Where are you from?

I think there used to be a forum about this so I decided to bring this back.
I'm Irish and I'm 1/4 English (But English side are all Irish Immigrants except two people, one probably Scottish and one English :lol2:

) but have ancestors back three generations with surname from Scottish Borders. I look typically Irish 'cos I've light eyes and black hair.
There is also a poll (I know all Nationstatesers love polls! ) .
Where are you from?
Do you know about your ancestry?
Do you know facts from thousands of years ago about your people.
I know that the Irish, Welsh, Some Southern French and Some Scottish are actually Basques/Catalans who went a different direction. ( Fact: We're not Celts! Celts don't exist!)

Bahrain originally, spent a few years in Akka (Acre) in Palestine before moving to Amsterdam for school.

Also disappointed "Rest of Oceania" is an option and not "Middle East".

From Indiana, USA. Go back a few hundred years, and most of my ancestors hail from Sweden, Germany, Ireland, and France.

As for my ancestors thousands of years ago, no idea who they were as I've been unable to trace my ancestry back that far
