Petrokovia Declares War on Pegraynaky (RPGotW only)

After an attack on a Petrokovian military camp that was set up along the border to enforce closing of said border (due to a global pandemic), Premier Daniel Petit spoke with the leader of Pegraynaky, requesting him to pull his forces out of Petrokovia. When the drunken leader refused, the Premier had an detachment of the military meet and stop the invasion force, where the leader of the Pegraynakyan forces detonated a bomb, wiping out everything in a 500 meter radius, and killing all troops present. Shortly after, Pegraynakyan bombers were detected heading to Petrokovia's capital of Krasnograd, as well as allied nations Soviet Chernarus, The Underground Movement, and Chilokver. During this time, the Premier ordered that all military units be mobilized and prepared near the border for a swift counter-strike if Pegraynaky were to attempt to go through with their plan. Petrokovian stations contacted the bombers, telling them to leave their airspace, or else they would be destroyed. After a refusal to respond, and the bombers' arrival within the specified firing line, they were all shot down, and a search and investigation was held. The investigation showed intent of the bombers to deploy biological weapons, specifically, an extremely virulent new form of a disease called Sacrovitosarciasis (SVS for short), which had recently caused a world-wide pandemic. This was the breaking point. The people of the USSP had had enough. They had asked nicely many times, and they had warned Pegraynaky many times. This was time for war.

The Premier of Petrokovia has ordered 150 Army divisions, 50 Air Force Wings, and 10 Marine Corps Divisions to invade Pegraynaky from the North, and requests that Chernarus and Chilokver allow Petrokovian forces to move through their countries to allow faster travel. Also, the USSP sends 100 Naval Squadrons, 15 Marine Corps Divisions, and 50 Air Force Wings to invade Pegraynaky from their coast, and blockade them.

The Security Level Indicator has now officially been set to Code Red.

OOC: Bit overkill, mate. I suggest reducing it to 3-5 million, including logistic personnel. I also highly recommend you TG Pegraynaky to inform him of the war, if you hadn't already

Chernarus has formally announced neutrality to the war; condemning Pegraynaky's hostile actions towards nations which it had previously had little to no hostilities with, Chernarus will permit Petrovokian military forces to cross through Chernarussian territory. However, as a officially recognized sovereign nation, only a certain amount - 100,000 - Petrovokian troops may be in Chernarus at one time.

Although it will not be deploying any combat troops, some 20,000 medics, doctors, unarmed soldiers will be sent to provide humanitarian aid to civilians soon to be in war zones. The Premier has also announced that civilians be given ample time to evacuate, as to minimize civilian casualties.

The Soviet People's Republic of Chernarus has opened its borders to refugees in anticipation of a bloody conflict. Hastily constructed "Refugee camps", where the refugees will live in, will be built. With somewhat decent living conditions and food, it will be similar to small towns.
Chernarus has also agreed to supply hundreds of trucks to aid with logistics for the Petrovokian troops. Observers will also be sent to the front lines when the battlesbstart

The UMU supports Petrokovia. They send Rangers, R-27s, E-35s, F-44s,, F-21s, SAVs, and P-31s to support them in battle. The UMU begins funding the USSP with UMU manufactured weapons,.giving them the Technological advantage. BIA troops are ordered to defend both UMU and USSP borders. The UMU requests permission to establish military outposts near USSP cities.

Dressed in a formal suit and tie, the timid representative looked directly at the Premier's annoyed face, which slowly turned into a tense smile

"How unfortunate. Chernarus has already declared neutrality in the conflict, as well as opening borders for refugees and sending humanitarian aid workers, unarmed soldiers, doctors, nurses, to hopefully minimize civilian casualties. I assume you already know?" He inquired in a serious tone

"Yes, sir, but there's more."
"Continue."
"Several minutes ago we've received jumbled reports of a massive Nationalist rebel offensive from their territory in Georgia. Chernarussian casualties are unknown and they've broken through our defensive lines with ease. Some reports say they've reached as far as Tsageri. Generals are appealing for you for advice, sir."
"How come I was not informed earlier?"
"Communication lines went down due to the offensive and rebel sabotage. We only just got through."
"Understood..deploy 4,500 additional troops to Akhemni. What is the situation in Talkhemi?"
"The remnants of FPA forces have surrendered; Talkhemi is fully under government control."
"Free those forces and send all unwounded personnel to the front lines. We must check the advance."

