No matter where you stand politically - even if you're unsure of what your political ideology is - it is important to take part in the process of shaping our government.

What happened?

The Cold War is raging with the U.S.S.R and U.S.A going at it. With the loss of Vietnam to Communism, and deteriorating relations, what will happen in our new world? With new countries rising, and others falling. To the numerous coups, and different decisions that were made. It is up to you to chose what happened during these vital years, and how it shaped your nation. And yes, it is 1983.

Let me share something with all of you, especially the ones who thinks the RP is boring because it is realistic. This kills me, as there is so much you could be doing, but chose just not to do it. The RP is what you make it, and it is up to you to put yourself into a position to have some fun. For example, you can't buy a video game that is player driven, and expect for it to make all the actions for you to have fun for you, thats on you. And in a RP like this, you forget that you can play multiple perspectives. You are running a COUNTRY, not running a SINGLE LEADER. What this means, is that you have control over all elements in your country to RP, and many options on what to do.

Like when your roleplaying as your leader, you can have weekly meetings with your cabinet just on status reports, you can make public experiences, you can detail a daily life of them, or you can enact new policies. Unfortunately most people believe that all this RP is, is making a policy, after another policy, and never bother to do more, which is certainly going to get boring. If rping any of that out of your leader gets boring, shift your story-telling to a parliament member, and start debating with politicians over bills they are passing, or introduce bills from a parliament member, and detail getting support, maybe building a new party, ect. If you don't wanna do that, shift your story-telling over to the military, and detail a general training his men, daily routine of a army base, military drills, research test, ect.

For me, as the USA if I get bored rping any of that, I can switch to the Federal Bureau of Investigation as it is part of my country, and rp going after Mafia's, Cross-Country criminals, do Counter-Intelligence, ect. And the same holds for the Central Office of Intelligence, and Drug Enforcement Agency. And let us say that I don't want to do any of that, then I could RP someone from the Department of Agriculture visiting farms, making statistics of growth, down to a individual civilian just living through all of your policies, and the daily life of a figure that might grow to power in your country.

The Possibilities people are endless, and that is what brings a Player-Driven RP, as we will not be here to supply you with everything. Imagine us as Game Developers or Game Masters of Star Wars the Old Republic, or any MMO game that relies on you to do things to have fun, we can only give you the tool to do it, you have to actually do it. So I don't wanna hear the "This is boring" excuse again, as that just means you are not trying enough to give yourself something fun to do. And that is that.

Rules:

Godmodding:
No Godmodding, Period.

I think the Cold-War is great, but maybe this would've been better in 1945?:
Well, I thought about that too, but most of that period would just be us rebuilding every nation in Europe, releasing 75% of the earth into their own states, waiting at-least 10 years to get stable enough to actually do everything else. And that is time-consuming, and just having it in the 80's is a good point.

Point of No-Return
Everything up to the end of WW2 happened, which was in 1945. Everything up to 1945 happened, but whatever happened after that can be altered to your liking. The only thing that didn't happen is the United Nations being created. This is done to save going through the hassel of doing that, and the fact of with a United Nations, it might have gotten destroyed considering what all we might put down on our apps. If you wish to revive it, just make it ICLY.

Nuclear Warfare:
Nuclear Weapons usage are going to be a strict part of this RP as Fallout is not something nice and there are rules on how to properly use them and try and not be so-..ugh about it. Let us say two countries go to war, I don't want the two countries to as soon as they get into conflict, launch a nuclear missile at someone. If you are expecting to do that, this is not your RP. Now I will allow nuclear weapons to fly at times, but be aware of range and the possibility of it not making it to the target. Use it as sorta a "Last-Resort tactic". All Nuclear strikes must be pre-approved by me and made with legit reasons, even if you are bluffing the use just to get what you want.

Timescale:
Every page, equals three months in the IC. This is to keep the RP flowing, and provides for laws and such to be drafted and put into effect. You are REQUIRED, to date the MONTH AND YEAR of your actions, so we can keep track of time.

Historical Accuracy:
What does this mean? We are following historical context for now, but when the RP starts we will most certainly deviate.

Waging War:
Any conflict that is started must be waged reasonably and realistically. Also be aware of the terrian you are invading as that is a determining factor in battles. Troop mobilization on a nationwide scale takes time as well, at the very least two weeks for the most advanced nations just in the home region. And so, when you are about to invade and a page ends, you are to just postpone your invasion and say in the IC their were (Fuel shortages, increased preparation, ect), to make up for your loss. This also means the opposing team will not be able to see your units, until this time, if they are even spying on you. If you have any questions about this, let me know.

