Ultorius declares war against Luxemthania

Tiberius Vanderbilt, head of the Society of Engineers, and the General of Luxemthanias' army stands before the other engineers, discussing what to do about the rogue nations declaration of war.

"Today we stand here, present, at the ceremonial declaration of war that the nation of Ultorius has demanded; And what is it we are to do? Never before has our nation been dipped into the blood of others in conflict." Vanderbilt proclaims, he takes a seat at the round table, awaiting an answer from the group.

"I say we attack them." Says the only one of the group lacking grayness in their hair, Alistair. "A full out attack, and frequent air raids over there small nation will show them that we are no force to be reckoned with. Statistically speaking we have a population advantage, and a technological advantage as well. We could also attempt to liberate the people from their oppressive government, causing a rebellion from within." Alistair finishes abruptly. Murmurs of agreements flutter throughout the group.

"It is time to vote then." Vanderbilt stands before them.

... Majority vote declares that Alistair's' ideas will be regarded, and followed through.

Ultoria needs to seize more land.
The carpet bombing does some good but most of the war will depend on quantity

Thirty thousand troops are sent in by air forces to the country, being dropped off the borders of major cities. Air raids have been planned out, and are to be heavily focused on cities that heavily produce weaponry, vehicles and other war stock.

"It has begun." Proclaimed Tiberius Vanderbilt, standing before a crowd of thousands of political figures, guards and common Luxites. The crowd cheers with melancholy.

Tiberius Vanderbilt receives word about the successful bombings from a high ranking air force officer. "All is well" he repeats to the other engineers. A mournful cheer arises from them.

Luxemthania is sending a diplomatic peace treaty to the country of Ultorius, stating that they will stop the bombings, and the infiltration of their soldier if:

1. Ultorius pays reparations, including the costs of deploying Luxemthania's military.

2. Ultorius ceases bombings, and withdraws troops from Luxemthania.

"Sir we have received a telegram of treaty from Luxemthania" says Officer Praxxis
"This war was lost when it started, if only it could have been between both of us only" says the Dictator
" Very well I shall make a counter proposal" says The Dictator
1. The two nations shall support one another at all time no matter what 2. send reinforcements when in a war 3. become sworn allies forever
" Only then will it end" said The Dictator

"Sir, we have received a telegram with a counter-proposal from Ultorius." Says a rather small man, handing the envelope to the Head of Engineers.
Tiberius skims over the telegram, his brow burrowed in anger.

"This is preposterous!" He slams the telegram on the table, startling a sleeping engineer. "They completely altered everything we hoped to accomplish, and want us to support them? No matter what!..." He took a seat at the table and sipped his tea furiously. "Request a counter proposal to theirs then." Peeps up Alstair, who is regarded as the most cunning and intellectual figure in their group.

Luxemthania has sent a telegram to Ultorius with the following agreements, regarding a peace treaty.

1. Ultorius pay reparations, and costs of deployment for Luxemthanias military, and the military of any nations that sided with Luxemthania in the war.

2. Ultorius and Luxemthania become allied, and will support one another in the midst of war if need be.

3. Ultorius removes his troops from Luxemthania, until further political progress between the two nations is made.

4. Ultorius allows free trade between Luxemthania, and any nations we are allied to.
