Fifty years. Fifty prosperous, tragically short years have passed since Daenerys' landing, in which the true heir of the Mad King arrived to take her throne. Since the Second Dance of Dragons, in which the two competitors killed one another for Aegon's chair. Since the Second Long Night, in which the politics of the realm halted while everyone rallied under a single banner, to fight an enemy worse than themselves. This RP (a spiritual successor/remake of Aftermath) takes place roughly fifty two years after the events of A Dance with Dragons. The backstory is mostly a happy ending (that's, admittedly, perhaps too optimistic) that focuses around Daenerys Targaryen winning back her birthright. However, no ending is truly happy.

To understand this situation, you must be fully aware of the backstory. It takes place right where ADWD left off. Queen Daenerys is still missing from her city, but little does her retinue know, she is in the Dothraki Sea, Drogon at her side, encountering a massive khalasar led by Khal Jhaqo. Across the sea, Aegon Targaryen has landed in Westeros with the Golden Company, and has set about conquering the Stormlands at an alarming rate. Aegon, Jon Connington and Captain-General Harry Strickland set their hungry eyes in Storm's End. Up north, Jon Snow has just been stabbed to death by Bowen Marsh and several other mutineers after Jon pledged to march south and aid Stannis Baratheon after receiving threat from Ramsay Bolton (otherwise known as Ramsay Snow). The Night's Watch is leaderless, and it's status unknown. In the capital, Lord Regent Kevan Lannister has just been slain by Varys, but not before making it clear that he was doing it for Aegon. The method of assassination (via crossbow) is sure to stir trouble between Queen Cersei Lannister and the Tyrells. As Ser Jaime Lannister attempts to bring peace to the Riverlands, he is encountered by Brienne of Tarth, who pledged to find the Stark girls and protect them. Little does he know, Brienne was captured by the mysterious Lady Stoneheart (the late Catelyn Stark) and pledged to serve her in order to save her young squire, Podrick Payne. Unfortunately, Lady Stoneheart only wants the worst for Jaime. In the high mountains of the Vale, Lord Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish has murdered Lady Lysa Arryn after revealing it was he who plotted everything, from Jon Arryn's murder to the war in and of itself. After using his wits to outsmart the lords of the Vale, he keeps his true secret weapon hidden away. That weapon is Alayne Stone, an alias of Sansa Stark. Back across the sea, Ser Barristan Selmy, allied with Grey Worm, the Meereeneese freedmen and Skahaz mo Kandaq, defends the city in the Queen's name. With the help of the Tattered Prince, Ben Plumm, Ser Jorah Mormont and last but not least, Tyrion Lannister on the other side of the battle, Ser Barristan looks to emerge victorious. However, Ironborn raiders under the command of Victarion Greyjoy are landing in the bay. With a mysterious Valyrian dragonhorn, it is unknown how they will play a role in the battle.

As Daenerys prepared to expect the worse from her husband's former ko, he eyed the dragon, who seemed to be keeping her as a master. Instead of risking himself, Jhaqo instead opted to kindly escort her to Vaes Dothrak, where she could present herself to the dosh khaleen. Daenerys, although skeptical, did not fear Jhaqo or the old former khaleesis. She successfully tamed Drogon and rode above Jhaqo's khalasar. Dropping the jaws of Dothraki warriors and slaves alike below, Daenerys soared to the top of the Mother of Mountains, defying Dothraki tradition. After such a show, the dosh khaleen bowed before her, on dragonback, and proclaimed her dragons the collective "Stallion who Mounts the World". For the first time in history, the Dothaki were to be unified. Under the leadership of a khaleesi, at that. Daenerys soared the seas for a time and gathered a khalasar 100,000 strong and set out for Slaver's Bay.

Back in Meereen, the Windblown and Second Sons' betrayals were enough to cripple the Yunkai, who were left with the incompetent slave soldiers and the Company of the Cat. The Tattered Prince slew Bloodbeard and freed the Meereenese prisoners. Meanwhile, the Second Sons (who declared they were always Queen's men) used their position to utterly destroy the Yunkish. They sabotaged the siege equipment and decimated the slave soldiers. Ser Jorah Mormont volunteered to remove the supreme commanders, which he did so coldly and efficiently. Using a few mercenaries and Tyrion's wits, Ser Jorah used the confusion to sneak in the camps and kill the Yunkish leadership. He captured a few, though. Lady Melessa (the Girl General), the Perfumed Hero and the Clanker Lords were all taken for hostage. Within hours, the Yunkish host was annihilated and the day was won for Daenerys by Ser Barristan.

Little to their knowledge, however, the Ironborn who stormed the bay had other plans. Victarion plans to sacrifice the dusky woman. However, his plans are foiled whenever the dusky woman drives a blade through his neck, revealing herself as one of Euron's spies. She planned to report back to Euron, however, Moqorro then killed her, fulfilling the necessary blood sacrifice. Moqorro then blew the horn, draining the life out of him. Just as Moqorro died, he transferred his soul into Victarion's lifeless body. Just as he rose into his new form to see that Rhaegal and Viserion flew right to him, and waited patiently for further commands. As it turned out, the flaming arm Moqorro gifted to Victarion was actually a complicated dragon handling spell used by earlier dragon conquerors. As Moqorro/"Victarion" took the dragons under his will, Meereen watched in horror.

Across the sea, Jon Snow lay dead, a victim of a mutiny. However, Melisandre recovered his body and performed a complicated spell, draining some of her life force for his. When it was over, Jon emerged unscathed, but Melisandre wasn't as lucky. She was still alive and well, but her prophetic visions and arcane powers were lost. Jon stated that he would put Bowen Marsh's head on a spike and take back the Night's Watch. Melisandre urged him not to, saying that his contributions to the Watch have already saved them and as Azor Ahai, it was his duty to travel his kingdom and seek out his Lightbringer. After inquiring over what this was, Melisandre told him. Dragons.

Back on the Wall, Bowen Marsh attempted to restore order. After an attempted eviction of the wildlings, however, things went south. Tormund Giantsbane let a coup, allying himself with the black brothers still loyal to Jon. Bowen Marsh and his supporters were killed, while Queen Selyse and her men were held in detainment. Before anything could be decided, Jon returned. He informed the Watch that he had indeed died, meaning he was free from his vows. However, he would return and take up the black once he got the support of the rumored Dragon Queen. In the meantime, he named Dolorous Edd Tollett the First Steward and named Ser Denys Mallister Lord Commander until they had time to elect a new one. Jon Snow said goodbye to the Watch, leaving behind his black cloak and Longclaw, as an assurance that he would be back for them in due time. He marched South, taking with him a few hundred Wildling or Watch volunteers, Ghost and Melisandre.

