Please make sure to be on time, due to the volume of students we expect to be taking into consideration this year, we will not be accepting anyone for late admission. No exceptions.
Since the beginning of Time there have been Magick users such as us that have roamed the world. Over the years we have formed ourselves into Five Major Disciplines formed by individual Sects, within these Sects are Families in which that Discipline is known to most occur, being born to one Family does not necessarily mean that you will belong to the Discipline that most of the Family does. The Choosing is based on the Individual.
The Five Major Disciplines are as follows:
Magicus Naturis- To be one with the natural world is a difficult thing, perfected by the Families that make up the Nature clan of Magi. They are known to be a peaceful and helpful lot, however, they are fearsome when crossed. Most Followers of this Discipline serve as Acolytes to The Great Goddess. Their leader is: Yet to be Decided
Magicus Technologicarae- This clan of Magi knows the ins and outs of technology the way most of us dream. They are said to have invented much technology that they will not take credit for. They are known most for their documentation and genealogical work. Most Followers of this Discipline serve as Historians and Chroniclers or Scholars or Teachers. Their leader is: Lorenzo "Il Mascherato" Alcaterin
Magicus Summonae- The Summoners are a powerful and fearsome clan of Magi whose Families are more often in blood feuds than not. This is the clan that deals most with the realm of spirits and provides Familiars for the young Magi. They are the most attuned to the spiritual world. Most Followers of this Discipline serve as Mediums, Seers, and Spiritual Guides. The most advanced Seers act as Watchers and report magical behavior to the Enforcers. Their leader is: Seiji Tsuchimikado
Magicus Vodun- The Voodoo practitioners are a powerful and secretive clan made up of some of the oldest Families of our history. Followers of this Discipline serve as Lawmakers, Enforcers, and Protectors. Their leader is: Marie Laveau
Magicus Lingua- This Clan is the most well known and most visible of the Five Major Disciplines. Their Magick is dependant on their will and their knowledge of language. They are most easily integrated into the non-magickal community and many have non magickal spouses. The Followers of this Discipline have a large realm of options to choose from in manners of how they serve. Many are Treasurers, Teachers, and Artisans. The Royal Family is dedicated to this Discipline. Their leaders are: Voxania Laeus Ziaeni and Alexandre Caius Vazel
There are many Minor Disciplines and those of you that do not fit into one of the Major Disciplines will be schooled here. Their leader is: Thomas "Deus" Warfield
When you are presented to the panel you will be Measured and asked to perform Five Tasks. Depending on your performance and the Color of the Staff of Merlinus Ambrosious, the leader who thinks you will do best among their Discipline.

Personality: She is humble...now. She has been alive long enough to know that humility is a necessity. But she is also a no nonsense, honest and powerful woman. She takes her jobs and duties seriously and she takes her Family...which she considers to be all witches and their offspring as her priority. She is genuinely gentle and kind in most instances but can also be vicious and ruthless when it is needed.
History: It is said that she is the Nefertiri of Egyptian history, but no one actually knows if that's the truth or not, except her I suppose. She has been the Keeper of the Families as long as anyone can remember and the last Pure Member of the Royal Family. She spends most of her time traveling to the school and to the Headquarters of each of the Clans. She is the Chairman of the Council of Magi and helps any family or clan when needed. Personality: She is a very serious, businesslike woman. She has very little time (in her mind) for fun or dating or any of that personal connection crap she's been told all of her life to try. She is a little uptight and even more tense. Personality: Generally she is a caring and fun loving soul, but when it comes to business, at least the business of Vodun, she is a very serious individual, and when crossed she is a force to fear. Generally she is a nice woman, though her reputation and level of power makes her hard to approach for many, something she tries to work around by being an engaging, encouraging person, who can often be found walking and talking with people of all walks of life, levels of power, and disciplines.
