arms, and I don't think any of those weapons are used in Westeros.

Biography (At least 2 well written paragraphs) Aemon Targaryen was born into the royal house of Targaryen that reigned over Westeros for three hundred years, a son of of the famous Mother of Dragons herself Daenerys Targaryen who fulfilled her dream of becoming Queen of Westeros and married her long-lost nephew King Jon Stark-Targaryen. Accepted, although as a heads up, it won't be easy to find Viserys. A khalasar moves constantly, and other khalasars might attack her.

Most likely, unless somebody else takes them. And they'd have to impress me.

Tag, would like to reserve the starks of Winterfell. Who in this story line would Jon have left the North to once he became king? One of his younger sons or are Bran and Rickon discovered to be alive?