At Winterfell, the battle raged. After the Manderly host turned against the Boltons before engaging with Stannis, they relied only on the Karstark's betrayal. Little did Lord Roose know, Stannis caught on and forced them to cooperate. Stannis captured Winterfell, putting Roose and Ramsay to the sword. As Stannis made himself at home in Winterfell's walls, he prepared to execute Theon Greyjoy by beheading, as opposed to burning, at Asha's request. However, on the scheduled day of execution, word came back from White Harbor. Just as Lord Wyman told Stannis, Ser Davos Seaworth was not dead. Merely on a special mission. It was finally revealed as he returned to White Harbor with Wyman's prize: a wildling woman, a big black direwolf and, most importantly, Rickon Stark.

In King's Landing, following the discovery of the crossbow bolt-strewn bodies of Kevan Lannister and Grand Maester Pycelle, Cersei took her seat back and gave in to intense paranoia. The Tyrells were distanced farther, until Cersei attempted to remove them from the small council and annul Margaery's future marriage to Tommen. Lady Olenna, taking advice from Varys, organized a coup. Ser Loras Tyrell, who wasn't mortally wounded on Dragonstone, revealing it was only a feign, was smuggled back into the city. After joining the coup (led by Lord Randyll Tarly) with the Faith Militant and the Gold Cloaks, he slew Ser Boros Blount and Ser Meryn Trant. When he reached the throne room, King Tommen, Queen Cersei and Ser Robert Strong were nowhere to be found. Varys secretly warned her to flee to the free cities and take her monstrosity with her for defense. She nearly killed the eunuch, but fortunately, she was a better mother than she was a queen. She agreed to flee, for Tommen's sake. Instead of Essos, though, she fled to Casterly Rock, faithful that men would still flock to Tommen's banner.

In the Riverlands, Jaime followed Brienne to the lair of the Brotherhood Without Banners, expecting to find Sansa Stark in Sandor Clegane's clutches. Instead, he was attacked and captured by Lady Stoneheart. Still spiteful to the knight, the late Catelyn planned to hang Jaime. However, Brienne, feeling guilty over the betrayal, pleaded with Thoros of Myr, who seemed to be apprehensive with his support for her. Thoros agreed to help. He told her that LSH could not be killed by conventional means. Thoros took Oathkeeper and immolated it in a holy flame. Just before the execution was to take place, Brienne drew her sword and plunged it into Catelyn's breast. As Catelyn died in Brienne's arms, the latter, tears in her eyes, pledged to find the girls. She would keep her oath, no matter what. Thoros took command of the Brotherhood, while Jaime, Brienne, Podrick and Ser Hyle Hunt departed for the capital.

Aegon led the siege on Storm's End, with Lord Rowan's force mysteriously absent. The castle fell after a daring charge by Aegon. Just after the Stormlands were captured, Aegon met a visitor from Dorne. Arianne Martell was sent to see if this Aegon was the real deal. After witnessing his power, Arianne put forth Prince Doran's marriage proposal. Aegon, with the encouragement of Jon Connington, was about to agree to it, allying himself with the Dornish. However, a messenger from King's Landing arrived just before he accepted. House Tyrell had taken the throne, and would surrender it to Aegon on the condition that he take Margaery Tyrell as his wife and queen. Aegon and Jon were at a standstill. Seal an alliance with Dorne or the Reach?

Back across the Narrow Sea, Daenerys sacked Yunkai and Astapor with her huge khalasar and Drogon. She reinstated free rule, put the slavers to the sword and used the fear of dragons and Dothraki raids in an attempt to keep it that way. She then made her way back to Meereen. She was greeted by Ser Barristan and Skahaz Shavepate, who were also accompanied by several unexpected allies. Tyrion (who made a good impression on the queen right off the bat for his wit and honesty), Brown Ben (who told Daenerys he only turned cloak to analyze the Yunkish), and (surprisingly) Ser Jorah. Most importantly, however, was "Victarion Greyjoy" who seemed to be controlling the two other dragons. "Victarion" told her that he wasn't who he seemed. The Iron Fleet was there to abduct her and bring her back to Euron. He revealed to her that he was actually the red priest Moqorro and he had burned all of the Euron supporters and would continue posing as Victarion to sway the Iron Fleet to her side. With that, Daenerys had her fleet, had a great army and her dragons were under control. She could go home.

Back at Winterfell, Jon Snow and his makeshift army met up with Stannis. The harsh winter conditions had forced Stannis to stay at Winterfell for a time, so he wasn't going anywhere. Melisandre told Stannis of her sacrifice. The king was devastated, but realized that it was probably for the better. Stannis showed Jon "Arya", but he immediately recognized her as Jeyne Poole. However, not all hope was lost. Stannis also informed him that he held Theon hostage, who indeed confirmed that he didn't lay a hand on Bran or Rickon. Stannis told Jon that Rickon was safely tucked away at White Harbor. Jon was happy, but demanded that Theon still be punished for his betrayal. Stannis refused, stating that the Northern lords seemed to not care about him anymore, seeing as the Stark boys were still apparently alive, and that he could potentially use him and Asha to win back the Iron Islands. Infuriated, Jon sneaks into the cells to do it himself. However, after seeing what Theon had become, he decided not to. He said goodbye to Stannis and headed south. With Aegon conquering down there, he figured the Dragon Queen would show up soon enough.

As Jaime approached the capital, he had heard the news of the Tyrell's betrayal and Cersei's disappearance. He immediately turned around for Lannisport. After several weeks travel, he arrived to a Casterly Rock outfitted for war. The few men Cersei could gather for war were readying themselves. Jaime immediately pleaded with her to stop. They could forget thrones and live out the rest of their lives at Casterly, where they could be together. They would raise Tommen as a son. With some cosmetic work from Qyburn, Jaime could be passed off as a Lannisport cousin and they could even marry. Cersei brushed him off and continued her warmongering. Jaime was disappointed, but decided that Casterly Rock was the safest place for him at the moment. However, he seemed to look north quite a bit.

Aegon journeyed to the Crownlands with Jon Connington and an escort of Golden Company knights, leaving Arianne at Storm's End. He was given a hero's welcome. The smallfolk saw him as the dragon come again, to bring back the Targaryen peace. He found Margaery Tyrell sitting next to the throne, waiting for him. The Tyrells reported that Aegon sat on the throne and took to it well. Although putting his marriage requests off, he made his first moves as king. He ordered the delivery of enough food to feed the entire city. The smallfolk loved him for it.

As one dragon made his move, another started making hers in Slaver's Bay. The Unsullied, Ironborn Raiders, Sellswords and a small contingent of Dothraki screamers were loaded onto the Iron Fleet and were ready to land in Westeros. She decided to reintroduce Ser Jorah (who was much more cynical at this point and proved his loyalty to her by travelling back) into the Queensguard and she took Tyrion as an adviser. They planned to land in Dorne, though, news struck eventually. Aegon Targaryen, her long-dead nephew, has taken the Iron Throne. Barristan was skeptical, but Daenerys saw it as an opportunity. They would land in the Blackwater and she would marry him. Simple. Daenerys appointed Skahaz Lord of Meereen and Slaver's Bay. She also pledged that if her Queendom was threatened with slavery, her Dothraki would raid and pillage and she would return on dragonback, bringing fire and blood with her. That fear was enough for most of the Ghiscari. The Iron Fleet sailed off into the sunset, three large dragons overhead, the largest of them ridden by Daenerys. They would later stop in Pentos, where, with the support of Illyrio, the Tattered Prince got his payment in a bloodless coup.

