So i've been around on nationstates since about 2006 under various nations and rp personas. i've done MT, FanT, And FT in the II portion of this website. But I CANT keep my attention with any one thing. Its a vicious cycle with me, I become enveloped in an RP idea, a story, nation, character, etc and for months will work on factbooks, backstories, art, and so on an so fourth. I even created a whole RP group (Ceaden, and Lost Age) but no matter what I do, no matter what it is I cant keep with it, my passion for the thing I'm in to at the given time fizzles out and I become bored, and often times I become stressed because I feel like I fell down the same hole again after I put a huge amount of effort into it. BUT I love NS so much that I always come back again and again, and again. The cycle continues, and I don't know how to just stick with it.
I love NS, I love it more than video games or miniatures because it makes me think. I feel like I became better and maybe even learned something (technology, history, geography, etc) so what do I do? Is there anyone else who shares this affliction? I'd love to know if I'm not the only one.
