A new era of space exploration and advancement has begun, with two major projects headed by Exaequatio: The control of an asteroid, making it orbit the Moon, and mining of said asteroid, and the creation of a space elevator.

Those helping with the first project include Petrokovia and Soviet Chernarus.
Those helping with the second project include Petrokovia and the Nickel Empire.

In other news, Soviet Chernarus and Petrokovia have sent reconstruction aid to Almiana to help them complete their reconstruction after the Great War, Petrokovia and Aaresa have successfully eradicated the threat of White Star from their nations, and tensions between New San Nicholas and the Nickel Empire are still high.

Zhizhao is hoping to help in anyway necessary with space exploration projects, as long as our crew are allowed aboard all missions in which we fund 15% or more. We can negotiate the allocation of natural resources gained from projects we help fund when those issues arise.

Exaequatio agrees, though with current technology, an actual tractor beam might prove difficult and is likely unattainable in the near future. In order to move the asteroid it is recommended to use solar electric propulsion and gravity tractor technology. We will be constructing those immediately.

Well in terms of the space elevator, we will need four basic components; anchor station, a cable, climber/elevator, and the counterweight. I highly suggest that the counterweight be a joint construction by all participating countries as that will likely be a space station.

The operation of the guide that will control the asteroid will be manned, with computer assistance. The person operating said device, I am guessing, will be the Exaequatian crew member, as you can train him/her as the device is being built. The pilot of the ship itself will be Petrokovian.

I think we should also create a protocol for any extraterrestrial life that is found. It'd most likely by microscopic or unicellular, but worth studying nonetheless. I propose that all parties collaborating in space exploration should receive samples for studying, and if there isn't a large enough sample, it should be brought to a collaborative research facility, where we can all study it collectively.

Petrokovia was not planning for human miners, but just one or two humans that may oversee the robots, and repair them if necessary.

Chernarus has publicly announced that it will not be assisting financially in the building of the space elevator, regarding it as a waste of resources and simply put, frivolous - however, it will send a small group of advisors, scientists, experts, and engineers to assist in the Project. Meanwhile the construction of the spaceshuttle continues, although completion is expected to take 4-5 years, even with foreign assistance. Relief efforts are beginning to be organized for Almiana and New San Nicholas as some 20,000 workers and 5,000 soldiers are to be deployed to both of these countries with their informed consent. Chernarus strongly urges other countries to supply workers for the cause.

The White Star has mostly lost power in Petrovokia and Chernarus, although it continues to mantain strong presences in New San Nicholas, Aaresa, and Almiana. Several Chernarussian men have been found attempting to fly to NSN in order to join the WS. They are currently in prison, facing life imprisonment and labor for the State. However, all flights to NSN have been terminated as a precaution. The government continues to maintain somewhat accurate lists of the White Star's members, which currently is around 5,250.