Technology:
Understanding the limitations of your nation's technology is important. There are limitations for most countries as they are not as advanced as the Russian's or Americans or any real nation at that power. If you would like to engage in research, you are free to start new projects, but be aware they make take a second to get done.

Know How to Lose:
If you lose, say good game and go on. You can request to play as a revolutionary with new goals in the country you lost power in if you wish, just be realistic and don't go out there doing superman style politics/warfare.

Meta-Gaming:
What is meta-gaming? If something is talked about in OOC, for example a invasion plan for Afghanistan. I don't want someone going in there and placing troops in the way of the plan just from what they read in OOC.

Post Quality:
All post will at least need to be two paragraphs long, with 8 sentences per paragraph minimum. If you do not meet this standard, do not apply. Here is some examples of post we like: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=293610&p=19831873#p19831873 which as you will see, it can be really long or the way the Afghanistan post is, either way both are accepted.

Post these numbers, and I will get with you soon.

Capital City: Constantinople

Government Form: (Yes, this is a field you must fill out) Military Dictatorship, veneer: Republic with puppet Congress
Ideology: (Refer to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_po ... gies)) Nationalism, Fascism, Militarism
Foreign Policy: (How does your nation see the world? What is its stance or position on issues outside its country? Make sure you include relations with "The West(USA)" and "The East(U.S.S.R).
The Ottoman Federal Republic believes it is stuck in the middle of the "West vs.East" conflict and wishes to get close to neither in fear of the repercussions. However, it doesn't realize the dangers of being neutral on its own. It tends to sympathize with the USSR since the colossal nation is much closer to the mainland. The Ottomans believe they are the rightful heir to all of the Middle East lands and tends to have an aggressive foreign policy towards its neighbors.
Domestic Policy: (How does your nation internally operate?) The Congress headquartered in Constantinople acts as the legislative body. There are 60 senators in total, 20 from each of the comprised countries that form the Ottoman Republic. There are 300 Assemblymen total, 100 each from the 3 comprised countries that make up the Republic. 3 main party's dominate the political make-up of the Congress; the Liberty Party, the Conservative Party, and the Janussary Party. The Congress recently has become Janussary dominant as Col.AbdulAziz created it. The government has become a military style Junta and the Congress is just a puppet to AbdulAziz.

Economic Freedoms /10:7

Military Size: Active: 1,050,000 Reserve: 750,000 Paramilitary: 200,000 Draft available: 2,000,000 conscripts
Military Description: (ie, quality of equipment, doctrine, etc.) The Ottoman Armed Forces are divided into sections: the Ottoman Republic Forces, Ottoman Republic Airforce, Ottoman Naval Force, Ottoman Territorial Defense Force, Republican Guard, Ottoman Special Operatives, Ottoman Airborne Force. The Ottoman miltary since maintaining good relations with the USSR tends to import most of its equipment from the Soviets, and began establishing its own line of arms manufacturing after obtaining blueprints for the T-55 and the Su-7B. Most of the small arms are imported from the Soviets as well, along with artillery and AA weaponry. Its Navy, however, it purchases from the US.
Strengths and Weaknesses: (What is your military good at, and what is it bad at?) Land and Air the Otomans excel at, however, on the Naval front the Ottomans lack experience in.
Law Enforcement: (How does Law Enforcement operate in your country? Who runs it, and how efficient is it?)
The Law enforcement of the Republic is ran by the Department of the Interior and specializes in counter insurgency operations. However, they mainly focus on expelling and ridding the country of dissenters and opposition. The standard Law Enforcer looks like this:
Image
Intelligence agencies(Domestic and Foreign): The Domestic Secret Police is called the Ritajin Services in charge of apprehending any threat to the regime it also serves as a foreign intelligence service for the regime and serves dual roles.

