Rosenyan ships were the first on to the new islands, carrying both colonists, mining companies, and military units to turn their selected slice of land in to both a thriving land for the Rosenyan people, a new source of iron and other ores, and a military and naval outpost for the growing and expanding nation that was funding all of it. The first order of busyness was to move everything from the landing site in the north to the new colony, which went smoothly due to the tame climate, if a little humid at times. Second order of busyness was for the first and third home guard regiments and their accompanying aintiair-artillery regiments to settle in around the colony and start digging in. Call the people of Rosenya paranoid, but having boots and guns on the ground meant they were just preparing for the eventual war that would break out when someone tried to take the iron they sat on, since there were vary few deposits on the island in general

"Praeses Kaius Antipater, Sir," said Four-Star General Jimmy Clinton," Our 10 Type 12I frigates are ready to embark on the new islands along with 5 merchant ships. We plan to get to the islands in said 5 hours and once on the islands, and with your permission, we will bring along 2,500 troops, each armed with M14 rifles, 4 M84 stun grenades, and a medical kit. Each merchant ship will hold 10 scientists, 5 men, and 5 females. We will first learn and study the area more than encourage more people to come this the colony."

"Very well then. I suppose that this expendition will allow our nation to grow in influence and power. Not to mention, in wealth too! Embark onto your journey, and report as soon as you get there."

Talon Demers, minister of colonial affairs of Alahana landed in the just finished airport of Avlelens, the new found capital of the Toness colony.
He was recieved by 'Gavys Miesar', the new colonial governor of the colony.

"Greetings governor, it's a pleasure to see the colony is faring well" Talon said

"Thank you minister. It is a truly beautiful place and I thank you for my promotion to governor." Gavys said

"You were best qualified for the job. And how about the other nations? What do we know about them?" Talon said

"Not much I'm afraid. Only that some older allies from with whom we have official relations established are also present on the continent. We will be able to start diplomacy when all of our colonies have been fully finished." Gavyn said

"Very well, the new volunteers to work in the colony and some military troops are now on their way to the colony. They should arrive later this day." Talon said

"Anything else I should make sure of?" Gavyn asked

"Yes, the right to the north of this settlement is a large copper deposit. Make sure we can use that, we might need it." Talon said before continuing to the colonial government building.

Right after General Clinton arrived to the colony of New Randius and after he sent a message to the Praeses regarding on the team's arrival, the General sought out to make messages to all the nations that have current claims in the lands as of right now.

The Riverian Allies' transports had arrived with it's most valuable cargo: human beings. Colony Governor Justin Hill had been preparing for what seemed like forever on this site. The court had just been finished in time for the new arrivals. It wasn't the difficulty of building homes, retailers, resource refineries, and mines that tired him. It was the painstaking details that Alexander E. Boyei desired that did. Each building had to be built in a Roman fashion, to show the power of the nation. They were completed, enough resources were available for 5,000. Rome wasn't built in a day, eh? But for now, Justin was no longer required to micromanage, he was finally able to lead. Just like what he dreamt of, a metropolis of wealth and knowledge, that was his perfect home. The piers wobbled at the waves and the hundreds of people squeezing and pushing to the shore. That was a problem. The docks. Perhaps, Justin thought.... *Justin goes about leading the colony*

Najmulbahr joins the Great Republic
FREE CITY OF NARANAK, NAJMULBAHR - The Quirinese Islamic minority, after years of progress, hardship and tribulation, has celebrated their new home since last year's admission to the GQR. The distant land of Toness had gave them the lasting opportunity to show and help the Great Republic that there are open gifts Allah can give.

The "Special Administrative Region of Najmulbahr" was founded on November 10, 2013 (Muharram 17 1435 A.H. Hijri calandar) in an initiative to seek a new homeland by Quiris moderates and Third Way statesmen to avoid further cases of discrimination and suspicion against the minority. Blames of terrorism to the peaceful community were evident, which lots of lawsuits filed by racist Quirinese to Muslims, which are subsequently proven innocent. The diverse minority had been in silence from the public, which is dominated by Catholics, Messianics, Christians, and other denominations of the Christendom, where only Orthodox clergymen and laymen were the only defenders of their Abrahamic brothers.

