--==World of Tomorrow==--
--==Post-War Roleplay==--

The Second world war has ended, It is 1947, and the countries have been disarrayed, From conjoining to being ripped apart street by street. New Empires now mark the lands of the old nations and new culture arises through the ashes of yesterday into the world of tomorrow. Will you unite a long forgotten empire? Perhaps you will create a new thriving empire. Will your enemy's fear you or walk all over you without your consent? All of this is to be determined by you.

This is an alternate history roleplay, you can chose a country, or countries, to create a new or once existing empire. Respect all other players and take this seriously as you would if you owned an actual country, This is an ALTERNATE rp so you may make changes to the history as long as OP approves.

A New Order Awaits
For the last time, the call to arms is sounded!
For the fight, we all stand prepared!
The flag on high!
The ranks tightly closed!
Millions are looking upon the swastika full of hope,
The day of freedom and of bread dawns!

Waffen Schutzstaffel Division,
doing daily drills.

Camp Himmler
Camp Himmler was having a rather normal day compared to the other camps, what was normal for a hidden camp filled with Nazi Soldiers trying to re-instill their regime. Schutzstaffel troops were doing their morning patrols around the camp about a mile out, normally in teams of four or five accompanied by an officer. Not much happened around Camp Himmler as it was just twenty or so miles away from Hamburg. It's a wonder no one had come and spotted them yet. The scene in the camp was that of a few soldiers walking around the perimeter of the fences, dragging their knives along the weathered barbed tipped fences making a cling sound as they walked. Soldiers on guard towers leaning over, or having a smoke with their Karabiner 98k scoped rifles on their back. Inside the camp soldiers were lounging around, others were having friendly conversation or doing drills. Men in tattered light gray clothing were moving boxes and tidying up. Doing normal labor.

It was decided that it was more efficient, and easy to use the unwanted as forced labor instead of exterminating them. This kept them free labor, and in the event they had nothing to do. Moving target practice. Their ranks were mostly filled by Jews, Slav's or captured Soldiers that were un-sympathetic with their cause. Dark even for the SS, to take old soldiers that they at one point would have fought with, and using them for forced labor. Although they were defiantly not happy with what the SS were doing. Hiding out in camps dotted all over Germany, Austria and bits of western Poland. To most people they were just fighting a lost cause, backed by some man on the radio.

Hans looked up from his book to see Edwin to his left sipping on a gray pot filled with what he assumed to be Coffe. Edwin broke off for a minute to mumble "Your coffee sucks Hans." before letting out a playful grin. Hands had a small chuckle before saying back "Maybe you should drink something else then Edwin". Their playful conversation was cut short by a gunshot, sparking everyone to look up to the scene.

A unwanted was on the floor clutching his kneecap, with blood seeping and leaking through his knuckles. He looked terrified up at a man in a gray uniform, and officer cap. With a small skull and crossbones on it. He was pointing a Luger down at the man and barked 'You fail to do even simple tasks for the last time you swine! There is no room for your kind here who do not provide use!" With that the man squeezed the trigger, and fired another shot into the man on the grounds head, where he fell over pale faced. The face of a dead man. Hans shook his head as two more unwanted came to drag the body away.

Just a normal day in the camp.

Image
Panzer Tank

Camp Ferdinand
The scene in the camp about forty miles off Berlin was a very different scene. Soldiers were stacking boxes of supplies and such with haste on cargo trucks, some unwanted were also chained up into the back of trucks. The rest were being herded up against a brick wall, and made to stand close together. Not more than ten feet in front of them was a soldier with a MG40, loading his machine gun. After the thumbs up from a soldier next to the 'herd' the man slammed the top of his machine gun shut and squeezed the trigger. Letting fly a shower of bullets on the men, splattering blood on the wall behind them. Such was protocol for moving camps. But they were doing something much, much more sinister than moving camps.

In front of the convoy of trucks were several Panzer tanks, fueled up with their engines running, soldiers rested on top of them with their weapons clutched tight to their chest. The camp commandant was standing next to the second to last tank holding a map, as a officer pointed to locations on it. They were prepping to link up with Camp Dependent, that was closer to Berlin. From there, whatever Vicstein ordered would be where they would go.

