Looking for Region

So after playing for about a week and now getting to work on my factbook, I've decided I'd like to join a good region. My current one is alright, but it doesn't have the things I'm looking for.

What I want is:
-between 10 and 25 active members. I want to know almost everyone and their country. (The region's goal should be to have a few active good members instead of hundreds of inactives)
-casual and active RP with the region. I would like to go to war and make alliances and trade. What I'm really looking for is casual kind of stuff where nations can develop relationships. I don't want there to be a lot of realistic limitations on what we can do. I want it to be fair and fun rp with nice people.
-a map is okay but I'm currently working on a map of my country, and I would like to keep how it looks. I would prefer if the rp wasn't heavily based on location
-I guess I don't mind joining forums, but I would prefer communicating on this site

About me:
I'm 20 years old from Illinois. I'm a business student. I haven't really rp'd that much before, but I think I'm a good writer and I really love geography, history, and simulation games so as soon as I found this I was instantly interested. I plan on being on this site at least a couple hours a day. My schedule is pretty open right now so I plan on being active.

You could join my region of Mysterium We are a medium region, we have a little more than 40 nations. We are only about two months old and doing very well by my count. We have an offsite forum but most haven't joined. Also we will have elections very soon.

Well, Eos may be a little large for you... but there are actually about 15 active nations, all extremely friendly.

And I understand how you feel; looking for a good region is hard, but I'm really happy I joined Eos right from the start one year ago, and I met this really friendly community.

Also, Eos is a heavy self-RP nation, thus we don't really use the NS forums that much. Except for me, I'm an exception.

Take a look at Slavija. We are still in the midst of refounding(still have to elect a government and recreate our army) but have a active community and experienced roleplayers.

There is my [region]Communist Legion [\region]…It was founded a few days ago and I do hope it to get bigger. It's still new so the population is still minimal.