History: The Queen of Voodoo herself, after her 'death' she drifted around a bit, under various names. She worked to spread her influence around the Vodun world, eventually claiming 'control' of the discipline by the out break of the First World War. She used this position, and the power of Vodun itself to act as the law and peacekeepers between the Disciplines. Though she often tries to avoid serious problems between the disciplines, especially from spilling out into the spotlight of the world, she's had to take some drastic measures, especially during the Second World War, during which she really brought the hammer down, and made people generally terrified of her.

Abilities: Summoning things that really, really don't want to be summoned. Things that resist the bonds of summoning, and fight that which brings them to the material plane. Because this plane sucks that's why, but he is really good at bringing them here, binding them, and then making them dance a tango if he so chooses.
Personality: Pretty affable, but think of him as one of those tire shredders at a car rental place. Easy going if you're going his way, but try to back over him and he'll kick up his spikes and fight.
History: Dude. He's 19. The fuck kind of history do you think he has? He ate, slept, shat, and generally fucked around until he realized "holy mother of fucking christ I can summon shit!" At which point his parents went "Holy mother of fucking christ you're really fucking good at summoning shit!" So then they taught him how to summon, how to bind creatures to his will, how to use them to fight, and yes, how to fight himself. His dad was really big on being able to handle yourself in a straight up fight with swords or fists, and a cursory education in guns. His mother was disdainful of any kind of fighting that didn't involve magic. He became embroiled in his first inter-house war when he was sixteen, because some punk ass du'Tigris toughs decided it would be funny to raid a du'Draco house. Now admittedly the du'Dracos and the du'Tigris' had been embroiled in a blood feud for a century, but still. Not cool. So the du'Dracos decided to take their new summoner to a du'Tigris' compound, and have him summon a few Fiends inside. The place burned to the ground in minutes, but the screaming didn't stop for hours. The du'Dracos were happy, the du'Tigris' were furious, and the blood feud went on.
The first time Brad summoned a Dragon (where did you think the family name comes from?) he got a dragon tattoo on his left arm. Not everybody is able to summon a full dragon by themselves, and the family is usually standing by to dismiss the creature if it breaks free of its bonding. Alternatively to shake their heads in shame if the summoner fails to actually summon the great beast. Every member of the du'Draco family may choose to take the test at any time after they've turned sixteen. It used to be whenever the summoner chose, and bad luck if you weren't ready, but a steady line of ten year olds getting eaten or burned or crushed was getting awkward at the family gatherings. The tattoo is both to symbolize the power of the caster, and because it looks badass as fuck, and it's a teeny tiny bit of a centuries long tradition. NBD. He'll get his second tattoo when he is able to summon two dragons at once. And control them. There are rumors of members of the house with a third and even fourth tattoo, but only rumors. Nobody really wants to find out, because, well, Dragons. Also there's an absolute magical shitstorm brewing in those tattoos that heighten a summoner's natural ability and enhances their connection to the spirit world. But the badass factor is paramount.

Abilities: Illusionist par excellence, proficient of the Yendorian Magical Framework, some Hellspawn Combat and Diplomatic Magic
Personality: High-strung and rowdy, he is nonetheless that rare demon who is capable of compassion. That is why it was possible to turn him. Wears his heart on his sleeve, and likes to use his skills ans an illusionist to pull pranks on not-so-helpless victims. Badass? He'd rather get in a burping contest than a fight. Likes wine, beer, women, beer, song, beer, whiskey, beer and did I mention beer?
History: Marvel's ovum was laid in a librarian in Ancient Babylon. He matured and pupated in this human's body, as did all of his species at the time, and then took his place in the infantry of the underworld. Owing to the fact that he retained his host's ability to read, among other things, he rose through the ranks and was transferred into the underworld's Diplomatic Corps.
He escaped the underworld when the information reached him that his master, the Demon Prince SmashMouth, had come to feel that he knew too much about an ongoing conflict. He was to be fed to an Eater Demon named Slabbaflab, but opened a magic portal right in Slabbaflab’s esophagus. He once again entered earth, where he took human form and tried to blend in.
He took up living with a temple prostitute in the city of Gomorra. Though he became close with the human, he used his tail stinger to give her enjoyable interludes. At the time, he was unaware of the digestive enzymes in the venom. He learned the hard way. It killed her. Then, he found that another demon controlled the temple, and had used him to deal with a temple prostitute, who was too free-spirited and independent for the controlling demon’s liking. Marvel trashed the temple, exposing and killing the demon, and the city did not survive the turmoil that followed. (See shot story, “The Gomorra Incident,” published in the Gratista Vampire Clan’s anthology, “A Look Into the Mirror Darkly.”)
Then, he took to living as a farm hand for about ten years in the land of Yendor. It was during this time that he learned to pass as a human. One day, as he was plowing the fields, he noticed that things were too quiet. A troop of (other) Red Gargoyle Demons were attacking the town and trying (and often succeeding) to impregnate the townspeople. Together with the farmer and a few other friends, he moved the townspeople into the castle at Yendor Keep. Once there, he found out that the local ruler, a man by the name of Duke Rodney ("Rodney" is "Yendor" spelled backwards) was in league with the demons. It was during this time that he was completely turned and ceased to be a Creature of Darkness--though the process leading up to this took many years. With the Court Sorcerer and a few other friends, he thwarted the Duke's evil plans. The few remaining demons carried the Duke off and did who knows what (I'll leave it to your imagination) with him. And, from this, the underworld learned that he walked the land. They have a policy against unlicensed realmwalkers, so...they sent a little Sanitation Detail—only about 10,000 troops. Its purpose was to turn the extinct volcano (Mount Yendor) into which Yendor Keep was built from a mountain to a crater, and the Town of Yendor into a little red smudge on the map.
With the help of the Court Sorcerer and a few others (as in just about everyone left in the castle), Marvel faked the eruption of Mount Yendor. And it almost worked--convinced that the town had met its demise, the Sanitation Detail was about to return to the underworld when somebody sneezed. Fortunately, six unwinged Angels were on hand, and, after making short work of the demon army, got their wings back. This left the townsfolk healthy, happy and alive. Oh, and the Court Sorcerer, a corrupt, greedy man, ended up in the Duke's seat. When he tried to capture Marvel and turn him into a medical sample, Marvel spread his wings, took off and never looked back. (See forthcoming novel, “Paying Hell.”)
After another interlude, he met the Grand Wizard Yendor, who had founded Yendor Keep. The Wizard tricked him and put him in a bottle, to be kept in The Lab until needed. During this time, Marvel became proficient in the Yendorian Magical Framework, a method of simplifying and quantifying magic. There are rumors of a magical Prank War that is going on between them. Considerably bold, he isn't afraid to confront people, nor is he worried about the impression he leaves since he's simply being himself. He has no qualms about killing people, yet he is not above doing good deeds, such as saving people from a fire or donating some money. Of course, he is still ruthless and can be vengeful to an extent. He as a slightly jaded, cynical outlook a fair amount of the time, and isn't too sane. There's also something "enthralling" about him, and it's more or less impossible to get the complexity of his mind. He can have a dry ironic, and dark sense of humour, and is sometimes cold, yet warm and cordial at other times. Can be prideful, and at other times, wrathful. Has many other facets to his personality. He usually seems quite charismatic and friendly, though that's one among many outer façades, and it's far more complex than that, with elements both dark and mysterious included. Despite knowing as much as he knows, he's never one to pass an opportunity to further his own knowledge, as well as increase his power and range of abilities.
