You will play as a faction, choosing one of the realms of the land called Covinia. The continent was once part of a great empire, however as time passed, the main body of the empire began to distance themselves, finally releasing the land from their jurisdiction. Civil war followed, the various Kings of the land rising up against one another. The Great King Vitallion Mulciber triumphed, moving from one realm to the next on a campaign of terror, razing whole villages and conscripting the conquered into service. Upon the eve of the final battle, his best General Percival Plantagenet came into his tent, and betraying his liege slit his throat. With the passing of King Mulciber, the reign of terror came to an end as did the war the next day. With the end of the war came a great time of unification under the King Percival Plantagenet. Sired by the Great Conqueror, the sons of Percival ruled the land for three centuries, however on a tragic day, during the annual lands-meet, the descendant of King Mulciber, Steward Mordred Mulciber, performed the most bold assassination in history, annihilating the entire Royal family and thus putting an end to the line of Plantagenet, settling the ancient debt of blood. With no heir to take the throne, the Steward of the realm was appointed by law as Regent, leaving the Lords to conspire against one another, to claim the throne and rule beside the noble house. Will you side with the treacherous steward? Will you fight for independence? Or will you try and take it all?
As it now stands, the Steward Mordred Mulciber has called the landsmeet, with Lords Roseward, Keanan, and De Greniadr all vying for control. Meanwhile, a peasant uprising in the heart of the Crownlands, Sturmingia, has begun to upset the ancient bloodlines power over the continent. Spreading like a virus, it is a sign that great change is sweeping the realm. Will the peasantry overthrow the Lords? Will the ambitious De Greniadr stage his own revolt? The future has yet to be written, and all the while the Lords debate who will be the next successor to the Golden Throne of the Black Citadel.