After the framework had been laid, thanks to the efforts of the Afthonians, the only Quirinese to give refuge to Muslim migrants, the minority elders called for an election and voted their first officials, but most Muslims want direct democracy. To consolidate with such concern, the majority of the Muslims created a referendum to convene all Muslims from all parts of Quirina last year, which resulted to a convention of 80 million Muslims from all parts of the world within Quirina's boundaries. The "First Constitutional Convention of Quirina's Islamic Community", had functioned as a direct democratic body and for the first time, it voted to undergo proper Quirinese federalization process, but chose to be protected by the Quirinese military.

The Elected Officials' first proposal is assimilation to independence, which is being lobbied by anti-Muslims in the Great Senate, pushed forward by the Afthonians and Muslim senators in the GS. The Assimilation is still in the works, and in constant debate in many chambers and councils.

Insurgent threats had gained influence following the slow process of independence, which rooted the existence of Muslim militant groups:
the "Islamic State of Najmulbahr (ISN)" wants to have Najmulbahr join the so-called "Islamic Confederation" they dream to build, and eventually wanted all of Quirina to be Muslims

the "Islamic Republican Front (IRF)" wants to have Najmulbahr adopt an Islamic republican sytem with strict pro-fascist attitude
the "Najmulbahri Ba-athist Partisan Front (NBPF)" aims to unite Najmulbahr with the Arabic countries around the world and create a prosperous circle of economic and political oneness
the "Jemaah Islamiyah-Najmulbahr (JI-N)" which aims to have Najmulbahr and Sondrian Quirina to adopt Islam as official state ideology and religion, also allied with ISN.

Meanwhile, the AFGQR will be ready to answer any threat and will use their "ways and means" to destroy all threats within the GQR's borders. Also, the Najmulbahri government will be always ready to cooperate with any parties to make sure there will be no violence to ensue in the area. So far, only fistfights and street riots between unarmed civilians are occurring in the localities of Najmulbahr at the moment, since metropolitan areas are still on the rise and rural villages are everywhere.

As the country hugs the richest oil deposit in the continent, it is possible that it will be the key to Najmulbahr's suddent expansion, in both geopolitical, economical, and territorial aspects, as the humid continental climate care to facilitate much of the Arabs everywhere since. The economic council of Najmulbahr are currently in debate whether or not the oil deposit should be handed to larger oil firms of Quirina or have it leased to foreign powers with the highest price possible.

The first one to land in the area surveyed by the Office of Cartographic Designations of the Ministry of Economic Affairs is the engineering team made up of Muslim citizens that meet with the architects to first organize and build the city, which will be first a rural village, or a unison of them. The villages since last year were scattered and those that have significant buildings (the city hall is merely a hut where councils meet and do their governmental work) were mostly at the center. The humid climate is pretty much likely strange to them and it is possible that they were cultured to live there.

The regional government cannot police them in the first place, thinking that small arms cannot be reached, and althought backed by the legitimate government, some of the groups act like the regional government don't exist and create their own. The Shurta al-Muwataniyah Najmulbahri (Shumuna) (Najmulbahri National Constabulary) was created for this problem. The Shumuna acts as both the army, and the police of the SARN to beat down illegal activities and pin down crimes to a lesser extent. The number of militants are currently 50,000 men, but the Shumuna is numbering 5,700 volunteers with basic training and meant to be "desert rats", though the country is purely humid.

The independence status of SARN is pretty fragile. If it is immediately granted, the security risk of the region will raise high, seeing the the regional government will be all responsible for everything, totally a self-determined act to pursue and maintain independence. One thing that is understood between the locals and the officials is their liberty to have a haven, not a new nation, even though Najmulbahr is considered a nation in the eyes of the Quirinese community. Following the federalization policies and regulations of the Quirinese republic, the SAR made sure that they will have the right process intact that followed, instead of creating the major flaw, which is "creating independence proclamations in an instant", which is a similar case in Virgicum, where its starting economy is devastated, thanks to poor management and war-drive effort, which bears more cost.