News traveled fast. Westeros was terrified of Daenerys. "Aegon the Conqueror with teats" was invading at last. Aegon heard the news and smiled. He knew that his aunt would show up once he made face. He was prepared to accept her, but a complication occured. Daenerys planned to name herself queen. Aegon had already pledged himself to either Arianne or Margaery. The Golden Company suggested war, but Jon Connington advised against it, knowledgeable that Daenerys possessed both dragons and Unsullied. A war would be bloody. Regardless, Aegon readied his company just in case.

In the Vale, Littlefinger made his move. He revealed Alayne Stone was really Sansa Stark. The Vale lords were skeptical at first, but the Royces recognized her. Word got to the North, and even more excitement erupted. Littlefinger made it clear he was to declare for Daenerys. With Sansa's approval, the Vale became the first realm to declare for the queen. A week later, Robin Arryn died of a fever. Littlefinger was reportedly smirking when his body was discovered. He arranged a marriage to Harold Hardyng and laid claim to Winterfell in Sansa's name. However, Stannis held the castle and Rickon Stark, complicating matters.

As the Iron Fleet made it's way to Westeros, Dany set out on a personal quest. She flew ahead of her army and flew right towards Dorne. After finding Sunspear, she landed there with the bones of Quentyn Martell. She approached Prince Doran and gave an apology for his son's death at the hands of one of her dragons. Doran was upset at Dany for the reveal, but as he eyed Drogon, he knew that declaring against her would be a foolish move. The ever-cunning and calculating Doran instead decided to take a gamble. With Arianne potentially marrying Aegon, he would keep a foot firmly in the Targaryen camp. Doran declared (although not formally) for Daenerys and sent Prince Trystane to attend her. A small Dornish ship carrying him linked up with the Iron Fleet. Dany decided to wait and present herself to Aegon whenever her fleet landed. Trystane was then directed to squire for Tyrion.

Jon Snow eventually made it south (although not before meeting with Howland Reed in the Neck, revealing some very interesting information). Instead of chancing it with Aegon, he decided to wait for Dany. When the first ship arrived (carrying Ser Barristan, Ser Jorah, Tyrion, and Trystane), Daenerys landed with them. Jon intercepted them before they made their way to the Red Keep. Jon pleaded with her, stating that the Others were on their doorstep and her dragons were the only hope that humanity in Westeros had. Dany, having had many experiences with forces of magic, agreed to assist him, but not before she took her throne. Jon, desperate to speed up the process, revealed his history. He is the bastard son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen, making him her nephew.

Aegon heard the news of Dany's landing. He called up the Golden Company just in case, and opened his gates for her. Dany arrived in the city on her silver, forsaking Drogon for the sake of PR. Aegon greeted her warmly. It looked to be going good, until Daenerys asked why he sat the Iron Throne. Aegom smugly replied that he was the king and his claim would always be superior to hers. After a heated yelling match, things went down. Dany stormed out of the throne room and Aegon called his banners. He finalized his marriage to Margaery Tyrell, snubbing Arianne. She eventually heard of this slight and returned to Dorne.

Daenerys did not have to fight the usurper as planned. Instead, she would fight her own nephew. Infuriated, Daenerys decided to march north as opposed to the capital just south of her. The war-torn and snowed-in Riverlands provided no resistance. Several houses even declared for her. She eventually found her way to the Twins. Walder Frey offered intentions to side with her, but Tyrion advised against it, explaining what happened with King Robb. Dany, however, accepted, much to everyone's chagrin. In a celebration feast, Dany brought exotic contortionists from Slaver's Bay and locked her dragons away. Dany then called a toast to Walder and his family. As everyone drank, the contortionists produced spears and began killing Freys mercilessly. The women, children and few males who wanted no part in the Red Wedding were spared. The contortionists were actually Unsullied. Grey Worm held his spear to Walder's neck. Dany held another toast, stating that her loyalty would be about as strong as the loyalty Lord Frey showed to Robb Stark. The corpses of Black Walder Frey and Walder Rivers were found by the dragons, barely recognizable. They had stolen Unsullied uniforms and were planning to kill them. Walder planned to declare for Aegon and present him with the dragons' bodies and Daenerys, naked and chained. Walder was executed later, and the Twins eventually passed to Ser Perwyn Frey, Robb's former battle companion and a Northern sympathizer. The Battle of the Twins marked the first engagement in the second Dance of the Dragons.

Factions were drawn. While the Westerlands was still holding out for Tommen and the North was firmly for Stannis following the Siege of Winterfell, the Reach, the Stormlands, the Crownlands and a few small contingents of the Riverlands declared for Aegon. Dorne, the Vale and about half of the Riverlands were Dany's. Daenerys was outnumbered, but many hoped the dragons would close that gap. Her advisers pleaded with her to join her men to Stannis. Although Stannis' claim was strong and he was the brother of the usurper, Tyrion noted that he was a dutiful man with the best of intentions for the realm. Dany hesitated, but agreed to parley. With anything north of the Neck buried in impassable snow and ice, Daenerys decided to fly there, with a small host consisting of Jon Snow, her Queensguard and Tyrion taking to the ground.

She eventually braved the snow and reached Winterfell. Stannis wasn't amused whenever Daenerys demanded that he give up his claim. Her offerings were good. He would receive Storm's End and become Lord Paramount of the Stormlands once more. Daenerys even offered to make Stannis a potential heir. A combination of the dragon's presence and the encouragement of both Jon Snow and Melisandre eventually led him to bow before Daenerys and proclaim her his queen. Daenerys also brought forth several northern captives freed from the Riverlands. Greatjon Umber and Harrion Karstark among them. Despite the fact that the North was basically inaccessible, it was Dany territory.

Down south, Dorne unleashed it's strength against the Stormlands and the Reach. The Golden Company pushed into the passes and eventually scattered the Dornishmen. With the reports of fighting in the south, Daenerys honored her promise to Jon Snow. She set aside Rhaegal for his use. She promised that she would lead all the dragons back once she won. Some noted that the goodbye between Daenerys and Jon was a bit too warm. It was rumored that they were lovers for a time. Regardless, Dany met up with Barristan and her army, which was besieging Riverrun. After Brynden Tully revealed himself to Barristan, he led a small group of Unsullied in the walls and killed Emmon Frey. Afterwards, Brynden was named castellan for Lord Edmure. With Riverrun back in Tully hands, the Riverlands rallied to Daenerys.