In the wake of the rebel offensive, pockets of Chernarussian troops, no matter how unorganized, stand firm against waves of rebel troops. With only around 3,000 Chernarussian troops against some 10-15,000 rebels, they are quickly making massive gains. However, in some places, troops have managed to even delay the advance for several crucial hours. As ordered by the Premier, some 4,500 troops, 250 tanks, and 100 aircraft will arrive in the course of a week. An additional 800 troops are being freed and sent to the front lines.

Due to the spreading of the X-Agent from the explosion of the aircraft, crews are created with the special purpose of cleansing the streets of the virus. While they are doing that, citizens are advised to still stay indoors. The Premier's Building is on full lock down, safe from the virus. The Premier warns their allies in Chernarus to do the same, and the PAF gives out what spare uniforms they have to allied forces working with them, which will protect them from all chemical and biological warfare. They are given different markings, with the flags of their countries on the shoulder pads instead of the usual red hammer and sickle emblem, in order to differentiate them from the PAF.

The Premier of Petrokovia sends the leader of Pegraynaky a message.
"We have said it once, we shall say it again, and we shall say it several times after-Your blatant lies do not fool us. That many aircraft leaving your hangars with such volatile weaponry can only mean one thing. And that one thing can only mean war between us. If you wish to step down and be prosecuted in a world-wide trial, we shall put our forces on hold. Until you agree to these terms, we shall keep marching into your country, fighting, until we reach and destroy your Capital and all military bases, or you surrender unconditionally."

In response to the use of biological weapons against Chernarus, the Premier has stated that it will be declaring war on Pegraynaky, despite its previous stance of neutrality. After a fresh wave of outrage by the public in response to this attack, the Premier issued a formal declaration of war against Pegraynaky.
"In response to this blatant, unjustified, and genocidal act, committed by the Pegraynakian military with the consent of the government, a state of war will now exist between the Soviet People's Republic of Chernarus and the Dictatorship of Pegraynaky. Despite our previous stance of neutrality in this conflict, the refusal to withdraw has forced us to act accordingly. This is a clear act with intent to kill tens and hundreds of thousands of people. In response to this violation of international law, we are afraid that we will be joining in the war to topple this psychotic dictator."
Almost immediately, 100,000 troops will be prepared for an assault on the western part of Pegraynaky. It will be using heavy artillery and aerial bombardments to break through the wall, as well as using light tanks and vehicles to retain the momentum of an offensive. Close air support will be vital.
With the current quarantine and curfew methods imposed due to the pandemic, the biological agent does not prove as effective as if it were without these methods. Face masks, already distributed to the population, will prove invaluable in containing the deadly agent.

Petrokovian heavy cannons open fire on the wall in the North, Petrokovian Battleships and Destroyers fire their cannons on the wall on the coast, Petrokovian Naval Invasion units start deploying onto the harbors (it would stand to reason that these would have to be open-you couldn't make a door big enough to block off all of those ships-it would break under the strain), and Air Groups make bombing runs from the North and East, all to take out the wall and nearby key cities. Under such intense fire, the wall is sure to crumble, and the trucks, tanks, and troops are sure to flood into the country when it happens.

Chernarus has requested an emergency wartime meeting with Petrovokia regarding the recent biological attacks but more specifically, the war. The meeting will take place in a classified location (no super special op assassinations taking place) and will begin in earnest.
The operation is codenamed FINAL BLOW; on paper, almost 110,000 troops, 350 aircraft, 600 tanks, and thousands of other (supply) trucks and vehicles will be participating. It is currently being prepared. The border will be strengthened by an additional 20,000 troops in anticipation of FINAL BLOW. Minor skirmishes have resulted from the declaration of war between Pegraynakian and Chernarussian forces.