The Western Najmulbahri Sea, where the largest sea oil deposit sits, has became a major interest not only of the SAR itself, but also of the entire major nations of Quirina, especially the monarcho-imperialist Panatia, which seeks more power within the Republic. The SAR however is still in debate to whom shall the rich petroleum shall be beneifiting, but according to a local survey, 80% of Najmulbahris believe that the oil will be useful for the SAR, and higher price shall be placed to foreign clients. As of today, mariners and engineers plot the Sea of future sites of 5 sea drilling stations, but the engineers also cleared that there will be 8 could be the maximum number of stations that the deposit can bear.

it is to be remembered that the TAMA (Treaty of Adherent and Mutual Agreement) signatories are the major powers in the continent, and such high diplomatic regard is given. With this, envoys were sent to the Riverian, Chinese (Sheng), and Alahanese consulates in an earnest aim to create an economic and diplomatic circle with the colonies occupied by the said diplomatic allies of Quirina through Najmulbahr. As of the moment, helicopters carrying the 3-man envoy flying to the certain colonies are on their way to the allied colonial grounds. However, some of Quirina's diplomatic friends are also part of the International Freedom Coalition, a supranational alliance for 'freedom', which Quirina recently mandated as an unrecognized entity, but it cleared that individual member-nations are not unrecognized and thus open for talks with the Great Republic. With the envoys being sent to their allies' consulates, this issue can be easily cleared.

"The location though, it's so remote, barren? How will we possibly profit from constructing the entire relevant infrastructure ourselves? Wouldn't it better serve us to invest in a foreign colony and reap the benefits of their work?"

"This is an investment in the future! It's one of the largest oil prospects on the continents, and its so far untapped. We need to seize this, fully, and without relying on foreign companies and governments to get the leg work done for us. The King has promised substantial investment in the colony, so we're very liquid right now. With the expenses related to deploying the relevant machinery and technical personnel, plus the cost of contracting security, we're still in the black for our first-year projections. Don't worry my friend!"

The first speaker's name was Enheduanna, she was the minister of Foreign Relations. The second speaker, a man, was called Shu-Enlil, he was the minster of Commerce. Together they were two of the six most senior ministers who advised their king. Anna, as she was called for short, was the daughter of the king and was understandably favored by him in their counsels. Her instincts were always sharp, part of the reason she attained this senior position, and as she usually did, she had a decidedly firm stance on her newest escapade. "Enlil, I've already bought the services of two roll-on-roll-off cargo ships and contracted six hundred workers to begin construction on our first settlement in this virgin country. Two dredging barges and two naval frigates will be accompanying these work crews to assist in the founding of what I have called Neo-Akkad, a tribute to our own fair capital."

Enlil gave a sigh. Anna was easily the most driven and passionate of his king's ministers, and with her royal blood she was usually able to get her way. "Absolutely, whatever you need from my office is yours. Import-export treaties will be arranged once you begin to produce. Obviously, we'll find a way to knock down some of those tariffs and get you a favorable tax status for the new undertaking. Is there anything else you need?"

Anna shrugged, "No, Though I'll certainly be in touch. I've already spoken with some Cimmerian Oil Corporation executives, they're thinking about leasing me some portable sea-drilling rigs. Maybe you could make it worth their while? Tax breaks for contributing to the development of the nation and whatnot?" Enlil smiled, "Of course, anything you need."

In the Royal Palace of Akkad the conversation shifted then to domestic topics, and then personal ones. The matter of Neo-Akkad was for now, settled. It would be up to the colonists themselves to make what they may of this new land, though their government would be watching closely. The frigates CRN Heavenly Sword and CRN Ranger would represent their King alongside the four civilian vessels making the journey to the new land. A new age of prosperity beckoned.

The Papaian Fleet is resting in the newly contructed harbor, Governor Brusk looks out over the islands, seeing that the settlers are busy building farms and houses. The New Maldives he will call these Islands, despite the good weather and nice people, the gold on the islands is the real reason they came to the islands. The natives get schools, hospitals, churches and mosques, and the papaians get gold.
Governor Brusk is merely beginning, he is allready preparing for moves south, knowing that it can earn him the prestige he allways wanted.

As the team continues their construction on Randius, General Jimmy Clinton plans to expand the colony of New Randius. As he leads a team of 300 troops out of the town, he views a few number of men fishing, reeling in a huge number of fish. The General heads towards the men and asked "What type of fish have you found men?"

"Well sir, we have found anchovies, catfish, clams, crab, crawfish, flounder, haddock, herring, and mackerel." said one of the men.

