What is a paranormal moment you have had? What is a scary moment that has happened when you thought something paranormal was going on?

For me its every time I go in my basement at night. It always seems as something is always following and watching you. And sometimes i just get the urge to run. I know I am not the only one who feels this way my mom, sister, friend and cousin say they feel the same way. It just feels like something is down there.

I had a nightmare where my friend and I were Spanish Conquistadors in the jungles of South American, when we were attacked by the alien from Alien. It killed us one by one. As it was about to kill me, the other guy who was still alive killed it by throwing a school desk at it.

I won't venture so far as to call my experience paranormal but it was definitely weird.

A few years ago, while visiting mom from university, a few friends of mine and myself, went to have a few glasses of cider at a local ''sidreria'' in Oviedo. I didn't live far from the old town (Casco antiguo) so we walked over there. After a few glasses too many, at least for me, we called it a night and took the same route to my house. We were passing by a few residential buildings, it was dark, but manageable. At one point in this trek I decided to look up, the night was actually quite nice. Warm, but not painfully humid. So, I looked up and I saw what looked like a shrouded figure staring down on us from one rooftop. It was there an instant, I looked down a bit puzzled, but as soon as I took another look, it was gone just as quickly.

Mind you, I was rather intoxicated so I could've imagined it.

Funny this came up.

My father recently stayed at a haunted hotel by accident. Lots of the other hotels were totally overbooked because of a convention and he had nowhere to stay except the haunted one, which he didn't know was haunted until the clerk told him it was. That night, he didn't sleep at all because the TV kept turning on after he'd turned it off, and he kept waking up because he felt someone or something touching him, blowing on him.

The next day, he took a tour, and learned the ghost was either an old lady or a black chef.

I said it was probably the black chef creeping on him and we all yucked it up.

Wouldn't it be really easy to make my dad think it was ghosts? The lady down the hall was probably just turning the TV on and off on purpose or on accident or something.