In Akhemni, the rebel advance has been checked by the sheef determination of the Chernarussian and Loyalist forces. Reinforcements have arrived and have engaged with the rebels in numerous bloody engagements, each indecisive despite superior Chernarussian firepower and technology

I assume that the numbers you mentioned were just of your troops, as we still currently have 180 Army Divisions, 200 Naval Squadrons, 100 Air Force Wings, 30 Marine Corps Divisions, and our entire 10 Coast Guard Divisions still on stand by, in case they are needed, who can be added to our forces already at Pegraynaky's border walls. I [i]am[/] assuming from the title of this operation, you wish to go all out?"

OOC: If you remember the videophones in the Pokemon Centers in the anime, mine is kind of like that. The one in the Premier's office is Maroon, with a gold star and Silver hammer and sickle symbol on either side. His secretary, Nonna, has one on her desk that is black, with the Petrokovian National Flag on the back, the Krasnograd Flag on the left side, and the flag of the Communist Party of Petrokovia on the right side. The third image shows what the Premier's office looks like, and Nonna's desk that is outside of it.

It was a dark day for Chernarus. The gloomy morning had only depressed Kassinskaya's mood even more - his hopes for the situation to blow over had completely vanished. Dozens of soldiers had arrived at the outpost, shortly after he had heard the news, swelling the population to around one hundred. More buildings, including barracks, were being constructed. In addition to this, eight tanks along with their crews had arrived.

Better yet, he had been informed that he was to participate in an operation against Pegraynaky - however, due to his married status, he was not to take an active combat role, but rather, he was to help construct the medical centers and hospitals to treat the wounded. He was immensely grateful for this small fact - after all, he would not be fighting in the front lines. He had written a short letter to his wife explaining the situation. Now, he stood guard again at the same tower. This time, he could hear the bustling sounds of soldiers constructing an air field in the distance. He could see the shapes of human-like bodies, strewn across the fields. It disgusted him - it was the product of a small skirmish with the formidable Pegraynakian defenses, which had cost Chernarus 6 dead. He had participated in it - the brutality of even a small skirmish had changed him...

Some 400,000 additional troops are expected to be deployed to reinforce the border with Pegraynaky, and another 110,000 soldiers will be expected to partake in the offensive. Reserves are being called up. In addition to this, 75,000 troops will be expected to launch offensives on various parts of Pegraynaky's walls as to divert strength and confuse the enemy. The simultaneous offensives will most likely overwhelm the defenses; modern missile, aerial, and artillery bombardments render fortifications such as forts and walls almost virtually useless. However, the wall will most likely impede the momentum of the operation; thus, it is crucial that the combined bombardments are able to break through the walls in the fastest time possible.

Once multiple breached in the walls have been established, Chernarus plans to launch two massive offensives each consisting of 50,000 troops to exploit the breaches. Generals fully acknowledge that the longer the wall, the more stretched out the Pegraynakian forces will be - this disadvantage will be fully exploited in order to ensure the success of FINAL BLOW and Chernarussian operations and offensives in the war.

"Hello. I apologize for the rather sudden request for an audience with you, but we are in a somewhat urgent situation here. Given the foolhardy and reckless use of biological weapons, which they seem to be tossing around unaware of the consequences, we fear that the Pegraynakian tinpot dictator may resort to less humane and questionable tactics. I have issued gas masks to all my troops. However, this is not what we are hear to discuss - I would like to propose a massive Petrovokian assault via Chilokver, if they permit you to cross their territory, at the same time as a joint Chernarusso-Petrovokian assault via Chernarus. We will conduct operations and offensives involving nearly 300,000 troops. A massive number indeed. We will have many logistical problems later...but I am sure we will manage." The Premier waited a bit for this to sink in, before continuing, "Through this, we will effectively corner the Pegraynakian beast and ensured maximum success for our operations. An enemy, no matter how skilled or well equipped, cannot withstand repeated assaults coming in from different directions. I admit to the fact that it will be difficult to coordinate, but I'm sure our generals are up for the task."

