Because of all the crisis going on, Maitea has been filled with complainers and rioters. However, yesterday at 4:00 AM, a group of 20 soldiers broke into the Emperor's palace, shot up the building, and proceeded to pin the Emperor down on the floor and fire a revolver in his mouth. The soldiers then claimed authority over the country and completely took control. They claim that they'll still be at war with their enemies, as they believe "Once you're an enemy of Maitea, you're an enemy until the day you're eradicated from existence."

The nation's new leader is named
Meinard Westerberg, and is the self-declared "Eternal President" of Maitea.

The new government is more focused on democracy, and the nation is now around as free as Canada. All laws relating to concentration camps have been removed, and the military still continues to build up. The new government is highly against fascism, communism, socialism, and countries stripped of personal freedom. A new flag and general policies are being created as the government slowly rebuilds into a new nation.