Description of Your Nation's Economy: The economy of the Ottoman Republic is a mixture of industrial based and agrarian sectors. The industrial produces textiles, auto parts, industrial equipment, canned goods, gas and oil, petrol products, jewelry, concentrated ores. The agrarian produces, meat and poultry, grains, various desert fruits, bread and wheat, milk, cotton, wool. The economy stagnates from the recently imposed inequal tax which tax more if you dont make above the annual median income. The stock market for the Ottoman Republic plummeted resulting in slow economic growth.
Description of Your Nation's Government: The regime keeps a iron grip over its populace. Propaganda tends to show militaristic pride and pride in nationalism. The regime intimidates its populace into submission, it demands fear instead of respect. It has various departments if ti were that of a democracy, however, all these departments report back to Col. Mehemed Abdulaziz II and take orders directly from him. Abdulaziz runs the show in the country and no one makes any decision without his consent.
History of your Nation: The Ottoman's history throughout its existence pretty much ran its course, but the major change came after WW1. After assuming defeat in WW1 the Allies wished to dissolve the Ottoman Empire into smaller spheres of influence controlled by other imperial powers. However in 1920 after a petition to keep the core of the Ottoman country together it agreeed to relinquish its controls on the Arab peninsula. The Ottomans were dissolved to just Syria, Turkey, and Iraq. In 1925 after the economy became relatively stable for growth a massive industrial reform was advocated. In 1930 5 years of growth saw an economic gap grow between the rich and the poor and would lay the foundation of economic disparity for the next century to come. This angered a prominent group who rose to power called the Janussaries. The Janussaries voiced there opinion heavily and gained traction in Iraq and Syria. They advocated a more equal stance across the board, equality for every citizen in the Empire. The Janussaries, however, looked like a bunch of young radical officers to the establishment. So in 1938 the Dahr trials began which the arrest and execution of 700 Janussary officers and leaders.

The core of the Janussary movement didn't shake and in 1939 a coup was staged on Mehemed VII and installed Gen.Abdullah Abdullah. In the wake of the German invasion of Poland, Abdullah Abdullah sympathized with Nazi Germany. Like the Nazis, the Janussaries were radical extreme fascists and emphasized law and order. Abdullah Abdullah adopted Hitlers final solution idea and used it on the ethnic Jews living in the Empire. The Republic again saw one of the darkest moments in its history. In 1941 Abdullah Abdullah officially joined the Axis, sending oil and raw materials to the axis members. He even bailed out Mussolini in his failed invasion of Greece and sent troops to the troops to invade Russia through the Causcus when Hitler launched Operation Barbarossa. When Mussolini invaded Egypt Abdullah Abdullah invaded from the West. However, after the Allies expelled the Axis out of Africa they turned there attention on driving out the Ottomans in the Middild East. In early 1943, Allied forces penetrated the Sinai line and drove the Ottomans into Palestine. There a stale mate ensued, with the Russians slowly pushing back the German onslaught the Ottomans held onto their newly acquired Causcus land dearly. In August of 1943 the Russians took the Crimea and drove the Ottomans to the Turkish border. The British and French simultaneously landed near Basra,Iraq and the Ottomans had transfer significant forces from the bulk of their army to entrench themselves around Baghdad. In 1944 the Ottomans lost Baghdad, the Russians blockaded Constantinople, and Allied penetrated Syria. On October the 2nd, 1944 Abdullah Abdullah surrendered.

In 1945, a popular uprising overthrew Abdullah Abdullah and his Janussaries and elected Azizi Pasha. Pasha in a move that shocked the world, dissolved the Sultanate and established a Republic. Under Pasha considerable democratic reforms were undertook and the Ottoman Federal Republic was born. The constitution of 1947 was written and the Constantinople Congress was established. Pasha won a second term in 1950 and began a massive education revitalization, renovating primary schools and constructing universities. Under Pasha the Republic embraced Western ideas and culture and opened up Cinemas and Casinos. A great debate arose over conservative traditional principles and modernization. In 1953, relations thrived with the West. Britain, France, and the US poured billions of dollars worth of aid into to Pasha's education drive. Pasha had a surplus even to fix up the infrastructure damaged and/or destroyed during the war. In 1955 elections were held again and Dilla Kemal of the Liberty Party was elected. Under Dilla's administration infrastructure thrived. Bridges, roads, railways, dams, power lines, communications, and docks were constructed or repaired. The economy strengthened as oil became the primary export in 1969. In 1970 Attaturk was elected from the Conservative Party and began focusing on healthcare. A state controlled insurance program was instituted and services at clinics were free whilst visits at hospitals were severely reduced in cost. A medical fund was opened up as government subsidies and donations were poured into it. Under Attaturk the Academy of Science flourished in Constantinople and 3 new Medical Lab were erected. 1973 saw a Janussary insurrection in Syria. Attaturk was reelected in 1975. Later that year, new hospitals arose throughout the country. In 1978 however, a scandal arose as serious allegations of voting fraud was accounted for. Attaturk had bribed the counters to stuff the ballot and not only that but began embezzling profits from the medical fund. 2.6 billion dollars in all were embezzled. A coup was staged by Col. Mehemed AbdulAziz which overthrew Attaturk's administration and executed not only officials within the administration but President Attaturk himself.