It was the first war for Pegraynaky in a long time. Sure, there had been many genocides, terrorist acts and the like, but nothing like this. Years and years of preparation however, meant they were far from hopeless. All citizens between 18 and 60 immediately enlisted into the army as all the rest were given pistols, knives and even chainsaws to protect themselves. The non-combatants were escorted off to underground bunkers, where they would help imonitor and supply forces. All forces were moblized, hundreds of ships, thousands of aircraft and millions of land vehicles awaited the enemy, ready to carve them apart. The millions of mines that had been layed throughout the country and in its waters were armed, and all many of traps were prepared, which would prove a great hindrance to any enemy forces. It had been a long time, but they were ready.

OOC: You couldn't have every person 18 to 60 in the military. Where would your work force come from? You need people making the guns, uniforms, food, ammo, etc. I guess having a relatively well-armed civilian population is realistic, considering many countries (including the USSP) do, but having no workforce would mean you'd lose the war in a matter of weeks due to lack of economy, food, and supplies. Also, if you were to import food and ammo, 1. You couldn't do it for very long, with no supporting workforce for your economy, and 2. Who's going to give you anything? Most of the countries either seem to want to stay out of this, or fight you. This is exactly why I had you guys fill out the application, and why the "Military %" during peace and war was on there, because you can't have much more than 8% of your population in the military without your economy taking a huge blow.

TO AVOID CONFUSION-
OPERATION FINAL BLOW - The preemptive assault in which the brunt of the full on offensive of Pegraynaky. 3 separate armies of 30-40,000 troops will be working closely. Artillery, missiles, etc. will breach three sections of the walls as the troop rush the breaches.

THE SECOND, THIRD, AND FOURTH OFFENSIVES -
After the first stage of FINAL BLOW, three offensives will be launched against what is present day Xinjiang. This is to divert military strength and resources

THE FIFTH AND SIXTH OFFENSIVES -
After the three previous offensives, these will be launched each in different placed. The sixth will be launched around the area of FINAL BLOW, whilst the fifth will be launched near where the 3 offensives were launched. This is to reinforce the already massive offensive operations

Over the course of one month, supplies, including food and water, will be prepared for the offensives. Heavy artillery, hundreds of aircraft and tanks, vehicles, are being moved up to the front in anticipation of the grand scheme, named War Plan RAVEN.

On the front lines, Petrokovian tank crews attach mine sweeping devices onto the fronts of their tanks and trucks in preparation to advance. As soon as the broke through, they met the enemy forces. The tanks drove in and fired, and ran over any enemy infantry in their path. The Ordnance trucks, firing consecutively, unleashed a massive wall of 7,200 Katyusha Rockets and 1,500 Excalibur Missiles targeted at enemy tanks, bunkers, buildings, trucks, and large groups of infantry, while opening fire 4,800 small anti-aircraft missiles.
The YARS Ballistic missile trucks launched their 250 kT warheads, aiming at enemy bunkers, buildings, and in general, any large group of enemies. The massive amount of fighters kept enemy aircraft at bay and protected the USSP's bombers, who targeted enemy forces on the ground below. Anti aircraft and Anti tank guns started firing. The massive Petrokovian Infantry, fueled by anger, disgust, and entire lack of fear, attached bayonets to their AK-47s and charged inward-shooting and stabbing. They also used their extensive martial arts training. When it came to hand to hand combat, Petrokovian troops fought fiercely, putting enemy troops in holds and breaking their limbs and joints, punching, force palming, and kicking enemies. Occasionally, you could see a Petrokovian troop headbutt an enemy troop that may have put him in a hold. This is where the metal gas masks worn by the PAF helped a lot, as many times, those headbutted would suffer from shattered eye sockets and noses, and concussions. This quickly turned out to be a grueling fight for both sides, but the Petrokovians had a sense of rage, purpose, and determination like no other.

The Battle on the coast is currently at a stalemate both in the air and in the sea, with the Naval invasion forces waiting for an break in the enemy defenses before invading.

Scratch that. Were going launch a beach assault.
