Global World Cities [Closed]

Postby Britonisea » Sun May 25, 2014 8:00 am

GLOBAL WORLD CITIES

We are closed at 18:00 at 2nd of October. I will accept late ones by 10 minutes.
-Globalworldcities.com is an organisation that prooves the best cities from the bad cities. You will take a survey and if you get the results that we want, your city could become a global city of the Nationstates World. We are a group of cities that try to make life better for the people of the world.

Firstly, Global World Cities will only allow 2 cities from each nations at most, if there is any more than that, you can go to Britonisea type a letter asking why this city should have a chance of surveying.

Secondly, I should think you should think before doing this survey because it is going to be quite short but it is going to be hard and it will be judge very hardly. You will be lucky if you are picked. You cannot sign 2 cities at once but at different times. This survey does include a lot of writing so get your thinking caps on. As soon as 10 global cities are established, there will be a HQ in Telm City which will also be going through a process.

Lastly, only do this if you think your city is eligible. The area and the population of the city is the actual city please. For example, I do not want New York State but New York City. Thanks

IF YOUR SURVEY IS NOT FILLED OUT, YOUR SURVEY WILL BE IGNORED...

The more you fill out, the more likely your city is a global city. Good Luck! More info will be on this page soon. Since there has been a lot of surveys done, we are going to have a system. There will be 30 global cities and 50 Semi-Global cities. If your city is good enough to be a global world city, and the global world city places are full, your city will repleace a city who we feel can't handle being such a global city and the city who cannot handle will replace a city in The semi-global world cities. We take GWC very importantly.

GLOBAL WORLD CITIES CONFIRMATION

To The City of Kasa,

After looking at your survey, Telm City has decided whether to make your city a global city. It was not a hard decision. We looked at all of your categories. We will go through them and at the end, you will see if The City of Kasa is an official Global City.

Overview: Firstly, we know Lolmz quite well and we have notice that your nation is very active and running so we trust that. In the urban area, there is a staggering population of 25 million plus people which is a healthy city. But we are worried on how good you can supply this much people. The average income is at a suitable rate and it is just over the target of 36,000 USD. The area of the city is okay but this means that there is 76,219 people per square mile which is very dense and over our target which is 20,000 people per square mile. This also makes thing worse for Transport
Transport: With the high population density, you need a lot of buses and you do. Does a bus arrive every 6 minutes? Because that is very fast for the amount of buses. Though this means that there is about 20 buses per square mile which is very spread out and it is lower (Which is better) than our target out 40 buses per square mile. The trains seem fine to me, and they're frequent, the roads are not chipping because they are smooth. Your city has 2 airport which is our target. We would like more information about them. Where are they located in your city? Plus, they are both international and I think Britonisea Airways comes to one.
Additional Info: Finally, Education and roads are important but I think that you could replace the roads with healthcare or culture such as the arts. The weather is beautiful. And finally your city is up to date with all the high technological things. Your city is organised and that is what we like.

This all shows that your city, could be improved, but a great place to live and because of this, your survey has been ACCEPTED and THE CITY OF KASA is the first ever Global City.
Thanks, and please take another survey for another city.

[Telm City is a great city in the south of Britonisea]

Thanks. Your survey will be responded by the end of the week.

GLOBAL WORLD CITIES CONFIRMATION

To Telm City;

Telm City will be assessing Telm City. Anyway...
Overview: We all know Britonisea is awsome and we know that Telm City is the capital of our country. The population is healthy with 21 million people. The average income is a little bit lower than we wanted. But it can manage. The area of the city is huge and this means that per square mile, there is 35,117 people. Which is good as it is a few thousands above the target. This could mean great things for the transport.
Transport: In Telm City, there is 2000 buses which calculates to 3 buses per square mile and this is very bad. Telm City needs to get more hydrogen buses on the road to make things easier. But it is hard to understand why these buses are very regular. These buses are very regular, in fact every 4 minutes could sum up the 3 buses per square mile problem. The train lines are fine and they are more fluent than the buses. There are 2 airports which is what we would like. The roads are smooth and it is easy to get to The airports.
Additional Info: The highest expenditure in Telm City is Food and drink and this is very good and very familiar because Telm City is know for a very colourful kitchen. The temperature varies but it can hold and it does not seem to be very cold during the winters. Looking at the city, it only rains every 4 years. Which is a very scary phenomenon.The city is very developed and the technology is at a year of 2016. There is not flying cars yet, but there are some nice useful gadgets. The City is very organised which is what we like.