Although the Dornishmen fought fiercely, the passes were lost and the Golden Company (backed by men from the Stormlands and Reach) stepped onto the country. The Iron Fleet (under the command of Moqorro), backed by Viserion, began patrolling Dorne and sending the dragon to make strafing runs on GC positions. The Iron Fleet eventually clashed with the Redwyne fleet near the Arbor, where the Iron Fleet emerged victorious, despite heavy losses. However, Dorne was still being slowly occupied by the invaders. They took every castle from Wyl to Hellholt to the Tor. However, classic Dornish guerrilla warfare wore down the Company. Within two months, the Company was forced to pull out, leaving Dorne to continue it's support for the queen.

Meanwhile, Tyrion embarked on a personal journey. Taking as many sellswords that cared to come with him, he set off for the Westerlands. By using his knowledge of Casterly Rock's drain systems, he infiltrated the castle with a crossbow. He found Cersei's chambers and waited for her to go to the privy and finish matters in the style of Tywin. After several hours of waiting, he eventually decided to get it over with. He walked up to her bed. After removing the sheets, he found his sister dead where she lay. In her hands rested an old iron coin with the words "valar morghulis" inscribed. Tyrion was upset that he couldn't kill her, but took solace in the fact that she was indeed dead.

He eventually found his way to Tommen's chambers. There, he found Jaime sitting in a corner, white cloak (stained with blood) on, Oathkeeper across his lap, watching Tommen sleep. The moment Tyrion walked in, Jaime immediately and solemnly asks if he found her, not taking his eyes off the boy king. Tyrion said yes, and asked if he did it. Jaime said no, he found her like that whenever he tried to warm her bed earlier. Jaime also admits that he was waiting for Tyrion. He killed every last one of Cersei's supporters in their sleep. The castle was ripe for his taking. Jaime then shed his white cloak, revealing a simple black one he wore underneath. Jaime knew that he wouldn't be safe now that he's guilty of murdering the father/grandfather of the only two claimants left. He announced that he would be braving the North to join the Night's Watch. He handed Tyrion the sword and told him to give it to Brienne. It was hers. Tyrion attempted to stop him, on the grounds that Daenerys had plans to make him Hand and he could talk her out of punishing him. Jaime refused, saying that he had failed in his duties too many times. He needed the Watch. Tyrion sighed, but wished him well anyway, promising to visit him on the wall so they could piss off the edge together. After hugging it out, Brown Ben helped Tyrion seize the castle. It was revealed that Brienne had defeated Ser Robert Strong earlier on. Tyrion took his seat, and declared the Westerlands for Queen Daenerys.

As that went on, Daenerys began her Reach campaign. The Dothraki used the cover of snowstorms to harass armies of the move, paving the way for the rest of the army. Drogon and Daenerys flew high above, scouting out the armies and relaying the information back to the captains on the ground. Meanwhile, the Iron Fleet finished it's rounds in Dorne and began raiding the Shield Islands once more. However, Euron Greyjoy was waiting for them. After a heated battle, many ships of the Iron Fleet sink. "Victarion"/Moqorro lay dead, with Euron smiling over his corpse. He then mimicked the spell Moqorro gave Victarion with the help of several of his court wizards. By the time Viserion came down to investigate the disappearance of his master, Euron had punched the dragon in the face with the flaming fist. After it recovered it seemed to follow him. Euron then hopped on Viserion's back and searched the skies for his queen.

Daenerys army eventually reached Highgarden. With the noted absence of the Iron Fleet, Dany became suspicious. She took to the skies to look for Moqorro, Viserion and her ships. She eventually found Viserion as he unleashed a gout of flame at her. Dany realized that Viserion was mounted. After a brief air battle, Euron eventually utilized his spell to force Drogon to his side. After suffering from a serious burn from her own dragon, Daenerys fell from the sky and landed in the ocean. Her last thoughts are of the house with the red door.

However, all is not what it seems. Daenerys wakes up several days later on Pyke. She finds her wounds have been tended to, but she is chained to the bed. Euron later walks in with a smile, greeting her as his salt wife and Queen of Salt and Rock. Dany yells at him, stating that he will die in dragonfire if she isn't released. Euron then explains that he was Viserion's rider and both of her dragons are his now. For a good three months, Dany remained a prisoner of Euron. Despite being his "queen", she was kept chained and was raped several times by him. However, she didn't seem to mind the rape so much as the sight of Euron taking one of her dragons for a flight. After one eventful argument, Euron decided that enough was enough. He set about cutting her tongue out. Just as she was getting held down, a shadow appeared behind him. Before he could proceed with the cutting, the shadow stabbed him through the neck and disappeared. It is reported that Euron gave a light chuckle as he choked on his own blood.

Dany escaped in the confusion. Outside, she found not two, but all three of her dragons wreaking havoc. Rhaegal landed with Jon Snow on his back. All the while, ships under the command of Stannis invaded the islands. In the invasion, Stannis placed Asha on the seastone chair, stating that Theon wouldn't be very suitable due to his mental state. Jon took Dany to Stannis. There, she found the corpse of Melisandre. Jon explains that he had sex with her at her request. She had enough power to birth one last shadow assassin, knowing full well that it would kill her. Dany called her a hero and promised Stannis that he would be well rewarded for his help. As for Jon...

In the capital, Aegon struggled to rule. Even with Daenerys' mysterious disappearance, the Reach continued to fall. Tyrell had left him to save their own home. Little did they know, Willas was no fool and already surrendered the castle to Barristan. The army was headed right for him. In a last ditch effort, Aegon, much to Jon Connington's chagrin, abandoned his throne and fled back to Storm's End. Fortunately, Tyrion had already made his way to the Crownlands and allied himself with an old friend: Ser Bronn Stokeworth. After a brief clash with the Gold Cloaks, Stokeworth's men and Tyrion's sellswords were greeted by Varys, who explained that Aegon was proving to be a mummer's dragon at best. Tyrion decided to deal with him later. Right now, he had a throne to take.

As Stannis lands at Highgarden, he is relieved. The sounds of Jon and Dany having sex on-board his ship nearly drive him to the edge. Daenerys is welcomed back by her usual retainers. Word came back from King's Landing that Aegon has fled south and Tyrion has secured her throne. Stannis immediately departed with his men to take back Storm's End. Daenerys (although hesitant to do so) mounted Drogon once more and flew to King's Landing. She claimed her throne. The superstitious smallfolk cheered for her even more loudly than they did Aegon, seeing the return of dragons as a sign of the winter soon being over and the summers to get longer.

Daenerys then flew down to Storm's End, where Stannis' army surrounded the castle. The castle was packed with over seven thousand men of the Golden Company. They would starve soon enough. Daenerys urged Aegon to surrender. She would give him Dragonstone and name him her heir if he just came peacefully and ended the bloodshed. Aegon refused every proposal, stubborn to win back his father's rightful seat. However, while negotiations broke down, the unthinkable happened. Jon Snow flew south as fast as he could. Daenerys needed to bring the dragons and whatever men she could spare. The Second Dance was over with that message. The Second Long Night had begun.

