Welcome to Linden County, Georgia. A place full of racists, rednecks, insane folk, or any combination of the three. The county seat and only real city in the county is Lebanon, with a population of 8,000. The county has a population of 13,000, and has a primarily agriculture driven economy. Well, that isn't accounting for the drug trade, smuggling rackets, and other illegal activities that result in a good chunk of the money coming into the region. How does this affect you, you may be asking; well, your job is to enforce the law in this shit hole. That’s right, you’re a trooper with the Georgia State Patrol, in charge of policing the highways and backing up the local police and sheriff’s departments when they need it. You have an awesome job; you basically get paid to drive around until someone screws up. The problem is, the local cops hate you for some reason. No one really knows why, but the Sheriff’s Department and Lebanon Police Department do everything in their power to make your job as hard as possible, even going as far as starting a couple of fist fights with the state troopers. Due to this, the entire post is on thin ice. But that doesn't stop you from pranking the crap out of any motorist unfortunate enough to drive into your stretch of Interstate 85.
If you can’t tell already, this RP is based off of the basic concept of the greatest film ever written, Super Troopers. The basic concept is that you will be an inept state trooper in a rural area with an ongoing rivalry with the local police department. Your character will be a Georgia State Trooper, meaning that to have been hired, your character must be at least 21 years old, not have (gotten caught) using drugs within 10 years, been convicted of a felony, or been disqualified 3 separate times when applying. Otherwise, feel fee to be creative with characters and have fun.