After a sharp whistle by the Commandant, who was folding the map and stuffing it into a interior pocket of his coat, followed by him climbing into the passenger seat of a small jeep driven by the very same officer. The Convoy began moving away from the Camp that had been picked clean as if by vultures, fire arose from it burning their operations plan. The smoke would be seen soon, but by that time the convoy would be long gone.

Excerpt of SS radio broadcast to Germany, on it's normal station.

Hello my brothers! This is SS radio broadcasting to you from a undisclosed location in central Germany. The traitorous swine currently inhabiting the reichstag are not your friends! They have sold you out during our time of glory! But the fight is not yet lost, some still exist. The heroic and just Schutzstaffel still inhabit holdouts dotted around the Rhineland. You too can fight, rise up and demand the SS to be restored to power. We will return the thousand year Reich to it's glory it deserves.

"My dearest emperor, we hear news of a rising up in china" exclaimed the Informer

"one must put time into patience to get time of relief" Replied the emperor
"There comes a time and a place for certain measures, this is not the time nor the place. Find the leader and execute him publicly to let them know that their independence is and always will be a thing of the past"

The Informant looked at his notepad and started to scribble kanji.

"And what news about this SS arising I hear?" Asked the emperor
"Well for the most part it's all myth they say, nobody can find where they are located although they do have quite a force as presumed." Replied the informant.

The emperor turns around and looks out of his palace into the peace garden
"I have very good relations with Germany and it's people as well as the SS that use to occupy it... Do all you can to find who runs this organization and set up a meeting with him. I may want to negotiate some terms.."

The informant quickly scribbles and walks into the hallway and off to the foreign relations minister.

"Dearest gods, grant me the power to rule this empire as honorable as can be possible.." The emperor whispers to himself as he walks off into the garden.

Convoy from Camp Ferdinand reaches Camp Himmler

The mam in the guard tower raised his rifle at the approaching trucks kicking up dirt behind him. Seeing the iron cross, he tightened his grip before seeing the dual lightening bolts on the side of the truck... They were SS. He breathed a heavy sigh of relief as he lowered this rifle.

The man in the guard tower waved his fingers and whistled. This signaled two unwanted to pull open the chain gate as truck after truck sped past the guard tower. Norma search protocols had been temporarily suspended because of the expectation of the Convoy. As they drove in, the supply and troop trucks drove over to a makeshift depot where soldiers and unwanted were ready to start unloading. While the tanks and Jeeps moved into formations. Killing the urn engines while the tank crews went to go make sire everything was in order.

Most of the supplies were not normal survival suppliesm but instead logistical like ammunition, explosives and fuel. As the unwanted went to work while being supervised by a SS soldier with a standard STG-44.

The Commandant of the camp stepped out of his jeep and took off his gloves and stuffed them in a coat pocket as the jeep sped off to formation.

The Commandant walked with his spitnshined boots and tidy uniform catching the gaze of many a soldier gawking at the leader figure in front of them making his way to a tent.

The Commandat peeled open the tent flap and ducked under the tent to see the ither Commandar look up froma map of Germany and smile. "Hello Victor. It is good to see you made it safe amd sound." he said in his thick Germanic accent. The Commandamt walked over and nodded "Yes Leo, we have much work to do."

Lima, the Gleaming Capital of the Royal Kingdom of Peru

The Peruvian King Hamana II smiled - crisply dressed in standard Peruvian military attire, he overlooked the military parade that was going through the gleaming capital of his great Kingdom. Soldiers marched, their weapons held high and their faces beaming. Several M4 Sherman tanks, freshly manafactured by one of Peru's closest trade partners, the United States of America, followed the soldiers. In the skies several planes flew overhead - one could tell it was one of the more modern versions, as a large part of the Peruvian Air Force still had biplanes. He overlooked the parade on the balcony of his Royal Palace - constructed during the times of prosperity in the 1800s following his nation's independence from Spain, it was a masterpiece, conceived and built by the world's most brilliant foreign and native Peruvian architects and engineers. The King sighed - the parade was not only a symbol of patriotism across the Empire, but of military power and dominance amongst the entire continent of South America.