The General looked out to the sea and smiled. He said the fleet of 5,000 people on board that came towards to Randius. Even though he wanted to meet the people that will be contributing to the new town, he wanted to begin his expanison plans.

Without developed harbors or docks to maneuver their large ships, the Neo-Akkad colonists' first struggle was getting to shore on their new colony. The Neo-Akkad Company had been established by the king's daughter Anna and was the sovereign master of this territory. Here, they would build the first Cimmerian city outside the ancient homeland. To facilitate this, first, the dredging barges had to clear a channel for the massive cargo ships to offload their cargo. Fortunately these were military-grade ships prepared to make unprepared landings. In the style of old amphibious landing ships, these massive vessels beached their front ends before opening their bow-doors and allowing the construction vehicles and hundreds of workers to pour out into the untamed countryside. The first order of business was the completion of housing and storage facilities for the massive amount of supplies sent along with them on this first voyage. The dredging barges set to work digging a harbor that could be completed from the land-side once the initial habitation facilities were established.

The governor of this new territory was to be Shar-Kali. He was the nephew of Anna and the grandson of the current king. A former military man, Shar-Kali was in love with efficiency and demanded much from his laborers. He insisted that in the first month there would be complete living quarters, business space and adequate harbor facilities to begin to house the industrial tugs and small tankers that would allow for the start of oil extraction from the massive offshore deposits that initially interested the Empire in this territory. Shar-Kali was observing the initial landings and the begginings of work from aboard the frigate CRN Ranger, currently anchored off shore of the initial harbor spot. Her sister ship, the CRN Heavenly Sword, had already been dispatched to cruise the territory of the oil fields, to ensure that the Cimmerians got prime position once the oil extraction infrastructure was brought in.

As hundreds of workers began their months-long toil shoreside Governor Shar-Kali was enjoying a cigarette and glass of whisky aboard the deck of the frigate Ranger. Her captain, Ibbi-Mundu, stood alongside the new governor. Their discussions turned to the security situation of the new colony. "I fear your two ships, captain, will not suffice to deter our rivals from exploiting the oil fields." Shar-Kali began. The captain replied, "No, governor, I expect you are correct. I spoke with Admiral Takal before we departed, his thoughts were aligned with yours. The second and fifth carrier fleets are both available for deployment here, though I think he is waiting for the completion of a harbor capable of handling the larger ships."

"That's understandable." Shar-Kali took a brief drag on his cigarette, "I just don't know that our companions here will wait as long. The The Grand Duchy of Cheffins Mancunia, for example, have claimed a territory directly opposite our own on this mighty bay. I fear they hope for the same oil that we seek to exploit. Though they are a small polity, no rival for the Empire, their presence will be undoubtedly complicating."

The captain nodded sagely, "The Heavenly Sword will keep us abreast of any comings and goings in the bay, and especially around the oil fields. For now, we have the upper hand as it appears we are yet alone here."

"Indeed, let us not waste this time we have. The work here must progress at a brisk pace. We cannot afford to sacrifice this advantage. There is another foreign power active in the area, the Socialist States of Apeocia. They've already begun to militarize their holdings and although they don't appear hostile we can absolutely not afford to make any underestimations at this time. We are still too vulnerable here."

Again, the captain nodded at the governor's statement. "Of course. The Heavenly Sword will be aware of our neighbors and, without provoking hostility, will remain insistent regarding the oil fields she has been sent to defend. I have absolute faith in that captain and his crew. For now, governor, I can assure you, we are ready to defend you."

Shar-Kali swallowed the last of his whisky and pulled on his cigarette pensively. "I certainly hope so, captain. I hope so."

Royal Palace, Jin Lu Colony

Confederate Flags and Imperial Insignia's danced in the wind as the plaza was coming to life with noise and music. The Sheng Chinese Imperial Engineering Corps was the first to arrive to the islands to build the basic infrastructures of the city. Water, electricity, sewage, roads, homes, the palace, and most importantly, the port harbor had been built.

Immense Cargo ships, escorted by Imperial Battleships were the first to enter the new world to establish Sheng Chinese claims to the territory. Their long running allies of Alahana was gracious enough to tell them of the venture and the Imperial Court quickly approved of it.

