UWCFA Gold Cup III Signup Thread (Closed - World Changers)

Time for the third edition of the UWCFA Gold Cup, the regional association football (soccer) championship for the region of World Changers. Will Esvorpita defend their title? Will Callistea reclaim the title? Will the Free Republics finally win a Gold Cup? Or will somebody else win the Cup this time around?

1) This tournament is exclusively for nations located within World Changers. Nations located outside of World Changers are ineligible to participate.

2) If you are currently located outside of World Changers, you can still enter, if you move your nation into World Changers.

3) Any participating nation that leaves World Changers mid-tournament will forfeit all of their matches, including retroactive forfeits, as necessary.

4) Puppet nations must be declared and there is a limit of 1 puppet per person.

5) Joint teams, consisting of players from 2 or more nations located in World Changers, are allowed.

6) The use of rankings in this edition of the Gold Cup is at the discretion of the host.

7) This edition of the Gold Cup will feature an open host bidding process. Any nation within World Changers may submit a host bid. Host bids lacking the relevant OOC details will be deemed invalid.

Who are you?

Hey, this is the user behind Super-Llamaland and Miklandia.

Miklandia. That seems familiar...so does that logo layout...

Lots, the most relevant being a co-hosting of the WBC 30 with New Wolfopolis.

So...what's your format?

Two groups with a single-round-robin. Group winners and runners-up qualify to the semifinals. The semifinals will be slightly unconventional, with a two-legged playoff system.

NSFS 3.0.1, style modifiers cranked up to full, no rankings, roster worth two points of RP bonus.

Stadia will be privately constructed in Northern Chakigolao, which is better than the South in that it is habitable, and parts of neighboring Miklandia and Tree Death.

By a vote of 3 votes for to no votes for reopening host bidding, Anarchic Chakigolao has been elected host of the 3rd Gold Cup. Timing and numbers are turned over to the host.

I have also updated the signup list.

I have elected to enter Free Republics under the "Holy Republican Empire" name rather than entering 2 different teams each purporting to represent the same nation. If the host deems it necessary, Acedonia can be included as a puppet of mine for numbers purposes.
