Condemn the Order of Enlightened Nations

[IFA Resolution Number: 3]

ARTICLE ONE; DEFINITIONS -

Highest Order - In which every possible area is either exploited, used, destroyed, etc...

Minor Offense - The act in which either:

a. Said nation does not know of said law, then breaks said law.

b. Said Nation accidentally breaks said law.

c. Said nation breaks said law slightly.

Major Offense - The act in which either:

a. Said nation breaks said law moderately.

b. Said nation breaks said law highly.

ARTICLE TWO; AREA OF AFFECT - Every nation of the IFA must follow the rules laid down by this bill, while only exceptions being observers.

ARTICLE THREE; REASONS - This bill lists the current reasons of the Condemnation of the Order of Enlightened Nations below:

I. The Order of Enlightened Nations is around 75% fascist, while making up the core of the alliance, along with the main leadership.

II. The Order of Enlightened Nations is known to be sexist, even during their recent conference of baring the requirement of no women having rights, most members still follow it.

III. The Order of Enlightened Nations is an alliance that is built off of anti-democratic values, countering the IFA's beliefs.

IV. The Order of Enlightened Nations had promoted the genocide of Convist Union supporters in their alliance, therefor supporting an international crime.

V. The Order of Enlightened Nations had almost nuked some member's/member's allies, such as Yul, The United Motherland, and Valaran.

VI. The Order of Enlightened Nations had sent a spy named Krastadt into the IFA, and has been caught openly discussing sending spies to the neutral/allied United Left and Convist Union.

VII. The Order of Enlightened Nations had supported kidnapping a princess from Yul on the day of their marriage, hence supporting the kidnapping of an member's allies' leader.

IIX. The Order of Enlightened Nations has officially stated itself to be against major power players such as the IFA, UL, and the CU.
ARTICLE FOUR; EFFECTS -

This bill effectively condemns the Order of Enlightened Nations, while in doing so forcing a trade embargo and economic sanctions onto their alliance for members that have such things. Economic Sanctions and Trade Embargo's with these members must go to the highest order.

ARTICLE FIVE; PUNISHMENT -

Those who do not subject to this law is punished by either;

a. A Minor Offense can lead to suspension for an entire week, temporary economic sanctions, or loss of access to the IFA Rapid Defense Force.

b. A Major Offense will directly lead to removal from the IFA and/or declared an enemy to the IFA.

The IFA council has the choice of what category of the law break falls under. Hence, if it was a council member, the council member is suspended from said vote.

Before casting a decision, Alex Helghan would like to know whether humanitarian aid under special circumstances to any OEN member would count as an infraction,. This was as the Valaran Empire sent aid to Jazakstan after that nation was nuked, and this might count as breaching the treaty (depending on your interpretation of it).

It is with great honor that I address you here today. These are turbulent times that we live in. The world is as dangerous of a place as ever, and it is up to us, the International Freedom Alliance, to safeguard the security of our members, and to beat back the ever-present threat of tyranny. It is for this reason that the government of the United States of Pilotto, and the USP Department of Defense, have decided to allocate more resources to the International Freedom Alliance's Rapid Response Force. Effective immediately, the United States of Pilotto Marine Corps is increasing its contribution to 3 USP Marine Corps infantry divisions consisting of 15,000 marines each, 100 AAVP-7A1 amphibious assault vehicles, and 25 M2A3 Bradly armored fighting vehicles. The USP Army is contributing 2 armored divisions consisting of 58 M1A2 Abrams tanks each, 12 MH-47G Chinook helicopters, and 30 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters, and 20 Patriot missile batteries. The USP Air Force is also tripling its current IFA contribution to 60 F-22's, 60 F-15E's, 60 F-16E's, and 36 B-2's. The Air Force is also contributing 12 C-17B transport craft.

Also, I would like to inform you that, on behalf of the government of the United States of Pilotto, I vote aye to the current resolution.

Representative James Resim of The United Regions votes Nay on IFA resolution #4, due to conflicts of interest, as of now. However we would like to see as previously mentioned a coalition of alliances between the IFA and WC and possibly the CLA, and others.

Resolution Number: 4

This proposal would form a multi-alliance/organizational political party to serve as a coalition of WA delegates and members in the World Assembly. The party's main purpose would serve the core purpose of any political party in allying and pulling support together to further mutual interest. In particular the mutual interests and goals of this party would be to;

-See proposals made by party members be approved by WADs aligned in this party, as well as those allied with it along with any proposals that would be deemed to serve the interests of the party members.
-cast votes in favor of approved proposals to see them become resolutions.