Shortly after teh city's most basic needs were put together was when the Imperial Airships came through the world port. The ships brought with them 20,000 settlers along with supplies for every possible need in abundance. The Imperial Airships docked in the air-docks the engineers had built just previously. The people exited and happily looked upon their new homes. The Imperial Government had given them monetary incentives to go and settle this new land for the glory of the Empire. The people came from all walks of life and nearly every edge of the Empire itself. They were all very pleased and went straight to work in building their new lives.

With the settles working along side the Imperial Engineers, they built new homes to accommodate them so as to not be cramped in the temporary communal housing that had been built. Businesses both small and large began to pop up in the new colony. Mom and pop convienence stores to well known Chinese fastfood chains were now in the city.

The people especially adored their harbor though. The city had been started at the end of a channel on the continent. The glistening clean water. The lush green forests. It was pristine and beautiful. Though they knew their city would come to eventually encompass the channel they still saw it as a major point of interest. Many were determined to see the city become a huge tourist destination. Something though that they would have to discuss with their newly elected councilmen to the Colonial Council of Regents.

Today though was the day for the people of the colony to celebrate. Not only was a new fresh group of people coming from the homeland, but their new ruler was as well coming to the colony to take up permanent residence. Their colony was established as a Crown Colony to be ruled directly by the Imperial House. The Prince/Princess would be given vast amounts of power with which to rule over them. Though they were assured that the Council was established in order to keep the Imperial overlord in check.

Princess Viceroy Zhi Lu with thunderous applause from the people as she entered the city for the first time. The Princess was a powerful political figure of the Empire, once having governed nearly half of the Imperial Homeland during a great political purge orchestrated by the Imperial Court by order of the Grand Empress. Knowing that she would be at the helm of the colony made the people immensely pleased and hopeful for the future of the colony.

With her as well arrived an additional 15,000 settlers, most of whom are family to the 18,000 Imperial Soldiers of the 155th Imperial Division that was brought to the new land with the Princess.

BMS Chained Maiden
5 Miles off the coast of Ligonia

Aboard the BMS Chained Maiden, the flagship of the 32nd Expeditionary Unit, the CIC was abuzz with chatter and busy sailors completing their tasks. Knight-Admiral Victor Newman was the commander of the naval forces on Toness, Knight-Commandant Clark Worthington was the ground forces commander. A new Knight-Regent was appointed to lead this new colony and serve as de facto commander of the expedition, this man was named Lewis Porter.

In total the 32nd EU had been sent with a small fleet of ships, one aircraft carrier, two amphibious assault ships, one destroyer, and three cruisers. The ground force had been sent with 2,500 soldiers, mainly Infantryman, supported with numerous support groups. The goal was to land on a portion of the newly christened Ligonia and set up a large FOB to support the colonization of this new world. Lewis stepped into the CIC and the command of attention rang out from the sergeant-at-arms of the room. Instantly the room was silent as the crew snapped to the position of attention.

"At ease" commanded the Knight-Regent.

He moved to the broadcasting station of the room and took the microphone, this would let his voice be heard from every deck on every ship in the fleet. "Today we finish our first leg of the expedition. You brave Birtonians are the first of our kind to be on this new world. We are here to project Birtonian might upon this strange land, fear not however, this world will soon bend to the our might. More will come, but for now prepare for landing!" he said with an authoritative voice.

Soon, the well doors on the Amphibious Assault Ships opened and hundreds of AFV Shildkrotes swam steadily to the shore of Ligonia. From the BMS Chained Maiden, dozens of UH-72 Redhawk helicopters took flight and would land before the AFV's.

Gavys sat in his desk finishing some permits that allow companies to establish a new foothold in the colony. He heard a ship horn in the distance and only a few second later one of the officers stepped in.
The officer was the highest ranking officer in the colony, a colonel named 'Fuatur Taskining'. He was head of the mere 2,500 military troops guarding the colony.