The eager crowd of onlookers shouted cries of encouragement and waved at the soldiers. They pressed forward, but were blocked by local police officers. Some threw roses, flowers, cash at the men. One man, who managed to get past the guards, threw a Peruvian flag on one of the Sherman tanks. People who on an ordinary day went to work decided to skip it and watch the parade - things like that were common on the days when the military parades were held. The king sat comfortably on a plush chair while his relatives - all who were appointed to be the Minister of Production, Home and Internal Security, and Foreign Affairs - stood next to them, gaping at the sight of what seemed to be an army passing through Lima. Slowly but surely, the military parade passed by. The last Sherman tanks rolled off in the distance, as the king stood. He was a rather handsome man, in his 60s - he had gray hair that was always neatly combed. He did not have any facial hair and was almost always clean shaven when he made appearances in public.

He turned to reenter his Palace - the crowds had begun dispersing - some went off to work, some went back to their homes, but some lingered for no apparent reasons. The king could almost care less about what the people did after the parade passed. He turned to the Minister of Industrial and Agricultural Production, which was his youngest brother. "I assume you've met my quotas I specifically set to ensure that there is not the food shortages , like last year."
"Yes, your Royal Majesty - the quotas have been met. We have calculated it several dozen times by our top mathematicians and experts. Unfortunately, the population boom is causing more mouths to feed..." The minister paused, "But as I said before, the quotas have still been met. There will be no food shortage this year." He announced proudly.
"Good then," The king smiled, "And if I am not mistaken, you all have some business to attend to..."

Buenos Aires, Casa Rosada, Argentinian Reich.

''My General, the Five-Year Plan was approved''

''Excellent, now we can achieve or ambitious goals in a single blow. Call my ministers, is time to solve the Brazil Issue''

''Yes, my General''

Image

Following a lumbering recovery during 1933 to 1945, from 1946 to 1948 Argentina gained benefits from Perón's five-year plan. The GDP expanded by over a fourth during that brief boom, about as much as it had during the previous decade. Using roughly half the US$1.7 billion in reserves inherited from wartime surpluses for nationalizations, economic development agencies devoted most of the other half to finance both public and private investments; the roughly 70% jump in domestic fixed investment was accounted for mostly by industrial growth in the private sector. All this much-needed activity exposed an intrinsic weakness in the plan: it subsidized growth which, in the short term, led to a wave of imports of the capital goods that local industry could not supply. Whereas the end of World War II had allowed Argentine exports to rise from US$700 million to US$1.6 billion, Perón's changes led to skyrocketing imports from US$300 million to US$1.6 billion, and erased the surplus by 1948.

''So Perón wants to invade the jungle''

''Exactly!''

''Is he mad? We can afford a war with our economy. Money is the key to stabilize the country, we must pay our debts. It doesn't make sense, the general is commiting a mistake.''

''Be quiet Pistarini, our leader is not malade. War is a big monster which has to be satisfied, if the plan is not successful I'll close my eyes and throw a silent scream with all my faith, trusting that there are stars beyond the black. I'll travel to Amambay waiting for my general orders. Take this, is a message from our correspondent in Lima. Without further ado, i leave, my best wishes to your family''

''Eh... Wait!''

Soria Conglomerate

I got out of property development in late 1939 and an opportunity came up in a flower shop where the owner was struggling. It had dropped 25-30% in sales year on year from 1938. Even so, it was still an OK business and just needed rebuilding/restructuring. So I started cost cutting, restructuring processes, negotiating with suppliers and all that good stuff. We went from a large year-end 1938 loss to a break-even in 1939 after the directors gave back all their salary to the company.

We trucked along for the first part of 1945 reasonably well. Then sales fell off a cliff this summer. On 31 October the bank suddenly pulled a temporary uplift in our overdraft with no notice. The manager had "forgotten" it was going to happen even though I had agreed an extension on it. I discovered it on the Monday after when I came in to work and saw my supplier payments had not gone through. What's even more bonkers is the decision to reinstate the overdraft had to go to the credit committee, the people who used to sign off figures over 100,000 CHF. But we are talking just 10k CHF here.

We drip-paid the suppliers during the week and finally got the overdraft restored Thursday morning and we finally got "normal" service Friday. So now our supplier relationships are compromised, and my book-keeper is in tears wondering if I'd meet payroll, I've had to run round calling bank/suppliers, lodging money twice a day to keep payments as normal as I could.