The answer is obvious on whether the city is a global city. Your survey has been ACCEPTED. The City of Telm is official a Global City.

GLOBAL WORLD CITIES CONFIRMATION

To Sovngarde;

We had to think about this survey for The global city and we called people from Britonisea who are Sovngarde to tell us how your city is. That and the following made our decision final.

OVERVIEW: There is nothing wrong with your nation. The population is 1.5 million but this is not a strong population but this does not mean this city does not have a chance. The average income is very high and I think this is a very good factor to this survey. Finally the city is 2,000 sq km (772 sq mile). This means that 1,943 people are in, on average, a square mile. This is very under average. The average is 20,000 people per square mile.
TRANSPORTATION: There is only 700 buses and this means that there is about 1 bus per square mile which is lower than the minimum. It is absolutely low. But due to the amount of people in this city, It is allowable. The buses, though, need to be a little more frequent because at least 700 thousand people are going to work in your city in the space of 3 hours and you are telling us that only 18 buses per rush hour. You NEED to up the rate. There is 12 line which is great and it needs to be more frequent. The Britonish men said they wish that the trains were more frequent but they are clean. There are 2 airports, which is the right amount of airports for a city. Especially of your population. The roads are smooth which is good and I can take one of your buses to the airport quite easily.
Additional Info: The Health and Education in your city is very important and it is good that you have this as your highest expenditure. Your city is a happy place with warm weather in the summer and wet weather to wash away the heat in the winter... Your city is up to date with the technology and the year it is in. Finally, your city is organised which is all we want in a fine city.

And for that reason, and others, your survey is ACCEPTED, and this means The City of Sovngarde is an official Global World City. Thougn your city is in danger of other nation taking over. So please, update what we told you. Thanks.

GLOBAL WORLD CITIES CONFIRMATION

To The City of Murin;

We are a little conserned about your survey. We also called a few people from Britonisea who live in Murin. That and the below made our final decision.

OVERVIEW: Like every country, your nation is fine. In the urban city there is 5 million people in Murin. The average income is sad. $1,200 is way below the target of $36,000 USD. The area of the city is 8,000 km. This means that there is 1620 people per square mile. This is okay. Compared to our target of 20,000 per square mile.
TRANSPORTATION: 50,000 buses it a very good amount of buses, but I think it is too much. This means that there is 16 buses per square mile which is very good. The buses are not as frequent as we want it to be. The trains are not frequent either which isn't good at all. There are 2 airports in your city which is great and it meets our target. The airports are easy to get to and the roads are smooth which is a good thing.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Your highest expenditure is Tourism and Healthcare. You spend a lot of money on how good your city is? This is a little bit conserning. Though different cities have different choices. That is fine. The people of your city seem to be happy but the weather does not sound nice. Wet and warm doesn't feel nice. Your city is split in to different parts which is what we like. You are up to date which is even better.

Finally, the money situation is very bad and it dampened the mood of your survey. Everything else was fine. But 1200 USD is not good. The highest expenditure should be something else and wet and warm weather does not go well. I like your city, but I do not think this city can survive. For this matter, your survey is DENIED. Please come back to re do your survey. Wait at least 10 days. The second finally is that you will be put as an semi-global city. This could move up anytime. Thank-you.

[INFO HERE]

The city of Emeros is the capital of the Vannish Empire. It is a modern city with the population spread out over a large area. The use of biofuels keeps the air and water cleaner. A lot of shipping and fishing is still done by wooden ships as the city is the chief port in the empire. It is located in a wintry region and the people are hardy. It does not get very warm, not even in the summer. The people like this however and for the region, the summers are beautiful. The transportation system is fast and efficient and many people travel by bikes. Because of the fairly empty roads, emergency services, such as police and firefighters, have a very rapid response time. At the airports, you will find airships which run on biofuels for transportation. They are less noisy than airplanes and are cleaner for the skies. They also save money on fuel costs as it is cheaper to grow the biofuels than to pay for oil and gasoline. Much of the power comes from green energy. There are expansive wind farms to the north as well as hydroelectric power from a dam located miles away. The people enjoy sports and auto racing in facilities located in the middle of the rural outskirts of the town.

