Background Info
In 2034 fossil fuel reserves depleting, and war overtook the world. Some called it World War III other called it the Resource War, but no matter where you were or what you called it you were effected. America, the most reliant on fossil fuels, began annexing its neighboring countries in attempts to harbor their resources. This was met by similar things happening in Europe; Spain annexed much if western Europe; and the United Kingdom was ravaged by rebellions. The UK lasted only two years before it was torn apart by its very own people.

Meanwhile in Africa, nations like Nigeria and South Africa dominated the scene and attained much of the continents land. This led to extremely strained relations between the two countries but eventually they came together as one unified Africa. China fell quickly to rebellion and war from its neighboring countries; while Russia was swiftly invaded by many western countries and fell apart. These alliances and annexations didn't last long because in 2048 fossil fuels were completely depleted and hopeless citizens began revolting in every nation. The US declared war on every country, and all alliances fell apart. On, May 2, 2050 the first nuclear missile was launched; and the end if the world as we knew it began.

Now five decades later, radiation has significantly lowered and new nations have emerged. Most were formed by citizens banding together to stay alive. While others were formed by greedy men and women who wanted power and control. They have been rebuilding and now they emerging to reclaim their former glory. In order to maintain peace these nations have created the Coalition of Nations, to replace the failed United Nations. The year is 2100 it is a new century in a brand new world!

In additional note on realism, realistically it would be past 2100. But when you consider the name, 2200 or 3000. People will think of space conquerors. This also applies to this, but (insert hypocrite joke here)