If the guy who pulled the trigger had even taken half a minute to understand the business, he would see their risk was low. But this week's goings-on have nearly killed my business. Turnover on Thursday to Saturday is normally our peak. We've watched our sales decline through October and November, but this Thursday sales nearly halved from September and are 25% down on last week.

If it does not turn next week I'm going to have to put staff on a three-day week, staff the shops with a skeleton and not pay all of the directors (there are three of us, two of them are paid monthly and we don't have money to pay them). We'd normally have a buzz in the run-up to Christmas and the Christmas stuff went into the shops this week. The staff hardly even noticed - they all see how quiet it is and they are scared. People are too afraid about what's around the corner to spend. And flowers are deemed a luxury so they are one of the first things that are cut back. I'm praying that the situation will solve quickly but I'm probably overly optimistic.

''I see you are in trouble, young lady''

''Who are you, spanische?''

''Your salvation''

Rome, Italy

It has been two years since the signing of the treaty that ended World War Two Italy has spent the whole year rebuilding the damaged country. A man come walking up to Alcide De Gasperi handing him a report on the restoration of Italy he reads it to him self.

To Whom it may concern

It has been one whole year since you order the restoration of the nation we have came to conclude that about 40% of the nation has been restored to its former glory the damage done by the allied forces was minimal. We expect that by the year 1949 the nation of Italy shall fully be restored to its former glory, we will be sure to keep you updated on the restoration project every month and have a map of every construction site in the country.

Gasperi puts the report on his desk and takes a seat behind it. There was a knock at his door and a man entered it was the Minister of Foreign Relations, Galeazzo Ciano. He took a seat next to Gasperi's desk and looked at him.

"How goes the restoration project?"

"It goes well about I just got the report about they predict that by the year 1949 the project shall be completed, but enough about that I am sure you are here to talk about something else."

"Noting gets by you sir, its about Germany.. They have become more of a Democratic nation such as the United States have a free election, and freedom of speech."

"Yes I know ever since the replacement of Adolf Hitler they have slowly been turning it is a sad thing indeed. There is nothing we can do about though they are still very powerful."

"Well yes but I am sure you heard about the rumors of the SS.."

"Of course I have, but those are just rumors"

"But what if they are not? Think about it if we can find some way to contact them we can replace the current German government with the SS and try to bring back the former Reich"

"Hmm... since the SS disbanded there is possibility that some of old SS have been hiding out in Italy they might have an idea where they are hiding at. I'll be sure to send some men to investigate throughout the nation for former SS."

"Well then I must be leaving then, I'll be sure to update you the moment we have any information about them."

15 miles northwest of Rome...

Camp Greenwich

One of the very few camps in Italy, but as result in order to have a force in Italy, it was well stocked. You could see from the outside. Tall sandbag walls with barbed bush running along the top. A guard tower ever twenty or so feet. Although most of them makeshift wood, the ones by the center fence that had only a light dirt road to connect it had full metal towers, with guards leaning aganst posts. One was letting himself slack off, smoking a cigarette while talking to the man in the post next over.

This was one of the few camps that had a airfield built in. Although not a huge one, it had about half a dozen or so planes with the SS logo. Next to the airfield was a well stocked supply house, and two rows of Panzers. About twelve in all. Most soldiers were doing their daily patrols on the walls of the camp. While others lounges around or watched the unwanted do daily chores that the soldiers could not be bothered with.

But what stood out the most. This camp had a direct line to Victstein's camp.

Fort Adonis
Northern Egypt

At a military base in Egypt, the Army was conducting a top-secret testing operation for a prototype armor suit that would, at least, ideally, grant the wearer limited protection from bullets and shrapnel that would inevitably be encountered on the field. One brave recruit volunteered to wear the armor as another soldier shot a Luger pistol at him. With some preparations, the operation was ready to begin. Sadly, it was for no real purpose, as the volunteer died anyway when he was shot.

But the military refused to consider the project over and it still resumed, trying to find a material strong enough to absorb low-velocity bullets.

The Emperor sits down and begins to compose a well worded letter.

