Unknown Space, Unknown Location, Just Outside of the Laxus Union's Borders

Something is beginning to happen. Light in this area is distorting. Energy is beginning to be released from seemingly nothing. Suddenly, a smoke cloud forms...in space. A portal begins ripping open, a Void Portal. The Void Portal begins giving off so much energy, it'd be detectable for lightyears in the distance. Inside the Void Portal, the Imperium of Lorauk prepares an expedition team, as a void portal had not graced this Imperium with it's presence in a very long time. The Void Portal seemed to sustain itself, but the fleets of the Imperium didn't fly through yet. Energy shockwaves flowed out of the void portal as it remained open, which seemed to cause ripples in space. A very odd sight, indeed. The Void Portal remained open, continuously releasing this odd energy and creating these odd ripples in space around it.

The skies of Serivius were occupied by the sound and movement of Rotorcraft. Birotors, trirotors,quadrotors etc. It was lit up by the gleaming super towers and neon-lit aircraft which continued to support the lives of civilians, the economy, and entertainment aspect of the Federation. The star occupied night was peaceful in its glory and beauty. It brought unity and honor to all Laxons.
The ordinary activities of city-folk were suddenly interrupted by a massive shockwave which caused unpeaceful vibrations and violent movement of all objects within the city. Many of the aircraft had become uncontrollable for a few seconds. It wasnt a quake. Its was something beyond planetary. It was cosmic.

The skies of Serivius were occupied by the sound and movement of Rotorcraft. The Void Portal, Unknown Space

The Void Portal's ripples were the cause of this shake, as it had formed just outside of Laxon space. However, as it released it's energy in an increasing frequency, so did it the ripples. Which caused many shakes, and slight technological malfunctions. Suddenly, the largest burst of energy occurred as the Void Portal finished stabilizing enough to be traveled through. This large burst sent out a ripple that would cause massive earthequakes to the planets closest to it, and to planets farther away, it'd be a minor quake, but large-scale EMP from the Void Portal's energy release.

Imperium of Lorauk

The Imperium of Lorauk recognized the ripples sent out by the Void Portal meant it finished stabilizing. It's fleets prepared blackout mode, which would allow them to see in the brighter lighted atmosphere of the extradimensional area. The ships were headed for the portal's opening, about to cross through...

Stars shine, their light reaching endless distances throughout space. Worlds of many orbit and encircle these cosmic spheres. Laxon stellarships roam and travel between star systems and galaxies. One may question how the federation was able to manage and control an entire universe ,but with enough knowledge and resources, almost anything is possible.
Suddenly, it seemed the fabric of space had been shaken and torn. There was an unusual movement throughout the universe, even moving stellarships. Know one knew exactly what it was ,but they would know soon.

The Void Portal, since it had stabilized for travel, stopped rippling. But, it continued causing a massive easily detected energy spike. There was no doubting that this cosmic randomness was above the control of either side of what this portal was; nonetheless, ships from the Imperium from the Void were getting closer to the edge on their side.
They'd eventually be transported through this giant portal.

Void Portal, Unknown Space

After the fleet had finally transported through, it began establishing a perimeter in and around the Portal, to ensure counterinvasion or hostilities were impossible. The ships themselves, most of the warships, were pitch black in color, even at windows. They had a sleek red and eerie glow from their engines, but other than that, nothing was notable. Well, other than size. Most of the warships looked as though they could be used as flagships, and the three flagships looked as though they could be used as a super-cruiser, rather than a flagship. They were armed to the teeth, and seemed to be not exactly looking for anything. The Void Portal's energy spikes continued, eventually being detected by nearby stations and such. Chatter between the ships that came from this mighty Portal were hard to detect, however.

The Cosmic quakes continued, disturbing the daily lives of individuals.
Then, something was spotted. It was a slit or cut in the fabric of space and what came out of this were dark objects which resembled ships. Local Armed observation ships were called upon to observe.

Void Portal, Unknown Space

After the ships had gotten through, they began firing odd beams into the Void Portal, which seemed to stabilize it and make it's energy stabilize as well.
This would stop any cosmic quakes or ripples, and make the Void Portal's marvelous form visible to those in space and, well, able to see it. The ships sat there, and seemed to spot the new ships nearing them. They began signalling the Laxon ships with an odd frequency and message, which seemed to temporarily disturb communications.
Suddenly, a man would appear on their communications monitors. The man was wearing a black helmet with glowing red eyes, and the mouth of the helmet was closed.
"Attention, alien vessel. We are of the Imperium of Lorauk. We have come through this Void Portal to ensure no one enters our territory on the other side.", the man stated in a monotone, almost robotic voice. Then, he waited for a response.