Col.Mehemed AbdulAziz disbanded the constitution of 1947, made the newly created Janussary Party the majority in Congress and party membership mandatory for administration officials. AbdulAziz took on the title of President, and began working on improving industrial capabilities and welfare development. In 1979 AbdulAziz purchased blueprints on the T-55 tank and Su-7B. He began drawing designs on making his own cheaper version of the AK-47. In 1980 tensions brewed over the straight of Hormuz with Iran. In September of 1980 the puppet Constantinople Congress declared war on Iran. The war has dragged on for 3 years and continues now.

NS Name: Cymrea
Nation Name: United States of America, USA
Head of State: President Ronald Reagan
Head of Government: President Ronald Reagan

Claims: Continental United States, Alaska, Hawai'i, American Samoa, Baker Island, Guam, Howland Island, Jarvis Island, Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef, Midway Islands, Navassa Island, Northern Mariana Islands, Palmyra Atoll, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Wake Island.
Capital City: Washington D.C.

Government Form: constitution-based federal republic; strong democratic tradition
Ideology: Republicanism
Foreign Policy: There are two basic views about President Ronald Reagan's foreign policy. One, the Administration's, appears to be accepted (if the opinion polls are to be believed) by the majority of Americans. It is that the United States, after years of weakness and humiliation, has once again faced the challenge of an aggressive, expansionist Soviet Union, revived the global economy, rescued the west and generally reasserted true American leadership in the world. The other view is shared to a greater or lesser extent by much of the rest of mankind, with the possible exceptions of the Israelis, the South Africans, President Marcos of the Philippines and a few right-wing governments in Central and South America. It is that the Reagan Administration has vastly overreacted to the Soviet threat, thereby distorting the American (and hence the world) economy, quickening the arms race, warping its own judgment about events in the Third World, and further debasing the language of international intercourse with feverish rhetoric. A subsidiary charge, laid principally by the Europeans, Canadians and many Latin Americans, but frequently endorsed in the Arab world and the Far East, is that in a desperate desire to rediscover "leadership," the United States under Reagan has reverted to its worst unilateral habits, resenting and ignoring, when it deigns to notice, the independent views and interests of its friends and allies.

The United States has a special relationship with the United Kingdom and strong ties with Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Israel, and several European countries, including France, Italy, Germany, and Spain. It works closely with friends on military and security issues and with its neighbors.

Domestic Policy: The 1970s and early 1980s saw the onset of "stagflation". After his election in 1980, President Ronald Reagan responded to economic stagnation with free-market oriented reforms. Domestic policies stress retaining conservative economic values, starting with the president's implementation of supply-side economic policies, dubbed "Reaganomics" by both supporters and detractors. His policies include the largest tax cut in American history as well as increased defense spending as part of his Soviet strategy. Taxes have been raised significantly four times due to economic conditions and reforms, but the tax reforms instituted bring top marginal rates to their lowest levels since 1931.

Air Force Active: 250,000
Air Force Reserve: 300,000
Marine Corps Active: 180,000
Total: 1,930,000 (0.8% of population)

Military Description: The president holds the title of commander-in-chief of the nation's armed forces and appoints its leaders, the Secretary of Defense and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The United States Department of Defense administers the armed forces, including the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force. Military service is voluntary, though conscription may occur in wartime through the Selective Service System. American forces can be rapidly deployed by the Air Force's large fleet of transport aircraft, the Navy's 10 active aircraft carriers, and Marine Expeditionary Units at sea with the Navy's Atlantic and Pacific fleets. The military operates 865 bases and facilities abroad, and maintains deployments greater than 100 active duty personnel in 25 foreign countries.

Strengths and Weaknesses: For the Reagan Administration, it is "the year of the missile." The American effort to introduce new intermediate-range weapons into Western Europe and to "modernize" the U.S. strategic arsenal, primarily with the development of the MX intercontinental missile, is well underway. Heretofore, nuclear arms control was a matter of keeping up appearances, of limiting damage, of buying time, and of laying the ground for possible agreement later.