Dearest Kingdom of Italy,
After the long perilous journey we have finally succeeded in our mission of our ever expanding empire. I would like to formally congratulate you on your defensive victories and being able to hold your own. Now, Down to business. I have several trading opportunities in which I would
like to offer to you. I have Several thousand pounds of sugar as well as Several tons of wood coming from my Vietnamese camps. Now I do not have trade with anyone outside of the Empire but we have been faithful friends in war as well as in person and It would honor me if you would like to trade with my port's in Vietnam. The contract will last until September of 1949 and a substantial amount of GDP increase will follow this. I am estimating a fair few million in profit alone. Please consider this with well mind and heart.

Your friend,
Emperor Takade Ashikaga

The emperor puts down his pen and reads it over before giving it the official seal and handing it off to his courier..

Peenemude

Imagine one A-8 with two A-3's attached to the sides

Inside a small 12 foot by 12 foot bunker in Peenemude, three men sat watching as technicians prepared the large rocket for launch, going over last second diagnostics. Inside the Bunker was the one and only Werhner Von Braun. All sorts of paperwork was being filled to the last minute, and at 9:30 AM the two booster rockets fired, elevating the rocket off the ground slightly before the main rocket kicked into effect, sending all three rockets flying upwards. On the ground men continued to watch as the Rocket began to tumble out of control, just 20 seconds into its flight one booster snapped off incorrectly while the other one continued firing, creating a giant fireball as the propellent from booster one burned through the side of the main rocket, causing a huge explosion in the propellant that could be seen from many kilometers around. The flight was stamped Unsuccessful

"Furher Schmidt, Telegram!" said a young boy aged secretary as he poked his head in the room and sat the enclosed document on the presidents desk.
"Thank you Hans, now please deliver these documents." he said as Hans took a small stack of envelopes and folders and left the office. Schmidt turned his attention to the telegram.
FUHRER:
Traitorous elements of the nation have established military camps deep with in the wilderness of our nation, we at the Gestapo request permission to begin a investigation into the location of these camps. While we have no evidence that they have done anything illegal yet, it is worth investigating as backed by the Internal Security commission of the Bundesrat.

Fuhrer Schmidt took a wooden pen from a small box that was apart of his desk and circled a box labled "Support" and then scrawled his signature at on the signature line.

Fallowing this, two Kublewagens would depart from a Gestapo post in Hanover, and begin tracking the radio messages using an antenna and pointing it in different directions to find the strongest source of the messages. If they detected the location of the radio station more Gestapo officers would arrive and begin a investigation.

Rome, Italy

Ciano came walking inside the main office of the Italian government he headed towards Gasperi office with smile on his face he opened the door and took a seat again next to him.

"So did you find the rumor SS?"

"Yes we have." He hands Gasperi a map of Rome and spot circled 15 miles northwest of here. "They are located here, we have confirmed that this is the location of one of the SS base's we are unsure if it is their main one."

"Hmm.. I don't want any problems when we head there.. Send 20 soldiers to this base, and with this letter on intent it might put them at ease when they read it."

To whom this letter may concern,

This is Alcide De Gasperi the leader of Italy addressing this letter to whom ever might be in charge of the SS. It has come to our attention that the German Reich we see today is a depressing sight, when the true Führer was replaced it was then at that moment that the glorious Reich before was truly dead. This letter is an opportunity for your organization to seize back control of your nation, to take back what was once yours. The Italian government is willing to provide your organization with supplies if necessary and a base of operation inside my nation if you wish, all we ask in return is that once you have taken control of the government again is that we become ever lasting allies in this new world, we welcome your people in the city of Rome if you wish to discuss more.

Your Friend,
Alcide De Gasperi

Gasperi seals the letter with the official seal of the Italian government, and hands it off to Ciano.

"Give this to the courier and tell the men not to shoot if they are provoked."

Outside of the Emperor's palace, Kyoto

The Clock strikes 12 and hundreds of people are outside of the palace watching the military commander tell his speech.
"We have been spied upon!" He says, and the crowd gasps. "Somebody has set upon us to gain information, and whoever it was will feel this."
All countries, wide and far will read this event in awe, and they will know nobody takes advantage of the Japanese Empire.

The Officer then cuts open the mans throat with his Katana and hangs the man from his feet in the garden as the emperor watches with content and satisfaction.

"This will not, I repeat, Will not! Continue. When we find out what country has attempted to spy on us we will show neither them or their people mercy" He continues "They will all feel the pain of the rising sun!"

