A Joint Statement of Understanding between the Osiris Fraternal Order and the People's Republic of Lazarus on the Cessation of Hostilities:
Recognizing the mutual frustration between both parties with the lack of respect for their own internal sovereignty,
Understanding that both parties wish to pursue their political and military ideologies without direct aggression and hostility,
Committed to the belief that Lazarus and Osiris can pursue and stand for opposite sides of the greater conflict abroad without the need for Lazarus and Osiris to be locked into a war against either's homeland,
Believing strongly that the individual sovereignty of the two parties is of paramount importance,
Regretting the words and actions made prior to the war declaration which served as a catalyst to hostilities,
Noting that the war stands as a waste of martial resources and has mutually been a source of unnecessary political stress, diplomatic isolation, destability and unwanted collateral damage,
Also believing that both parties should,
a. invoke an immediate ceasefire of the Lazarene-Osiran War,
b. support a mutual commitment to an indefinite moratorium on hostile military and intelligence activities between both parties,
c. seek moves towards peace and reconciliation.
Advancing shared visions for both parties to enjoy a mutual respect for either's sovereignty and the freedom to participate on either side of military gameplay without political adversarialism.