Abury is the capital of the Kangaroo Republic. Its history of settlement began back as early as the 3rd century AD, when the area along the river A, was populated by several small hamlets, by then controlled by the Pilbara dynasty. The region was historically insignificant and agricultural until way later in the 17th century. Abury was founded by colonialists, and became the administrative capital for British Macropodia. Thenceforth, the city outgrew the rest of the country on economic strength, becoming the processing centre for trade goods from Macropodia and a strategic spearpoints for British vessels heading north to China. After the Kangaroo Republic's independence in 1849, Abury was designated the capital of the Kangaroo Republic. Its European origins as a city set it architecturally apart from the rest of the nation. Abury is culturally the most diverse city, its population split in fifths, with the nation's four native species accounting for 80% of the population, and the remaining 20% being of human Anglo-Celtic and other descent.

Rykinsvik was originally a small fishing town that was founded when the Viking explorers discovered the Vulkan tribe in the 1100s. Since the 1600s it was invested in heavily by the Danish who ruled over the entirety of Vulkanas until 1702. By the year 2000, it was the largest city in the now free Vulkanas, bigger than the capital city of Vulkanvik at the time. Then when the civil wars broke out, Rykinsvik was the seat of power for the Republic, who fought the Imperialist North, eventually accepting a peace that turned Vulkanas into a constitutional monarchy. Rykinsvik is more technologically advanced than any other Vulkan city, it has a large amount of research and science facilities, all of which are working to convert Vulkanas into a more environmentally friendly nation. In Rykinsvik, the government recently funded the construction of a huge amount of electric car charging points to lower pollution from vehicles, along with launching the Tachyon Whispher, a new electric car model made in Vulkanas from a company based in Rykinsvik. Rykinsvik is in many ways the industrial heart of Vulkanas, as it is where the majority of all exported goods are produced.

Please keep Hazamaeia beautiful!

Hi, Earth! I'm Rimarua from the Hazameian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I'll be handling this account now for Hazamaeia replacing Vice-Minister Ranuwavimranure so he can focus more on his higher duty in the ministry.

I also play badminton and will represent my nation in the next Olympic. At that time, I'll be most likely replaced by my roommate here, Arina. She works at the grocery store next to our apartment.

Why are you saying bad things about me, Rima? I am an author and I own that grocery store!
Oh look! She won the gold medal. Now I should stand her bragging about it.

This is still my eyes though.

GLOBAL WORLD CITIES CONFIRMATION

To New Philadelphia;

No, we did not forget your survey form. It was not a hard decision whether New Philadelphia will be a global city of the world or not. Read the comments below to see whether you are, or not a global city.

OVERVIEW: Your city has a healthy population of 14,000,000 people. They do not receive the amount of money that we would like your residents to receive on average. On the survey, it says that only 12,000 USD is given, on average, to the people of your city. This is unacceptable for the global world cities as our target is 36,000 USD. 60 square miles is very tiny for 14 million people living in. This means that 233,333 people is living in one square mile in your city. Not only this is way over our target of 20,000 people per square mile (By over 200,000 people) but you are telling us that nearly 1/4 of a million people live in one square mile. This is too cramped and it needs to be sorted out right away. You either need to get people to move out of your city or expand your city. How big are your road sizes. Because from this, they are small.
TRANSPORT: What? There are 37 buses that serve 14 million people? I am sorry but I do not get this survey. You must be joking me. Because your city is small, this means that there is 378378 people for one bus. Please tell us that you mean 37 bus routes because this is ridiculous. The amount of train lines makes up for the amount of buses and it is used frequently. There are 12 airports? Why do you need so many airports. The amount of airports is nearly half as much buses you have on the road. Plus, if you have 12 airports, your city is not a city but 1 massive airport land. I would hope that you could get to an airport whether it is 1am or rush hour. Yes, the trains and the few buses you have will be packed but that is why you need to get at least 1,000 more buses. Isn't that right? Finally, some good news. You repave you roads every 6 months which is music to our ears.
ADDITIONAL INFO: Please do not mess with us. This is important. We need to know your highest expenditure. Or is it nothing. Are you sure that your city's people is happy. When there is blizzards in the winter and it is suddenly hot in the summer? By what I have read, your city is not high tec nor developed. By the survey, your city is not split in to different areas which makes your city even more dis organised.

This is it. Your city is the first city not to be accepted for Semi global or global cities of the world. So your survey is DENIED. Please wait 10 days before taking a survey for another city.
