Nominations are over, and 32 candidates have reached the enormously high threshald needed (2 nominations) and will go on to face each other in competitions to match their roleplaying tallent.
For this purpose, I shall be using a standard knockout system (16 matches in the first round, 8 in the second etc) with a ballanced and fare draw to select who is in which contest. Their will be no corelation between who the winner of a particular first-round contest may meet in the second round.
Contests will begin on the 3rd of September, and will last for 3 days, to allow for sufficient access for voting between different timezones, so that no group has a higher chance than another. Contests will run 2 at a time, and the winner will progress into the next round.
So, without any further ado, the draw has been completed, the names have been entered into the name selecter, and they have been spat out in an order without repeats.
So therefore, I can confirm that the 1st round of the International Incidents Roleplayer of the Year competition of 2014 is as follows:
