On the Topic of Race-Mixing

I've read theories and stories about how, in the future, 90-95% of humans will look extremely similar.
The theory usually claims we will all have tan-ish skin and black/brown hair.
The extra 5-10% is for people passing down recessive traits like blonde hair and blue eyes as well as isolated tribes/groups.

What do you think, NSG?
Personally, I think it's a great thing.
So much hatred and violence has been caused by racism and it would basically be nonexistent if we were all similar.
I think society would advance at a greater rate if we were all unified as well.

Hopefully, at the current rate of globalization and what-not, it takes less than 300-500 years to happen.

What can I judge about this topic? It´s either gonna happen or not. I don´t think that world will become a less hateful place after all the people are looking the same. Racism is just one form of social ventilation, if it disappears, we´ll invent another one very quickly.

Race-mixing isn't exactly good or bad. It's just kind of something that happens.

Personally, I think that the white supremacists are getting their panties in a wad over nothing. In theory, it's virtually impossible for a gene to die out unless there was a genocide of everyone who carried blonde/red hair and green/blue eye recessive genes. If this were to happen, people would pass down the genes and every once in a while you'd have a blue- or green-eyed child or a blonde- or red-haired kid.

I do think that darker features are becoming more common, with interracial marriages at an all-time high and showing no signs of stopping anytime soon, the recessive traits carried mostly by white people from the northern regions of Europe are not turning up as often in the next generation. I think that in a few generations, most white-dominant societies will look like Spain. Mostly dark-haired and dark-eyed but with a few blondes and green-eyed people thrown in.

This. There are some key things that these people are forgetting:

Only the western world, which accounts for only a small percentage of the world's population, expects this brown, mediocre world race to come into existence. Only the western world is supposed to be multiracial, and in the rest of the world there is absolutely no interest in the matter. The Chinese want Chinese citizens, the Japanese want Japanese citizens, and in African countries different tribes generally don't even mix. In the very best case, you'd have a few countries in Western Europe along with Britain, the United States and Canada populated with mediocre brown people.

Even in the western world, the uncomfortable truth for these people is that we're not mixing. If you look at the different groups in society, you'll find that they usually keep to themselves. Especially the whites, who - knowingly or not - are the prime target of those who dream of a brown race, are very unlikely to have children outside of their race. As I've said on several occasions, the threat to traditionally white countries is not race-mixing, because non-white children born to one white parent and one non-white parent are only a tiny percentage of all non-white children born.

There are already countries full of mixed brown people. You can look at most of Central and South America to get the picture, or you could look to many Caribbean islands. And yet in those places, racism is alive and kicking. The lighter ones rule, even if they're not entirely white, and the darker ones serve. That last bit reminds me of India, where you can tell people's caste by their physical appearance.

I'm not really that bothered. I mean, simply from an aesthetic view its kinda sad that my future relatives won't be able to see all the diversity, and personally humanity really interests me, so I enjoy noticing how different people from different places or backgrounds look. Its nice to be able to walk down the street as someone of Anglo-Celtic decent but also see people who are part Tartar or Miao, its kinda like living history, everyone is a portrait of all their ancestors. Then again, diversity for diversitys sake is a useless concept, so I guess its not too bad that this will occur. I have no interest in "protecting my race", plus it'll be funny to laugh in educations face after I'm dead for the whole "a world where everyone looked the same would be boring and bad" speeches.