The Crowd roars in approval and the deed is done.
We have resolved to endure the unendurable and suffer what is unsufferable.
‘I am very sorry it is taking me so long to die’, he mumbled as he was arrested, ‘I await for the righteous judgment of history. I wished to commit suicide but sometimes that fails.’ Hideki Tojo, a week shy of his 64th birthday, was executed by hanging on 23 December 1948.

Washington D.C.

President Harry Truman paraded through the nation's capital with his usual security. The people cheered as he passed by them. He was already a popular Vice President in the United States during the early parts of World War II, but his popularity increased greatly after the war end, although he did lose lots of this support after the United States made a peace deal to end the war in Europe, without actually invading the German nation itself and lost to the Japanese after the war ended. Regardless, he was popular among the population and it was predicted that if an election were to take place within the next few months, Truman would win the election with at least 64% of the votes. Thanks to him, the United States is a world power, developed an atomic bomb, and is a force to be reckoned with.

Truman's convoy soon arrived at the white house after he finished the parade. He exited his car where he was welcomed by the guards and the staff inside the building. Walking into his office, he sat down at his desk, and leaned back in his chair before looking at the pile of papers on his desk. He picked them up and saw that the majority were reports on the different parts of the economy. Overall, the economy has grown by 4.6% from last year. While it wasn't as much as a growth from the previous year, it was still growing. Trade was also on the rise as the factories throughout the nation were producing many goods for the nation's trade partners. The agricultural sector also has experienced an increase in the amount of farm products grown on the farms. Thanks to the good amount of rain, the amount of food needed to feed the growing population surpassed the required amount.

Even with the amount of success being met in the economy, the United States still faced a few problems. One of the major ones being, Civil Rights for African Americans. While Truman himself was neutral on the subject, the African American population in the United States has been making a push to gain more equal rights in the nation. Truman knew that if he tried to pass such legislation through congress, it would most likely be voted against and he would lose the support that he had in the southern states, which he needed in order to win a reelection. He was, however, ready to make laws to that allowed blacks to gain some more equal rights, and possibly allow them to gain more wealth so they may be able to support themselves. Even so, a law like this would make him lose some support in the Southern States, regardless if it passed or not.

He also face another issue with housing. Ever since the end of World War II, many of the returning soldiers became married and began to have families. Due to this, the housing situation in cities like New York and Boston, became intolerable for the population. Truman, however, had a plan to combat this. He wanted to build large communities, called suburbs, outside of the crowded cities where families will be able to live away from the crowded cities. He knew that mainly whites would be able to afford such a luxury, but he had to combat the overcrowding issue, even if it did result with African Americans and other minorities in the country not being able to move out of the cities. He began writing the law that would surely pass through congress in order to solve this issue. He had already finished writing most of the law after a whole two weeks of constant rewriting. After three hours of including his finishing touches, he finally finished writing his law. Reading over it once more to make sure that everything was perfect, he got up from his seat, and headed out the door, and left the White House. Getting into his car once again, the convoy drove towards the Capital Building where Truman would purpose the law to Congress.
Uh, they're called green hearts.

You racist.

Women love him. Men otherwise...

He’s always seen with a lady friend by his side. And for the few occasions where he’s seen with men, he always seems to blend in into his surroundings but yet, he somehow stands out. There’s something about him that makes him the center of attraction even when he’s not.

Maybe it’s his dressing style. He accessorizes his wardrobe with the latest that fashion has to offer – he is in fashion and fashion is in him. He has always strived to be the best dressed man in the room and he invariably is. He’s well read, well opinionated and can strike an engaging conversation with anyone – in his own words, he is a cunning linguist and a master debater, in all glory to the pun.

Of course, he’s in love. But always, in and out of it. The one everlasting love relation he has is with himself and that is his only claim to fidelity. He has loved once, the way you and me love; but he was shattered with the way it went. Today’s his biggest heartbreak is his biggest learning and contrary to others’ perceptions of him, he actually respects women; it’s monogamy that he disrespects.

He has said ‘Hello’ more times than ‘Goodbye’ but unknown to the world around him, with each Goodbye, another part of his heart cracks. But he keeps that only to himself; to the world, he hides his pain, frustration and loneliness behind his charming smile. And to take his mind off it, he tries to makes his life as interesting as possible by being open minded, which in turn attracts more people to his life.