History: Seiji was born in 1386, the heir to the Tsuchimikado Clan (once known as the Abe clan, of which the famous Japanese equivalent to Merlin, Abe no Seimei came from. And originally descended from a son of Emperor Kōgen, who reigned from 214 BC – 158 BC) that served as Onmyouj and therefore spiritual advisors, including diviners, exorcists, alchemists, seers and astrologists in the Imperial Court for centuries to come. Even from his childhood days Seiji was identified as a genius in whatever it was that he took to doing, and a once-in-a-generation prodigy. He is surprisingly knowledgeable about a considerable number of things, from history and music to art and the sciences- and on a more evident note, the occult. His fascination with conflict also leant him a proficiency with some weapons as soon as he as able to delve into that kind of area, as well as a number of martial arts from different parts of Japan, in time coming to include styles that would come into being hundreds of years later; his interest no less dimmed. As he grew up, he was acutely aware of how others often envied his abilities, and whilst he was fairly young; his potential. He would end up attaining the ire of a few rival Onmyouji, including one from a branch family of the Tsuchimikado clan, which naturally introduced more unpleasant elements into the equation. In other areas, he became something of a renowned painter, as well as skilled at smithing with various metals, and as a musician.
Mastering Onmyoudo, his unique synthesis of various different styles, including those of other Onmyouji clans like the Dairenji, Souma, Kurahashi, and Momoe, would draw a fair degree of renown upon himself, as well as revitalize Onmyoudo in Japan. Through both his actions and his odd personality, he attained a considerable number of followers. At some point in the 1400s, he became the head of the Onmyo Bureau, with the headquarters situated in Kyoto. Some of his investigation into the lesser known elements of Onmyoudo also resulted in him rediscovering Abe no Seimei's forbidden research on immortality, resulting in Seiji being unable to age. Though it turned out he wasn't the only one interested in this knowledge, and one of those rivals in the branch family, a mysterious and manipulative Onmyouji known by the name of Kurayami Tsuchimikado, also obtained it.
Later on, he would end up tutoring Yasutomi Tsuchimikado in the mid-Edo period, who, influenced by his own style, officially formulated a more commonly used form of Onmyoudo originating from their clan.
Rarely getting involved on any particular side during the Sengoku period, he used his influence to create academies for Onmyouji in different parts of Japan, also taking to travelling to other parts of the world at points. Though at one point he aided the Uesugi Clan against Shingen of the Takeda, and was targeted by Chiyome Mochizuki several times, later retracting his involvement, since he found well-executed assassination attempts to be something of a hassle to deal with. Though Shingen's mysterious death in 1573 could have potentially been Seiji's doing, as payback of sorts.
Later on, due to the machinations of some of his enemies, including those outside of Japan, the Meiji Restoration ended up proving to be a blow to the influence of Onmyouji, after the Emperor proclaimed Onmyoudo to be nothing more than a superstition in the mid-1800s, prohibiting it as such. Nonetheless, with organisations dedicated to him, like the Twin Horn Syndicate, as well as Seiji becoming a key figure in the Imperial Japanese military, he was able to lead a modernised Japan to victory in the first Sino-Japanese war, as well as the Russo-Japanese war.
However, in the second world war, things would become far more complicated, said complications also being present in the overlapping second Sino-Japanese war. Whilst helping Japan via occult aid to various victories in the earlier parts of both, including the Battle of Singapore, in which 130,000 Allied troops became prisoners of war. Though other events were also due to his machinations, including the events that followed the capture of Nanjing by Imperial Japanese forces in 1937.
During the war, the Onmyo Agency was established, as a new take on the Onmyo Bureau, by request of the military with the original intent to utilize magic to boost their strength in the war. With the Bureau being established and then reintegrated into the military with the purpose of creating more Onmyouji. Naturally, Seiji was installed as the Agency's first head.
When the decisive battle of Midway occurred, Seiji knew that without more serious help, there would be a gradual takeover and defeat of Japan. It would only be several months later when back in Kyoto, an extremely potent summoning ritual would be sabotaged by some of his long time rivals, lead by a certain Kurayami Tsuchimikado. Opponents also included those under an organisation backed by a cabal of occultists in remnants of China that weren't under Japanese control. It would spiral out of control, creating a massive spiritual disaster in the Kansai region, from which ran rampant various demons and types of malicious Youkai, and resulting in his disappearance for nearly twenty years. During said disappearance, Seiji can recall little other than that bad stuff happened. His disappearance, and the aftermath of the disaster, resulted in Japan being in such dire straits that they would rapidly begin to loose the war, with the official surrender merely a few years later. Though America's superior resources and numbers, among other things, would play a fair part. To a degree, some Onmyouji still blame him for the disaster, though a majority nonetheless retain their respect and reverence for him.
In regards to the Onmyo Agency; when the war ended, its focus changed and became a bureaucratic body charged with regulating the now more widely spread system of Onmyoudo, as well as dealing with the frequent spiritual disasters in Tokyo and other areas, specifically Kyoto, which still remains spiritually unstable. It has jurisdictions and legalities over all things concerning magic in Japan. It is because of this that organization has run into some unrest with more traditional members and sects of Onmyoudo who feel that their ways are being trampled upon.
Returning in 1961, Seiji rebuilt his influence over the next three decades, with the help of the increasingly influential Twin Horn Syndicate, which had secretly prophesied his return following the war, whilst their leader, Atsune Hirata, used the disillusionment caused by Japan's defeat to recruit new generations of Onmyouji to their cause. Seiji also reinforced his status as leader of Magicus Summonae, despite the setbacks caused by the Great Spiritual Disaster of late 1942, and his disappearance.

Occupation: Healer and shopkeeper. She owns a shop selling occult goods and some potions, and in the back room she has an infirmary and a kitchen (for making potions).
Abilities: She has memorised hundreds of recipes for potions and salves, many for healing (hence her job), others more magical. She can create sleeping potions, potions to temporarily increase energy (both physical and magickal), potions to counter the effects of another person's magick upon someone, potions to induce specific mental states, and even a few curses. She has also developed a potion that can loosen the control of a Vodun witch on someone (if you allow it...). Additionally, she possesses a few dozen books devoted to brewery. Incidentally, she requires many diverse ingredients (including herbs, oils, and animal parts), of which she possesses many in her apartment/shop and on her person. This also requires time and usually a receptacle in which to mix (and often heat) the ingredients.
Personality: She isn't afraid to be brutally honest, and often accuses people of being fools. She feels that her discipline is among the most powerful, sometimes belittling other disciplines, especially the Major Disciplines, saying that "I can cook up everything you thought was impossible." Nevertheless, she cares for others, especially those in need of help.
History: She grew up in New Orleans, a member of a prestigious Vodun Family that has branches in Louisiana, Haiti, and Québec. They taught her from a young age their art, and as such such she knows quite a bit about the inner workings of the Vodun practice and can even speak the language of their rituals with a high competency. Needless to say, they were quite disappointed when she showed an affinity instead for brewery. They never outright rejected her, but from that moment forth she was relegated to the fringes of all Family activity. Even though she rapidly became recognised as one of the most powerful and knowledgeable brewers in the world, she cannot help but feel that, even to this day, her Family views her as a disappointment. Thus, she lives away from her relatives, and has devoted her life to helping others. She now lives in an apartment above her shop.

Abilities: He is capable of summoning several different spirits, mostly small ones; but his main spirit is Gluttony. He uses Gluttony for most combat purposes, because Gluttony is the most powerful spirit that he can summon. However, he can also summon a bird-like spirit for transport, a brownie for housework and cooking, and a salamander to create fire, among others.
Personality: He is obsessed with his appearance and presentation, showering and shaving every day, having put himself on a strict diet and exercise regimen, and normally wearing a suit. He views spirits merely as tools, feeling no empathy for them. If a spirit gets out of line, he will punish it, plain and simple, usually simply by hitting them on the head with his rod, but in more extreme cases will even repetitively beat it.
History: He was brought up in the Morningstar Family, in which every member's goal is to summon one of the Vices. As such, he learned to be ambitious from a young age. He excelled at his training when the time came and, by the time he was 17, had learned to summon Gluttony. By the time he was 19, he was one of the Seven Virtues of the Morningstars, and since then he has lived on his own in a house in a city, returning to the Family estate when need be and taking care of the occasional paperwork, in return for a generous salary. At the moment the Morningstars are not in any arguments.

The Spirit Application (I modified the character app)

Abilities: He has mouths with razor-sharp teeth and extendable prehensile tongues all over his body, and he can make more of them at will. He can also merge all of them together to form a massive mouth that begins at his head and stretches to cover almost the entire front of his torso, which opens into a massive void. He can eat anything: stone, fire, metal, bombs, even magic. In this way he can store objects and people inside of himself. If his summoner wishes it, he can also (for lack of a better word) regurgitate anything that he has swallowed, including items, people, and even projectiles (such as bullets).
Personality: First and foremost, he is constantly hungry. However, the mouth on his head has a slightly different personality from the mouths elsewhere on his body: his head has a whiny voice and really rather childish and despicable, but also quite spiteful; while the other mouths have deep voices that command respect and are somewhat more proud and demanding than the head. Despite this, the mouths often speak in harmony.
The Vices
The vices are a group of seven powerful spirits traditionally in service of the Morningstar Family. Their names are Pride, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, Avarice, Gluttony, and Lust; and arguably the most powerful among them is Pride. They can only be summoned by someone who balances with them: this generally means that their summoner must not emulate that which they represent, but rather be opposite to them. For this reason, no one has successfully summoned Pride in over a century, as anyone who believes that they will succeed is generally too prideful, while those who might be able to generally just don't try. They all have distinct abilities related to their vice: Pride is physically and magically more powerful than the other Vices; Envy can transform into another person; Wrath is capable of mass destructive power; Sloth is capable of simply nullifying the effects of magic in an area; Avarice is capable of multiplying the amount of anything that he touches; Gluttony is capable of eating anything; and Lust is able to make people enter into a fantasy of their own creation.

Personality: Very dry and brusque. She gets to the point, and doesn't see much of a point of lying. About as subtle as a freight train.
History: Growing up in the Faustus family was not a very good environment. Her parents were always fighting over how to raise her, whether she should be brought up with Vodun or Lingua. She didn't spend much time with her family, instead spent hours wandering her families catacombs. When she was 16 she stumbled upon Conrad's coffin and research materials. She was curious, as she'd never seen a Conrad Faustus in the family tree. Needless to say she took and studied the extensive research material, leaving the mysterious corpse behind. A year later she met the corpse again, as her family convened to inform her that she would be given her servant. She knew which she wanted. The awakening did not turn out as well as predicted, Conrad upon waking up flew into a violent rage, injuring both her mother and father before she managed to place the talisman on his forehead. Fortunately, the wounds were not severe. Unfortunately, Conrad was incredibly unhappy about being woken up, and even less happy about the condition of his research materials. However, Albertina acknowledged that he still had much to teach, so she decided to put up with the volatile, irritating, and often unreasonable Conrad, until he'd taught her all he could. Then he could sleep again. And not a second before.

However, his undead body has more than compensated, he's a talented caligrapher and incredibly clever. Has a very large knowledge of Majicus Vodun.
Personality: Conrad, as a Jiang Shi, serves Albertina as a mentor. He's snarky and incredibly nitpicky towards Albertina and everything that she does. Just kind of unpleasant for everyone else. He can also be unbelievably creepy to women he finds attractive.
History: Conrad was born over 500 years ago, in the Faustus family in Germany. Growing up he was not a strong magic user, but he craved more knowledge. He wandered the world until he found a place to stay. A small Majicus Vodun village, and he lived for most of his life there, however he left just before he died to return home. He never revealed why he left.

Personality: quiet, not very out going. She loves silence and can usually be found in the forest sitting silently somewhere. She can be very up-beat if she wants to. She usually likes to be around nature, but if she has to be, she will be in a crowd or something.
History: father was a naturis, mother was normal, long history of violence from mother. Abusive. Father went and gave Rosalina to his brother and she never saw her mother or father again. Except in the obituary ten years later. After that she became the quiet type, almost as a personality change to protect herself. She became more involved in plants at her senior year of school, she was at prom and she saw her friend being bullied by other girls in the bathroom. Rosalina made the girls go to the hospital with severe scratches and gashes on there bodies. She never told the truth as to what she actually used. Outside the bathroom was an old rose bush she had used and used violently. She made the thorns scratch like a knife. They never did actually find out that she was lying. Her friend then died after committing suicide and that was the year Rosalina started to work.

Personality: Thomas does not generally associate with people and when he does its very gruff and impersonal, and because of that he's acquired a rather terrible reputation. However the truth is he is quite shy around people most people.
History: "Deus" had an easy life growing up, pampered by his parents, still, he was shut out from normal social interactions. He never had much use for interactions, so instead he devoted himself to the study of magic. He dabbled in everything he could get his hands on and soon both he and his parents discovered that his talents did not lay in a single field, but many, many fields. He soon found himself sweeping up the ranks, his knowledge of magical disciplines, major and minor alike, never enough to master them, but enough skill in each to warrant the attention of the previous head of the Minor Discipline Collective. For once, he found a person rather interesting, and he spoke with the head frequently but as time ticked on, his health decayed, and the previous head died, leaving Deus to take over in his place. Its been 5 years since then and Thomas has still been rather reluctant to fulfill his duties, as he'd prefer to continue his studies, but as no one else in the collective has the skills to take over, he remains the head.

Occupation: He holds considerable influence over the black market for magically enhanced technology, especially arms dealing.
Abilities: When he's bored, he makes clockwork toys, tiny trinkets that perform prespecified actions, but he's capable of so much more than that. Wireless Internet? He invented it -- and in fact, the witches had access to it years before the regular humans did. He also excels in making fully-functioning prosthetic limbs (though he himself cannot install them; his knowledge of biology is not sufficient). However, his specialty is in arms manufacture. He makes and sells guns that shoot unlimited energy rounds, sniper rifles that aim themselves, bombs that disrupt magickal workings in the area without actually causing much physical harm, and even tanks that can drive themselves.
Personality: Outwardly, Lorenzo is serious and prefers to keep his relationships professional. However, underneath his façade, he feels like a lonely child. Nevertheless, he deals with enemies quickly and efficiently -- but not so quickly that he doesn't have time to enjoy it. Unlike many witches, he has a lot of respect for the practitioners of the Minor Disciplines. He also has an abnormally high pain threshold.
History: There is speculation that he is in some way related to Leonardo da Vinci, though this remains unconfirmed. What is known for certain is that he was born and raised in Venice, and made a name for himself as a skilled witch at a young age. However, he never really did much with his gift until he got trapped in a burning building at the age of 22. His skin melted, and his right eye was rendered permanently useless. Truth be told, if his parents hadn't found him and hired a Healer, he would have died. Even so, the scars he bears marred his appearance for life, so he took to hiding his face behind and mask, giving him the moniker "Il Mascherato," The Masked One. He only rose to prominence when he managed to fashion a false eye made from a video camera, imbuing it with magick so that it would act like a normal eye, receiving instructions from the brain and relaying images back to it, but also so that it would have all of the advantages of an electronic camera. As such, he can zoom in on images, see things in infrared for thermal imaging, and even take pictures that are stored in his mind. Of course, when he had this installed to replace his nonfunctioning right eye, it was an unbearably painful process. That was when he was in his thirties. With the invention of wireless internet (which he can access with his mind), he was immediately appointed the next Leader, and when his predecessor died 11 years ago, he took over the position enthusiastically, taking over the market for magickal weapons and quickly rising to the forefront of magickal arms development.
