"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters. The silence is your answer."
IC
As the sun sets on the massive Citadel, you make your way to the Flux nightclub. The lights are low and the bass shakes the floor. You see a new sight since the last time you were here. Now, a spare few humans share the space with turians, asari, salarians and more. The year is 2165. Humans have been granted an embassy on the Citadel, despite the First Contact War on the turians just under a decade ago. Some say they're the council's new pet, some say they've cheated their way in, others believe that they simply have earned their place just as the others have. The council stays out of the politics of it.
Whatever grudges each species may be harboring towards another, no one can survive alone.
Hello! Firstly I'd like to thank you for your interest here. Secondly, I'd like to introduce this rp. This story takes place just as humans gain their embassy on the citadel, with a female turian biotic looking to gather a crew for her ship. According to the lore, turian biotics are far and few between. The handful that do exist receive implants and amps, and are used in key missions and crews. Turians and humans typically still hold grudges against one another from the war, but one of the main goals of this storyline is the overcoming of adversity through unity and coordination. I'll only be accepting around 1-2 of each species and class, so please check the accepted list before applying! Thank you, and I really hope you and I can work together.
The Races
If you don't see any one race on this list, it is now unusable. This is to maintain variety.
Salarian: The second species to join the Citadel, the salarians are warm-blooded amphibians native to the planet Sur'Kesh. Salarians possess a hyperactive metabolism; they think fast, talk fast, and move fast.
Quarian: The quarians are a nomadic species of humanoid aliens known for their skills with technology and synthetic intelligence. Since their homeworld Rannoch was conquered, the quarians live aboard the Migrant Fleet, a huge collection of starships that travel as a single fleet.
Drell: The drell are a reptile-like race that were rescued from their dying homeworld by the hanar following first contact between the two. Since then, the drell have remained loyal to the hanar for their camaraderie and have fit comfortably into galactic civilization.
Krogan: The krogan are a species of large reptilian bipeds native to the planet Tuchanka, a world known for its harsh environments, scarce resources, and overabundance of vicious predators. Unfortunately, as krogan society became more technologically advanced, so did their weaponry. The end result is that they destroyed their homeworld in a nuclear war that reduced their race into primitive warring tribes.
The Classes
If you do not see any one certain class on this list, then it is unusable. This is to maintain variety.
Soldier: Soldiers are the full spectrum warrior of the squad whose talents focus on improving durability and damage. They may specialize in any weapon they choose and are the only class to have access to the assault rifle talent. Soldiers begin with medium armor and are also the only class that may upgrade to heavy armor. Their major weaknesses are their complete lack of biotic and tech abilities, relying on squadmates to pick up the slack in those areas.
Engineer: Engineers possess all tech abilities, but can only equip light armor and may gain specialist training with pistols as well. They possess no biotic skills. Tech skills focus on crippling and damaging the enemy; tech proximity mine damage is, admittedly, often viewed as a secondary effect, but should not be discounted. Engineers also possess the First Aid and Medicine talents, making their healing very effective.
Only one to two of each race and class will be accepted. The accepted list and app will be in the following post.