At the Wall, Jon's competence in extending their presence bought Dany enough time to arrive with her dragons. Although thousands of Others and Wights were burned, the Wall was eventually overrun. A retreat was ordered. Rickon Stark, with Wyman Manderly as regent, fled south. The Others pillaged the North and headed south. At the Neck, the crannogmen did all they could to hold them, but it was of no use. The Others eventually reached the Riverlands. Despite facing constant harassment from the dragons above, they moved quickly and killed anything in their path.

Near the Twins, the first of the land forces met up with the Night's Watch. They were given obsidian blades and told to shoot wildfire at the wights. Although that defense was unsuccessful, the combined army of the realm did not give in. They fought fiercely. The Riverlands were a wasteland once more, with bodies piling up and raising once again. It was reported that many notable people died in this conflict. Aegon, who had supposedly sacrificed himself to save Daenerys, was one of them. There was no time to mourn, however, since the Others got as far as the Reach and the Crownlands.

Jon Snow would have no more of it. He hopped on Rhaegar's back and gave a passionate goodbye to Daenerys. He flew to the Nightfort, where he found the supposed leader of the white walkers: the Night's King. After a heated battle, Jon won out and drove Longclaw into his chest. He pulled it out, revealing that it was immolated in an almost holy fire. He smiled, then collapsed. Despite being victorious, Jon was mortally wounded. Daenerys, who had decided to follow him, came across him as he lay in a pool of his own blood. He died in her arms. Daenerys returned to see that the white walkers were retreating. Dany was pleased to see that they won, but she got cynical over the cost.

As the years went by, Dany ruled fairly and effectively. The dragons were not chained away, and were instead given free roam near Dragonstone. Tyrion was made Hand of the Queen, and he took Tommen as his ward. Ser Barristan died a couple years after the Long Night after a wound he suffered then reopened. Daenerys was devastated, but Barristan was happy that he died a knight in service to a queen he believed in. Ser Jorah was offered to take his place as Lord Commander of the Queensguard, but he refused. Instead, he honored his father by joining the Night's Watch. He eventually earned a position as First Ranger, and was given Longclaw (a badge of office for the Lord Commander). Jaime Lannister proved himself in the Long Night as a true sworn brother. He was elected Lord Commander of the Watch the following year. He reportedly laughed to himself, satisfied that he finally fulfilled a duty to the realm. Brienne of Tarth later found herself in the Queensguard, where she was made Lord Commander. Oathkeeper remains a badge of office for the Lord Commander to this day. Varys disappeared when the Long Night broke out. No one has heard from him since.

Stannis served as Daenerys' justiciar/Master of Laws. He retired to Storm's End later on. Rickon later returned to Winterfell to serve as it's lord. When he came of age, he took full responsibility as Lord Paramount. Edmure Tully reunited with Roslin and their new baby son. They lived peacefully, managing the region that was not one year ago torn by war and devastation. The Tyrells were pardoned for siding with Aegon. Willas continued to rule Highgarden after his father died alongside Loras and Garlan in the Long Night. Margaery, tragically, took her own life after she heard of Aegon's fate. Asha Greyjoy ruled as Lady Paramount of the Iron Islands. She eventually served as Dany's Master of Ships. Theon locked himself in his room, suffering from intense post-traumatic stress disorder due to his treatment under Ramsay. However, as it turned out, he fathered two twin bastards with the Captain of the Myraham's daughter several years back. When the toddlers showed up at Pyke, he took them in. After learning that they had no name, he decided on them. Eddard and Robb Pyke. His mental breakdowns were fewer and far between with his sons around.

Trystane returned to Dorne. Being a man grown, he married Myrcella Lannister. It was a happy marriage. Prince Doran later died, leaving Arianne to inherit Sunspear. She eventually died young and childless, leaving him to inherit Sunspear. Many, many years later, Tyrion resigned from his position as Hand, Trystane was offered the spot, which he accepted. The Vale remained the only realm untouched by any of the fighting. Sansa eventually married Harold-Hardyng and House Hardyng-Stark was created. They ruled the Vale together. Littlefinger reportedly continued to plot, but he was eventually found dead. Of a fever. Sansa didn't shed a tear and reportedly smirked at his death. Jon Connington eventually succumbed to his greyscale. Although he failed Aegon, he found solace in knowing that he was at least some help to Rhaegar's sister.

The sellswords and freedmen who helped forge Dany's queendom were not forgotten. Tyrion gifted Castamere to Brown Ben Plumm, with the intentions that the gold mines would help pay for the debt he owed the Second Sons. Harry Strickland, despite his initial opposition to Dany, was gifted the Dreadfort for his brave service against the white walkers. Although Daario Naharis was left with the Tattered Prince to assist him in Pentos, Daenerys gave him the lands and incomes of Duskendale following the extinction of House Rykker.

Her foreign friends were not forgotten either. Grey Worm was given the lands and incomes of Rosby, despite his inability to have children. He would eventually name Missandei his heir. Dany arranged transport back to Essos for her Dothraki. She would frequently make round trips from Westeros to Essos to check up on Slaver's Bay and mingle with her Dothraki admirers.

Daenerys eventually lands on Westeros. Cersei and Tommen flee to Casterly. After an ordeal, she and Aegon split, starting a Targaryen civil war. Cersei dies by unknown means, taking her out of the war. The civil war continues until it's interrupted by the white walker invasion. Dany and her dragons fight them off, but lots of people die. Jon Snow and Aegon among them.

Despite the competent and fair rule of Queen Daenerys the Good, after she dies at the age of sixty eight (under mysterious circumstances. She was still healthy and active as ever) with no heirs, one can only fear the outcome. Without an official monarch, the realm plots, even while the Queen's blood is still warm. In this RP (taking place in year 352 AL), you will assume command of a noble house. A great house that rules over it's own realm or a keep of humble landed knights. You must play the game of thrones, where you win...or you die.

Major Events prior to start of RP after The Second Long Night:
-Dispersal of Bastards: Daenerys has several bastard children who are dispersed to either nearby lords or across the narrow sea to Essos
-Hightower Rebellion: House Hightower attempts a Coup against House Tyrell and is extinguished except for a bastard born to Lord Hightower's wife. House Redwyne was stripped of its fleet
-Fortification of Casterly Rock: The most powerful citadel in the Seven Kingdoms is given an anti-dragon upgrade
-House Hardyng-Stark: House Hardyng-Stark rose when Harold Hardyng took Sansa Stark as his wife and chose not to adopt the old Arryn name
-Valenvareth of Darry: A Volantene noble founds a new house in Darry and has ties to the Golden Company
-Rebuilding of the North: The Manderly Fleet was built as the first grand northern fleet in several generations and the castle of Winterfell was rebuilt to be greater than it was previously.

The Queen died under suspicious circumstances on the same day that her grandson born to her first born bastard son arrived in Kings Landing. House Tyrell took control of the Red Keep in the day following the Queen's death. House Crassius, a second Bastard House born from Daenerys, declared themselves Legitimized as Targaryens, while House Bloodfyre, the first bastard house, declared their legitimacy as an independent house. Lord Garlan Tyrell declared himself King of Westeros following a successful coup removing the Targaryen guards from the Red Keep. Aegon Targaryen(called Crassius) declared himself King and convened on Dragonstone with his relatives to plan out a war to reclaim the Iron Throne.