While men have hated and secretly admired his guts, women have called him a friend, a lover, a final fling, a heartbreaker, a bastard (the most common) and many, many more… They say that every woman wants to be with a womanizer, hoping that she will be his last.

He saved my company from bankruptcy, i owed my life to him, he offered me a job in the development department, his enterprise is creating a mass destruction weapon based in Einstein and Gauss theories. He is a jewish whose family was assasinated during the WWII, he is a survivour but he doesn't care.

Sweett Group, the Aim-listed building consultant, is keen to paint itself as a “modern, progressive company” in its 1946 annual report, as the Serious Fraud Office looks into alleged bribery at the company’s Middle East arm.

So forward-facing, in fact, that Derek Pitcher, the regional director with responsibility for the Middle East, has been given a £26,000 payrise to £192,000, on top of his two million shares in the property business, and £84,000-worth of share options.
He also crops up in the report’s “related party transactions” section, where it emerges that Sweett’s UK arm made £9,500-worth of transactions with The British Council of Shopping Centres, where Mr Pitcher is a director. “The transactions were on normal commercial terms,” say directors.

Whether the SFO will say the same when it concludes its Middle East probe into proposed payments for a hospital contract – on which Sweett "continues to co-operate fully" – remains to be seen.

It emerged yesterday that Lonmin’s finance chief has failed to hit shareholder return targets, meaning his performance-related award of more than 42,000 shares – worth around £95,000 – has “lapsed”. To be fair to Mr Scott, the South African miner has struggled to keep up with its platinum-producing peers due to strike action at its mines around Rustenburg. Let’s hope Johan Viljoen, the AngloGold Ashanti veteran newly installed as COO to rebuild Lonmin’s “operational credibility”, can dig the miner out of a hole.

On the subject of performance-related pay, the board of Zoopla are in line for yet another windfall, following the property portal’s near-£1bn IPO in June. CEO Alex Chesterman, finance chief Stephen Morana, commercial director Jon Notley and chief technology officer Simon Kain were this week awarded a combined 613,634 shares under a long-term incentive plan – as long as they deliver 50pc earnings per share growth and 50pc total shareholder return by October 14 1947.

Given Zoopla’s stock has soared 12.5pc since its “sensibly priced” 220p debut, that target seems safe as houses.

Also in the running are Nick Prettejohn, the former Lloyd’s of London chief, and ex-Tesco boss Sir Terry Leahy. Stay tuned.

SS Schutzstaffel Patrol Team

Camp Greenwich

A patrol team was walking the side of the road having casual conversation about recent camp activities, each was equipped with standard weaponry, while one lugged a radio on his back. They heard movement and their conversation was cut to a abrupt half as the lead man raised his fist signaling the rest of the soldiers to crouch down and scan around. When he peered he saw twenty or so Italian troops. He gave a sharp nod to his men, who shot up and aimed their machine guns at the at the Italians while screaming something in German. When one of the Italians was instant on giving one of them a letter, the lead man moved up and yanked it out of the Italians hand, ripping it open to read the paper.

His eyes shifted from the paper to the Italians, and motioned to the radio operator to approach, when he stood next to the man the lead man muttered something to the radio operator who then took the radio and began to tune the frequency, and then took the letter and began to dictate it to whoever was on the other end. The soldiers visibly became more relaxed but kept their rifles tight to their grip, staring at the Italians with cold dead eyes.

Camp Victory, Victsteins Camp

Entrance In Camp Victory

Camp Victory, was somewhere deep in the mountains of Germany. Few roads led to it, and even fewer were not completely hidden. It had it's own airfield, and was well stocked. The camp was surrounded by a large stone wall that blended somewhat in with the tree's, tipped with barbed wire with guards constantly patrolling the outer perimeter and top of the wall on a catwalk provided. Inside the camp were barracks, a mess hall, many a Panzer tanks, as well as Aircraft with a long strip of smooth land to serve as a runway. It even had a a bunker complex that led to several defense guns, and some interior quarters for officers, and a laboratory. It was truly a sight to behold.