"Greetings Fuatur, what news do you bring today?" Gavyn asked the colonel

"Good news and bad news. The new wave of settlers have arrived and are now unloading in the harbor. There were 22,000 new settlers and many tons of goods to speed up our process to build the colony." colonel Fuatur said

"I assume that is the good news? What is the bad news?" Gavyn asked

"There are 16 other nations settled in the world at this moment, and many of them have brought an extensive military with them. We with our 2,500 soldiers, 5 warships and 12 aerial vehicles will never stand a chance should a conflict break out like we had in Azuran and Grecia. We should increase our military to be able to fight when it would be necessary." Fuatur explained to the governor

"The Grand Admiral has promised to send the Alahanese war fleet in time of need. If they arrive any conflict will be over soon enough." Gavyn said to the colonel

"But how long will it take for them to get here? I am sure that even a small military power can take our colony in the time it takes for our navy to arrive. We should have a larger military presence here on the continent, else we can as well give up on this colony." Fuatur said

"I agree, but we cannot afford to be seen as a threat of any kind. We are here on this continent to improve our economy and to live in peace. We are not seeking war, and I hope that other will see that and respect that. But maybe we should increase our military size, because not all nations will be as understanding as other nations. How about we ask the High council for a slight increase of the military and construction materials of defensive structures? Would that ease your mind colonel?" Gavyn said to Fuatur who was showing little signs of being worried.

"If you think that would be best I will accept that sir." Fuatur replied

"Ahum. Before you depart colonel, I wish to start a new expedition. A few researchers have arrived today with the new settler fleet, you should take them with you and explore the region up to the lake. Also make sure you explore the lands on the other side of the river to." Gavyn said

"Yes sir!" The colonel said before departing.

The colony is blooming, the natives recieve lessons in Farsi as most of the colonists spreak farsi. Hospitals are starting to run and the mines start functioning.
But in the governors office. While the colonisation of the island to the south of the current colony is being planned they woll seemingly remain underdeveloped, governor Brusk is in negotiations with President Bosri, who wants to see more money come in and less money being poured in. All across the Imperial Continent back home the news was going mad reporting everything the government was willing to tell them about the new world, everyone that could was petitioning the ministry they worked for to let them go through with most being told to wait for now. The colony itself, they were told, was thriving and would soon be ready for a second wave, in reality however it would be a while before the colony was ready for more people thanks largely to the hostile wildlife near the colony and the scientific expeditions. The expeditions always set off with a good amount of the colonies security forces making the same number of civilians take up their militia duties rather than build up the colony.

The multi-tiered chamber was done in typical Creatarisian fashion, that of ruthless practicality, the governor stood in the centre of the room with a small podium before him, surrounding him were numerous technicians at stations controlling every action of the colony with many more rushing around performing various tasks. "Sir the latest expedition has returned, they are reporting rich Titanium deposits to the north" came the voice of one of a technician at one of the control stations "the last expected freighter has also arrived sir".

"Good, good, tell the scientists that any further expeditions are on hold for the moment until the colony is complete, tell the militia that they can return to their regular duties and unload that cargo ship" replied the governor electronically signing off on several documents using the podiums touch screen. The governor had to admit that he slightly regretted taking this job as it dealt with the bane of every important person, bar the emperor who has people for that, paperwork.

The Duke of the Den walks out of his cabin into the upper deck corridor of the naval flagship DGS Crewe. After climbing the stairs to the top deck, he consults with the new Governor of th colony they are about to land at.

"Have all supplies, machinery and troops arrived safely, Alex?"
"Indeed Sir, apart from the last of the fishing boats." The young politician replies.
"Excellent, see to it that those boats get here though. Oil operations will not be fully complete for another few days and we need something to ship back to the mainland it the High Cabinet will not fund my venture."

A huge transatlantic ship and 3 commercial jets arrived at Newfoundlandia, Ryccia's new colony. The colony's capital city was Newfoundlandia, like the colony. Several Ryccian Navy Ships and one aircraft carrier, RACS Feather of Souls arrived soon after. 100 fighter jets also arrived as well in Fort Feather of Souls, a fort next to Newfoundlandia. The 35,000 colonists, including farmers, miners, factory workers and other professionals arrived at the town. They started building houses and started to cover the streets with stone, cement and other materials needed to make a concrete street. It was a new life. A new start. A new hope.

The cool early winter air hit Mansour al Hakim, overseas advisory to the government of KwaDai stepped out of the newly built and still in construction airport building in KwaDai's new colony, the Š'abbiyat of Al Zahra. The massive continent it is found on has only recently been colonised and is still vastly unexplored and unknown and provides massive opportunity for those lucky enough to be drafted there by KwaDaian companies seeking to expand and by willing KwaDaian immigrants.
Jamal was waiting the arrival of the Sheikh of KwaDai, Ahmed bin Jur al Amman who had travelled this morning from Tripoli to this forest covered territory.