Law Enforcement: Law enforcement in the United States is primarily the responsibility of local police and sheriff's departments, with state police providing broader services. Federal agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the U.S. Marshals Service have specialized duties. At the federal level and in almost every state, jurisprudence operates on a common law system. State courts conduct most criminal trials; federal courts handle certain designated crimes as well as certain appeals from the state criminal courts.
Intelligence agencies(Domestic and Foreign): National Security Agency (NSA), Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)

Description of Your Nation's Economy: The United States has a capitalist mixed economy which is fueled by abundant natural resources and high productivity. Main imports include agricultural products, industrial supplies, crude oil, telecommunications equipment, motor vehicle parts, office machines, electric power machinery, automobiles, clothing, medicines, furniture, and toys. Primary exports include soybeans, fruit, corn, organic chemicals, transistors, aircraft, motor vehicle parts, computers, telecommunications equipment, automobiles, and medicines.

Description of Your Nation's Government: The United States is a constitutional republic and representative democracy, "in which majority rule is tempered by minority rights protected by law". The government is regulated by a system of checks and balances defined by the U.S. Constitution, which serves as the country's supreme legal document.

In the American federalist system, citizens are usually subject to three levels of government: federal, state, and local. The local government's duties are commonly split between county and municipal governments. In almost all cases, executive and legislative officials are elected by a plurality vote of citizens by district. There is no proportional representation at the federal level, and it is very rare at lower levels.

History of your Nation: As in real-world, subject to alteration as other nations post their own histories.
Population of entire nation: 234,799,000 (1983 Populstat)

Taxes have been raised significantly four times due to economic conditions and reforms, but the tax reforms instituted bring top marginal rates to their lowest levels since 1931.

With history being the same through WWII, and my own being almost entirely unchanged, the CSA wouldn't make sense. I will be running the quintessential, Cold War, by-God U. S. of A! :p

Would it be possible to say that, after WW2, Germany was unified under Western occupation after negotiations with the Soviets or not?

Yea it would be possible, but you would have to come up with a really good reason to why the Soviets backed down.

The West had nuclear weapons? I can probably come up with a better treason, just give me a little bit of time.

That's even less likely than a unified Germany by the 80s... Just my $.02

But if you get Germany, then I guess I'll try to go for either France, England, or a Unified Korea under the North regime.

That almost definitely looks like it won't be accepted. The West & the Comminturn wouldn't allow for both the Nazis to remain in power AND occupy France.

And I might do Korea, then. Maybe England, but probably Korea

WW2's Normandy invasion failed, and the Soviet Union was never invaded. I've already discussed this with the operator.

Oh. I was confused because everything after 1945 is up for debate, but not anything before then. But, if the OP's okay with it...

Anyways, since I can't make an app for a little while, you're probably gonna get it. All I can say is, dis gun b gûd.

Head of State: Edward Victstein
Head of Government: Edward Victstein
Flag:

Claims: Germany, Western Poland, France, Denmark, Austria, Hungry, Czechoslovakia, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
Image

Capital City: Berlin

Government Form: Single Party Fascist Autocracy
Ideology: Nazi Germany, is a very unique form of government. It couples extreme nationalism, with total obedience and working towards the goals of the state instead of the individual. As a result a lot of creative freedom, and civil liberties are deemed 'expendable' in order to better suit the needs of the government. As a result from massive influxes of propaganda that start right at birth the people have a extreme devotion to this policy and their current Fuehrer.
Foreign Policy: Nazi Germany, does not lead to any particular side. As it can be considered it's own super power in this mix mashed Cold War. Foreign policy is dictated by what the state needs for it's benefaction with a heavy set of ideas on using overwhelming superior force in order to achieve that. A main goal is the production of a superior defense and offensive force. Another goal is the obtainment of soldiers from senior occupied areas such as Austria, Hungry, and Western Poland. While smaller occupied areas such as the rest still provide needed 'conscripts' but mainly exist for resources.
Civil Freedoms /10: Full citizenship is given to citizens of Germanic origin/Aryans, Service members or those who have given heavy contribution to society. Full citizens are given mostly full civil rights. Non-Citizens are seen as pure assets only to the state and are not granted many civil rights if at all.
Political Freedoms /10: No political freedoms exist in the occupied lands.
Economic Freedoms /10: While enjoying a form of Capitalism, with the occasional intervention of the Government to ensure key industries do not extort the local populace. Trade is limited to those who fall under the Reich banner, so inter-trade between the occupied states is common and controlled by the government. People are not dictated on what they purchase.