Aegon tamed and mounted Drogon as his brother would tame Rhaegal. Viserion was mounted by Ixidor Bloodfyre who flew off to Braavos ahead of his own Steward to begin gathering an army to attack the Tyrells at home. The Lords of the Vale Declared their Lord Paramount, Ronnel Hardying-Stark, to be King of Mountain and Vale and set a crown upon his head, but Ronnel still declared support for Aegon. Before he could aid however, the Mountain clans renewed their war against the Andals and he was forced to fight them. The Riverlands were split. With the death of the Queen came another death, Lord Paramount Hoster Tully. His children, split on who should inherit the Riverlands and thus split on who should rule Westeros.

The Lannisters have not changed their tune. Upon learning of the Dragon Queen's death they began their moves to claim the throne for themselves. They paused however upon the summons of Lord Stark in the North to gather all branches of the Stark Family for a special meeting. With Stark Blood fresh in the Lannister line they began their travels to Winterfell directly through the war ravaged Riverlands. Edmyn Tully and Garlan Tyrell met to discuss the future of the Seven Kingdoms at Riverrun and began working on a new governance system, but still lacked the strength to make this a reality while they searched for a new place for a capital.

Ixidor Bloodfyre, who had assembled a sizable army in Essos, was preparing to make his move from Bloodstone in the Stepstones. A mutiny by Aerion Sunglass and the Bloodstone Pirates nearly takes the life of Elia Martell and Rhaenys Bloodfyre. Instead, it ends with the death of Aerion, the capture of most of the ships under the Bloodstone pirates and Rhaenys hatching a dragon, Caeliphon. Ixidor eventually leads his men to the Reach and engages in a trial of seven for the ownership of Oldtown. Upon his success, despite the loss of his friend and trusted Admiral, Maekar, along with four of his knights, Ixidor sends letters to the Lords of the Reach proclaiming himself Lord Paramount of the Reach by right of vengeance for the Tyrell plot to murder Queen Daenerys.

The battle of Marshold near Tumbleton resulted in a Valeman victory, however, Rhaegar Targaryen was slain in the battle by the young Lord Merryweather and his shield and banner were taken while they fled the battlefield. Further north the Army of the Reach arrived to reinforce Garlan only for him to learn that his whole army was not going to be there. Luck was on his side as his Shadowbinder did arrive. And after a successful ritual he was able to bind Rhaegal. However, unknown to him, his own sister Margery had plotted against him and bound the dragon to herself and used it to burn him alive. She commanded the Reach armies back to the ships so they could go and reclaim their lands from the Targaryen pretenders.

Key Points: Aegon won the Iron Throne with a duel between the Lord Commander of the the King's Guard, the Loyal Martell for Tyrell versus Drogon and Aegon's champion, afterwards, (Rickon's younger son was named as Lord Commander and recieved Oathkeeper

Ixidor Bloodfyre Captures Oldtown and the southern most part of the Reach

Riverlands divided and fighting itself

Stark Family reunion to call forth banners of all Stark Related houses to fight as a single force

Garlan Died by the betrayal of his sister who is claiming his spot in the line of succession and has bound the Dragon Rhaegal to her using a dragon horn and the shadowbinder's magic.

Rules are typical. No godmodding, metagaming, etc. However, any battles that take place are to be heavily planned and approved by either me or a Co-OP. Activity will be enforced, and if you do not post in a week, your house will fall under OP jurisdiction and it will be put up for grabs. TG if there are any special circumstances for inactivity. No playing anything beyond the Free Cities. Reservations last 48 hours. After that, it's up for grabs.

Head of House:Ixidor Bloodfyre, Age 21. Ixidor stands a little over six feet tall with silver platinum hair. He is young, but intelligent and wise beyond his years. He has a knack for military strategy, but prefers to write his poetry. Physically he is very fit, he has learned to fight in the style of old Valyrian Knights which are very similar to Westerosi knights in the armor and weapons they use. The only oddity which plagues the young Ixidor are his Dragon Dreams, the Valyrian equivilent of Green Dreams.

Relevant House Members:Rhaenys Bloodfyre, 14, Rhaenys is the younger Sister of Ixidor. She is considered very beautiful with her long flowing platinum hair and violet eyes, which have become a rarity in even Elyria. She is even tempered, though prefers to sit by the ocean and listen to the waves crash against the rocks as a way of relaxing.

Aelix Nogarys, Age 32, Loyal Knight to House Bloodfyre. He is strong and strong willed. He has the utmost confidence in his combat abilities and the utmost respect for the late Rhaegar Bloodfyre. Aelix vowed to serve Rhaegar's son Ixidor just as faithfully as he served for Rhaegar himself. A strong man, Aelix stands well over six feet with broad shoulders. He Keeps his head shaven and has blue eyes.

Vaekar Kirineon, Age 22, Close childhood friend of Ixidor, went on trip to Old Valyria with him. Vaekar is a down to earth type. Where Ixidor sees the possibility for a new idea, Vaekar sees the obstacles to such an idea. Vaekar is from a wealthy Elyrian Family. He has Blue-Silver hair and golden eyes. He stands just under 6 feet tall.

Events within the House in the 50 years between the OP history and the RP: The rape of Daenerys by Euron on so many different occasions was bound to end up with a child. As the child would not be of her house, Daenerys took the child to Elyria during her first visit to Slaver's Bay. It was kept quiet that she had a child to all but some of the highest officials of the time. Those men have since died. During successive trips to Slaver's Bay Dany would stop on Elyria to inquire about her son, whom was named Rhaegar. Rhaegar was a quick learner, and seemed to have taken after his mother more than his father. Daenerys was able to attend his wedding several years later when he wed the daughter of the family he was living with. The Union wouldn't result in a child until a few years later however.

This child was Ixidor. He did not have the violet eyes of his father or grandmother, but instead a more red color like his mother. Bloodfyre grew wealthy quickly by leading expeditions to old Valyria and returning with artifacts. Ever since the second long night the seas had calmed quite a bit, but were still dangerous none-the-less. It was by this that Rhaegar Bloodfyre died. A Kraken attacked the ship Rhaegar was on. Despite the best efforts of Rhaegar and the crew the ship was sunk, but the Kraken has not been seen since.