The private jet of the Sheikh touched down in Saraya(the colonies capital) at 14:20 Al Zahra time, Ahmed was to be met by Mansour al Hakim advisory and to be leader of the colony. The Sheikh strolled of the plane on to new territory, he was hit by the cold Zahran air something he was not used to.

"Your Highness", Mansour said loudly in Arabic walking over to Ahmed after he and the Royal Guard had dispersed from the plane. "Welcome to Al Zahra!, he greeted the Sheikh kissing him on the cheek and hugging him, the normal KwaDaian greeting. "Mansour...thank you for the welcome, but I'm afraid we need to step inside as I believe we have some things to discuss, and from what you have told me, it gets dark here early", the Sheikh replied following the Zahran Royal Guard out of the airport to where a shiny black Rolls Royce was waiting.
After the Sheikh Mansour and two Royal Guard men stepped inside the car, it drove out of the under construction city of Saraya into the forrested countryside to where unfinsihed The Palace of Surman stood, it was a magnificent building worthy of its purpose.

After the group had settled into the conference room of the Palace, Sheikh Ahmed and Mansour al Hakim began their discussions which included why the territory was colonised mainly because of the abundance of wood, something needed and sought after in the desert country of KwaDai and also how they colony was soon to be expanded north further inland.

OOC: I hope that's ok, let me know if I've made any odd error and perhaps any expansion of territory on the map just a little inland.

Nordic ships arrived in Toness with a large interest in colonizing this new world. The colony of Ny Nordic would be home to a starting population of 30000 civilians who were mostly people who performed fracking, farmers, construction workers and scientists. One thousand military personnel would be living on the new colony to defend a population. Those soldiers knew they were doing their duty, but they hoped no war would break out in Ny Nordic. They hoped their expansion would be peaceful and so issued a suggestion to the new president of the Ny Nordic lands to write a letter to make peace in this new world.

While the president wrote his letter to try to establish and encourage peace throughout Toness, he also foresaw the rapid development of the colony. The construction workers seemed to work tirelessly, and even after a hard day of work, they would go home and have a great time. The researchers, the fracking people, and the farmers seemed to work the same. He wondered why this wasn't the case in his old land of Nordisk.

While he shook off his pondering, he finally signed the letter and addressed it to the 18 other colonies, even those so far from him he could not remain in contact with them.

Over the next few days, while waiting for responses, he saw a slight stagnation in the colonies. From time to time, people would stop working. It seemed to feel like they were threatened by the government, for whenever police forces walked around patrolling the streets, they would always start pretending to work.

The president then created national holidays to relieve this pressure. Although he was, in the past, a leader who never liked people to stop working he was getting old. Ever since he was elected back at home to rule Ny Nordic, he felt a duty to keep the colony together. He was right. He used to be a middle-aged military commander. Now he was a more humble, yet more senior, president.

No responses came. He did not feel frustrated as he would in the past, but merely sat in his palace and took a sip of hot chocolate to relieve his troubles as wine would. In his friendly chair, he read the hastily written letter that had been composed in between regular visits to gain trust.

To Whom it May Concern,

The colony of Ny Nordic has been settled by the Constitutional Monarchy of Nordisk on these lands. We aim not to threaten or oppose anyone, but to rather remain peaceful and establish peace throughout these new lands. I understand that when you are a leader, you are greedy. You might tend to take land from others feeling as it is part of your job. It is not.

I have felt this greed as a former military commander in Nordisk. However, it is time to remember our days. Back when we were civilians. We felt as if each declaration of war was a threat. A problem. Each conflict marked a period of distrust in our government. We did not want war. And so we must think. We are leaders of our colonies. We do not want to be distrusted. We must hold our place together and stay together. For are we not the same people?

I appreciate the time you took to read this short message. As you read this message, if we did not have world peace, we would have forces clashing right outside our doorstep. There would be pain. Although you may not feel it, it is still there.

I understand that Ny Nordic cannot hold all of Toness together. Still, I hope that you will try to establish good relations with your other fellow colonies.