Military Size: As at the height of the second world war Germany possessed a top count of twenty million troops. This now combined with the extreme Nationalism has resulted in a outstanding Military personnel across all branches of 22,000,000 with the easy ability to force conscription upon occupied states.

Military Description: Nazi Germany due to it's heavy militaristic cultural formation, is meant to be very large, and very powerful. It's current state reflects this. Units are given state of the art equipment, and weaponry and equipment is adapted to suit the current combat zone to better the soldiers. A lot of the equipment is shiny and new, as it is constantly updated and redesigned to be better suited to combat other modern equipment. Some say it has a futuristic feel to some of the weapons, others a more older World War era feel, but all perform just as well, and in some cases better than current weaponry they are up against.

Doctrine is based on lightning fast tactics known as Blitzkrieg, where full mechanized forces are supported by aerial bombardment of key military installations such as airfields, barracks and factories. Units instead of all having pre-assigned vital roles, are given general orders and taught to adapt and perform mission based tactics to acomplish various goals that all tie together to accomplish a bigger goal.

Strengths and Weaknesses: The strength in the armed forces resides in sheer size, discipline, and power. With a large military, a harsh and uniform organization as well as constant drilling and improvement on old and new Technologies leads to a very strong army. The problem with the military is that it is so large, it requires a massive amount of logistical structure and support from the nation. Often leading the Government to resort to drastic measures in order to support it in a prolonged war.
Law Enforcement: Law enforcement is handed to the Special Service Police, who are the there dominated by the Schutzstaffel. Police are tasked to be brutal, uniform and efficient. The SSP encounter virtually no problems in some areas, while others like Poland and parts of Northern France have active resistances and police units working to uproot them. So far, much of the resistance is slowly being stamped out. The active combat phase of resistance has ended, and has now shifted to secrecy and hiding.
Intelligence agencies: Foreigners are actively recruited by the state, inside of occupied states and abroad to be trained, and used as foreign spies. Often disguising themselves as civilians, or in the rare case soldiers. Intelligence is normally used to ensure that German made weaponry does not leave German hands, and foreign made weaponry is adapted or eliminated. Intelligence services also are dominated by listening posts placed on foreign borders, and long-depth submarines on foreign costs. They are meant to gather information, on military installations and infrastructure. Although is may be probably the state does operate spy aircraft and satilights. All intel services are put under the Operation of Special Services, or the OSS. Who also run some key Special Forces.

Description of Your Nation's Economy: While enjoying a form of Capitalism, with the occasional intervention of the Government to ensure key industries do not extort the local populace. Trade is limited to those who fall under the Reich banner, so inter-trade between the occupied states is common and controlled by the government.Description of Your Nation's Government: The Nazi State is a one party political system, dominated by the Nazi party, who in tern is dominated by a single key figure known as the Fuehrer who is 'elected'. Government is put on the total obedience to superiors as well as military leaders dominating civil ones.
History of your Nation:
In 1941, Operation Barbossa was cancelled due to the death of Adolf Hitler, due to a rumored assassination attempt that was later theorized to be Victstein forcibly seizing power. The plan was abandoned due to growing tensions with Britan and it's other allies. In 1944, without the bogging down of troops on the eastern front, the Normandy Invasion met more resistance than expected resulting in the defeat of Allied Landing parties. Although hostilities were still strong, with the recent death of a substantial amount of troops and a major failure of operations. A peace deal was proposed, that resulted in a fragile but successful ceasefire attempt that resulted in the recognition of newly seized territory, but the peaceful liberation of Norway as a sign of new German good faith. However a substantial amount of natural resources were taken from the country in anticipation of this. There is however the existence of a tramway that still ferries supplies to Germany from Norway, however now with the Norwegian government benefiting greatly from this trade agreement. The Final Solution began to less target Jewish population, and other unwanted, instead target was put on political dissidents and using them for slave labor. These are comparable to Soviet Gulags. Prior to this Victstein gave a famous speech that said Adolf was wrong to blame the Bolsheviks/Communists and Jews for Germanic problems, but instead the other world governments, and themselves for letting it happen. In 1959 thanks to advances in already superior German Rocketry, as with the retainment of Wherner von Braun who had not been able to defect due to the war. The Nazi's successfully landed a man on the moon.

Army is way to large, scale the numbers significantly. Please expand on your history a little more thoroughly.261 million that's a lot of people I'll have to check that. My Co-OP or myself will tell you if anything needs to change.