Queen Daenerys began visiting less and less frequently as Ixidor grew into adulthood. He left for his own trip to Valyria with his new wife, Nyessa. The fleet landed near the city proper. Ixidor and a party of men went further inland than any had ever dared to in recent history. There he found what seemed like a battlefield. Skeletons littered the streets with swords, spears, and armor lying all over the place. Ixidor and Vaekar entered a building only to have a dead body fall out of the front door. It had sword in his gut, an apparent suicide. On the wall, written in dried blood were the words. "We Do Not Sow"

The words were not unknown to the men, Greyjoy words from the Westerosi house that rules the raiding islands in the sunset sea. If it was an Iron fleet which had attacked here then it was likely picked over. But a battle this far inland was unthinkable for this land. While pushing through piles of rotting tomes and debris a glint of steel caught Ixidor's eye. He pulled the blade out. It was a Valyrian Steel sword, a streak of red ran down the center of the blade. Despite being finished, it seems the maker did not leave his mark, ashamed that it did not all turn the desired color. Upon testing it, the sword was still as sharp as it had been the very first day it was made. The hilt and pommel were well made, but undecorated. It was meant to be a weapon of war not a weapon of status. Sheathing his new blade, Ixidor began leaving the city with his men. They had gathered several iteams. Upon reaching the shore Ixidor was able to see a Kraken attacking his fleet. The beast was half blind, it could clearly be seen that a wound had long ago destroyed his eye.

Eager to join the fight Ixidor rushed to the boats, but Vaekar and Aelix stopped him. The flagship, with Nyessa aboard, was in the Kraken's grip. The struggle was visible from shore and it looked hopeless. A single person charged forward, a survivor claimed it to be Nyessa, and struck the Kraken with a long spear. The resulting pain caused the Kraken to crush the ship and kill Nyessa. In a shout of pain, Ixidor took a boat, alone to try and rescue his wife. The Kraken, which had died from the strike, which had penetrated to its brain, sank to the bottom dragging the wreckage and many survivors to a watery grave.

Upon learning Nyessa killed the Kraken and that the only survivor was a Westerosi sailor hired by Vaekar a few weeks ago, Ixidor decided. It was time to collect his family wealth and return to where his father said was their home. Westeros. He would take his family's 20 ships, their knights, and the men-at-arms. He would sell their merchant fleet and estate on Elyria and move their wealth to Westeros. With luck he'd be able to buy a title and lands for Bloodfyre upon his arrival there.

RP Example: Co-OP of chapter 1, OP of chapter 2

Notes: List of Sworn Houses will change depending on which houses are taken by players as letters were sent to all lords of the reach demanding their loyalty. I have a few houses in mind for which ones will fight for Bloodfyre and which will fight for Tyrell. Unless a player takes Tarly, they are squarely in the Tyrell camp.

Yup. I presume since the Council at Riverrun between the Tullys/Lannisters/Tyrells was never finished, it's retconed so as never to have happened and thus the Lancel's group would be around the Neck right now?

I can retcon it if you want. I put it into the background for this RP, but I can take it out. If Lancel is around the Neck he will meet a Stark host coming south to join the war, so that could be happening at the start of this chapter.

I meant the part where Tully/Tyrell declare Lancel king; the discussion on a new government system can still happen, but the (informal) declaration of Lancel as king I'd prefer to be ignored ICly without Logistica as the Tyrells.

The Major ones would be Baratheon, Greyjoy(or any Iron Island House as they are to select their new leader since there is a succession crisis and Asha Greyjoy is assumed dead.), and Tyrell.

Aside from that, you pick a house and they are likely open. There is a list in the OP regarding which houses are taken already. I do suggest reading the history and then the extra bit regarding chapter 1 as it will mention a few families which are extinct, namely Arryn and Hightower.

Alright, Tyrell is in the thick of a war right now, so they are one of the houses that we need pretty badly. There are a few different ways you could do this, but I'll let you post your app and we will work from there.

Hmmm. She seemed to have vanished into thin air. Is it okay if my characters act as though she's missing, but the fact remains that she's dead? Asha, as opposed to, say, Varys, doesn't seem like the kind of character that is willing to go missing. I think she would need some sort of gratification for what she was doing in the war, considering especially that she was ironborn.

Asha, as opposed to, say, Varys, doesn't seem like the kind of character that is willing to go missing. I think she would need some sort of gratification for what she was doing in the war, considering especially that she was ironborn.

Asha is presumed dead after some sailors from the royal fleet wrecked on the shores of the Riverlands saying that her ship went down in the northern Sunset sea. You can consider Greyjoy reserved.

House Name: Greyjoy, We Do Not Sow

House Sigil: A golden kraken on black.

House Head: Dagon Greyjoy, Lord Castellan of the Iron Islands, a man of three-and-thirty. Dagon is the grandson of Asha by her first son Rodrik, the heir-apparent of the Iron Islands. A broad-shouldered man of considerable height with a long shock of black hair and icy eyes, Dagon finds it easy to intimidate people, and through this ability his wife has been able to manipulate him into controlling the Greyjoy court. He has, in essence, strong-armed the court into obeying his rule while his grandmother is absent, and this displayed his political inability. What he lacks in political prowess, however, he makes up for in martial skill; an accomplished fighter with raw instincts, Dagon is most notably a proficient military commander that possess an almost instinctive intelligence on warfare.

Relevant House Members:

-Qarl Greyjoy, the Queer, a man of seven-and-ten, unwed. Though Qarl is by no means a martial person, his excessive intellect allows him to maneuver the Greyjoy court with relative impunity under the guidance of his mother. His towering intellect also makes him a masterful plotter, though there are few people willing to assist him in his plots on the Iron Islands. What he lacks for actual influence on the Iron Islands he makes up for in his ability to create the illusion of its existence. His ability to silence a room with the simple threat of his wroth on the Iron Islands is best exemplified by the fact no one speaks of his love of men . . . in his presence, at least.

-Margota Greyjoy, a maid of five-and-ten, unwed. Margota, though my no means a political mastermind, is notable for her strong-willed manner. With the help of her mother she as defied the wishes of her father to be married. She remains remarkably chaste as well, regardless of her notorious impiety. She seems an oddity in ironborn customs; chaste but impious, strong-willed but a woman. The Drowned God, in the opinion of the ironborn, was quite drunk when he sculpted Margota.

-Freya Greyjoy, a girl of three-and-ten, unwed. Little is remarkable about Freya; she lacks wholly in personal ambition and is consistently subservient to her father. Her one dream is that, in the afterlife, she will become a mermaid-concubine to the Drowned God. Though her sister and her mother find this position to be bother ridiculous and shameful for the family, her brother Qarl is more sympathetic to her desires.

-Esgred Harlaw, a woman of one-and-thirty, the wife of Dagon. Esgred Harlaw, lacking wholly in martial skill due to her womanhood, has made herself the single-most skilled schemer in the Iron Islands. Unrivaled in the Greyjoy court as she manipulates the ironborn through her husband Dagon, Esgred has been compared to Euron by some, called, "horrible and cruel, awful to behold in her wroth . . . yet unstoppable, the thunderous crash of waves against the feeblest ships." However, her reputation precedes her, and Esgred has found it impossible to make contacts on the Westerosi mainland.

-Maron Greyjoy, a man of one-and-forty, wed to Gwynesse Goodbrother. Hard but just, Maron Greyjoy is the fearsome captain of the Iron Fleet, a warrior without peer in the Iron Islands. Infamous in the Free Cities for his raiding, Maron has maintained the Old Way while his nephew Dagon has allowed its grip to falter. Though he does not possess Dagon's military prowess, he is known for his specialty in naval combat, for which he has rarely been defeated. This has led some to compare him to Victarion, much to the anger of his mother.