Vicstein was sitting in his own personal office in the bunker, he was going over some field orders he would send out to the Commandants of the camps. His train of thought was interrupted when a young man opened the door. The headphones on his head was a clear sign he was a radio operator. "Sir a patrol at camp Himmler has found a group of Italians representing the Italian government. I've transcribed the letter they were carrying, that is best set for you. I have transport for you prepped if you wish to act on it. I could have you in Rome at a moments notice."Victstein gave a nod and waved him off. Taking the tanned paper that seemed to be hastily scribbled down he read the letter, and as he got down the message he let a little smirk leave his mouth. He set down the letter and picked up his Luger and stuffed it in his holster. Grabbing his hat he left the room and head out to his transport.

His transport was a dark black Volkswagen, with a Swastika hood ornament, it was being driven by soldier, who had a skull and crossbones insignia on his hat. He was a Reichsführer-SS, or the elite of the SS, once serving as the personal guard of the Führer. In front of the car, and behind it were black Half tracks with their SS logos brandished. Each filled max capacity with Reichsführer troops. In front was a jeep carrying a officer of the Reichsführer troops.

Much of the convoy ran unopposed as it stuck to only hidden roads covered by dense forestry and that had been previously checked. When it entered Rome, it stopped for nothing until it reached the Italian Palace. The Half Tracks did not come off as threatening as the soldiers were leaning back and the guns were down.

Victstein opened his door to the car and walked out and gazed at the capital waiting to see if someone would greet him.

Dearest Alcide De Gasperi,
I am overjoyed of this news and wish that trade start as soon as can be possible. I will be expecting a ship in the port of Vietnam next moth, as should you expect a ship of mine to you. What port do you prefer we trade to? We will acknowledge the response and commit immediately.

Buenos Aires, Argentina

In 1946 General Juan Perón became president; his populist ideology became known as peronism. His popular wife Eva Perón played a leading political role until her death in 1952. Perón established censorship by closing down 110 publications between 1943 and 1946. During Juan Perón's rule, the number of unionized workers and government programs increased. The peronist movement is founded.

The pillars of the Peronist ideal, known as the "three flags", are social justice, economic independence, and political sovereignty. Peronism can be described as a third position ideology, as it rejects the extremes of capitalism and communism. Peronism espouses corporatism and thus aims to mediate tensions between the classes of society, with the state responsible for negotiating compromise in conflicts between managers and workers. It is sometimes compared to Muammar Gaddafi's Green Book.

In december of 1947 the Law 16.459 was passed, establishing a minimum wage for the country. "Avoiding the exploitation of workers in those sectors in which an excess of workforce may exist", "Securing an adequate minimum wage" and "Improving the income of the poorest workers" were listed among the objectives of the project. With the same aims, the Law of Supplies was passed, destined to control prices of basic foodstuffs and setting minimum standards for pensions.

Law 16.462, also known as 'Oñativia Law' (in honor of Minister of Health Arturo Oñativia), was passed on August 28, 1947. It established a policy of price and quality controls for pharmaceuticals, freezing prices for patented medicines at the end of 1948, establishing limits to advertising expenditures and to money sent outside the country for royalties and related payments. The reglamentation of this law by the Decree 3042/65, also forced pharmaceutical corporations to present, to a judge, an analysis of the costs of their drugs and to formalize all their existing contracts.

Arthur Illia is the new president

In the economic sphere, Arturo Illia's govenrment was characterised by regulation of the public sector, a decrease of the public debt, and a considerable push for industrialization. The Syndicate of State Businesses was created, to achieve a more efficient control of the public sector. Among his brief presidency's most notable public works initiatives were the Villa Lugano housing development (in the poorest section of Buenos Aires) and El Chocón Dam, then the largest such project in Argentina.

National GDP had contracted by 2.4% in 1948; it expanded by 10.3% in 1949 and 9.1% in 1950. Industrial GDP had shrunk by 4.1% in 1948; it leapt by 18.9% in 1949 and 13.8% in 1950. The external debt was reduced from 3.4 billion dollars to 2.7 billion.

The median real wage grew by 9.6% during calendar 1949, alone, and had expanded by almost 25%, by the time of the World coup. Unemployment declined from 8.8% in 1947, to 5.2% on 1949.

Ironically, the Argentine middle class (who were generally as anxious as anyone to see President Illia leave office) benefited even more: auto sales leapt from 108,000 in 1947 to 192,000 in 1949 (a record at the time)