The prerequisite for membership would require a nationstate already be a member of any alliance organization already taking part in the party. The party will be initially formed between the International Freedom Alliance and The United Left but would be open to having more alliances/organizations join in the future.

"We believe that humanitarian aid in the time of humanitarian disasters is appropriate and won't affect the sanctions regime, given the aid doesn't include any military supplies and is strictly humanitarian in nature. "

The Bratislavian Representative responds, "We applaud this generous contribution by Pilotto and believe such contributions by fellow IFA members are making IFA a strong alliance every day. "

Resolution 3 passes 11-0-2. The resolution to condemn the Order of Enlightened Nations now will take effect for all IFA members. We will now debate Resolution 4, brought forth by the Republic of Thalsyer.

In regards to resolution 4, the Bratislavian representative votes NAY. The Republic of Bratislav does not see the United Left as ideologically compatible enough to form such a close alliance. We stress that the IFA should forge such close links with the Western Coalition which shares much more ideologically close elements. Our ideal and belief in economic freedom runs directly against the support of Marxism by the United Left in which economic freedom is greatly inhibited. As a member and founder of the International Freedom Alliance, we believe greatly in the perseverance of freedom in our society in both governance, economy and civil rights. We hope that fellow IFA members will reject this resolution as it does not stand in our immediate interests nor ideological parameters.

The Parliamentary Republic of Thalsyer votes AYE on resolution number 4. The resolution itself calls for the formation of a loose political coalition with our friends in the United Left. A coalition which would stand to greatly benefit the interests of nations in the International Freedom Alliance and the United Left with membership in the World Assembly through political cooperation which would make the widely known & difficult process of passing/authoring any World Assembly resolution(s)/repeal(s) a less difficult task. It pays to have friends, and while those friends may/may not share the IFA's immediate interests or ideological parameters we can be certain that this resolution WILL benefit our common interests in the World Assembly. The idea of holding greater influence in the World Assembly should have it's own allure for anyone voting on this resolution that would be enough of a incentive to vote in favor along with me.

My government has exchanged communications with a few governments of the United Left. Some of their member nations are favorable towards this idea already. Using a statement from the Bratislav delegation, we can build upon this and incorporate the Western Coalition and it's WA members into the political party as well. Several of our IFA members are also members of the United Left and/or it's smaller sibling the Convist Union. We are on good terms with the United Left at the moment, and we have little in the way of bad history between our organization and theirs. At the moment, we even share a common foe.[eg:our mutual dislike of the Order of Enlightened Nations(OEN)]

This moment in time is a great opportunity to form this pact with the United Left. We should not throw it away over petty politics.

Article 2c of WA resolution no. 209 clarifies that you may suspend your responsibilities "to protect vital national security interests during serious international disputes or times of war". The Order of Enlightened nations declared a state of hostility against all members of the International Freedom Alliance, United Left and the Convist Union. This technically constitutes a threat to your nation's vital national security interest and places your country in a indirect state of war against the other countries of the OEN.

Under the circumstances, I recommend your country suspend it's responsibilities and enact Economic Sanctions and Trade Embargoes as required by Articles four and two in Resolution 3 of the IFA. The only exception to Article Four is observers.

In reply to the objections raised by our friends in Thalyser - the Nerod Empire (a member nation of OEN) is currently working with Ausitoria on a peacekeeping operation, is the Minister responsible for a free trade zone of which Ausitoria is president, is a Minister within the Ausitorian ministry in the Panessos Government, is part of a multinational combined fleet with us, leads one of our political party in the Panessos Senate, and is in coalition with another of our political parties in the same Senate, enjoys extensive trade with us, has signed multiple treaties with us on the subject, and is closely co-operating with us on many matters of peace and security within Hemithea.

Consequently our legal experts do not think it is arguable that the Nerod Empire constitutes any sort of threat to our national security interests whatsoever, vital or non-vital. For that matter, we do not presently consider that any of the OEN members constitute a credible threat, although most OEN members are instead covered by the human rights abuses clause, which allows us to suspend obligations under WA resolution no. 209.

Nevertheless, our quarrel is only with the OEN as a whole, and with some member nations within it, and subsequently, since we cannot break the WA Resolution in question, we still cannot immediately fully implement IFA resolution no. 3.

Regarding Resolution 4, Ciejvel Naredue vote Nay. The NFF doesn't hold any diplomatic ties to the United Left and cannot see why this would be fruitful.
