From: Crown Regent Peter of Portugal
It seems that our nations would do well to ally in opposition to the Muslim threat, which still lingers at our door. I suggest the betrothal of the young King Afonso to a relative of yourself, to secure such an alliance.
Signed,
Peter De Avis

From: The anonymous ruler of Bohemia
Greetings, I have written to you concerning a topic that will be very important to you. You are the ruler of a principality which my nation is very interested in. I am speaking of Ansbach. I wish to have with you concerning the future of this principality concerning what nation holds reign over it. Brandenburg and Bohemia are both among the superpowers of the Holy Roman Empire, and we believe war between them would be catastrophic to the Empire. We wish to talk of a possibility of a duel rule over Ansbach, and a way both nations can have some power over Ansbach. The Kingdom of Bohemia invites you too Prague to have this discussion.

A: El Corte Real de Portugal
De: El Rey de La Corona de Castilla y León
El Rey de Portugal,
I have received recently your letter concerning the royal betrothing of a daughter in The House of Trastámara to the current reigning royalty of Portugal. While I am excited that your majesty has proposed such a gracious offering, I hope to delve deeper into the diplomacy between two brother kingdoms. Long have the Portuguese and Castillans worked collaboratively; through the hardships of the bloody Reconquista, the enlightening expeditions by the Prince Henry o Navegador, and even through the turbulence of the unsteady relations between our Alfonso and the Portuguese madame Maria, we have remained a similar people. With this in mind, I hope that it crosses your thoughts as well that the Portuguese and Castillans will promote and provide for the common defense, welfare, and economies of Iberia. Trade barriers between the mountainous Lisbon and the plains of Toledo should be eradicated, and the crowns ruling over the two domains should cooperate to benefit the people of Iberia, and not just our respective realms.
Let it be generally acknowledged, brother, that both our crowns are destined for greatness. Soon we may have peoples ensconce themselves, voluntarily, into our warm puissance. It will be through the seas we may attain this mantle, and our students, alumni, and professors from the University of Lisbon must be rivaled in mastery by none so that they may jointly defend our cohesive ambitions.
There is no room for divisions within our house, for then it may crumble down to ruins.
Cordialmente,
Juan de Trastámara

I also agree with you on the fact that the war would be catastrophic and solving this without war would be the best choice and it would not be as costly as a war where hundreds will die. I will be coming to Prague to discuss it with you about this topic

To His Royal Majesty, King Henry VI of England,
Your Majesty, I write to you, in plain, to discuss friendship between our Kingdoms. Our Kingdom has access to trade in the Mediterranean which would help your Kingdom flourish. And for me, Majesty, a strong, wealthy England is good for us, as an increasingly powerful France is a threat to the security of the Kingdom of Aragon. So, we write to you asking for a pledge of friendship and trade between our two Kingdoms.
Signed,
King Alfonso V of Aragon, Naples, Sicily, Masorca, Sardinia and Corsica, and Valencia and Count of Barcelona

Friends. Emissaries. Countrymen.
We are joined today to give thanks to God for his providence and blessings towards our Kingdom during the past year, and to pray that he will continue to lay his hand upon our domain.
We have faced hardships, and we will continue to do so. Kings and Caliphs surround us, and eye us with contempt, but we will not falter. Even now, during these troubling times, we will prevail. We will hold steadfast to the providence of Christ.
Glory be to God! God bless Cypress! God Bless Armenia! And God bless Jerusalem!"

I happily ask your, the Duchy of Burgundy, the great nation of the west. In an alliance offer, and wish to see if you would assist me in the Tuscan Conquest of Ancona, Italy. Urbino has been a pest in Central Italy for long, the Papal state is still medling in Europe. I believe the Church should own Vatican, but not have outside lands! They have the thousands of men of Europe at their disposal. They waste it calling the "Crusades" Killing out men, sometimes for no reason! The major threat of Europe right now is the Ottomans, and they are threatening Byzantium! Constantinople is at major threat, as the Ottoman empire grows larger. We Europeans must band together, not under the banner of the pope. But under the individual banners of our nations, and fight for the glory of god! Not for the corruption of the church! Sorry for going off into a tadum, but I wish to ask for the alliance. I wish to hear from you again Great Duke Phillip III.
Sincerely, Prince Cosimo de Medici of Tuscany.

Greetings, great ruler!
I have heard of the power of your kingdom, and I believe an alliance between our two nations would be fruitful. We both rule powerful and prosperous nations, and closer relations will not only increase the international influence of both our realms, but would also lead to great cultural advancement in our dominions. I implore you to consider my humble request, and should you still have any doubts or questions about my proposal, I would be open to a conference on the subject at the Coudenberg Palace in Brussels.
Sincerely, Philip of Burgundy

It was noon at the Grand Duke of the West's court, and Philip the Good was gathered with his top advisers: Cardinal Michel Liganzo, and the Burgundian duke's cousin Jean de Valois. "Gentlemen, I've been thinking," Philip said to his advisers. "I need some new allies. Specifically, some allies of the of the German variety."
"Explain, my liege," Liganzo replied.
"Simply put, I need some influence in the Holy Roman Empire in case I cannot count on France nor England. The Kingdom of Bohemia is a large, powerful, and enlightened land. They will be good for my purposes."
"Wise choice," Jean agreed.(Image)

We are delighted to hear of this alliance, and we accept. We have a strong interest in the nearby principality of Ansbach, and it would be good to a powerful nation such as yourself to support our claim say we meet strong opposition. I currently cannot come to Brussels as the ruler of Ansbach is coming to Prague to discuss the situation. We hope you understand.

I am glad to hear of your acceptance, and I believe this alliance will be to the benefit of both our nations. Do not worry about meeting in Brussels; I only suggested the meeting in case you had any concerns about my proposal, but seeing that you have wholeheartedly accepted my proposal, there is no need for a meeting. I wish you the best of luck in the Ansbach situation, and may God bless the Kingdom of Bohemia!