-Harwyn Greyjoy, the Thrice-Drowned, a man of two-and-twenty, wed to Naryna. Harwyn is Maron's only son, the cousin of Dagon and grandson of Asha. He has raided beside his father for most of his lifetime, making him a skilled fighter and naval commander. In one of his raids, he captured a Lysene woman called Naryna. Though he originally took her as a salt wife, he would later make her his rock wife. His reputation amongst the ironborn is such that he did this with little social consequence; indeed, he is perhaps the most famous man on the Iron Islands save his father and his lord, for he was the major contributor in ending the Drowned Rebellion. As a part of the peace, it was required that three Greyjoys be drowned in the Drowned God's name. In reply, Harwyn allowed himself to be drowned thrice in succession, and was thus named the Thrice-Drowned.

House Military:
-12,500 reavers, men hard and experienced from their time aboard the Iron Fleet.
-5,000 archers, of little respect but experienced nonetheless.
-2,500 levied men, greenboys, old men, and thralls, without in training or experience.
-the Iron Fleet, 300 longships and 100 war galleys.

House History: Asha Greyjoy was made Lady Paramount of the Iron Islands by Stannis Baratheon. It was a swift ceremony that defied the institution of kingsmoot, and it was for this that Asha Greyjoy found herself under pressure to marry. She married Triston Farwynd's second son Knut, and for a time assured her dominance over the Iron Island.

In this time of peace, Asha began to repair the damages the Iron Fleet had faced during Daenerys's conquest. For two years, she ruled with the content of her vassals and the support of House Harlaw. Then, as she reached the end of her first pregnancy, Knut Farwynd died mysteriously. Though Asha gave birth to a healthy son, Rodrik, she was once again beset by her lords to marry.

She refused. Lord Triston, rash and certain of his abilities, rose in rebellion against Asha. Asha was, at first, surprised by Lord Triston's swift betrayal. Not half-a-year prior he had been amongst her staunchest allies. However, Asha quickly recovered and set about crushing Lord Triston's rebellion. With the vast support of House Harlaw, Asha put them to heel and demanded Lord Triston's abdication to his brother, a sickly man of dim wits. Lord Triston consented, and Asha's reign was cemented.

For eight years, Asha remained unmarried. Her reign was secure, and she had no intention of sharing it with any of her lords or their sons. That changed, however, when the lords Goodbrother and Drumm grew defiant. The sickly Rodrik the Reader was quick to defend Asha, but the rebellious Lord Stonetree preoccupied the Rodrik the Reader, defending the lords Goodbrother and Drumm, forcing Asha to confront them herself.

Though Asha was able to defy the rebel lords for some time, they were eventually able to out-maneuver her by taking control of the Iron Fleet. Isolated on Pyke with little hope of aid from Rodrik Harlaw, Asha made talks with the her rebellious lords. She agreed to marry Lord Drumm's brother, a man fifteen years her senior, and promised that the firstborn child of that union would marry into House Goodbrother.

With these marriages assured, the men of Goodbrother and Drumm betrayed the men of Stonetree, leading to a loss of much of their lands to House Harlaw. Asha was soon pregnant with her second and last child, Maron, and he was easily delivered some time later. For another twenty years, Asha's reign would go uncontested. Due to the age that separated them, her Drumm husband died in that period, but Maron was quickly married into House Goodbrother and warfare was averted.

Then, thirty years into her reign, Asha was stricken with betrayal. The son of Tristifer Botley, Sigfry Botley, rose in rebellion to aid Rodrik Greyjoy in his seizing Asha's throne. Rodrik was eight-and-twenty at the time, married to Sigfry's sister, and had given House Greyjoy a half-Botley child, Dagon. Eddard Pyke helped launch a coup in Pyke, seizing it from Asha, and the Lord of Lordsport advanced to secure the island.

The rebellion was short-lived, however, for Asha returned with the might of Harlaw and Goodbrother. She quickly regained control of the castle and executed the traitorous lord Botley. Eddard Pyke fled with Rodrik Greyjoy, hoping to find shelter in Lordsport, but they were betrayed. Asha had them both executed, her brother Theon going completely mad thereafter. It is rumored that, on the night Theon jumped to his death, Asha confronted him and shouted, "I lost a son too, Theon!" Whether that is truth or legend is unknown, but Asha's grief was not forgotten.

As Asha grew older, the followers of the Drowned God called for her abdicate in favor of her grandson. They acknowledged she had done well, for a woman, but demanded the surrender of her throne to her eligible, male heir. Asha refused, and the Drowned Rebellion began. It became a long-lasting war, in which Asha was forced to maintain small military forces across most of the Iron Islands. So determined was the resistance that Queen Daenerys offered to send men to help her, writing that "for the necessity of the peace of the realm, the Crown offers assistance and demands the defeat of these rebels."

Asha refused, blatantly. She turned to those within her own House for assistance, and found it with her grandson Harwyn. He was seven-and-ten, eager to please, hungry for glory, and Asha tasked him, along with his father, for crushing the rebels into submission by any means necessary.

Harwyn was remarkably good in this regard. He laid siege to Old Wyk, scourging the land, raping women and taking thralls of his own people. The lords of Drumm and Stonehouse protested, claiming this was hallowed ground for the ironborn, and Harwyn replied that was his idea.

Much to the anger of their leader, the Drowned Rebels began flocking to Old Wyk to defend it. Harwyn massacred them as they came, for the first time drawing them into open battle. The only noble casualty of this cause was the bastard Robb Pyke. When they were sufficiently defeated, the Drowned Prophet, Harrag the Drowner, went to make peace terms with Asha. His only demand was that three members of House Greyjoy be drowned in favor of the Drowned God.

Harwyn accepted the position of all three. The Drowner protested, insisting it would kill him and therefore invalidate his drownings, but Asha allowed it. Harwyn was drowned thrice by the Drowned Prophet, and survived; for this, men began calling him Harwyn the Thrice-Drowned . . . and began wondering if he would be the most fit of the Greyjoys to rule.

Asha was offered shortly after to be Master of Ships for Queen Daenerys. She accepted, leaving her grandson in her stead. After Garlan's coup, Asha disappeared, though whispers have begun to circulate the Iron Islands that the Kraken's Daughter is dead. What they do not know is that Asha Greyjoy's tale has truly ended, and a new Greyjoy must take the reins of power.

Only issue is with the history, Euron ruled the Iron Isles while Daenerys was conquering Westeros, to be exact he captured her during part of the war, but died after that. Only then would Asha have taken over the Iron Isles. Aside from that, you are Accepted

"In the invasion, Stannis placed Asha on the seastone chair, stating that Theon wouldn't be very suitable due to his mental state."--This is where I begin with the history, as the history prior to it is lain down pretty clearly in the backstory.

But regardless, glad to be here. :)
